Hiccup woke up at sunset with a headache and gets up change Runa's diaper and play with her.

Ingrid returned home to see Hiccup awake and playing with Runa and ask "do you remember anything?"

Hiccup looks at Ingrid and ask "what are you talking about?"

Ingrid sighs "Hiccup, you told me, Astrid and Alistair, your true feelings of your heart."

Hiccup curious ask "what did I say?"

Ingrid sighs "Hiccup, you talked how Astrid made you feel undesirable, you beat her jerk of a boyfriend's butt and said that you would have to do something heroic for Astrid to have sex with you."

Hiccup bows "I'm sorry Ingrid."

Ingrid grins "it's okay, Hiccup, you was even flirting with Astrid while drunk.

Hiccup sighs "I'm going to visit Toothless with Runa."

Ingrid comments "he's with Astrid being praised. Stoick is celebrated her as The New Dragon Queen."

Hiccup looks at Ingrid and says "I'll be at the forge if anyone needs me."

He leaves the house and walks over to the forge and begins grinding swords and scowls "He celebrated Astrid as my Dragon Queen! And he never once praised me for any damn thing!"

(In the hall)

Valka ask "Astrid, do you know if Hiccup's awake yet?"

Stoick comments "let him sleep off his alcohol. We're supposed to celebrate Astrid beating Dagur's armada with Toothless and five hundred dragons. Hiccup will fall in love with her more."

Ingrid walks up to them and ask "Stoick have you ever praised your son over anything such as him using Toothless to rescue Astrid from Dagur or his victories in duels?"

Stoick answers "not really."

Valka gasped "Stoick! I told him congrats on his victories and that I'm proud of him!"

Ingrid sighs "that explains why he suddenly went to the forge to work while having a headache. Didn't want to see his father praised the girl he has a crush on."

Astrid scowls "Stoick! I wouldn't be the Dragon Queen if Hiccup didn't beat me in a duel and I don't deserve this without Hiccup by my side!"

She leaves the hall and runs over to forge to see Hiccup play with Runa making her laugh and says "I love how you take father hood so well."

Hiccup looks to the voice to see Astrid and ask "had enough of the celebration?"

Astrid comments "I had no idea your father never praised you on anything."

Hiccup sighs "you being my friend was the only good thing with having your parents praise me."

Astrid comments "I yelled at your father and so did your mother."

Hiccup sighs "I'm sorry about telling you that I would have to do a heroic thing just for you to have sex with me."

Astrid sighs "it's fine, Hiccup, you were drunk."

Hiccup shakes his head "no, it's not, I was just depressed about my past and you chose to let Snotlout court you and said you could make him change for the better."

Astrid curious ask "is that why your upset with me?"

Hiccup sighs nodding his head.

Astrid ask "will you court me, Hiccup, Dragon Master?"

Hiccup grins "sure, but I would have to make you gifts."

Astrid gape "you made me gifts?"

Hiccup smirks "I made you your first axe for your tenth birthday with two daggers as a set."

Astrid smiles "that reminds me" and kisses his lips and says "that was for the daggers."

Hiccup curious ask "if we got married, you wouldn't leave me like Shelby did?"

Astrid grins "I wouldn't leave you over anything you do."

Hiccup comments "my life has horrible without feeling loved."

She ask "are you hungry?"

Hiccup sighs "yes."

They walk to the hall to eat dinner.

Valka walks over to them and hugs Hiccup and ask "are you feeling better, son?"

Hiccup sighs "yes, I just had horrible past not feeling loved and accepted by this village."

Ingrid handed Runa to Astrid and smirks "your marrying the Dragon Master and becoming his new queen, you have take care of his child like a mother."

Astrid grins "I have no problem with that" looking at Runa "my little Runa."

Snotlout walks in the hall looking better after being bathed in healing saliva from Toothless."

Hiccup got them dinner while Astrid fed Runa milk.

Snotlout walks over to Astrid and says "I'm disappointed in you, Astrid, we're getting married in a week and you weren't at the healer taking care of me."

Astrid sighs "I'm not marrying you because I'm engaged to Hiccup."

Snotlout grins "your parents signed the contract for you to marry me."

Hiccup sits down with their dinner and they begin eating.

Astrid grins "besides, Snotlout, my dad ripped up the contract between us because your a jerk."

Snotlout gape "don't your parents know that if they ripped up the marriage contract that they get charged with refusal to let me have you as my wife because I'm the heir?!"

Hiccup sighs "Snotlout leave us alone."

Snotlout grins "really, Astrid? First me and now Hiccup, such a slut just like Hiccup's wife, Shelby."

Astrid scowls "first off, I only let you court me two weeks until I found out you lied about leaving Hiccup alone. All you did was bring me two flowers and a bunch of weeds.

We didn't kiss or have sex because I was only ten years old! Hiccup made me a double bladed axe for my tenth birthday and two daggers as a weapon set which would be acceptable to court me.

The only reason why I let you court me was so you would stop bullying Hiccup which was stupid of me because I hurt my best friend so much, he doesn't like me much or trust me!

I should have chose Hiccup over you, but with everyone mistreating him, I didn't want my image discredit by hanging around Hiccup."

Hiccup finished his dinner and leaves walking out of the hall fast.

Valka calls her son's name to stop him from leaving, but he ignored her and sighs "damn it."

