"No."

"...Are you still angry with me?"

"... I was never angry at you... maybe more like disappointed but like I told Rex, sometimes we have to do things we don't like."

"That's true."

"So is Noah home?"

"Yes, we dropped him off an hour ago."

"How's he doing?"

"A little upset at himself."

"For getting caught?"

"No, nothing like that. He likes Rex. Felt bad for deceiving him."

"Noah's a good kid. I hope Rex can see past White's machinations."

"Rex is also a good kid. I think he will."

"I wish you hadn't been part of this but you probably didn't have much of a choice. I'm actually surprised that White didn't force me into it."

"Wait! You know something."

"What do you mean, doctor?"

"Don't play dumb Six. I know you . White Knight did want me to be apart of this deception, didn't he?"

"Didn't he?"

"…Yes."

"Then what happened?"

"I talked him out of it."

"Why?"

"I knew when Rex found out, he would need someone he could still believe in. And you were right about trust. He needs to be able to trust someone."

"So you made yourself the bad guy? Oh Six."

"Don't feel bad for me. I went in knowing the consequences."

"Whatever possessed White to think up this plan?"

"That was my fault. I had suggested that perhaps Rex needed companions his own age and White twisted it."

"Figures. So I suppose you were tasked with finding Rex a friend. How did you even find Noah?"

"Put out an ad."

"You're kidding me!"

"You are! And people think you don't have a sense of humor."

"And they will continue to think that because I will deny any and all allegations."

"You're such a stinker."

"I deny that as well."

"Six, I know you care about him despite your objections. It must be difficult to have him angry at you."

"As I've said before doctor. Our relationship needs to be professional."

"I know. You've said it so many times you sound like a broken record but professional or not I know you care, don't you?"

"Fine! Don't answer. You can just spend your life hiding behind your shades and green suit!"

"I...I... I'm sorry Six. I didn't mean to snap at you. I guess I'm just worried about... everything."

"How's Beverly doing?"

"She doesn't seem any worse for her excursion. Thank you for helping me..."

"Forget it. Why don't you get some rest? I'll watch the monitors for awhile."

"No Six. I still need to try a few more tricks to see if I can locate him. I'll call you if I find anything."

"I'll stay."

"You don't have to. It'll be boring."

"... Six, I just got a reading. He's heading into town. Let me zoom in on the map. It looks like he's heading for the... basketball courts?"

"I think I know where he's going."

"You don't think he'll hurt Noah, do you?"

"No, but we need to get there before he disappears again."

"Go and keep me posted."

So there's this time gap between when Rex storms off and when he talks to Noah. So I wanted to fill it in. What do you think?
