Chapter 20: Failure and Resurrection
Braga watched as the second enemy fleet came out of hyperspace just as the Lucrehulks fled while leaving Salvation behind. The imperial fleet consisted of three Star Destroyers, four carriers, and ten light carriers while Braga simply waited for them to close in. With no Assault Sentinels at his disposal, he could only watch as the Imperial Fleet sent a landing battalion toward Mandalore. As soon as they were close enough to Mandalore's skies, a laser field appeared around the entire planet turning the landing carriers into embers. Since the imperials were unable to invade the planet, the fleet fired at the laser grid only to watch the energy projectiles to also turn into ash showing it was no use
"So they have learned," Braga whispered looking at the three divided forces as they began to advance toward Salvation.
"...what shall we do Brother Braga?" Zero asked not fazed by their forces dividing.
"Begin phase one," Braga commanded and watched as Salvation charged itself and fired upon the far left fleet that was closest to Mandalore which turned them to embers.
Although Braga wished to gain more spacecraft for the Night, such a thing against a large fleet could prove fatal if taken lightly. He narrowed his eyes as he looked upon the remaining two factions that continued their advance.
"Begin phase two," Braga spoke watching as Delta and Eta appeared over the two remaining factions while releasing all their fighters who rained down on the Imperial fleet.
This caught both factions off guard which cost them all their Light Carriers as half of their Carriers. It did not take them long before they launched their counterattack upon the Lucrehulks. While the two Imperial factions were occupied with the Lucrehulks, Braga sent Lost Faith to take the command ship. Within Lost Faith, Braga prepared a platoon of Hyenas as well as a team of Shadows to deal with the crew bridge as well as capture the commanding officer.
"Shall we begin the next phase?" Zero asked facing Braga who faintly nodded. "Begin phase three!"
Lost Faith slipped into the hanger bay of the Imperial Command ship before releasing the platoon of Hyenas as well as the Shadows. The Shadows had only a single task to complete, and that was to gain control over the bridge while the Hyenas dealt with the ship's engine as well as its shields.
"Commander Braga. We have successfully taken over the bridge of the ship as well as their commander," One of the Shadows responded earning a nod from the Forerunner as a small holographic image of the Shadow and the Imperial Commander appeared revealing it to be another Clone.
"Will you ceasefire and surrender peacefully Commander?" Brag asked looking at the clone who stood his ground.
"Never," The commander responded.
"What is your name?" Braga asked while bringing his arms to his sides.
"I am Clone Commander IQU-103," He said before Braga bowed his head slightly in respect.
"I shall remember your name IQU-103," Braga said before raising his head and looking over to the Shadow.
As the Shadow saw Braga look at him, the commando droid simply nodded before bringing his hand over to the commander's chin to quickly twist his head breaking his neck. Once the commander's body went limp, the Shadow caught his form and slowly laid him onto the ground before bringing the clone's arms across his chest. Braga bowed his head slightly once more before sighing and facing the Shadows now while crossing his arms over his chest now.
"Eliminate all other Imperials aboard the ship. Enter the final phase," Braga spoke before closing the hologram image.
"Is there something wrong Brother Braga?" Zero asked tilting his form slightly.
"Something feels off. This battle is not only easy but...the fleet also seems smaller than I anticipated," Braga answered while looking at the ground.
As if on cue, two screens appeared revealing Krismo on his left and Eclipse on his right.
"There is a massive fleet making their way to Quarzite, Braga. We will need reinforcements," Krismo spoke with a worried face.
"There is also a massive fleet making its way to Mygeeto Commander Braga. We lack the forces to push them back. We are requesting immediate reinforcements" Eclipse notified.
Before Braga could respond, a third screen appeared revealing Ventress.
"Master. I was notified that there is a large fleet making its way to Dathomir. We need help," Ventress asked.
This caused Braga's eyes to grow wide as he realized what the Emperor has done. The Emperor knew Braga's forces were being thinned out due to the countless invasions even with the new order that took place. Braga could not help but grip his arms tightly before a new alert rang making Braga lookup.
"Another fleet is coming out of hyperspace Brother Braga to attack Mandalore," Zero spoke causing Braga to close his eyes.
"I am activating code Ark," Braga spoke up while closing his eyes.
"What is code Ark?" Ventress asked first.
"Code Ark is the evacuation of all allies...who will be transported to a new world," Zero answered causing almost everyone to widen their eyes.
