I had a lot of fun writing this chapter honestly.

Chapter 4

Ratchet messaged Wrench to join him and summoned him using the dimensionator. "When you said you needed me to help I wasn't expecting right now." Wrench said as he stretched "I was taking a nap" he said "She came here…today." Ratchet spoke and Wrench's eyes widened "SEE! I TOLD YOU! I told you homie she was gon come back!" he said as he and Ratchet got in the cruiser to make way for Talwyn's home.

At Talwyn's residence, Tiffany was applying makeup to Talwyn. The makeup was dark in it's nature and gave Talwyn a mysterious and seductive look. "Perfection." she said and Talwyn looked in the mirror to see the look. "I wouldn't say perfect…." Talwyn said "Then what would you call it?!" Tiffany said annoyed that her fellow markazian didn't like the look. "Not me…" Talwyn said "Look sista…" Tiff started and she pulled Talwyn to face her. "That blind ass lombax is in love with another woman…" she started but was cut off "But he loves me too!" Talwyn argued "You don't know that! So you gotta wrestle him away from the girl he's seeing now and to do that, you gotta make him want you." Tiff said turning Talwyn back to the mirror "This just doesn't seem like me though Tiff." Talwyn said looking at herself once more as Tiff pulled out a curling iron and began to curl Talwyn's long hair

"This isn't me, this isn't me!" she said in a mocking tone "YOU aren't gonna win him back by just crying that you still love him. You gotta take him back!" Tiff said and she put the curling iron down and looked in Talwyn's eyes once more. "Sweet lover girl Talwyn is gone, you need to be a bad bitch. Are you a bad bitch Talwyn Apogee?!" Tiffany asked and Talwyn sat in thought for a moment. "Do it." She said and Tiffany smiled with a sinister looking grin.

SONG: Up (Cardi B)

"This is fire!" Tiff sang along to a song that came on the holomusic player and turned it up as she began a drastic transformation of Talwyn.

"I said my face bomb, abs tight! Racks stack up Shaq Height…."

Tiffany pulled out a set of darker makeup and began applying an eyeshadow to Talwyn. When she finished she took the hair she just curled and applied a dye to it, turning Talwyn's hair from brown to jet black.

"I been lit since last night. Hit him with that good, good. Make you wanna act right."

She then quickly dried the dye and recurled the hair "I know that's right!" Tiff smiled at her work as she then began applying nail polish to Talwyn, also black "Are you turning me into a goth?" Talwyn asked "Jesus, no." Tiff responded as she continued to apply the polish. Lastly Tiffany applied the reddest lip gloss anyone had ever seen it was a blend between candy red and cinnabar greatly bringing out Talwyn's apricot skin, complimenting her blue eyes, and somehow contrasting perfectly with the large amount of black eye makeup

"If it's up then it's up, then it's up then it's stuck."

Tiffany turned Talwyn to the mirror and Talwyn looked at herself, and wasn't sure whether or not to smile at the change in her look "Take it in….you're bad now…" Tiff grinned before wrapping her arm around Talwyn and whispering "You have the look…of a homewrecker…" Tiff then left Talwyn to look at her new self, Talwyn simply staring in the mirror, still not knowing how to feel.

"Look, Gotta play it safe, no face, no case. Hahaha…."

Rivet was sitting, watching the holovision with Kit. "How are things with Ratchet?" The little yellow robot asked and Rivet shrugged. "Fine. We're supposed to go to dinner tonight. Hope he hasn't forgotten with all this stuff about Talwyn." Rivet said "Ratchet is really organized, he wouldn't forget something with you." Kit said and Rivet smiled softly. "Thanks, Kit." she said and her holophone recieved a message. Rivet picked up the device and looked at it. She then ignored the message and placed down the holophone.

"Everything okay?" Kit asked looking at the manner in which Rivet placed down the holophone. She looked clearly annoyed, yet upset with whatever message she got. "I'll be right back." Rivet said getting up and going down the hall. Out of curiousity, Kit reached for the holophone, and picked it up. Just as she picked it up it began ringing. Kit quickly looked back to see if Rivet was coming. She looked at the device to see who was calling.

