End Game Part 1

"How's he doing Holiday?"
"Trying to stabilize his nanites. They are going crazy trying to repair the injuries inflicted by Black Knight and the Consortium! Ooo, if she was here..."
"She'd probably wipe you out in a blink of an eye. She is wielding an insane amount of power."
"I know, Six. I know. I'm just so… so frustrated! She just ups and attacks us..."
"We always knew she was going to do that..."
"But after lulling us into a false sense of security since she's been quiet for so long. I mean for crying out loud Rex just got back from being a roadie for that band."
"I'm still surprised you let him go."
"That was a real EVO threat Six. Besides Rex was getting stir crazy sitting around with nothing to do."
"But a road tour?"
"The tour was almost over. They just had a few venues left. I checked."
"I'm sure you did."
"And despite you telling me not to nag Rex…"
"I never said you were nagging. I just happened to mention that you are young only once…"
"Whatever, but the earplugs paid off. Rex was clever enough to figure out who the EVO was because of loud feedback."
"You'll have to explain that one fully some time."
"I will. But I guess not right now since I have to monitor Rex."
"What does it say now?"
"His nanites are all over the place. It feels like he's burning them out trying to heal himself and his Omega Nanite is having a hard time keeping up production."
"And that Meta-Nanite?"
"I'm sure Black Knight extracted it from him. I can't believe we never found that nanite all the times we've examined him… Wait, there was an anomaly a year ago when Rex said that something spoke to him…"
"He did?"
"Oh, right sorry… the memory thing. We were in an old base in the Arctic offloading his extra nanites when the Pack came…"
"I think I read that file. A traitor named Weever was selling Van Kleiss the dormant nanites."
"Yes! And he paid a huge price for that… Anyway, when you and Rex were fighting Weever who had turned EVO, Rex mentioned that something spoke to him."
"That wasn't in the report."
"I left it out. I wasn't sure I wanted White dissecting him to find out."
"Find out what?"
"There was an odd nanite code... but the strange thing is that after that incident… it vanished into thin air. I was never able to locate it again."
"And you think that this might have been the Meta-Nanite?"
"I don't know, but it does explain a lot."
"I guess. But it doesn't help our present situation."
"You're right, Six. But being a scientist… I want to know… It feels like she knew Rex was back and decided to attack."
"You're changing topics but yes, it does. Then again Black Knight is devious."
"On the bright side, I'm glad she vacated Providence. White's back at the helm at least."
"Yes, apparently there are more members of the Consortium but who were not aware of the other fives intentions. They contacted White and offered him his old job back after they got word that they went rogue."
"I wasn't aware of that. So there are others running Providence? But I guess that makes sense."
"Just minor share holders. But now that the other five have vacated their positions The Committee took over."
"The Committee?"
"That's what they're calling themselves."
"The names they give themselves… Well, that's none of my business what they call themselves… as long as they are on our side."
"They are... for now."
"You always sound so ominous."
"Sorry, it's the pessimist talking."
"No… you're a realist. I appreciate that."
"Not always."
"There are days… but you know Six, you help keep me grounded."
"And you me…"

"Six! I think… I think his nanites are finally stabilizing."
"Good. We're almost back at base."
"Great, then I can get to my lab and examine him for real."
"Do you need any… anything?"
"... Oh, we're landing? I don't even know where to go. I don't know what kind of damage Black Knight did to my lab."
"I talked to White. He said that she just boarded up your lab."
"Great. Help me wheel Rex there?"
"Of course."

"Thank you, Six."
"Do you need anything else?"
"No, just let me work. You can check back later."
"I will… And Holiday?"
"Yes?"
"Call me if there's…"
"I will."
So second to last episode. I can't believe I'm almost done. This has to be my hardest chapter yet. What would Six and Holiday say to each other? Are they concerned about Rex? But if you remember in the last episode Six comes in and asks how Rex is doing and Holiday tells him not to worry so it doesn't seem like she's worried. So where's the drama in that? So I'm filling in the missing time between the two episodes as well as trying to tie up loose ends from previous episodes. I'm not sure if things make sense but I hope it does.
