Somewhere in Ylisse
In a place called the Wyvern Valley, we head towards another town getting harassed by another group bandits led by a man.
The man has an uncanny appearance with a thinning-slicked back reddish-brown hair, he has a pair of small-dotted red eyes and a purple line mark across his nose. He wears a dragon-themed shoulder armor with lavender-colored spikes and suspender-like straps across his chest, he wears a dark-brown detached arm-sleeves wrapped with dirty-brown tapes, a red-colored waist cape with dark-brown furred waistline over a brown pants and red & silver-colored armored boots. This is Morristan.
"Send the new "recruits" along, then get to rounding up another half dozen or so." Morristan ordered.
"W-wait, what are you doing?!" an elder demanded.
"Just what it looks like." Morristan replied, "A wyvern rider without a wyvern to sit on is just a bloke in a lizard hat." he stated.
"Wyverns are the sacred protectors of this land, not glorified horses to be muzzled!" the elder reasoned.
Morristan glared at the elder, "I'd muzzle you, had I the time." he uttered in annoyance, "As it stands, I'll take a quicker path to quiet." he said with a grin, "G'night!" he declared before slashing the elder with his weapon.
"Gwargh!" the elder gasped before falling down to the ground dead.
The villagers were horrified of what the bandit had done, "N-no...!" a woman uttered.
"Run!" a man shouted.
And with that, the villagers began to run for their lives, "Your orders, sir?" one bandit asked.
Morristan thought about it, "If word spreads, it'll only get more tedious." he stated, "Sooo... yes." he said with a grin, "Better just kill everyone." he declared.
Meanwhile just outside the area, we see Chrom's group and the AWA gang approaching the entrance path to the Wyvern Valley.
"You know, she's been opening up about her life, and she's actually been really supportive about mine." Rin Toosaka shared.
EMIYA raised an eyebrow, "Really?" he questioned.
Rin nodded, "Yeah." she confirmed, "I've been telling her about my job and she said she was proud of me." she stated with a grin.
"Well, that's great." EMIYA complimented, "Never told me she was proud of me." he uttered in annoyance, "Even when I stayed dry for a whole month." he furthered.
"What the fuck are even talking about?" Rin questioned.
Chrom then noticed the road ahead of them, "Where does this road lead?" he asked.
Frederick then checks the map, "To Wyvern Valley, milord." he answered, "Home to Valm's greatest feral wyvern population." he explained.
"That sounds... interesting." Chrom admitted, "We'll have to be sure and keep our distance." he advised.
Cherche sighed, "Shame." she uttered, "My Minerva's fit to burst." she shared, "She's excited when others of her kind are near." she stated.
Chrom then stares at Cherche's wyvern, "She doesn't look that excited to me." he commented, "Not that I can really tell the difference..." he admitted.
Cherche perked up, "Oh, it's easy." she replied, "She just looks even cuter than normal." she said before petting her wyvern, "Don't you, girl? Don't you look cuter? Who's a goooood wyvern?!" she cooed.
"I don't see any reactions from her pet lizard with wings." Kenji Kazama uttered with a blank look.
Chrom chuckled nervously, "L-Let's just leave it to her then..." he advised.
Meanwhile at another part of the valley, we see a young man walking alongside his wyvern when one villager approached him.
"Sir, over here!" the villager called out, "Please help!" he pleaded, "My friends will die if you don't!" he reasoned.
The young man has a red spiky hair and he wears a black & white domino mask. He wears a black body armor over a black longs-sleeve turtleneck tunic, he wears a black cape, black arm gauntlets and black arm gloves, black pants and black knee-high armored boots. This is Gerome.
Gerome turns to him, "No." he answered.
"Wh-what?! But, sir, my friends!" the villager exclaimed in shock.
"I'm not fit to fight for anyone." Gerome reasoned.
The villager then hung his head down, "Th-then... they're lost..." he uttered in despair.
But fortunately for the villager, Chrom's group and the AWA gang arrives just in time, Chrom immediately took notice of them.
"You there!" Chrom called out, "What's happened?" he asked.
The villager turns to them, "My people are fleeing for their lives from a pack of armed brigands, sir!" he explained, "And now we've gotten separated..." he confessed, "Oh, the horror of it all!" he cried out.
"Well, today's your lucky day." Chrom said, "We'll aid you and your friends." he declared.
The villager smiled in response, "You will?! Oh, thank you!" he cried in gratitude, "Please, sir! Give 'em what for!" he cheered.
Cherche then took notice of Gerome.
"Wait." Cherche uttered, "You're not one of the villagers." she pointed out.
Gerome shook his head, "No." he replied, "I am Gerome and I'm a traveler." he introduced himself.
