Chapter 40: Weirdmageddon Part 3: Emily vs Bill
(Emily's P.O.V)
"YAAAAAAAAHHHHH!" We cried as we burst through the doors of the Mystery Shack, weapons drawn and ready to attack.
"YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!" Another crowd echoed us, in a similar fashion.
"Wait." Dipper gasped.
"GRUNKLE STAN!" The younger twins cried and rushed over to him with tears in their eyes.
"Kids! I can't believe it! I thought I lost you two!" Stan gasped as he took the twins in his arms. Soos was quick to follow.
"Mr. Pines! It's really you! I've been hugging strangers to practice for this moment." Soos laughed as he hugged Stan tightly. I smiled and rushed over with Globby along with Wendy.
"We missed you, you old codger!" Wendy cried.
"I'm so glad your safe!" I added, tears in my eyes and we all relaxed.
"I've missed you knuckleheads, too. It's good to have you back." Stan chuckled as we broke the hug, and he paused when Ford cleared his throat.
"Um, hello Stanley." Ford greeted and Nate facepalmed.
"Real smooth." He muttered and I walked over to him and gave him a playful nudge.
"Oh, hey. You're still alive, huh?" Stan replied and a familiar figure pushed past him and looked up at Ford.
"...Fiddleford." He gasped and swallowed nervously. "I haven't seen you since we parted ways...you must hate me." Ford cast his eyes down and refused to meet his old friends gaze.
Everyone in the room went silent and Fiddleford removed his hat before smiling.
"I've tried forgetting...maybe I should try forgiving." He said and Ford looked up in shock and Fiddleford opens up his arms.
"Come here old friend!" He cried and the two embraced.
"Awwwwwwwwwww." Mabel and some others gushed as they reunited. I glanced over at Stan, who groaned in annoyance and sighed. I had a feeling this would be awkward.
"Not to interrupt this nice reunion...but what's everyone doing here?" Dipper asked as some Lilliputtians scurried past him.
"Yeah there's like monsters and gnomes, and is Pacifica wearing a potato sack?" Mabel gestured to Pacifica who sighed.
"Yeah, it has been a rough week for everyone..." She admitted, rubbing her arm.
"It's...it's a long story." Multi-Bear said.
"Hey, is anyone gonna feed me? Larry King's disembodied wax head wants num-nums." The head of Wax Larry King asked from the vents.
"We're trying to ration our food, remember?" Grenda groaned and got her hair chewed on by a wax head. "Uhh, it's happening again." She winced before Multi-bear closed the vents.
"Hey everyone!" We turned to see Pituitaur who was at the window and was sounding terrified. "EYE-BAT!"
Oh, right that's why.
"Evasive maneuvers!" A gnome cried as everyone else gasped. Stan was quick to slam the door and grab the twins.
"Shhh, keep it down!" Stan ordered.
"Hit the lights!" A gnome yelled and everything lit was shut off as the eye-bat turned a lone raccoon to stone and flew off.
I guess...cue theme song...
Once the all clear was called by Ford, Stan lit a match and threw it in a can filled with wood and flames engulfed them and everyone became visible.
"Welcome to what's left of normal around here. Home base." Stan deadpanned. I shuddered as I looked around at everyone, who was either hurt by simple bruises, or something more drastic like half stone or darts...like Toby.
"Ow!" He groaned as a gnome pulled out a dart and I noticed Sev'ral Timez sitting on the couch.
"We have." Greggy C. began and the rest of the group sang with him.
"Several injuries!" Then they winced in pain. "Oh, ow!"
"Ow my liver girl!" Chubby Z. winced.
"Dang, these guys have been through a...watch out!" Nate cried and before I could react I was suddenly squeezed in a tight hug as a familiar voice squealed happily.
"Emily! I'm so happy to see you! I missed you so much and have so much to tell you and catch up on! I was so worried when you weren't here! Bestie!" .GIFfany cried as she squeezed me in one of the tightest hugs I've gotten this summer.
"Hi, .GIFfany." I wheezed. "I missed you too...can I breath now?"
"Oh! Sorry!" She apologized as she let me go and I let in a deep inhale and Globby patted my head.
"It's cool. Glad you're okay, but where's...?"
"Ah! Rumble McSkirmish?" Dipper gasped and flinched as she saw the familiar video game figure that could totally take nearly everyone on in the Shack.
"Do not be afraid. Weridmageddon had taught me, there are some battles I cannot win. I am now Humble McSkirmish." He explained a -50 appeared above him as he lowered his head.
"Awww." .GIFfany pouted and have him a hug in an attempt to cheer him up.
"I'm sorry, why are video game characters here?" Ford questioned.
"Didn't Dipper fill you in on those two adventures?" I asked, but Mabel had more important questions.
"Grunkle Stan, how'd this all happen?" She asked him and Stan began to explain.
