Location:?
An empty white void, none shall exist in this plane of existence. However, there was, miraculously, a large gate with symbols and clouds moving at the endless white sky...
And a pink-haired girl lying on the ground panting.
"Are you sure you don't want to take a break for now Louise?" A rough voice spoke out to the small girl who desperately trying to capture as much air as possible.
In front of Louise is a young adult with white spiky hair and heterochromia eyes, his left eye being green and his right being red. He wears a vibrant red sleeved coat with two long thin tails hanging from the back. Under it is a black shirt with three red belts and several belts covering his right arm. He wears a pair of black gloves with a red shell on the backs of the hands. He wears black trousers and steel-toed red boots. He has a bright green stud earring on his left ear, not on the lobe of the ear but further up.
"Yes, I am. Just give me a moment." Louise insisted. This dream world, or the Boundary as Ragna once told her, doesn't follow many principles of logic itself. To her, she can stay as long as possible if she wishes to just to recover and continue their activity.
The white-haired man crossed his arm and frowned at her. He didn't like this attitude one bit. But he would be hypocritical if he didn't realize how did her stubborn nature escalate, and it all began from him.
The girl noticed his expression and glared at him. "Please don't look at me like that. If I say I can keep going means I can. It will be a dishonor for me to let this impede my progress."
Ragna stared at her for a moment before he sighs. "If you insist then. But I think it's time for…"
Louise's vision becomes blurry. 'Why is it have to be now...' she thought to herself.
She doesn't look forward to the upcoming hell. She merely took solace in this white void, where she could lose herself in this training. However, in her noble pride, she supposed she has obligations to fulfill.
"… you to wake up now." She pushed herself up from the floor and stare at her translucent, fading figure. "I supposed we are done for the night." The girl sound disappointed as she faded away.
But before her consciousness leaves, she did hear Ragna said his piece.
"You can do it out there. Don't worry about what everyone says."
If only it's that simple.
Location: Louise's room
Bright light shines directly to the pinkette's eyes, indicating it is indeed morning. The girl woke up grumpily, trying to think back what today's agenda was.
Puzzles clicked as she remembered today was the Summoning Ceremony. She was well aware that she does not have any confidence to get something as great as a dragon or griffin.
'Or even something will come out…' She shook her head and slapped her cheeks lightly. Now was not the time to have negative thoughts!
"Well, time to get myself ready. If not, I might be late."
Louise then got out of her bed and walk towards her closet and begin to change into her academy uniform; Which consisted of a long cape over a white uniform, knee-length skirt, and long black stockings.
With all done, she took a deep breath and left her room.
Location: Hallway
Students are starting to get out of their room to the cafeteria. The usual scene of students flooding the hallway is in-front of Louise. Students from different backgrounds all gather at this Academy to improve their magic. Among the student, she found the woman she despises in the academy the most.
Kirche von Anhalt Zerbst.
She has long red hair all the way down to her skirt and tan wore brown ankle heels and the same academy uniform, but her uniform was so tight that her cleavage was exposing for every man and women to see. Obviously, the men are ogling over her and the women are giving her a glare with jealousy.
The redhead then saw Louise and walked up to her. "Hello there Zero." She emphasized her tone on the word Zero, which did not go unnoticed.
The pinkette internally sighed. First the negativity then now she was dealing with her nemesis. "I'm looking towards your 'Majestic and Powerful' familiar," Kirche said with an immense sarcasm and walked off laughing haughtily, thinking she had won before the battle even began.
'Just you watch you harlot. I will show you!' Louise thought while ignoring the redhead and continues her way to the cafeteria.
Location: Courtyard
The class for the second year was canceled due to the ceremony that they, the second-year student, need to participate. Colbert was the teacher who will supervise the entire ritual, ensuring the safety of the students and, if needed, give moral support. He gave a speech about the importance of the ritual, which Louise tuned out, and began the ceremony.
Everyone began to summon their respective familiars, each represented their own element. A blond-haired teenage boy called Guiche gets an oversize mole and his 'girlfriend', Montmorency, a teenage girl with twin blond pigtails, gets a frog. It perfectly fits their element, being [Earth] and [Water] respectively. During Kirche's turn, Louise could not believe she managed to get a Salamander and said species can be quite powerful when raised well. Even more astonishing is Tabitha, a blue-haired girl, manage to get a blue dragon, which immediately proves that the blue-haired girl was a very powerful individual.
"Has everyone finish their turn?" Colbert asked the crowd.
Right after he asked the crowd, Kirche turned to the nervous pinkette and her lips curve up to a sadistic smile then pointed her finger at her.
"There is still Louise here!" she instantly replied to Colbert. Louise momentarily stunned but quickly recovered from the shock.
'Ugh, guess I just need to face it. Well, here goes.' She thought before she walked out of the crowd and start her chant.
"My servant that existed somewhere in this vast universe, my divine, beautiful, wise, powerful servant, heed my call, I wish from the very bottom of my heart and add to my guidance and appear!"
And as expected by Louise, an explosion occurred. During her chant, Louise thought she heard Kirche said something but immediately dismissed it as she thought it was probably just her imagination.
While the smoke still lingers, everyone heard something they did not expect, the sound of a man.
"Jeez, what the hell?! Who in the right mind drop me at 50 feet above the sky?! At least give me a warning or something!" the unknown man shouted.
Louise's eyes instantly widen, as she recognized the man's voice. She hoped she was wrong but when the smoke cleared, her suspicion was proven correct.
The red coat, white hair, heterochromia eyes. Yes, it's definitely him!
"Huh? Where the hell am I and-" His sentence immediately stops, and his eyes widen when he saw a certain pinkette in front of him.
Their mouth fails to make a single word out. Only there is one word that is in their mind and they speak out the word.
"Ragna/Louise?"
