The events of this story center around Bertolt Hoover, my favorite AoT character. It mostly take place between the end of Season 2 and the beginning of Season 3 Part 2 in the anime and right before the "Return to Shiganshina" Arc in the manga. But I will also continue on after that. I still don't know how many chapters I'll write total but we'll see as I flesh out the story.

It was the only way to break the Curse of Ymir. However, 25 years on, unexpected events take place. The Curse returns, the Walls stand tall and the Titans have returned once more.

The 49th exterior scouting mission didn't go exactly as planned. For one they didn't expect to see a man outside the walls and neither did they expect the mess that may follow.