"So I was hammering signs out back when the sky started vomiting nightmares. I listen to a lot of AM radio so I knew what this meant: the end of the world. What I didn't expect was what happened next. The totem pole out back sprung to life and began to attack the Shack, but nothing happened. Turns out whatever you and my brother did to the shack with your unicorn voodoo made the crazy place invincible to weirdness." Stan finished explaining and Dipper's eyes widened.
"Of course, the unicorn spell. That's why this is the only place Bill's magic can't touch." He said in realization.
"Fascinating, I knew we would be safe from Bill's mind games, but I didn't realize his magic wouldn't be able to affect us as well." Ford gasped.
"Enough with the geek fest." Stan groaned. "Anyways, that's when Possum Breath over here shows up..."
"Don't call him possum breath." Ford deadpanned and Stan sighed again.
"That's when McGucket over here shows up leading a bunch of injured stragglers through the forest. They needed a place to stay and since the mayor got captured, I elected myself de facto chief. The plan's to stay in here and eat brown meat until we run out. Then I vote we eat the gnomes." Stan explained through gritted teeth before whispering the last part.
"Stanley I wouldn't advise..." Ford begun before being cut off.
"Hey! I'm short, not deaf!" Jeff cried angrily.
"Shh! Shh! Stress will make you chewy." Stan shushed, receiving a glare from the gnomes in the Shack.
"Also, he tried to forcefully marry Mabel, so you have every right to offer them up first." I grumbled as Dipper spoke up.
"Grunkle Stan, we can't all just hide inside the Shack. There's a town in need of saving. Me and Ford tried to do it, but we failed and Emily ended up captured..."
"WHAT!?" Stan exclaimed and glared at his twin. "You let Emily get captured by that freak!?"
"Hey, I managed to get out!" I added, but Stan wasn't done.
"Who knows what he would have done to you!" He yelled.
"If I didn't intervene, Ford would have ended up captured and he knows of a way to defeat Bill for good." I argued and the room went silent.
"You know of a way to defeat Bill?" Pacifica asked.
"Yes, it was actually in one of my journals. However, they only way to defeat him if we do it with Bill present." Ford explained.
"We'd have to head to Bill's death castle, and we need to free every from the throne of agony." I added.
"The what?" Most of the ones there asked and I grabbed the remote and flicked on the t.v. and the news played. Probably the only thing that was on at that point.
"This is Shandra Jimenez reporting live from the inside of Bill's castle. Here for the first time are images of what's happened to the captured townsfolk. Viewers are advised to look away if they don't want to see their friends turned into a twisted throne of human agony." Shandra explained as the camera panned over the throne where several familiar people were frozen in place much to the horror of everyone in the Shack.
"Mom and Dad?" Pacifica gasped.
"My family!" Wendy cried.
"Deputy Durland!" Sheriff Blubs exclaimed in horror.
"Is there no one who will save the people of this town? I'm Shandra Jimenez and I'm being turned into stone by a flying eyeball." Shandra said as she slowly was turned into a statue by an offscreen eye bat and the camera then went static, most likely chase the camera man had the same fate as she did. Everyone gasped in horror.
"Oh, no. My parents are bad but even they don't deserve to be turned to stone." Pacifica said with worry.
"Curse you, Bill! Why must you take everything we love?" Blubs cried before ripping his shirt off in agony as tears streamed down his face. Mabel then climbed onto the Multi-Bear and made an announcement.
"Guys, don't you see? Our friends need us, but we can only save them if we fight back." She declared and pulled her brother up.
"Mabel is right. Bill wants us to run and hide. He wants us to think he's invincible. But Ford just told us that he knows Bill's secret weakness." Dipper explained and the crowd turned to Ford and muttered amongst themselves. I then stood by the Multi-Bear and made my own little speech.
"I've been in this town for only a few months, and I've seen what you all can do. This place is amazing and really feels like home for me. And I know that we can over come this. Bill had made a mistake, he underestimated us, and he'll be sorry he messed with the people of Gravity Falls." I declared and the people nodded in agreement.
"YEAH!" They cried with determination.
"Now, if we band together, if we combine all of our strength, our smarts, our...whatever Toby has..." Dipper said, gesturing to Toby, who popped up from the crowd.
"Various rashes!" He cried.
"TMI dude." Nate winced before Dipper continued.
"...then we just might be able to rescue the town, use Bill's weakness against him, and save Gravity Falls!" He declared and everyone cheered with determination.
"Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Have you all forgotten who's in charge here? Besides, we're only safe inside! It's not like we can take the Mystery Shack to Bill." Stan explained as he cut us off.
"Hmmm. Stanley has a point." Ford mused.
"Did you just say I was right?" Stan asked in shock, only to be ignored.
"We can't make the formula for everyone here to wear, let alone for the people Bill is holding captive." Ford explained.
