In Brockton Bay a forgotten side character's trigger event ends with him linked to the Celestial Forge rather than his intended shard. His expanding collection of tinker abilities drag him into the city's cape conflicts.

When Taylor realized just what her Tinker power was trying to tell her, she had to make a choice. Does she risk making a possibly genocidal AI so she can make a difference in the world? Or does she continue to exist as the personal chewtoy of the universe? The choice was easily made.

A young thief who has basically raised herself until now, she's suddenly being forced to grow up while grappling with recently gained superpowers... not to mention the gangs she pissed off getting them. At least she's got the city's lone crew of mercenaries at her back.

Inspired by Brockton's Celestial Forge and Tinker of Fiction. A great lover of the Celestial Forge, he renounces living his dreams as a writer, but struck by the inspiration, he begins to write his original story, for an unknown reason, it ends up inside the body of the newly created character. Good part has owns the Celestial Force,the bad part finds himself as Taylor's cousin.

Lauren, a 13 year old inhabitant of the notorious Brockton Bay, triggers with a very unusual power. She can hold multiple powers, but has no control over what they are. Some even seem to actively hinder her. Will she be able to become a hero that makes her young siblings proud and keep her city safe? Or will she get backstabbed by her own powers before she gets anything done?
