So, I'm not dead, I just haven't really been feeling that great emotionally. Nothing bad really happened, just… really didn't feel up to doing anything. The only exciting thing that happened was my school chromebook, which I bravely write this fanfiction on, decided to overheat to the level where you could cook ramen noodles on it. So then I had to let it cool off for the day. Oh, I'm going on vacation today for a week so I will do my best to see if I can update, but it is unlikely Season finale! I'm excited and really pumped up for season 3. Enjoy!

Claudia: Ezran, I hope you know I never meant to hurt you or Callum.

Ezran: It was scary, Claudia. How you acted.

Claudia: I know. And I am so sorry.

Ezran: Thank you. Don't worry about me, I'll be safe.

Claudia: I'm surprised to see you here. And even more surprised you weren't that banther's dinner.

Ezran: I kind of have a way with animals. And banthers are actually pretty friendly. They like praise, compliments, and a friendly scratch under the chin every now and then.

Claudia: Hey, that's like me!

Ezran: Whoa!

Claudia: Wanna go up there?

Viren: I should end this right now! Throw the mirror into a river and cut you off forever.

"Good idea. Go do that." Lain said.

Aaravos: You won't. You are too curious. Hungry for knowledge and power. Both things I can provide. Allow me… to earn your trust.

Viren: And how would that work, exactly?

Aaravos: Search your heart. There's something that you want very badly. But… something or someone… stands in your way.

Viren: I… I am having a problem getting some people to listen to me, to hear the importance of what I'm saying.

Aaravos: Who are these people?

Viren: They are Kings and Queens. The leaders of the other four human kingdoms.

Aaravos: Then we will have to get their attention.

Claudia: So… Ezran, why are you here? And by yourself?

Ezran: I found out something. My dad…

Claudia: That's okay. You don't have to talk about it if you don't want to. I know it's not the same, but… when I was a kid, my mom and dad split up. I remember hearing them fight a lot at night after we went to bed. And then one day, they told up Mom was moving back to Del Bar, where her family was from. And then they said… we had to choose. And Soren chose Dad. How could I choose? How could I do that? Then my mom looked at my dad, and she told me to stay. She said I had to stay with Soren, that this was my home, and my brother and I needed each other. And then she left.

"In the end, you understand that the villains are just as broken as you are. They are the ones who got left behind." Rayla said sadly.

Ezran: But how could she do that? Why would she leave you?

Claudia: I think she needed to leave for herself. To be happy… somehow. You might have noticed my dad is pretty intense.

Ezran: You must miss her.

Claudia: Losing her has been the hardest thing that's ever happened to me.

Ezran: When you grow up, sometimes there are changes you don't expect, and you have to face things you're not ready for. Callum told me that.

Claudia: You are so lucky to have a brother like Callum.

Ezran: I know.

Claudia: And...I'm lucky to have my brother. Soren is a doof, but he's my doof! I know he would do anything to protect me, and I would do anything for him. Ezran, you don't just have a way with animals… you can talk to them, can't you?

Ezran: Yes. I can talk to them. I need you to help me find something in the forest. If I can find milk-fruit, maybe I can help Soren.

Rayla: Callum! Wake up! You've got to stay with me!

"You sound so… desperate." Viren said.

"I didn't want to lose my friend." Rayla said.

Dream/ nightmare thingy. Drowning counts as a nightmare right?

Sarai: Breathe. Breathe. Breathe. Callum, you need to breathe. You just need to breathe, sweetie.

Callum: I feel so overwhelmed with everything. I… I have so many thoughts, things racing through my head. Sometimes you just need to focus on the present, take a deep breath and just be.

Rayla: Oh, Callum! Please, come back. It doesn't matter what you did before. I just want you to be okay again. Callum!

"Wait...what? Why is it glowing?" Ethari asked. Rayla and Future Callum grinned at each other.

Dream

Sarai: Sometimes things can get so complicated that our minds can't quite sort them out alone. But when you slow down and let yourself breathe, your spirit and your body can catch up with your mind, and help out.

Callum: I just have to… breathe?

Sarai: To know something truly and deeply, you must know it with your head, hand, and heart. Mind, body, and spirit. I love you with all of myself and I always will.

Rayla: I can't lose you like this, you mean too much to me! Callum, I...I...Oh! Look, you're awake now. You're even looking cheery. And is that a twinkle in your eye? Oh, no. That's not a twinkle, it's one of those sleep crusties.

Rayla put her head in her hands to hide her embarrassment.

Callum: I have it.

"He has what?" Lujanne asked. The others nodded curiously. Future Callum tried to hide a smile.

Callum: I understand the Sky Arcanum.

"Wait...What? How? How is it even possible for a human to understand that?" Lujanne asked, mystified. Future Callum shrugged.

"That isn't possible. There has never been a human who can do primal magic" Runaan said.

"Maybe Callum is a rare type of human?" Ethari guessed.

