Part 1
Harry woke up, annoyed by the sunlight streaming from between the curtains, he got up and closed them. Ginny must have opened them because he was sure he closed them last night. He looked back at the bed and saw that Ginny's side was empty, and he was sure that he knew where she was.
He got up and went towards the kitchen and smiled as he saw that Ginny, like every Friday morning, was sitting with a cup of tea and reading her favorite magazine, Witch Weekly. He walked towards her and sat on the chair next to her, said good morning, and kissed her cheek before starting to make breakfast. Ginny, finished with the article she was reading went over to help her husband. While making breakfast together she started talking about the recent news and all the latest celebrity gossip from the magazine.
Harry loved everything about her, the way her eyes light up when she spoke, the way she stopped mid-sentence to add her own comment, and that once she started talking no force on earth could stop her. As each day passed in the 30 years they were married, his love for her only got stronger. Even though they were getting older, to Harry, Ginny had never looked more beautiful.
As they were eating breakfast and Ginny was talking, an owl came through the open window. It was from the ministry, Hermione to be more specific. Harry opened the letter and his brows furrowed while he was reading and Ginny understood that it was something serious. As soon as he finished reading it ''They need us at the Ministry, immediately.'' he said to Ginny. She didn't know what was happening and she didn't like that, but judging from her husband's tone this was something important, she couldn't waste time. She started to get ready as fast as she can.
They were at the ministry in about ten minutes. They go directly to Hermione's office, where she is already waiting for them. As soon as they enter ''What does this all mean Hermione?'' says Harry, not being able to keep the anger out of his voice completely.
''Would someone tell me what's going on already?'' says Ginny, frustrated from not being told anything.
Hermione answers calmly, although she is anything but ''There's been another muggle attack.''. Her eyes were filled with sadness, and both Harry and Ginny can tell she blames herself for all of this.
Ginny goes next to Hermione and hugs her '' Hermione this isn't your fault, don't blame yourself.''.
''You're right, we don't have time to waste on this right now,'' says Hermione straightening up, ''Harry, you can go to the auror office ı sent a full report to your desk, and Ginny, I have to ask you not to report this on the prophet.''
Harry nods and starts walking towards the auror office at a fast pace.
''Of course Hermione. Is there anything I can help with?'' Ginny asked her.
''I don't think there is anything for now Ginny.''
She nods and leaves.