"You're asking us to abandon our home world?" Krismo questioned now glaring at Braga.
"I will not leave the birthplace of my ancestors to the Empire!" Ventress screamed.
"...I am asking you to retreat and fight another day. We must admit we are too few to do anything right now," Braga admitted while bringing his arms to his sides.
Ventress blinked at this before nodding her head in agreement.
"I will begin to evacuate Mother and my sisters," Ventress responded before ending her comms.
"I will also prepare my people to evacuate," Krismo said as he ended his communications leaving Eclipse who stood in silence.
"Commander Braga. The Lurmen are refusing to leave their home," Eclipse spoke causing the Forerunner to narrow his eyes.
"Let me speak with Tee Wat Kuu," Braga commanded as Eclipse bowed his head and moved out of the way to reveal the elderly Lurmen to reveal himself. "Why do you not wish to stay on Mygeeto? If you leave this world, I can find you a new one. One safe from the Empires influence,"
"If this is our time to perish then we will not fight it," Tee Watt responded while shaking his head and raising his head to look at Braga. "You cannot save everyone, Braga...you have to accept that..."
Braga fell dead silent as the comms to the elderly Lurmen walked away as Eclipse walked back into view.
"...Commander Braga. I am requesting Nightfall squad stay behind and protect the Lurmen," Eclipse spoke up causing Braga to look at the Magnaguard.
"You will perish with them Eclipse as well as your squad," Braga reminded earning a nod from the Magnaguard droid.
"We are well aware Commander Braga," Eclipse replied before Braga nodded his head. "It was an honor Commander Braga,"
With that said, Eclipse closed communications before Braga closed his eyes and raised his head in deep thought.
"Patch me into Bo-Katan," Braga commanded as he lowered his head to look forward.
A screen appeared revealing Bo-Katan with her arms crossed while she and the Mandalorian's under her stood victorious over another fallen Imperial Base.
"Braga? Why have you contacted me?" Bo-Katan asked tilting her head.
"The Empire is going on an all-out Invasion on all the planets under my protection," Braga said getting right to the point causing Bo-Katan to take her helmet off and glare at Braga.
"So why are you contacting me?" Bo-Katan asked gripping her hand into a fist.
"I am initiating a planetary evacuation known as Code: Ark," Braga answered. "I am gathering all those who wish to leave the planet to be moved to a new one...even though it is up to them if they wish to make it permanent or temporary, "I have created a link system around your to prevent Imperial forces from landing on Mandalore….sadly if their entire fleet focuses on the system then it will fall,"
"You promised us that you could defend our home!" Bo-Katan shouted.
"This is a major setback...but I recommend that you gather your warriors and fall back to Salvation II's location. From there, Zero will notify everyone on the planet they will make their own," Braga informed. "This is not the end of this Bo-Katan...it is far from it," The Forerunner commented as his armor shifted crimson red for a split second.
This did not go unnoticed by Bo-Katan before she scuffed and slipped her helmet back onto her head.
"Send me and my warriors back to Mandalore. We will defend it to our last," Bo-Katan demanded.
"You will be fighting a losing battle Bo-Katan. You know this as much as I," Braga reminded. "You and your Mandalorian's are powerful warriors but nowhere near as strong enough to fight an entire Imperial Fleet on your own. I recommend you take the new planet and make it into a temporary base,"
"What you are asking is impossible Braga. Leave our home world to the Empire...not while we Mandalorian's still draw breath," Bo-Katan declared.
"...if you ever change your mind Bo-Katan...Zero will take you and any warriors who survive to the new planet," Braga said while closing his eyes. "Although you wish to fight for your home...I will evacuate any who wish to leave Mandalore for now...in time they will return to reclaim it,"
Bo-Katan could only nod her head before ending her communications as Braga's armor continued to flicker violently from crimson red to sky blue.
"Nightfall squads fleet has been decimated, Brother Braga...the Imperial Fleet has also begun to bombard Mygeeto's planet side," Zero notified.
"Has the evacuation ship fled?" Braga asked softly.
"Yes. There is only a handful of Lurmen onboard the carrier," Zero answered earning a nod from Braga.
"Prepare Lost Faith. I am going to Mygeeto...once the evacuation of Mandalore is complete. Fall back to Salvation II's location...have all your copies remain behind as a final defense to all our worlds to gather as much personal and civilians to transport them to safe worlds," Braga commanded as Zero watched.
"What about you Brother Braga?" Zero asked tilting his form.