The caller ID read "Slayton". Kit was not familiar with the name. She placed down the phone just as Rivet re-entered the room "You got a call." Kit said as Rivet joined her on the couch. Rivet didn't bother looking at her holophone. "Don't you wanna see who called you?" Kit asked and was met with no response from Rivet. "Rivet?" Kit asked "Leave it alone Kit." She said in an annoyed and dismissive tone. "Okay…." Kit said respecting the female lombax's request.

Ratchet and Wrench arrived at the house. "This is it." Ratchet said getting out of the cruiser followed by Wrench "Hang back here, she won't be as communicating if she sees i'm not alone. Ratchet said as he walked up the steps and rang the doorbell. The door was opened remotely, meaning Talwyn was most likely occupied. Ratchet was familiar when she would do this when they were dating. Upon entering the house, it had a smoky smell. "She doesn't smoke…" Ratchet said to himself and he pulled out his holophone. "Change of plans Wrench, get in here…" Ratchet said and Wrench nodded

"On my way holmes." He said and as soon as he stepped on Talwyn's property, Vane arose from a hiding spot. The enormous robot towered over Wrench, eyes glowing red. "Woah…woah woah woah! Hold on now!" Wrench said hanging up the holophone. Vane blocked the path to the front door. "PERSONAL SECURITY." Vane bellowed and Wrench nodded "I'm with the guy who just walked through the front door, so you know…why don't you just, you know? Pass me through holmes. Ya feel me? Word." Wrench said and he started to walk around Vane who used his hand to block Wrench's path.

"Aw, you gon be like that? How much to get you to look the other way man?" Wrench asked backing up. "Bolts or credit?" Vane entertained Wrench "I actually have bolts in my cruiser, I can get it right now and…" Wrench cut himself off and tried to run around Vane again but the large robot continued to block his path. Wrench tried to do a spin move, which vane matched as he continued to block the crimson furred lombax's path. Wrench then tried to juke the large robot, who matched the energy and continued to block Wrench. The brolic lombax then tried to jump over Vane's hand, with the robot simply raising his hand up to block Wrench again. "OH COME ON!" Wrench said in fustration.

Back inside Ratchet was confused that Wrench hadn't shown up. However, he did not wish to wait any longer, and he investigated the smoky smell in the house, leading him to the back room "Talwyn." He said upon seeing a markazian woman, with her back turned sitting and smoking " Talwyn…" Ratchet repeated. "This needs to stop, Now." He said with all the confidence he could muster up. "Aww, that was so cute, that sense of false confidence." The markazian stood up and turned. It wasn't Talwyn, it was Tiffany.

"Who are you?" Ratchet said and Tiffany took out of her mouth the thing she was smoking "Name's Tiffany, You smoke?" She offered handing Ratchet the thing which had an appearance that was half cig, half vape. "No…Where's Talwyn?" Ratchet asked "TAL! Ratchet's here!" Tiff called up the stairs "I'll just see myself out…" Tiffany said and as she left, her tail slapped the holomusic player turning it on.

SONG: Lost in Paradise (Ali)

Ratchet looked and was mesmerized with what he saw. Talwyn was already beautiful, but whatever she did to herself, she looked even more enticing. "Tal…" Ratchet said as he looked at the markazian who seemed shy. "What…what did you do?" Ratchet was struggling to maintain his composure. "Do…do you like it?" Talwyn asked "It's nice, but Tal…this needs to stop." Ratchet started "You can't keep coming over like you are." Ratchet said and Talwyn looked over at the holomusic player "We used to dance to this….dance with me?" Talwyn asked

"Tokyo prison, i'm going to relight your feelings…."

Ratchet looked at Talwyn, who inched closer, and allowed Ratchet to take in the scent of her perfume. "Dance with me." She said seductively. "Tal…this…isn't you." Ratchet said and suddenly his holophone went off. He checked and saw it was Rivet. "Hey." He answered "Are we still going out tonight?" She asked and before Ratchet could respond, Talwyn took the holophone and placed it by the music player, with Rivet still on the line "HELLO?" Rivet spoke nervously now that she heard the music "Dance with me." Talwyn said to Ratchet, blocking the path to the phone.

"Woo-ooo-ooo-oo-oo-oo"

Back outside, Wrench was still actively trying to get past Vane running to a corner then running in place for a moment before trying to dart between Vane's legs, only for the robot to jump back and block the path with both hands.