Cherche smiled, "And a fellow wyvern rider, I see." she said gleefully, "This is a piece of good news!" she cheered, 'We fight to keep these villagers alive." she said, 'Will you aid us?" she asked.
"Why?" Gerome questioned, "No man can stop fate." he reasoned.
"These people will be killed by spears, traveler." Cherche reasoned, "And not fate." she furthered.
"Heh." Gerome scoffed, "Spoken like one who has yet to witness fate's implacable cruelty." he commented.
Cherche frowned, "So you do nothing, then, save wandering the land in the fog of cowardice?" she questioned, "And your wyvern?" she uttered, "Has she seen enough?" she asked, "Does she also yearn to surrender?" she furthered.
Gerome let's out a small smile, "You would know better than I." he commented.
Cherche raised an eyebrow, "What does that mean?" she asked.
Gerome shook his head, "Nothing." he replied, "I'll fight if you wish it." he complied, "Death will always have its due but perhaps it will accept a few substitutions." he stated before mounting on his wyvern, "Come, my dear Minerva." he beckoned, "Join me on one final flight..." he uttered.
And with that, Chrom's group and the AWA gang alongside Gerome made their way to the main part of the valley and were greeted by the sight of villagers running around for their lives while being chased by bandits.
"Wow! Look at them all scramble." Pit commented.
"And I don't like that..." Kenji uttered before hitting one bandit with his briefcase, "... scrambled." he uttered.
Chrom then brought out his sword, "All right! Take down every bandits in sight and make sure they don't harm any of the villagers!" he ordered.

As the Marines takes on some bandits, Momonga brought out his long sword and with one swing, he hits several bandits which were send flying in the air while Minoru Shiraishi wasted no time firing his rocket launcher towards a group of bandits which blasted them off the ground.
Gerome and his wyvern then began to circle around a bandit, "Embrace your fate!" he shouted before swooping down and then stabbing his lance on the bandit's chest, killing him on the process.
Severa charges towards one bandit with a hateful glare while aiming her sword at him before slashing the bandit twice and killed him by stabbing him on the chest while Cynthia held on tight as her pegasus charges towards one bandit before stabbing her iron lance at the bandit's chest, killing him.
Kjelle then charges towards a bandit with her lance raised up high before trotting towards her targets and then stabbing him on the chest, killing him in an instant while Brady raised his staff up high and charges it with magic before summoning down a lightning strike towards one bandit, shocking and killing him on the process.
Archer locked blades with one bandit and the servant easily overpowered his opponent by pushing them back and then slicing them with his blades which killed them instantly while Carol charges towards a group of bandits before distorting her body into a ball and sends out six nails behind her while the Buer Drive spins her forward, hitting and knocking down her targets on the process.
Carrot charges towards a group of bandits, the mink then charges up a ball of electricity with both hands and then slamming it into the ground before unleashing a wide-range blast which electrocuted all of her foes at once while Inigo brought out his swords and aims it at the bandit before charging forward and then stabbing his weapon on his target's chest, killing the bandit on the process.
Owain then clashes with the bandit with his weapon before empowering his weapon and then using it to take down the bandit, knocking him out while Henry then outstretched his arms forward before unleashing a powerful spell towards a bandit, blasting him to pieces.
Cherche and her wyvern then began to circle around a bandit before her wyvern swoops down and she follows this by smashing her axe at her target while Olivia charges towards another bandit with her eyes closed before slashing her target down with one swing of her sword.
Suzu Fujibayashi threw a dagger towards one bandit and got hit by a lighting bolt strike upon contact while Bruiser Khang activated an arte before charging at one bandit and hits him with a series of punches, knocking his target out.
Miles "Tails" Prower brought out a mechanized hand-gun before firing a powerful energy shot towards a group of bandits which blasted them off the ground while John Price fired his M4A1 carbine towards every bandits coming towards him.
Libra then charges towards a bandit before jumping up high and then follows this by bringing down his axe on his target while Tharja charges up magic in her hands before blasting one bandit to pieces with her black magic.
Gregor squats down while sizing up a bandit before charging towards his target and then jumping up high which is then followed by his axe decapitating the bandit while Nowi equipped herself with a Dragonstone and after a bright light engulfed her, she transforms into a lime-green colored dragon, she then spun around before glaring at her target before unleashing a powerful lightning strike towards a bandit, killing it in an instant.
Tsumugu Kinagase then threw a grenade towards a group of bandits which blasted them off the ground before tackling another bandit and he then kills his target by stabbing a knife on it's throat while Presea Combatir spins around vertically twice with her weapon outstretched which damages every enemies within her range.
Flavia charges towards a bandit, she then jumps up high before slicing a bandit in half with her sword while Basilio charges towards another bandit, he then jumps up high before smashing down his large axe on his target, killing him.