"I am going to let Naga lose on Mygeeto," Braga answered as he left the war room with his arms hanging by his sides. "When the time is right...you know what to do Brother Zero,"
As Braga left, Zero looked back at the three screens of the evacuation of Mandalore, Quarzite, and Dathomir. It took only an hour before the Imperial Fleet engaged all three of the Nights Armada in which Zero made his way into the Communications Room. Zero did his best to stall before all three planets were evacuated off-world to gather by Salvation II. Once Mandalore finished its evacuation, Salvation I had jumped to appear by its twin with only four Lucrehulk Carrier's insight.
"This is all that remains of my copies..." Zero stated. "Alpha, Delta, and Meta..."
"Yes," The two copies responded in unison.
"No matter. We shall make the best of it. Per Brother Braga and Code: Ark. All Remaining Lucrehulks shall become the home base for all those who evacuated. In doing so, all remaining units will be tasked with keeping and assisting with our ally's needs," Zero responded.
"Understood," Delta replied.
"We're all here Master Braga, where are...where is Master Braga?" Ventress asked as her holographic form appeared in the Communications Room where she looked around in hopes of finding her master.
"Brother Braga has gone to take care of some matters in Mygeeto. Do keep in mind all planets have been found in Wild Space through a wormhole that the Lucrehulks can pass through with the help of our upgraded shields as well as armor. Now as for where you will all be going to make your home. The Dathomirians will be sent to Uthalont, a swamp world," Zero informed. " Be warned, there have been sightings of Rancor, poisonous insects, as well as a faint dark presence within the world,"
"Then it's just like home," Ventress spoke as her holographic form faded followed by her Lucrehulk being sent off to the Dathomirian's new home.
"And what of us?" Krismo's asked with his arms crossed gaining Zeroes attention who nodded his head.
"I haven't forgotten about you Krismo nor your Kage. As for your people, they will be sent to the planet Filzot, a small world with a powerful storm making it uninhabitable on the surface but underground lays a large cavern for your people to make it as you please. Please be warned, large scorpion-like creatures roam its catacombs as well as dragonflies," Zero warned earning a faint nod from Krismo before his form disappeared as well followed by another Lucrehulk being sent off.
"Next will be the Lurmen which will be sent to the world, Rulsilaath which has plains, meadows, lakes, and oceans. Be warned that there are hostile bull species as well as water carnivores," Zero notified bowing his form as the lone Lurmen returned the favor as her form faded away. "Last but not least the Mandalorian's...your new world is called Ukit. Almost like the Lurmen's new home, it is an inhabitable one...but unlike the Lurmen it is much more dangerous as the Scout Sentinels have spotted multiple hostile species ranging from felines to Rancor's. A world almost made to strengthen the Mandalorian's," Zero said moving up and down ever so slightly before finally calming down and watching as the lone female Mandalorian bowed her head in thanks as her holographic form faded away as well with the final Lucrehulk leaving the system.
"Prime Zero...what about us?" Omega questioned.
"We shall hide within Wild Space out of sight until Brother Braga's return," Zero replied. "While we wait...have all production of the Hyenas stop and put full focus on construction Sentinels with some modifications,"
"Construction Sentinels?" Omega repeated confused.
"Yes. They will be in charge of building our fleet. Something we should have done in the first place...but was too busy experimenting. Because of our curious nature...Naga is going to awake for the first time...in a very long time," Zero said before his form shivered. "Something I hope would never happen again,"
"Will we be recreating the Armada of Silence and Power once more?" Omega questioned.
"Yes. It is time that we bring about the true meaning of Braga's namesake. The Armada of the Night is powerful...but compared to the Armada of Silence and Power...it is nothing more than a plaything," Zero notified before his form started to fade away. "While the Construct Sentinels are doing their part...put your efforts into constructing your body...you will need it for later."
-Month Later-
As time went on all four planets Braga wished to protect had fallen under the Empires hand even though Mandalore held out the longest but eventually fell. Lost Faith flew toward Mygeeto revealing a large blockade around the planet. Looking down at the planet it could be seen that it was scorched due to the constant bombardment with a base stationed. The Forerunner transport ship hovered over one of the Star destroyers before releasing a mass of jammer Sentinels to begin jamming all Imperial vessels. Once their ships were jammed, Lost Faith started to charge all four of its ion beam cannons before focusing fire on the Star Destroyer's bridge.
