This story is about seven crazy, wild teen girls (Sakura, Ino, Hinata, Tenten, Temari, Matsuri, Karin) as best friends doing the craziest of things that friends would do together. Their dares are crazy, their 'fun time' is insane and their games are insanely crazy. They find love, make strong bonds and everlasting friendships as they grow together. (Multiple couples)
Sakura forcefully got up from the comfort of her bed, the feeling of sleepiness still lingered throughout her body. She looked at her little black clock on the bedside table that her mom bought for her with sleepy, red eyes. Her sight was slightly blurry but she had managed to see that it read 3:49 a.m.
She did a double-take because she could not believe that she actually got up this early, it wasn't like her at all to awake any time before 7:00 when she didn't have school. She glimpses down to see the plug for her alarm clock was not plugged in. Glancing around her bed she searched for her cell phone, her hands dug under her pillows where she found it. Flipping open her phone, she notices it was actually 10:35 a.m., she chuckled lightly, 'that's more like it' Sakura thought to herself.
This is why she didn't like the little clock, she only kept it because her mother insisted she did, she made a mental note to throw it into her storage box that sat at the back of her closet because it was just taking up space. She lazily rubbed the sleep out of her eyes until realization sprung on her. Shivers ran up her back as her body went into protective mode, acting as if it was in danger, she might as well be with what she did.
Quickly she dashed out of bed and started scrambling for clothes to wear and stuffing things that may be needed in a strap handle clutch bag, including money of course. If she was going out with Ino money would defiantly be needed. She ran into her bathroom to wash her face and take a quick shower. She was late and had to hurry it up. Minutes later she was downstairs dressed in black short pants, a red shirt, a pair of black rubber slippers on her feet, and the red clutch bag around her shoulder. Ready to go, at least she was physically, not so much mentally with the annoying lecture she was sure to get.
Ino was going to kill her she was supposed to be at her house at 9:00 but here she was riding her bicycle as fast as she could and it was 10:50. She did not necessarily fear the blonde but, in her dear friend Shikamaru's words, it was such a drag dealing with an annoyed Ino. Sakura laughed at that thought.
...
"So guys, I heard a new family is moving in next door to Tenten's house, I'm not too sure on the details, sadly, but yeah...we'll get details when she comes I hope, I'm curious as hell, it may mean new students next semester...besides, where are she and Sakura anyway?" Karin asked glancing momentarily at her friends as she twisted Matsuri's brunet hair into a fancy bun on top of Ino's purple-covered bed. Matsuri winced as Karin momentarily got distracted and pulled her hair a little too tight.
"I don't know...but what I do know is that if they are not here in the next ten minutes I'm going to cook them and feed them to Choji…shut up, I said what I said." Ino snared, a bit embarrassed at what she said but she was sticking to it, sometimes her unfiltered thoughts just came out her mouth and surprised even her. But she was Ino Yamanaka so she'd held her head high even after saying such things.
They were going to explore a sale/flee market downtown that was in their hometown Konoha for the day, so they had limited time. But this was not just any sale/flees market, this one was going to have a lot of popular stuff that the blonde couldn't get anywhere but online and shipping was expensive.
"I will never shut up when you talk shit like that, so, one you can't cook for shit, even if your brand clothes were at risk and the only way to save it was your cooking, bye-bye brand clothes," Matsuri held a finger up to stop Ino from interrupting her before the blonde could open her mouth she knew she was going to protest. "Two you can't catch Tenten or Sakura, you failed gym not so, and three gross what the heck goes on in the brain of yours, you know what I don't want to know, but what I do want to know is why is it so important for you to go to this flee market anyway?" Matsuri asked making faces at Ino with her every word to egg on the girl further, rolling her eyes at Ino's glare. She hated when Matsuri did that and she always did.
Hinata walked in with some soft drinks in her hands in time to hear the conversation and answered for the blonde not wanting the two to start arguing again like they always do. "Because it's Ino, when there is shopping involved she goes crazy and because this is the 'glam girls' sales they have lots of her favorite things." Ino smiled at the raven-haired girl and shot her a thank you look. She really didn't feel like explaining herself right about now, the dark cloud over her head was growing every passing second her two missing friends were late. "I'm glad one of my friends knows me well, huh."