"Woo-ooo-ooo-oo-oo-oo"

Tiffany stepped outside "Personal security honey. Don't you love him? I love him." she said "Listen you Markazian bimbo, i'm getting in there." Wrench said "Mhm. And I can fly." Tiffany mocked "You're never getting past him." she said "I'm not getting past him? WATCH THIS!" Wrench said and he jumped over Vane's hands only for the robot to spin around his torso, resulting in his hands blocking the path infront of Wrench. "Still watching." Tiffany said with a giggle.

"Ratchet please pick up the phone…" Rivet said as she was forced to listen to the song playing. "Just one dance…" Talwyn said and she got extremely close to Ratchet.

"Woo-ooo-ooo-oo-oo-oo"

Ratchet was quickly getting lost in Talwyn's colorful eyes. "Lost in paradise yet?" Talwyn said planting a soft peck on Ratchet. That had done it. The lombax gave in and began dancing with Talwyn, the two embracing in a type of dirty dancing. The two being sexually provacative with their body movements to the song. "Lost in paradise, night and day are fading out." Meanwhile, Rivet was starting to have a panic attack. She fought to reaffirm herself. "It's okay. You're okay Rivet. He's with you. He's with you." she said and she held the phone up again "Ratchet please say something…" She said shakily.

"Woo-ooo-ooo-oo-oo-oo"

Outside the house, Wrench ran up and did a frontflip over Vane's hand only to be pulled back by the robot's other hand. "OH MY…COME ON!" he said in fustration while Tiff laughed.

"Lost in paradise, night and day are fading out."

As Talwyn and Ratchet danced closely, Ratchet was leading the dance and inching closer to his phone

"Lost in paradise, night and day are fading out. Keep on dancing now."

Ratchet finally reached the phone and grabbed it as the song was ending "Hey hey hey hey hey…." Talwyn had turned to kiss Ratchet but quickly realized the lombax had ran out the door. "Ratchet?" She said confusedly. "RIVET?!" Ratchet finally spoke on the phone "Where were you…" She answered tearfully. "I'm on way home right now!" Ratchet quickly said and hung up. His heart was racing, as he ran down the steps past Tiffany and Vane "Wrench, come on!" Ratchet said running past the larger lombax "This isn't over…." Wrench pointed at Vane, who remained emotionless. Wrench then quickly followed Ratchet "Man, you are the worst wingman ever!" Ratchet said annoyed "Did you not see that linebacker she had guarding the door holmes?!" Wrench said as the two got in the cruiser and made way back to Ratchet's house.

Ratchet entered the home, followed by Wrench to see a clearly shaken up Rivet. "Riv…" Ratchet said and the female shuffled away from him. "Did you forget about our reservations?" Rivet asked "No….No Riv…I…" Ratchet said and Rivet held up her holophone, showing that the couple had lost their reservation. "What?! HOW?!" Ratchet said looking at the phone. "CAUSE YOU WERE WITH HER!" Rivet cried

"I WAS LOST IN PARADISE, ALRIGHT?!" Ratchet poorly defended. Rivet shook her head annoyed while Wrench chimed "And now yo dinner's lost in the trash" He laughed and Ratchet looked at him "Stupid! DUMMY! You look stupid with that response!" Wrench laughed and the joke got a small giggle out of Rivet. "Thanks for trying to get me to laugh…but go home Wrench." Rivet said and Wrench nodded

"I was there, he was talking to her, I can vouch! It just took longer than we thought!" Wrench said as Rivet signaled him to leave. The large lombax then headed to the room with the dimensionator and departed. "We can't let her…get in the way of us…." Rivet said and Ratchet pulled her into a hug. "I'm sorry I let her mess up an evening that was for us." Ratchet said as the two embraced. "Well at least she won't come back…" Rivet said breaking the hug. "Yeah…" Ratchet said "How about I go make us dinner instead?" Ratchet said and Rivet nodded with a soft smile. "I'd love that." She said and Ratchet made way to the kitchen. Rivet's holophone went off once more. She looked and saw another message from Slayton. She sighed and pocketed the device.

IT'S SLAYTON...Who is Slayton?!

Is Tiffany shaping up to be the actual antagonist? Why is she marching around with a personal security machine like Vane?

She's also a terrible influence on poor Talwyn it seems.

Ratchet/Rivet fans, the couple is finally gonna get some quality time real soon, what we've all been waiting for.
