It takes a tragedy to teach the young businesswoman Emma to put love ahead of work and open up to her musician girlfriend Regina.

When Emma Swan starts getting phone calls and texts from an unfamiliar number, she decides to check it out–only to discover the number belongs to Killian Jones, who was killed in a robbery gone wrong six months ago. With some help from a medium, Merlin Emrys, Emma hopes to find out why a dead guy is contacting her–and why she feels such a strong pull to someone she has never met

Nothing much has changed. Everyone is still stuck in Storybrooke, just waiting for a fifteen-year-old Emma to break the curse. Her relationships look different, her family dynamic looks different, but she is still the Savior.

The last thing Emma remembers is walking the dark roads alone at midnight. Something in the back of her mind keeps snagging with recognition when it has no reason to; keeps telling her there is something missing... And then she sees Regina.