Cordelia held on tight to her pegasus as they flew towards their target, she then spins her steeled lance before stabbing her target on the chest while Lon'qu aimed his long sword at another bandit, he then charges towards his target before stabbing his weapon at the bandit's chest, killing him.
Kratos Aurion slams his weapon to the ground which created a shock wave and damages a group of bandits in a wide arc while Hisui Hearts charges forward before firing a large bullet of wind towards one bandit, killing his target upon impact.
Maribelle glares at one bandit before casting a lightning spell towards her target which blasted him to pieces while Ricken prepares a magical spell before firing it towards another bandit, making him burst into flames.
Shino Aburame calmly let's out a swarm of insects from his sleeves, the insects then quickly swarms themselves towards a group of bandits, pinning them all down on the ground while squirming in fear. One bandit then tried to strike Shino from behind but the shinobi simply dodges it and quickly punches the bandit on the face, knocking the bandit out.
Miriel charges up magic in her hands before a bolt of lighting strikes down on one bandit which killed her target on the process while Vaike squats down and sizes up another bandit before charging towards him, he then jumps up high before bringing down his axe on his target, killing the bandit down.
Sully charges forward while riding on her horse before swinging her Iron Lance and hitting her target on the head while Virion brought out his bow & arrow before aiming it at another bandit, he then proceeds to shoot his arrow towards his target, hitting his target directly on the head.
Kellam stomps his foot on the ground before glaring at another bandit, he then charges forward and jabs his lance towards his target which created a hole on his target's chest while Stahl charges forward while riding on his horse before swinging his Iron Sword and hits another bandit, killing him.
Asbel Lhant charges his blade with Ice-elemental energy and aims it towards one bandit, he then started to slash his target diagonally upward to right and then followed it by a diagonal downward slash to the right, creating an image of a frozen "X" which killed the bandit while Cheria Barnes had her right hand close to her chest, she then conjures a small blue mist over it and then follows this by firing two blue projectiles towards her targets and waving her right arm up, a blue trail following it in the air.
Sophie then pushes forward with a palm strike at one bandit, she then blasted him with a powerful force while Edwin "Ed" Horace Hill charges his fist with electricity before slamming it down to the ground, shocking every bandits within range.
Stahn Aileron charges forward and swung his sword at another bandit and immediately decapitates his target's head while Rutee Katrea charges towards another bandit, she then performs an upward slash in the air, hitting her target and then followed it by a diagonal slash that leads her back to the ground as the bandit crashes down to the ground.
Kor Meteor slashes his sword horizontally to the right and hits one bandit on the process while emitting a series of slashes at various angles upon the target and as this is going on, Rin Toosaka outstretched her arms forward before firing dark-red magical shots towards her targets, killing them one by one.
Ram and Rem works together by taking down every bandits on their paths, Ram then shoots out a slash of wind that cuts one bandit in half while Rem smashes her Morning Star down on one bandit's head, crushing it on the process.
Pit then began firing numerous arrows towards his targets, defeating them one by one. Pit then brought out a cannon and quickly fires it towards another group of bandits, blasting them off the ground while Rolf Van Kelamis & Viktor the Goat charges forward with the former bringing out a large hammer before smashing his weapon on every bandits on their path, knocking them all down and sending them flying on the process.
Ash Ketchum called out Pikachu and commanded his buddy to use thunderbolt towards a group of bandits, Pikachu complied before firing a shot towards their targets, electrocuting them on the process. As this is going on, Ryuuko Matoi is seen punching and kicking every bandits coming towards her, she then brought out her scissor blade before slicing down every bandits before her.
Gaius then charges towards a bandit with his Rogue Dagger in hands before slicing his target on the neck area while Panne holds up two knives before attacking another bandit, slicing and stabbing her target to death.
Frederick charges forward on his horse with his lance raised up high as his horse trotted it's way towards a bandit before stabbing down his lance on his target's chest while Robin charges her hands with magic before shooting out a magical beam towards another bandit, blasting her target to pieces.
Lissa brought up her staff before firing out a magical spell towards one bandit which caused an explosion, sending her target flying in the air while Donnel twirled the massive log above his head before charging forward and then thrusting the log towards another bandit with all his might before hitting his target square on the face, knocking him out cold.
Sumia held on tight on her Pegasus before eyeing her target and then stabbing her iron lance on one bandit's chest while Chrom pulls out his sword from the ground before charging towards another bandit, Chrom swung his sword at his target, hitting it across it's chest which sends his target crashing to the ground.
As this is going on, we see Kenji Kazama facing Morristan.
"Wyvern or man, everyone's all snarl and fire until they learn the feel of the lash!" Morristan declared.
Kenji rubs the back of his head, "At least, I'm facing someone new this time." he commented.