"There vessels, shields, and weapons are so primitive? What fun," The Forerunner spoke with a smirk over his lips and hands behind his back as he watched the bridge of the ship turn to ash followed by the rest of its form beginning to explode on itself as the Ion Beam pierced through the ship and split it in half. "Eradicate them,"
"As you command...High Commander Naga," Alpha responded before firing all four Ion Beam Cannons again.
As the four Ion Beams slammed into the Star Destroyers Bridges, Naga simply watched as the shields broke before being cleaved in two just like the first Imperial ship. Once the Star Destroyers were taken care of, the Ion Beam Cannons focused on the next largest spacecraft. While Lost Faith was tasked with dealing with the remaining Imperial ships, Naga had exited from the transport vessel and started to descend to the ground. It took no longer than five minutes to reach the ground and land in front of the Imperial base with heavy vehicles and infantry surrounding the Forerunner.
Unlike Braga, Naga's armor was crimson red while he had his hands placed behind his back as he scanned his surroundings. Part of his shoulder armor broke off and shifted itself into a Promethean blade while two hard-light shields levitated around Naga.
"Surrender Braga, you'" The clone trooper responded in which Naga merely chuckled at this.
"All I am surrounded by is fear...and dead men," Naga replied with a chuckle as two hard-light shields appeared.
Once the hard-light shields formed, the Imperial army all started to open fire on the Forerunners position while his hard-light shield rapidly spun around his form. As the Hard-light shields flew around Naga to protect him, most of his armor broke off to morph into seventy-nine Promethean, some stayed to protect the Forerunner while the others flew out to eliminate any marked Imperials. Even the AT-TE's could do nothing as the hard-light shields deflected their heavy projectiles either back at the attacker or their ally. The battle moved from outside the base and slowly began to move into the building leaving nothing but death and ruin around him while his hands remained unmoved.
"Now why would I be here and not Braga I wonder?" Naga asked himself before entering a long hallway seeing a full squad of heavy clone troopers firing at the Forerunners position only to be blocked by his hard-light shield.
A holo-screen appeared in front of Naga revealing the Lurmen being bombarded by the Empire causing the Forerunner to stop in his tracks and watch the massacre before him.
"That explains it. They massacred innocent lives with no fear of what may come of it..." Naga said with a heavy sigh before chuckling a second later. "The Eternal Night comes for all…no matter how innocent or evil one is,"
Naga continued to walk forward while watching his Promethean blades fly past his form and cut down the heavy squad in front of him. As the troopers were being cut down, Naga found himself in the control room of the base leaving only a few of the troopers alive as well as their commanding officer.
"So tell me...what did you hope to gain by taking this planet and killing its inhabitants?" Naga asked looking between the seven survivors. "I would highly advise you do not try anything stupid,"
Just as Naga finished his warning, one of the troopers moved out of the Forerunner weapons range only to be followed by the same blade and run through. Naga saw this and sighed while turning his attention to the remaining six clients.
"Anyone else?" Naga asked looking between the survivors who remained still. "Now...who is the commander of this base?"
Naga simply waited to see no clone give out the commander earning an annoyed sigh from the Forerunner who nodded his head in understanding. Without a second thought, Naga swayed his left hand causing one of the blades to pierce another clone trooper through the chest.
"Braga would never do such a thing!" The commander shouted which gave himself away causing one of the Promethean blades to shift into a claw and wrap around his neck.
"You're right. Braga would not do that," Naga spoke as the Promethean Claw started to pull the commander toward the Forerunner. "...but I would. Unlike Braga. I have no morale to stop me. That is what makes us so different. There are lines Braga will not cross. While I will cross any line to achieve victory," Naga explained before looking at the remaining troopers. "Now...what makes this planet so valuable that you would send a large fleet to take it?"
The commander merely gritted his teeth before Naga scuffed and threw him into a wall only to be pinned in place.
"Answer my questions or your troopers die. Your choice," Naga spoke turning his attention to the five soldiers still alive.
He remained silent before Naga nodded his head causing his Promethean blade to pierce another clone trooper. The sound of his corpse hitting the ground caught the attention of the commander who glared at Naga.
"We don't know anything. Our only orders were to take Mygeeto," The commander answered earning a nod from Naga.
"...is that so...so it is probably a tactical strategy," Naga commented as he turned his back on the commander while the rest of the clone troopers were killed. "Well played,"
"What is the meaning of this?! You said.." The commander shouted only to be stopped as his mouth was covered by another Forerunner piece.
