Divesto

Harry sat on the couch in the common room in Gryffindor Tower. He flipped through the pages of his potions book that had once belonged to a student called the Half-Blood Prince. He had tried the Levicorpus spell, and it had flipped his best friend upside down. That had been hilarious, but suddenly he felt sick when he remembered the quidditch world cup when the death eaters were torturing female muggles with that spell. Then there was the incident in the bathroom with Malfoy. This book was filled with spells from a person who was angry all the time. He looked at the cover of the book instead. It was only published less then twenty years ago. Voldemort had long since graduated before this book was published. It was someone else. There must have been someone who was there that thought as darkly has the dark lord. His father must have been a teenager. Harry's thoughts suddenly turned towards Pettigrew. Surely not, Peter was ruthless, but he was also not smart enough to create his own spells like this. There was surely someone else.

Harry flipped though the book again. He found an inscription on a page somewhere in between the love potions and in scribbled letters it wrote Revelio. Being the brave fearless Gryffindor that he was, he pointed his wand at the page and said, "Revelio". A word replaced Revelio. The word was Divesto. Underneath the spell was the word unspoken was scribbled underneath. Believing that no one was in the room, Harry said in his head, "Divesto"

"Ahhhhhh" People were screaming. Harry did not realize that other people had suddenly entered the room, and now they were naked. Among them was Ron, his best friend, who was doing his best to cover himself with a couch cushion. Hermione was hiding behind the couch next to Ginny. Neville and Dean were just using their book bags to hide. There seemed to be a contest to see whose face could turn redder. Ron was probably winning that contest with his red hair. Hermione was the first one to speak, "Harry, umm… you might want to… you know."

Harry looked down and quickly used his book to cover himself. He was suddenly in the red face competition. He used his book bag to cover his chest, He used his hands to dig inside his book bag and pulled out his invisibility cloak. He scrunched it up like a ball and tossed it to the girls, "you can use that to get upstairs. Just don't stare at us." Harry turned his head a little, first to cover his face which he was sure was burning and second so he could avoid looking at the girls.

When the girls left, the boys in the room ran for their dorm and each locked themselves behind their curtains to dress. Harry found his clothes from earlier folded neatly on his bed, "Next time Harry, make sure you are alone before you try anymore spells from that book. Oh God, I can't believe she saw me like that."

Harry opened the book again to see that a secret page had been revealed when he used the Divesto spell. The page was lit up in pink, and at the top it said, "To use when with a lover."

Harry was suddenly more curious than ever about who the actual Half-Blood Prince was.
