It's the end of the battle of Hogwarts, Voldemort is gone for good this time. Harry is helping all those injured and asked Mcgonagall "Professor? You've all risked your lives for me, why would you all do something like that?"

"Because Harry, we didn't want to go down without a fight. Dumbledore told me that ever since you've learned the Patronus charm, he's seen something in you that has great power. He would not have wanted us to hand you over. You are the last of the Potter bloodline thus when you die, the Potter memory will fade away over time. Dumbledore knew you would be the one to get us out of these dark times and into the light. That is what the prophecy stated 'neither one may live while the other is alive' he KNEW there was a Horcrux in you but wanted YOU to figure it out for yourself."

"Thanks a lot professor"

"You are very welcome Mr. Potter, I hope to be seeing your kids here in the future Mr. Potter"

"You will professor, you can count on it"

"Ms. Granger, Mr. Weasley and Mr. Potter"

"Yes professor?" all three said in unison.

"You Mr. Potter have the Dursley's to go find and let them know they are now safe."

"Yes professor"

"Ms. Granger you have your family that you used the obliviate spell on, take this, I brewed this potion after realizing you wiped your parents memories, it'll rejog their memories, it'll put you back in the family pictures, just add a drop of it to their drinks and they'll remember you."

"Thanks professor"

"And Mr. Weasley I can't tell you how sorry I am that you lost your brother because I can't bring him back, I am however going to tell you his memory will live on forever once we rebuild Hogwarts, in the entry we'll put all those that sacrificed their lives on one side of the wall and all those that risked their lives but survived on the opposite wall so Fred won't ever be forgotten"

"Thanks professor, I can't tell you just how much that means to me and my family" said Ron through tears.