She sighed and pouted 'what's taking them so long' she thought getting annoyed, angry, and even more depressed. She should've told them to meet her there instead, by now she was certain she'd missed a lot of good sales.
As if they had heard her thoughts, or sense the bad mood two heads, a pink and brunet came in like a flash of colors panting loudly, Sakura with flushed cheeks from running gave an embarrassed smile as she spoke up first. "Sorry, Ino but I had an errand to run." She lied, if she told Ino she slept in she'll definitely be signing her death wish. Plus she didn't want to hear about it for the rest of her life, knowing Ino, she'd remind her every chance she got. Ino would bring it up while she was on her death taking her last breath.
"I had to go say 'hi' to the new neighbors," Tenten said dryly, not really fazed by Ino's death glare, she was so done with everything at that moment. She robotically walked over to Ino's bed and drop herself onto it.
"Well, let's go." Karin said while getting up to leave, the other girls followed her out the door. Tenten groaned as she had to get back up when she had just lay down, Ino stood over her with her hands on her hips making sure she didn't try staying behind. "It's about flipping time!" Ino purposely slammed the door behind her as they left, but at least that little dark cloud was completely gone now.
...
While walking through the market Ino was goggling over nearly every piece of clothes and jewelry she saw. The other girls were excited too as they walked along with each other with small talk, mostly about plans for the rest of their vacation all while stopping Ino from spending all her money at one stall. That wouldn't end well at all, a broke miserable Ino was no fun.
Matsuri glanced at her friend, she decided to ask Tenten what she assumed most of them were thinking of. "So what the new neighbors are like are they weird or cool or mad people who kill girls like Ino?" Tenten looked at her brunette friend and giggled and thought for a while. Matsuris's aim in that was to annoy the blonde, but Ino was too lost in her shopping mode to even bother with a comeback. She shrugged and looked at Tenten for an answer.
"Well, there are three kids, the girl and one of the guys is our age and the other boy is a little older than us...the mum's nice, the dad... is kind of scary...I did not meet the kids, but the woman told my mum about them, she's a friendly person really...I didn't catch their names though." Tenten explained absentminded and looked around not really interested in discussing her neighbors at the moment. Sure she was curious about them but not to the point of discussing it, not right now at least. Something had caught her attention distracting her even more from the conversation they were having.
"Oh." Is all Matsuri was able to say when Tenten moved forward away from her at the speed of light, a kind of speed Rock Lee would be proud of. Tenten got everyone's attention on her by speaking loudly and pointing at the thing that got her all hyper. "Look, guys! A skateboard I totally have to get it." And with that, the girl ran off again heading straight to the black and blue board her eyes almost sparkling with excitement. They all snickered at her, Tenten loved her sports equipment were like Ino loved her makeup.
But as she reached out to get it a girl with sandy blonde hair took it up and examined it, Tenten huffed and walked up to the girl ready for a fight, she saw it first she wasn't leaving without it, she didn't care how childish she was being. "Are you going to buy that?" She asked dryly, the girl turned to look at her with as much determination in her eyes as she did. Both eyed each other, none of them backing down from the intense stare.
"I was planning to...why...do you want it?" The girl finally asked her bringing the board closer to her body and before she could answer Matsuri was beside her fuming like a little kid. Her mouth was hanging open as she pointed at the girl in disbelief. Even Ino took her eyes off the top she was looking at to see what the commotion was about but learning from Tenten's mistake she kept her hand on it.
"Temari Sabaku?" Matsuri asked, her face as bright as a charismas tree now, all her friends and the girl...Temari turned to look at her in question. Matsuri was almost bouncing on her spot now, a big open mouth grin on her face, her eyes went big and doe-like whiles she squealed in excitement.
"The one and only...wait Matsuri is that you?" Temari asked with a big grin on her face moving closer to the girl. The skateboard was long forgotten and curiosity leaked from each girl's confused minds as Matsuri and Temari exchanged hugs. "I can't believe my eyes I never thought I'd find you here." Temari pinched the girl's face and chuckled.
