Hi Guest, actually the next episode is Frostbite then Leader of the Pack. But because you are interested I'll try to move it along so I can get to that episode. I'm actually having problems with this conversation. I've changed it several times already. Hope the final product is worth your time.

"Any progress on that nanite in Rex, Holiday?"
"Not really, Six. All I've been able to figure out is that it's trying to initiate a program but keeps failing. It's not like his other complete nanites or any nanites I've ever seen."
"What do you mean?"
"Well, most of the nanites that surround us have incomplete programming… meaning that they can go rogue and cause mutations at any point. But with Rex, all his nanites have completed codes so he can control them… except this one. It's like nothing I've ever seen."
"Does this mean he can mutate?"
"I don't think so. It apparently keeps running into an error."
"Was it always there or is it newly acquired?"
"That's a good question. I think he's always had it. It just didn't show itself until now. Somehow Rex's nanite overload caused this nanite to activate."
"What program is it trying to initiate?"
"I'm not sure but if I had to hazard a guess it seems to be trying to build something."
"… Build what?"
"I don't know. It keeps aborting. I guess it's missing some other program."
"Good."
"Good? Six, is there something you're not telling me?"
"It's nothing to concern yourself about."
"Six, if you know something, you have to let me know otherwise I won't be able to…"
"Doctor, it's a private matter."
"Six, if this could help Rex…"
"Believe me it won't help him."
"Now you're the one being cryptic. How am I supposed to figure things out if you keep secrets from me?"
"Do you trust me?"
"What?"
"Do you trust me?"
"…I…Six, this isn't about… "
"It's a simple yes or no."
"I… yes, Six. I trust you."
"Then please doctor, trust that if there's something I don't tell you I have a good reason."
"That's infuriating Six! What if it's going to affect Rex's health?"
"It would be more adverse to reveal any more."
"And what if it could help with a cure?"
"Do you want a cure at the expense of his life?"
"…What? …Why? …I…I… don't understand."
"There are things that I can't tell you but you have to trust that this cannot get out. Rex's life could be in danger."
"You're asking a lot."
"I'm asking because, as you like to repeatedly point out, I want to protect Rex."
"Because you care about him."

"You can't tell White either."

"But since I know you care about Rex and would never let anything happen to him… I'll trust your judgment. But I don't like it."

"I just hope you know what you're doing."

"So… what's going to happen to Weever?"
"He's going to be used by Providence to train the new recruits."
"That sounds like a proper punishment for that greedy jerk."

"Okay… what was that look?"
"What look?"
"You know… that look. The one that says you're surprised."
"I rarely hear you express your negative opinions of people… especially using that epithet."
"I know, I know… I shouldn't be calling people…"
"Holiday, it was fully deserved. Weever had it coming, selling Rex's surplus nanites to Van Kleiss."
"Yes, but I want to take the high road… otherwise what's to differentiate me from them."
"There are plenty of things that differentiate you from anyone else."
"Was that a compliment?"
"Take it as you will."
"You're so infuriating, you know that?"
"I try. I will see you tomorrow, doctor."

"Good night, Holiday… and we never had this conversation."
"What conversation?"
"Exactly."
So they never really mention anything about this nanite again in the other episodes or did they? Does anyone remember? So I'm going to guess that this was the Meta-nanite that was hidden inside Rex. So it would not be able to initiate its programming without the other Meta-nanites. I'm also going with Six worried about having to take out Rex if he ever became that robot EVO in Promises, Promises. Holiday does not know about the deal he made with White.