Morristan then swung his ax above him before bringing it down however Kenji simply dodged his attack, the orange-haired architect then steps on the ax and with great momentum, Kenji kneed the scoundrel across his jaw, dazing him a bit. Morristan shook his head before swinging his ax again rather violently while Kenji dodges evert swing, the Fujou High student then kicks the Morristan's hand hard which prompted the bandit to drop his weapon. Wasting no time, Kenji tackled the bandit down the ground and began bashing him with his briefcase numerous times, spilling blood all over before standing up and then stomping on the bandit's head four times until the Morristan succumbs to pain.
"I'm... this can't... be..." Morristan uttered in disbelief.
Kenji then brought out a handgun from his briefcase before shooting Morristan on the head, killing him in an instant.
"Good riddance." Kenji uttered.
BREAK OUT!
After defeating every bandits and getting rid of Morristan's corpse, the villagers rejoiced and showered the heroes with their utmost gratitude.
"Our saviors!" a villager cheered, "And it's more than lives you rescued, you've saved my hope in humanity, too." he furthered, "I thank you for it." he said in gratitude, "Here, sir." he offered a bottle of potion, "A token of my gratitude." he said.
Chrom then accepted the item, "Thanks to you as well, friend." he replied with a smile.
"Take care, now." the villager advised, "We'll pray for a safe journey for you and your troops." he encouraged.
As this is going on, we see Cherche approaching Gerome.
"Do you have a moment?" Cherche asked.
"What is it?" Gerome questioned.
"I was hoping you might introduce me to your wyvern." Cherche replied.
"Why?" Gerome questioned.
Cherche giggled, "To see which of ours is cuter." she answered, "Not very sporting of me when mine is the finest in the world, I know." she boasted.
Gerome sighed, "Do as you please." he uttered.
"I will, then! Thank you." Cherche cheered before approaching Gerome's wyvern, "Hee hee!" she chuckled while petting the wyvern, "Oh, but you ARE cute!" she cooed, "She's nearly a match with Minerva!" she commented, "Nearly so in every way." she furthered when her eyes widen in realization, "Wait, what sorcery is this?" she questioned, "They...they look IDENTICAL!" she exclaimed.
"That's because they are identical." Gerome confirmed, "They're one and the same." he stated.
"M-Minerva? How is that possible?" Cherche uttered in confusion.
"You could examine her from tip to tail looking for scars and marks if you like." Gerome advised, "Or you could just look at this ring." he said before presenting her a familiar looking ring.
Cherche's eyes widen in shock, "I... I know that ring." she said before realizing who Gerome really was, "So then you're..." she uttered.
"I am, though I had not intended that we meet." Gerome admitted.
"Why not?" Cherche asked.
"I came back in time so I might release Minerva." Gerome explained, "Not to seek out parents to whom I've already bidden farewell." he furthered.
"You crossed the bounds of time just to set Minerva free?" Cherche uttered in surprise, "Whatever for?!" she asked.
"In the future I know, she is among the last of her kind." Gerome answered, "I... I could not leave her to that solitude." he confessed.
Cherche smiled, "She is lucky indeed to know someone of such kindness." she commented, "As, I imagine, am I." she added.
"Stay your words. " Gerome said, "I've no intention of getting close to you." he declared, "Fate will not be mocked." he said, "This war may claim your life anew, and I'll not weep twice for losing the same mother." he stated, "My burden is heavy enough." he uttered.
"But yet you carry it still." Cherche pointed out.
Gerome scoffed, "That's enough." he said before walking off.
Cherche smiled once more, "Thank you, Gerome." she uttered in gratitude.
But before Gerome could walk any further... pairs of hands grabbed him by the shoulder which halted his track, Gerome then turns around to see Tsumugu, EMIYA and Hisui looking at him with shit-eating grins on their faces.
"You seem like you needed an attitude adjustment." Tsumugu commented.
"We've known a lot of guys like you and we know how to deal with 'em." EMIYA stated.
"Come with us and we'll help you out." Hisui beckoned.
And with that, Tsumugu, EMIYA and Hisui drags Gerome away while ignoring his complaints, Cherche then watches them with a giggle.

"Okay, look, they can't have kids of their own and they like that I'm smart, and they want that for their child." Stahn Aileron reasoned.
Rolf van Kelamis shook his head, "No, Rolf get it." he admitted.
Rutee Katrea raised an eyebrow, "You do?" she questioned.
Rolf nodded, "Sure." he confirmed, "Back on the farm, Rolf's family had a prize stallion." he shared, 'We didn't let that just go to waste, so we put him out to stud." he explained.
Rutee shook her head, "No, no, this is this is a little different than that." she stated.
"No, no, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey." Stahn interrupted, "Uh, you were comparing me to a prize stud." he stated, "Go on." he beckoned with Rutee looking at him in disbelief.
