Since I've started my Season 6, I won't have time to work on this as much. I will continue to update but just not that quickly. I will be concentrating on my Generator Rex: Made-up Season 6. Thank you all who are reading. Don't worry I'll continue to write if you continue to read.

I do not own this franchise.

"Plague"

"Okay Six, this is the last check up for the day."

"Three exams seem... excessive."

"I just need to make sure there's no residual affects from that plague."

"I feel fine."

"As we all know feeling fine and being fine are two different things... And you should know better than to argue with me."

"Yes, doctor."

"Don't get sarcastic with me agent. You scared me when you passed out like that."

"The situation was a bit out of my control. The plague hit before Providence's isolation protocol could be put into place."

"I know. I know. Sorry, but I was worried I wouldn't be able to find the answer before it was too late. Those shocks were making it hard for me to think."

"You probably need more of a check up than I do."

"Don't worry about that. I already had a physical and ran a full brain scan twice."

"Are you okay?"

"Oh, no permanent damage but I'll have headaches for weeks."

"I guess that's good... headaches aside."

"Yes, I'm glad Rex figured out who patient zero was or we'd still be asleep."

"I'm impressed the kid figured it out."

"Yes, he actually interpreted my data correctly. If he had let White Knight kill patient zero, we might all still be asleep."

"I don't follow."

"Well, if the patient died the evolved EVO germ would have moved onto a different host or it could have multiplied and spread to other hosts until it was impossible to contain."

"I see. It's a good thing Rex was there."

"That's not all. He actually saved White Knight even after all the things White did."

"I'm not surprised. Rex is a good kid."

"I know but he's still a teenager and I don't think I was so magnanimous when I was his age. It's a mark of maturity and shows his heart. I'm so proud of him."

"I suppose you told him that already?"

"Of course."

"Well, I guess he deserved it."

"What no lecture about swelled heads… no admonishment about keeping things professional?"

"Sometimes a job well done… needs acknowledgement."

"…Wow, I'm…speechless."

"That would be a first."

"Ha, ha, very funny. I need to ask a few things before I let you go. What do you remember before you passed out?"

"I don't remember much."

"Well, tell me what you do remember."

"I remember we were talking about Rex's penchant for sneaking out every night…. This is about his curfew isn't it?

"Mmm-hmm."

"Sneaky way of bringing it up."

"I think he's shown himself to be responsible enough to have a later one, don't you think?"

"And what time were you thinking of?"

"I think 10 PM is reasonable."

"Not if he's going to get up at 5AM for training."

"About that… you know 5AM in the morning is ... extreme. How about 6 AM instead?"

"You're pushing it. Have you seen him on the field? He needs more training."

"He needs more sleep."

"Then his curfew should stay at 8."

"No, then he'll sneak out and stay out till all hours of the night. Then he definitely won't get enough sleep. Plus you have to constantly punish him for breaking his curfew. This way we make him responsible for his time… and it gives us more options when we need to… discipline him."

"Hmm, you're devious, doctor."

"No, just applying some time honored parenting techniques."

"You know he'll continue to break the rules."

"I know, but he'll do it less if he feels he has more control over his life. He hasn't run away in awhile has he?"

"…No."

"Point proven."

"Not really, but I guess I can move his curfew to 9."

"10."

"9:30."

"Sold...Now that's settled, you have a clean bill of health and you may go."

"There are easier ways to negotiate doctor."

"Not with you, there isn't."

"Well, should you decide to take a break from your guerrilla tactics, perhaps we can have dinner now."

"Absolutely, I'm starving. Lead the way."

I'm told that eating dinner together in a work cafeteria doesn't count as a date unless you are in middle school. So… yeah… still not a date.
