Guest1: Thanks. I like it when people reminisce too.

Spektor vox: Six is a closeted softy… who could take you out in a blink of an eye. So I think the two balances each other out.

Guest2: About chapter 15, I understand what you are saying but if Van Kleiss is cured, how can he control those corrupted nanites? I mean those nanites occurred because Van Kleiss wasn't there to control them. So if he's cured how is he going to absorb them? So what if the corrupt nanites spread again. Wouldn't the world be in trouble? IDK. I'm not going to over think it. Then in Episode 21 it wasn't clear if he was an EVO before he absorbed all of Rex's nanites or regained his EVO-ness after he absorbed Rex's nanites. I'm sure I can spend all day trying to dissect this but then I'm wasting precious story time. But thank you for sharing your ideas.

Guest3: I would imagine Biowulf would lay him down on a stone slab over some light source(like a hole in the ceiling) and cover him in a blanket of flowers. But honestly, who knows? Your guess is as good as mine. I'm sure yours is better.

Guest4: You know I said the exact same thing in my Love in the time of txtspeak. SirenSounds97 gave a particularly intriguing theory in the comment section. My solution… ignore it and go with the big picture. This is the problem when you have different writers. No consistency.

MoonGirl1155: I love them too… (tears up… sees daughter looking…quickly swipes them away… "No, no just allergies, honey.)

Don't own.

"Badlands"

"Six, where's Rex, Noah, and Bobo?"

"They're still in the desert."

"Are you serious?"

"They wanted to go joyriding? They can find their own ways home."

"What happened out there? Where are the unstable nanites?"

...

"Oh don't tell me. They went off?"

...

"Oh Six, that's months of research down the tubes."

"I know."

"I suppose it was Rex's fault?"

"Actually, it was an annoying reject from a Matsumoto space opera. We have him in custody right now."

"Well, that's good. Because Rex gets blamed too often…Wait!... Since when do you watch anime?"

"Again I reference the last conversation about not living under a rock."

"Yes, but you don't look like the type to… I don't know, watch cartoons."

"They are not just cartoons they are well crafted sagas mirroring today's disenfranchised living in a utilitarian society ruled by despots."

...

"That and there's only so many hours of Spanish soaps I can tolerate watching with Rex."

"That makes more sense…. Is Isabella back with Reynaldo yet?"

"Is Isabella the screechy one or the high strung one?"

"She's the slappy one."

"Ah…. No, not yet."

"They really are milking that evil twin story line for all it's worth."

"I really wasn't paying attention. It is extremely painful to watch television with the kid."

"But I'm sure he appreciates that you spend time with him."

"It's what I live for."

"Oh don't be so sarcastic. It's good for you to relax sometimes too."

"I do relax."

"I hardly call decapitating practice dummies relaxing."

"It is to me."

"Why am I not surprised? So how long are you going to wait until you go get him?"

"What makes you think I'm going to?"

"Because White would have a cow if you lost Providence's secret weapon."

"He won't get lost. Put a tracer in the monkey's diaper."

"Again? Don't you think Bobo is going to notice one of these days?"

"Hasn't yet."

"But in all seriousness when are you going to go pick them up."

"After dinner when they are hungry. Then I'll pick them up with one slice of pizza and see who gets it first."

"That's so mean… Can I come along?"

" Just teaching them a lesson on staying with the group… and you are welcome to come."

"Of course I want to… but I guess I should bring the first aid kit."

"Why? Make them wait till we get back to base."

"I don't think Noah deserved to be left with them."

"Noah is not as innocent as you think."

"Didn't you hire him to be a good influence?"

"That's hard to counteract when Bobo's around."

"True… Oh hey, I see them delivering the all important toilet paper. At least that delivery made it."

"Yes, it would have been… unfortunate if we'd lost that."

"Well at least one of your missions was a success."

"Since we kept the unstable nanites out of the wrong hands, we were 100% successful."

"Oh really? What about delivering them intact?"

"Minor technicality."

"Whatever, Six. So what's this Gatlocke like?"

"Talks a mile a minute, thinks he's a comedian, and his ideas have no basis in reality."

"So… kinda like Rex?"

"Except he wears an undertaker's drapes."

"Hmmm, sounds… interesting."

"Believe me, annoying is a better description."

"Well, hopefully, we won't hear from him for a long time."

"He'll be hanging out with Hunter Cain in Providence's Detention Center."

"Well, it's about dinner time. Shall we go pick up a pizza?"

"Give it a few more minutes."

"Do you think Bobo is driving or Noah?"

"Does it matter?"

"I hope it's not Rex. He doesn't know how to drive yet. I should know."

"Really?"

"I tried to teach him one day in a jeep…"

"I've always thought drivers ed teacher is the most dangerous job out there. I hope you got hazard pay."

"No. But I did get a nice bruise from when we had to bail out."

"What?"

"He drove off the pier. Don't ask."

"There's no pier around here."

"I never said I tried to teach him around here. Anyway, hopefully he's at least learned the difference between the gas and the brakes."

"Maybe we should go now."

"Oh now you're nervous about their safety?"

"Not nervous about their safety, just the truck's."

"Funny, Six. So let's pick a pizza on our way out. We'll split it and they can fight over the leftovers when we find them."

"Fine by me… Let me check the tracker…"

"Well?"

"…Looks like they are a little further than I thought."

"Mexico? How on earth did they get there?"

"I'm guessing in the truck."

"I better make that a double… and get some coffee."

"We can get the coffee on the way."

"Won't that slow us down?"

"… The coffee place you like is on the way."

"…That's… very thoughtful of you."

"Besides you need to be awake so you can stop me from killing him, Noah, Bobo, or all three."

"Now Six, you knew there was a possibility that they'd wind up… some place far off."

"Yes, and they will now have to suffer the consequences of their actions…I think 100 laps around the Petting Zoo to start."

"Don't forget his curfew."

"Yes, a shortened curfew."

"We can discuss all the ways we can discipline Rex on our way."

"After you."

"Thank you."

Has anyone ever watch Leiji Matsumoto's Captain Harlock? Honestly when I first saw Gatlocke, I thought there was a slight resemblance in their attire… not personality, however. Captain Harlock is more like Six in terms of being stoic. Anyway, if you like anime this one's a classic along with Galaxy 999. I'm not that crazy about the stuff out there now-a-days. Then again I'm old…