Astrid ask "now what did I say for him to get upset over?"

Ingrid sighs "daughter, you confessed to admitting that Hiccup made you a courting gift that you accepted and chose Snotlout over Hiccup to court you."

Astrid nervous ask "meaning?"

Ingrid bows her head in sadness for Hiccup and answers "you deem Hiccup unworthy when he was heir and made you a weapon set that could be called a courting gift.

You just said that you quit hanging around him because the villagers didn't like him as heir."

Astrid widen her eyes "oh shoot. I told him I left him to save my image."

(In the forge)

Hiccup scowls "no wonder she stop hanging around me in the afternoon and hang with Snotlout and the others!"

He leaves the forge too furious and takes Toothless for a flight.

(In the hall)

Astrid leaves the hall and walks over to the forge to see it lit up and Hiccup gone.

Snotlout grins "you told him why you stop hanging around him. I hope he doesn't come back!"

Astrid starts teary eyes "Hic-cup, I'm so-rry!"

Snotlout smirks "you should call off the engagement because he won't accept what you said about him after he eavesdrop on you having everyone vote him gone!"

Astrid ask "what are you talking about?!"

Snotlout grins "you told the villagers that you didn't care if he was the heir, you rather married me or a traveler than be married to a useless hiccup who couldn't do anything but make weapons and draw pictures like a five year old!"

Astrid scowls "if you tell Hiccup that I said that about him, I'll make sure your bloodline ends with you!"

Hiccup and Toothless eavesdrop on Astrid and Snotlout's conversion to learn that Astrid refused to marry him even if he was force to marry her by his father and marry Snotlout or a traveler.

He flies Toothless to his old house and walks upstairs with Toothless and locks his door to be left alone.

Stoick and Valka return home thinking about Hiccup.

In the morning, Hiccup and Toothless walk downstairs to eat breakfast and leave before his parents wake up and walks over to the Hofferson's house leaves a note for Astrid and leaves heading to the forge to work.

He pulls out the necklace with charms carved out of wood to think about Shelby leaving him.

Astrid stops by with Runa and Gobbler.

Gobber nervous ask "Hiccup?"

Hiccup turns to see Gobber and Astrid with Runa and sighs "I'm fine, Gobber. Astrid what did I do to you for you to hate me so much when were kids for you to think of marrying my asshole of a cousin or a traveler than think about marrying me when I was a fucking heir to this damn village?!"

Astrid gasped "y-you heard mine and Snotlout's conversion last night?"

Hiccup scowls "yes I heard your damn conversion and now I feel Shelby only dated and married me for fame!

You want to reconcile to redeem yourself because you made me feel unworthy to date you and told me that I have nothing interesting to you!

I hear now that your telling the truth that I would be better than Snotlout because he turned out to be a real asshole and disrespected your mother and you!

He leaves forge with Shelby's necklace and taking Runa from Astrid and says "I thought we were best friends that wouldn't abandon each other over anything or because of others.

I guess was the caring friend and you were a fake friend that I grew a crush on. I'm idiot for falling in love with girls and they turn out to be fucking fake and using me for celebrities stunt!"

Astrid bow her head and started crying.

Hiccup left with Runa to go visit the dragons on the northeast side of Berk.

Gobber gasped at Hiccup's speech.

Astrid ran home and upstairs to her room and laid on her bed facing the wall and crying her heart out.

Ingrid walk upstairs to her daughter's bedroom and began rubbing her daughter's back.

Astrid whines "I hurt him beyond forgiveness!"

Ingrid gape "what?!"

Astrid whines "he found out that after he eavesdrop on me asking the villagers if they agree that Berk would be better off without him on Berk and after he left, I told my friends I would rather marry Snotlout or a traveler than marry Hiccup who was the heir."

Ingrid gape "how did he find out?"

Astrid whines "he eavesdrop from a hiding spot or from hovering on Toothless."

Ingrid sighs "oh daughter, give him time and he'll learn to love you."

Astrid shakes her head and whines "he told me to go marry Snotlout or a traveler!"

Ingrid sighs and continues rubbing her daughter's back.

After an hour of crying, Astrid fell asleep in her bed.

Ingrid left and to go find Hiccup.

Hiccup returned with Runa from visiting the dragons at sun setting.

Ingrid finds Hiccup returning from the forest and worries "I been looking for you!"

Hiccup ask "why? what's wrong?"

Ingrid sighs "Astrid came home crying her heart out until she fell asleep!"

Hiccup ask "she cried herself to sleep?"

Ingrid comments "I think it was because you told her to marry Snotlout or a traveler."

Hiccup sighs "do you think I cross the line with her?"

Ingrid sighs "I would say yes because you basically told her that you don't want to marry her."

Hiccup sighs "I have a difficult time of believing that she wants to marry me when she told her friends that she would rather marry Snotlout or a traveler than marry Hiccup the useless."

Ingrid scowls "she wants to marry Hiccup the Dragon Master!"

Hiccup sighs "fine, if you believe she wants to marry me."

Ingrid takes Runa from Hiccup and says "grandparents want to spend time with Runa too. Now go cheer up your fiance!"

Hiccup walks inside the Hofferson's house and walks upstairs to Astrid's room and sighs "here goes nothing."

He walks in the room and takes off his shoes and slides in beside Astrid and wraps his arms around her closing his eyes.