"Same, oh my gosh I'm so happy thought." Matsuri jumped on Temari once again hugging her tightly making the blonde laugh. She was quick to pull away when her eye met Tenten's confused ones, realizing all her friends were just standing there awkwardly watching them.
"Guys, this is Temari Sabaku my besty from where I used to live, in Suna." She then turned and pointed to each girl and introduced them one by one. "This is Tenten, Hinata, Ino, Sakura, and Karin, my new gang." All smiled politely and greeted Temari warmly giving a little wave each, but still craved knowledge of this girl Matsuri never mentioned to them. She had some serious explaining to do.
...
Later that day they gathered in Ino's room again their many shopping bags scattered the floor, most of them being Ino's. But that was the least of their concern as each girl looked at Matsuri, waiting for answers from her. Said girl didn't like the attention she got and asked. "What do I have something on my face or what? Like, stop with the staring already." She went back to looking at her phone wondering if she should text Temari or not. She had so much catching up to do, a lot she wanted to find out about. Her stomach flourishes at the thought of her old friends being in Konoha that she'd get to see them and hang out with them again.
Sakura was the one to talk first since no one was going to, they weren't sure how to address the matter so she was going to take lead. "Well, spill...who's this Temari girl we never heard of and now she's your besty?" Each girl eyed her awaiting her answer, they had their own questions as well.
Matsuri did not want to talk about it, but she knew they wouldn't let it go, so she took a deep breath and began. She might as well get it all off her chest.
"Well, Temari…long story short...she saved my life...literally...I was being bullied by some bitches for no reason and they beat me up and kicked me down a hill and left me there one day. I had broken an arm and a leg...she found me and got help and if she didn't do that I would have bled to death because I had hit my head so hard it bled and I couldn't even feel it, I mean it hurt a bit but I was kind of numb." It was going to come up eventually, she knew that, but she was hoping it would have been way, way later on. The story brought back bad memories and the darker days that Temari had to help her get over.
Temari had spent a lot of time helping her through that and help her open up a lot to become the bright spirit she was now. The Matsuri she was today was because of Temari and the boys.
Everyone was silent and Matsuri scanned their faces for some kind of reaction to what she had just told them. They were all saddened by the news, she could tell, the atmosphere in the room became gloomy and she didn't like it one bit. Another reason she didn't like talking about it, they all knew her as this bright bubbly girl, they wouldn't have thought she went through such a hard time in the past. This was just the surface of it but she didn't want to dig deeper than that, the pass was the pass and she didn't want to think about it anymore.
"I'm sorry Matz...that I pushed you to talk about this…I didn't think it was like that." Sakura apologizes, each girl nodding in agreement knowing they were to blame as well, all their questions are forgotten not wanting to upset the girl further. Hinata reached over and rest her hand over her friend's shoulder. "It's ok really, how'd you know." Matsuri smiled trying to reassure them.
Karin had the need to lighten the mood, she couldn't stand the tension hanging over them, so she said with a little fist pump. "Well, I for one like Temari...so we could let her join the group if you know what I mean." She wiggled her brows at them a smirk forming on her lips as they all look at her. She grins as she saw the expressions on their faces change to brighter ones, especially when Matsuri physically went back to being herself, a comedic worried but excited look came across her face.
Everyone smiled evilly at this except Hinata who wore a worried look on her face knowing exactly what the girls had in mind. The last time Matsuri was the one to join their group and things got way out of control. Her friends weren't normal and she loved that about them, but sometimes it worried her. They were too wild at times and she was the only voice of reason in the chaotic group.
Laughter was heard all around the room as they remembered the things they did and considered 'fun'. "Come on guys, do not be too hard on Temari ok besides I didn't mention she got a temper, something like Tenten's and she can be a little like Ino when she's ready, that combination is not something to mess with unless you wanna die." Matsuri said and everyone turns to her and gasped. 'This is going to be fun' Sakura thought with a smirk, she already loved Temari, knowing she will be a perfect addition to their group.
Every time someone joined the little group they gave that person tasks to do. And most of the time these tasks could be a little wacky; this is why Hinata was so worried. Poor Temari didn't even know what was coming her way.