"Well, Runaan, there are old records of humans learning primal magic, but that was before Xadia and the humans split." Lain said.

"Since when did you find the time to read? I honestly don't believe he's figured it out." Tiadrin said. Lain shrugged.

Ezran: This is where the squirrel said we should go.

Claudia: There, I see it. A milk-fruit bush.

Ezran: Look, Claudia! There's a family of deer here. I almost forgot how deer love milk-fruit!

Claudia: Yes. Yes, they do. Callum needs you. Do you know the way back?

Ezran: I've got plenty of friends to help me if I get lost.

Claudia: I'm so sorry. I'm sorry if the things I did before were frightening or confusing. I care about you and Callum a lot.

Ezran: I know.

Rayla: You understand the Sky Arcanum now?

Callum: It's not one simple thing. It's all the things. They just had to come together, you know? It's like, I used to hold the power of the sky in my hand, right? But now that's gone. But, Rayla, the whole world is like a giant primal stone, and we're inside it! I'm inside sky magic, but it's also in me, with every breath I take.

Rayla: That kinda makes sense!

Callum: Yes! And I kept thinking about birds, and sails, and how they connect to the wind. And I thought I had to find my wings… but that's just it, I am the wing!

Rayla: That makes less sense… but okay!

Callum: Moment of truth. Let's see if I can really do this.

Everyone sat on the edge of their seats in anticipation. Tiadrin still looked doubtful and Runaan chose the wrong time to drink a glass of water which magically appeared next to him.

Callum: Aspiro.

The group looked amazed and surprised. Runaan choked on the water he was drinking and let his jaw drop. Lujanne looked hopeful for a new generation of humans who may be able to learn Moon Magic.

"How is that possible?" Viren asked bewildered.

" I can't really explain it. It sort of became a part of me." Future Callum said.

"A human connecting to a primal source. I never thought I'd live to see the day when a human achieved such a feat." Ethari said.

Rayla: Ezran, you're back!

Callum: He was gone?

Ezran: I love your zappy kisses. Callum, you figured it out? You can do magic again!

Corvus: That's incredible, Prince Callum.

Callum: Thanks. Uh… who are you?

Rayla: You missed a few things while you were out. This is Corvus. He's on our side now.

Corvus: I've always been on the same side. I serve the young king.

Callum: What?

Ezran: I know about Dad.

Callum: I… I don't know what to say. I'm so sorry that I didn't tell you. I tried to, but I just… couldn't.

Claudia: I'm sorry little one, but you are agile, young, and alive… and I need you.

Male Doctor: Hey! What are you doing?

Woman Doctor: You can't be in here! The patient needs rest.

Soren: Claudia? What… What are you doing? Hey, what's… what's this? I can… I can move my toes. I can move my toes! I forgot how much I love wiggling them. I can… I can feel again! I can feel my knees, and my strong, powerful thighs. And my ribs! Ahh! Ugh! I broke ribs, didn't I? It's horrible! I can feel again! Ahh! Claudia. Clauds, are you okay?

Claudia: You're gonna be better now. That's all that matters.

Rayla: Everything's packed and everyone's healthy. And we're just a few hours from the border of Xadia.

Callum: Packed and ready! Let's do this.

Ezran: Callum. When you told me assassins were coming for Dad, I ran away and hid in the walls.

Callum: With a healthy stash of jelly tarts as I recall.

Ezran: Yeah. And when I found out Dad was gone forever, I ran away again. I've been running away from things my whole life. But I can't run away from growing up.

Callum: Now that you're King Ezran, are you gonna start saying wise things like that all the time?

"I hope not. I don't need any more heartfelt speeches from you two." Rayla teased.

"You sure? I got plenty." Future Callum said. Rayla pushed him playfully and chuckled. Runaan looked at them suspiciously. Something was going on between them and he was going to find out.

Ezran: When you grow up, you have to face things you're not ready for.

Callum: Wait, what?

Ezran: I'm not going with you to Xadia. I have to face my responsibilities. Now that I'm King, I have to go home. Maybe I can help the world better from the throne. I can do whatever I can to stop the war.

Rayla: Ezran, returning Zym to his mother is the world's best hope.

Ezran: I know! And you guys will do that. You'll find his mom, and Zym will take his place in Xadia, just like I have to take mine.

Callum: Ezran…

Ezran: I wish I could go with you, but I can't. You and Rayla will have to do this without me.

Corvus: I'll travel with the king, and keep him safe.

Rayla: Ezran, are you sure?

Ezran: I'll miss you, Rayla, but I'll see you again. I promise.

Rayla: You'd better. I know where you live.

Callum: As soon as Zym is home, I'll come back to help you. I love you.

Ezran: I love you, too. I'm so proud of you, little guy. You're going to grow up so strong and good. I'm sorry I couldn't help you learn to fly, but I know you'll get it soon!

Kinda leaving it in the middle of the episode because I have to get on my flight now. I'll try and update if I can.