"I said you would watch them die...never once did I say I would let them live...now did I?" Naga asked glancing over his shoulder at the Clone Commander. "I am not Braga...and I never will,"
Naga narrowed his eyes as the claw around the commander's neck shifted back into a blade and beheaded clone. With the commander dead, he chuckled before turning his attention to the front while his armor reconnected with his body.
"How goes space Alpha?" Naga asked as a screen opened in front of the Forerunner revealing the entire fleet was decimated with Lost Faith untouched.
"All hostile targets have been eliminated, High Commander Naga," Alpha responded while making his way to planet side.
"Good...now...where to next?" Naga asked with a grin as Lost Faith landed in front of the Forerunner.
"There will be no next," Zero spoke as Naga's armor released a powerful shock wave causing Naga to groan in pain before falling to his hands and knees gritting his teeth. "Auto-Initiating Code Slumber,"
"Code...Slumber?!" Naga questioned as he looked at Lost Faith to see Zero in his Eternal form looking down at him.
"A code that Braga placed me under command after you have dealt with all hostiles on a planet," Zero explained as the Cryptum floated out of Lost Faith. "One that forces you to enter your prison once more,"
"No...not again. I...will not allow this!" Naga shouted as he struggled to get back to his feet.
"You have no control over me Naga...and you never will," Zero spoke as the Forerunner's helmet slide down revealing his blood-red eyes.
Naga continued to get chocked by his armor before finally giving in to the pain and passing out. With Naga knocked out, Zero sighed and took hold of the unconscious Forerunner to slip him into the Cryptum. Once the Forerunner was completely engulfed by the Cryptum, Zero watched as it would float into Lost Faith before following behind it only to stop and glance over his shoulder at the base in ruins.
"This galaxy is not ready to face Naga the Eternal Night...not yet..." Zero spoke narrowing his eyes before entering the transport ship.
"Commander Zero, how long will Naga sleep?" Alpha asked earning a heavy sigh from Zero who shrugged.
"Hopefully not too long. This galaxy still needs him," Zero spoke as Lost Faith lifted itself off the ground and made its way back to Salvation II.
-Salvation I & II location-
Zero stood in the communications room with his head from floating around to check on the progress of all the other races before Ventress walked in looking around for the Forerunner.
"Zero. Where is Master Braga? I have news to relay to him personally," Ventress asked looking at Zero while leaning on her left side.
"Brother Braga is currently not here at the moment," Zero spoke keeping his attention on the screens in front of him. "What news is so important that you wished to tell him in person?"
"...that is for Braga's ears only," Ventress spoke crossing her arms under her bust.
"Brother Braga and I are one of the same. I hear what he hears and vice versa," Zero responded before turning around to face Ventress allowing the holo-screen to fade away.
"I wish to become Braga's guard," Ventress said before raising her head slightly.
"You wish to be Braga's guard?" Zero questioned as he floated in front of Ventress leaving only a five-foot gap between the two. "You are far too weak to be a personal guard for Brother Braga,"
Ventress glared at Zero before he flew backward with a holo-screen appearing in front of the Dathomirian. In front of her revealed Naga standing at a ruined Imperial base unharmed and amusement in his eyes.
"This is Naga the Eternal Night. Founder of the Armada of the Night as well as the reason why Braga is not here," Zero explained while Ventress unfolded her arms and took hold of the holo-screen looking at Naga up and down.
"How long ago?" Ventress asked looking up at Zero.
"...an hour ago. It took Naga half an hour to wipe out every single person in this base," Zero pointed out earning a scuff from Ventress.
"I can see Braga doing the same thing," Ventress spoke only to hear chuckling from the AI.
"You have a lot to learn Ventress. If that was Braga, he would take his time to eliminate the personal in the base," Zero said as the holo-screen in the Dathomirian played a video of how Naga was clearing the base.
"What is that?" Ventress asked pointing at the Promethean blades flying about the hallway and slaughtering clone troopers with ease.
"Promethean blade. Weapons made by me before Braga came to be. These blades are just like lightsabers minus the drawback of its handle being destroyed," Zero explained as a holographic image of all the Promethean blades formed around Ventress who could not help but look at them.
"How can he control so many of these at once?" Ventress asked before looking up to see the small Cryptum floating in the middle of the room. "Is that where Master is?"
"AI interface and yes that is where Brother Braga is. He is resting right now," Zero answered as the holograms slowly faded away. "Now...aside from that...what other news do you bring,"
"Is there anything I can do to help around the base?" Ventress asked looking around.