Location: Boundary
Ragna watched as Louise's form vanished into the thin air. When walked towards the gate and meditate to relax while waiting. He doubted that his current situation would be possible for him to sleep anyway seeing as he doesn't even have a physical body to begin with after he ended the 'Dream of God'.
He had forgotten how long it had been since he walked through the Azure Gate and allow his world to be free from the cycle of destruction and renewal. A world that was not affected by intervention from the Amaterasu Unit or Takamagahara System. By doing so, Ragna allowed all 'possibility' to flourish in his world. There were a few times he wanted to go back to his world and see how far his action affected the world.
Unfortunately, he will not be able to return even if he wanted to. Not that anyone he knows will remember him anyway and nothing remains of his information in the Takamagahara System. As such, he won't be able to exist in his world.
He was pulled out of his thought when a light suddenly shined brightly in front of him. He opened his eyes and saw an oval-shaped, green portal in front of him.
'The hell is this?' Ragna narrowed his eyes as he stood up. 'There should be nothing in this place, so why is this portal here?'
He doesn't believe this portal was conjured by a familiar vampire, as the portal she conjures has always been black, plus there were no rose petals flutter by and disperse. Neither this portal was made by an angry cat-woman. Unless there was a huge leap in technology back in his world, it was completely impossible to go through the Gate without the Azure.
So, who was responsible for this portal?
'Well, I guess I should walk through the portal. I mean there is no harm in trying right?'
With that thought, Ragna walked towards the portal and he hoped he doesn't regret it.

Present
Currently, the grim reaper and the pinkette looked at each other, perplexed by what happened. Everyone was in complete silence, only the sound of birds chirping can be heard. With no one saying a word it was quiet for some time until Louise decided to break the ice by speaking first.
"W-what are you doing here in the academy?"
"How the hell am I supposed to know? All I did was walking through a green portal and I ended up here." Ragna huffed, frustrated by what was happening.
Looking around his surrounding, Ragna noticed that there are people around him, wearing the same uniform as Louise. Each of them was teenagers, possibly around sixteen to seventeen years old, staring at them curiously as if they are judging him. From their looks alone it seems that they are very disappointed. Ragna is immediately pulled out from his thought by Louise's shout.
"Hey! Are you listening to me Ragna? I was asking what you are doing here, and you answer only half of the question."
Ragna immediately looks at her and apologizes to her. "Sorry, just shocked by all this stuff."
"Louise," a member of the crowd called, "before both of you start to ignore all of us over here, can you explain why did you summon a commoner?"
"Isn't it obvious?" another person said. "She's Louise the Zero after all!"
The crowd immediately started laughing at her. Louise, who had endured this for long managed to try her best to ignore them and focus on Ragna. Luckily, the bald teacher raised his hand and stop the laughter.
"Miss Valliere, you have to hurry and finish the ceremony. The next class will begin at any minute. How much more time are you going to take for this summoning? Hurry and form a contract." Colbert instructed her with urgency, intending to get the class to begin on time.
Louise sighed, understanding her teacher's frustration. She turned to the grim reaper who remained on the same spot, sitting down looking at her with an unreadable look.
"So, shall we finish it?" Louise asked him.
"Well it's not like I have anywhere I can go, might as well stick with you," Ragna replied while picking himself up. The tall man walked towards to the pinkette until he was in front of her and then nod to her. She immediately replied to him with a smile.
"Please kneel Ragna, you're too tall." Ragna immediately complied with a ghost of a smile and kneeled. Louise just rolled her eyes and waved her wand to begin her chant.
"My name is Louise Francoise Le Blanc de la Valliere," she declared. "Pentagon of the Five Elemental powers, bless this humble being and make him my familiar."
Louise leaned closer to him and started to blush. Ragna quirked his eyebrow in confusion. The girl, on the other hand quickly moved away from him and looked at Colbert. "Mister Colbert… does it have to be on the… Uhm… lips?" That immediately prompted him to understand why the pinkette was blushing. The grim reaper couldn't but internally sigh. 'There is someone out there probably laughing at me… and I think I know who.' Ragna thought.
"There is no need for that I suppose, but for this situation, I have no idea how to deal with it. But if you wish to kiss other parts I suppose I will allow it." The old man gestured to her to continue.
The girl took a deep breath and smooched his forehead kiss quickly. She turned her face away from him, hiding her embarrassment while mumbling about how she only do that to her father.
Suddenly, Ragna's body turned hot and agitated through his veins, like molten lava trying to erupt from his body. Ragna immediately hissed, clenched his teeth and he formed a fist with his left hand. Once the pain was gone, he immediately pulled off his glove and he saw a collection of runes that he does not understand what it meant.
"Oh," the bald teacher leaned down and examine the etchings on the back of Ragna's left hand. "Those are some very strange runes..." He examined it with intense concentration.
"Well," Colbert stood back up and turned towards the class. "Let's go back to class, everyone."
With a swing of his hand, Colbert rose gently into the air. Ragna widened his eyes but immediately recover. It was not a surprise for him anyway since he used to saw his former friend Nine did the same thing, but with higher speed. Then one by one every student raised into the sky along with the teacher.
All except Louise.
"Well, I guess we should walk back to your class then." Ragna looks at the downcast pinkette and she nodded slowly. Even after she accepted the fact that she could never perform the same, it didn't mean it doesn't sting. Ragna lifted his right hand to pat her head and ruffle her hair.
"Hey, don't feel bad okay?" She lifted her head to see his face, seeing a gentle smile. "You have a long way to go for sure, but one day you can do more than that. Until then, we will train along with controlling whatever your power is." The girl stared at him for a moment before sigh through her nose, relaxing with a small smile.
"Thank you, Ragna. I think I needed that." And with that the duo walk towards her class building.
