X: I appreciate you reading my stories. I've actually started working on the wedding special but I'm trying to see how many chapters I can get out of it before I start posting stuff. I'm toying with making it the beginning of season 7. But I want to end the series on an even number so I need to see if I have enough ideas to finish on season 8. So I'm thinking it will, at the latest, be out in the summer. In the meantime, I will regularly update Conversations and periodically update 50 First Dates and Generation Next. And I might post some one-shots (or crack-fics) here and there to fill in the time. It depends on how many people want to continue reading my stuff. (BTW, there's a new poll on my profile page.)

"How is Rex getting acclimated to his new room, Six?"

"It has a big screen TV, video game console, and a bed. What more does he need?"

"Well, how is he handling sleeping in a trailer?"

"I don't think he noticed. He just turned on the TV and started playing video games."

"It's probably not as nice as what Providence gave him…"

"At the cost of his freedom."

"Yes, there's that."

"I think Rex was very happy to see us again."

"I agree. It's good to see him again. I was starting to lose hope."

"Really? You were the one who would usually give the pep talks."

"I know… They were as much for me as for all of you."

"I wish you told me. You don't always have to put on a brave face."

"Everyone has their own problems. I… I… didn't want to add to it."

"You're the one who says we need to work together. We can't if we're not open."

"And have you been open, Six?"

"Me? Well,… this isn't about me."

"Then what is it about?"

"…It's about being a cohesive group."

"I think we're working toward that… It'll just take a while."

"It's been six months."

"That we spent with the main goal of finding Rex."

"Now that he's found, we need to focus on what to do with the Providence. They're not going to take kindly to us disrupting their operations."

"That and taking away Rex."

"Black Knight does not seem the forgiving type. It's only a matter of time before she devotes Providence's resources to finding us."

"White Knight keeps hinting that they have a bigger hidden agenda."

"He's certainly been mysterious about his fact finding trips."

"I'm sure he'll share once he's ready."

"He seemed happy to see Rex though."

"How could you tell?"

"He wasn't as tense… in fact, he seemed relieved."

"You know, I do think White's starting to warm up to him… just a little."

"That's a big change for White. He usually holds grudges… for a very long time."

"I think we've all been changed by this."

"I actually don't feel changed."

"You've come a long way, Six. It takes time to regain six years. Be patient with yourself."

"What about you?"

"…W…w…what do you mean?"

"It seems my memory loss has affected you the most."

"Oh, I… no… it's just that… I… don't… I'm okay. I just want you to…"

"Be my old self?"

"No, I mean yes, I mean… Oh, I don't know. Things are complicated right now. I guess I need time to get use to this you."

"I thought I was becoming more like the old me?"

"You are but… there are little things."

"Like?"

"… Like how you're more aggressive… in everything."

"I see."

"And you lose your temper faster."

"Uh-huh."

"You break rules, you go off on your own without telling anyone, you…"

"Okay, okay, I get the idea."

"But your values? They're more like the old Six's. I know in time you'll be your old self again."

"In the meantime, we should see what White has to say about what he's been looking into."

"He's still not back. What did the old me use to do with Rex?"

"Well, you did a lot of training. You kept him to a strict schedule."

"I guess I better get started then."

"Where are you going?"

"I'm going to get Rex and start his training regimen. We have 6 months of work to catch up on."

"That sounds like the old Six."

"I'm trying."

"I know you are, Six. I know you are."
