M.R Potion- What if Harry and Hermione had a potions accident?

In fifth year before finals
Harry, Hermione and Ron were practicing potions in the girls bathroom with Moaning Myrtle watching over them and asking questions about what they were doing and why. Ron was attempting to perfectly unassistedly master the making of poly juice potion. While Harry and Hermione was busily making a potions that would allow them restricted access to one another's thoughts so in the dark times ahead they essentially perform telepathy. Harry and Hermione were one step from finishing and realised they didn't have the final ingredient or access to it as it was part of Professor Snape's private stash. So they provised a plan to sneak into the potions closet using Harry's invisibility cloak.
The plan went almost perfectly until they left the door to the potions cupboard open and Snape came into the classroom looking for something and saw the door open and closed it, leaving them trapped in the cupboard. when they looked through the keyhole to see if the coast was clear they discovered Snape was not looking for something but grading papers at his desk, trapping them till he left. Wandless they were unable to cast an effective silencing charm on the cupboard meaning they were unable to make any noise. Finally they heard noise Snape was walking towards the cupboard looking for supplies to prove a student's potion incorrect. He moved so fast they barely had time to cover themselves with the invisibility cloak. As Snape came in he appeared to move towards the right so they moved left and suddenly Snape changed direction leaving them effectively trapped as he reached for the desired items and left unable to carry them in one trip, providing them a chance to escape which they gladly took. As they left the cupboard they discovered Snape had no intentions of going back in meaning they were unable to completely escape as the classroom door was closed trapping them again! Upon realising this they decided to sit on a desk near the door and watch Snape go about making this impossible correct potion witch Hermione realised to be the one she had wrote about in her exam. Again after what felt like forever Snape finished and was grumbling about having to giving Gryffindor more points because of a know it all mudblood and went about packing away his equipment. Releasing the most effective way to escape was while Snape was in the cupboard Harry and the cloak closed the door behind him and Hermione opened the classroom door and escaped while waiting for Harry down the hall. As Harry came out they heard Snape curse the lock till it released him and as Harry covered Hermione with the cloak Snape burst into the hall. Feeling like a fool he backed into his classroom and pretended nothing happened.
As they rounded the corner Harry and Hermione uncovered themselves and started laughing over Snape having three misfortunes in a matter of minutes having to award Gryffindor more points because Mione outsmarted him and being locked in a cupboard till the cursed lock released him and realising he run into an 'empty' hallway looking for culprits for his own actions.
