Falling in love is a slow process, influenced by the events and people around you. Mass Effect is such a big universe, that we don't get to spend much time seeing these relationships form. This is a "Missing Moments" type fic centered around John Shepard and Tali'Zorah vas Normandy, their budding romance, and how those aboard the Normandy work and live together through hell.

The combat drone installed in the omni-tool Cerberus gave to engineer Evangeline Shepard is a sophisticated piece of equipment, and there aren't a lot of safeguards isolating it from other systems in Shepard's omni-tool or within Normandy's servers.