"No. The Sentinel Engineers, as well as my knowledge, are more than enough to keep The Night stable," Zero answered.
"What about the Empire?" Ventress asked glaring at Zero while gripping her hands into fists.
"What about the Empire? They beat The Night due to our ineffective resources. And without Braga...the only thing we can do is prepare the Armada of Silence and Power," Zero answered before turning around and facing Ventress once more. "Until then...the best you can do Ventress is get stronger and build your reputation in the galaxy with your team. We understand our mistakes and underestimated our enemy. That..will not happen again. Unlike our previous armada...this one will consist of nothing but sentinels. All built for certain tasks just like the Engineers, jammers, and Assault,"
"And what will these sentinels be?" Ventress questioned.
Zero was about to answer until the Cryptum overhead started to descend to the ground which immediately gained both the AI's attention as well as the Dathomirian. The Cryptum opened up revealing a tired Braga with his armor connecting with his body and turning a soft sky blue while. Seeing the color of the Forerunner's armor as a soft blue, Zero instantly constructed his whole body while Ventress rushed over to help Braga up to his feet to the best of her ability. Braga sighed heavily while opening his eyes and seeing not only Zero in his warden body but also Ventress.
"Why are you here Ventress?" Braga asked looking at the Dathomirian.
"I wished to be your bodyguard," Ventress spoke only to see Braga sigh softly and shake his head slowly.
"You are not strong enough to become my bodyguard Ventress...if you want to prove yourself capable of becoming my protector then you would have to defeat Zero in his full body," Braga spoke earning a nod from Ventress.
"Then tell me what the Armada of Silence and Power is?" Ventress asked moving out of Braga's reach to now stand in front of him with her hands on her hips.
"I told her parts of the Armada but not everything," Zero spoke before Braga nodded his head.
"I owe you that much since I could not protect your home world as I said I would..." Braga replied before facing Ventress once more. "Just as Brother Zero explained...it is an Armada comprised of only sentinels. Nothing else,"
Braga raised his left hand upward creating holographic symbols of five sentinels. The first being a small ball of fire, the second being a woman screaming, the third being a cloaked male, the fourth being a skull with a scythe, and the last being a destroyed world.
"The only sentinel that will not be changed is the Engineers as they will be helping us enhance and build the new Armada...or to be more accurate...one of the few armadas feared in the entire Forerunner Navy," Zero explained.
"Each sentinel has a role to play within the Armada to be," Braga spoke finally getting to his feet and crossing his arms over his chest sighing.
Wisp, Banshee, Revenant, Reaper, and Ruin. These sentinels each match a symbol placed onto them. Just press one and it will give you the answers you seek," Braga spoke looking at the symbols before Ventress.
Ventress blinked at this before pressing the small fireball symbol causing it to grow in size to reveal it was the size of her head.
"Wisp. No weapons. Equipment, Active Camouflage. Role, scout," The AI spoke up earning a smirk from Ventress.
"A scout?" Ventress questioned looking up at Braga.
"Knowledge is power. Remember that well Ventress," Braga spoke.
Ventress nodded and looked back at the symbol watching as it shrank before she pressed the next symbol which was the woman screaming.
"Banshee. No weapons. Equipment, Active Camouflage. Role, jammer and or hacker," the AI spoke once more.
"This I understand," Ventress commented before moving to the next symbol after the banshee shrank like the Wisp revealing a sentinel six feet tall.
Revenant. Weapon, sentinel beam. Equipment, Active Camouflage and Promethean Vision," The AI continued.
"Promethean Vision?" Ventress repeated with a raised brow.
"Equipment that allows the user to see through objects to find enemies, even those who are invisible," Zero answered.
"Interesting," Ventress commented and allowed the Revenant symbol to shrink.
"These last two sentinels...I was hoping I would never have to use them anymore," Braga whispered while sighing heavily.
"It cannot be helped, Brother Braga. You will need all the help you can get. Although you have not been a part of the Forerunner-Flood war...our minds are one. I have shared everything I knew of the war from the beginning...to the end," Zero said earning a nod from Braga.
"Although it is different from what I am used to...the only difference is that they do not have anything organic within them. Everything else...is the same," Braga said closing his eyes.
"Then I shall continue," Ventress spoke with a smirk while pressing the next symbol revealing its name to be placed as a Reaper.
...To Be Continued
