Definition
A boy of 11, once passed through these doors
Now he leaves a man
A man who had to fight a battle
Cause of a scar
The scar that made him legendary
But took away his parents
And now nearly 16 years later the battle is over and won
At the cost of friends and family and everything in between
His eyes once a vibrant green
Are now dull
And have lost the spark they once had
Now they are almost as black as the nights sky
Reflecting the pain and grief he feels inside
But will never show out of selflessness
His actions always show courage and bravery
And they give others the strength to go on
But his actions also hold vulnerability
Which he never experienced as a child
The man he is today is not shaped by fame, glory or money, but of determination to not be what everyone expects of. But rather a person who never experienced love. Until he was told the truth about himself, then he encountered something he had never known exsisted. Friendship. Loyality. Sacrifice. And ultimately love.
He now leaves a man who is loved and who can love back with no reservations
And is not afraid of waking up in the morning and living his life to the full with a family he deserves and now has of his own.
