VERY IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!
I did some thinking and realized… ACT 1 was not my best work. And yeah, I know I said I was just gonna move forward and work with what I gave myself, but, well…
Canon RWBY has lots of problems, and I took very few steps to address that early on. I just stuck to the structure it gave me. As a result, NGA as it is doesn't really feel like my own story, just "canon RWBY but it's a shitpost. Oh, and Harry Potter is there".
That being said, I did have huge plans to diverge wildly around ACT 3. It was gonna be great, but it would work even better if I actually set up the beginning to better support the later arcs. So that's what I'm gonna do.
Now, I'll be the first to admit that getting an update that's just "gonna rewrite this, sorry" fucken SUCKS, so I actually have the first chapter of the rewrite out already! It's called "Bring A Wand To A Knife-Gun Fight" and I should have it posted before dropping this update here.
And second, there were a few arcs that didn't make it into the rewrite. I have been told by Doobly that it would be a crime to rob the world of my "Your Dog Is Haunted" arc, so I will be writing more for this. Eventually.
TLDR: I'm gonna rewrite this series.