"Wha-Whoa! Holy hootenany! Flapjack and fiddlebanjos! Sorry, Sorry. Got a little excited." McGucket cried out and his foot began thumping so he slapped his knee before continuing. "What I meant to say is I think I figured out a way to fight Bill and rescue the rest of the town. But we're all gonna have to work together."
"Great! What is it?" .GIFfany asked eagerly. McGucket snapped his fingers and a gnome gave him his glasses and he gathered us around in a circle.
"Now. You just..." He began to explain his idea and everyone seemed to like it...well almost everyone.
"Don't worry everyone! We're coming for you!" Soos cried happily. I glanced back at Stan, who glanced at his sash with worry.
I hoped this worked.
"Alright. I've made some thingamadiculous robomajigs in my day, but this is the first one that won't be used for evil." McGucket explained as he laid out some blueprints on the table.
"Whoa! These blueprints are incredible, McGucket." Dipper said in admiration.
"Indeed, you've outdone yourselves old friend." Ford added, placing a hand on his friend shoulder.
"Aw, thank you!" McGucket said happily and gave Ford a tight hug.
"This is your most amazing invention yet." Mabel smiled excitedly and I nodded in agreement as Globby peaked over my shoulder to get a better look.
"Question, does it have any gun-swords? I watch a lot of anime and, uh, trust me, you're gonna want some gun-swords." Soos asked and McGucket gave him a confused look.
"What's an...'anime'?" He asked.
"We have much to discuss." Soos said simply.
"Discuss nothing! These scribbles are a bunch of cockamamie balderdash! Excuse my French." Stan exclaimed.
"Je ne sais quoi sacrebleu au revoir!" A French Lilliputian said from behind him. I held in a laugh at that.
"Stanley, it's a simple blueprint." Ford sighed, I gave him a glare at that.
"And where would you even find a bunch of idiots who would be crazy enough to build it?" Stan asked.
"Grunkle Stan, you're looking at those idiots." Mabel declared and every cheered happily.
"Idiots!" Soos cheered.
"Okay, but shouldn't we know what Bill's weakness is? It kinda seems like that'll be important." Pacifica piped up and we all turned to Ford, who sighed.
"I don't think that's wise...if I reveal it to you all and Bill captures you, he'll figure out that we all know it and then destroy the whole town to keep anyone from stopping him." Ford explained.
"That's a load of...poppycock!" Stan cried, pointing a finger at Ford and every gasped. "You keep saying there's a risk, but there's a whole town in danger! Of course it's risky! But what if Bill catches you, then what?"
"Then I can tell you his weakness." I said simply and I then realized what I just said and froze as all eyes turned on me.
"How do you know his weakness? I never told you." Ford asked and I glanced at everyone around me who was either confused or concerned.
"Um...I..." I sighed and took a breath. "I haven't been completely honest with you guys."
"What are you talking about?" Dipper asked and I hesitated for a moment. What should I tell them? They can't have a existential crisis right now! Urg...me and my big mouth.
"I knew about Bill's existence because...where I was from he was...he was a legend." I explained.
"Wait what?" Mabel asked and I nodded. Globby tightened his grip around me. Probably cause he sensed my nervousness.
"Yeah...when Soos found me...it wasn't because I ran away and got lost like I've led you to believe. It was because I fell through a portal from my dimension, into this one." I explained. Everyone was silent for a moment and I rubbed my arm nervously.
"How did you know you were in a new dimension if you're from a different Earth?" Dipper asked and I bit my lip before answering.
"Are you secretly a lost princess?" Soos added.
"What? No, not a princess." I said and then answered Dipper's question.
"After Stan closed up the Shack on my first day here, I checked out a few things. The numbers I called were either non-existent or the wrong person answered, and the last orphanage I lived in didn't exist either. They've been around for a while, so I knew it wasn't time travel...and I've heard of the multiverse theory, so it wasn't completely farfetched." I replied and Mabel walked over to me.
"Why didn't you tell us?" She asked, in a slightly hurt voice and I sighed.
"I...I didn't think it mattered. This is my home now, and I don't want to leave you. I thought if I told someone then...then you would think I wanted to go back, and I don't. I love it here, and I've had one of the best summers of my life...also you might have thought I was crazy." I explained, joking a bit on the last part.
"So, you know Bill's weakness? Is that why he's been so interested in you?" Ford asked and I shrugged.
"I do, and maybe. Back where I'm from Bill was...he was nothing more than an old campfire story. And his weakness was revealed in the ending." I explained and clapped my hands together. "That's not important right now, his weakness will be useless if we can't build this contraption. We got this!" I cried and everyone cheered.
"Alrighty then! To the junkyard!" McGucket cried and everyone stared at him in confusion.
"No really, there's a whole bunch of supplies we can get from there." He added.
"Oh!" The room chorused in realization and we got to work. After that trip, people started to make room in the Shack for everything that was a part of the machine and Stan was objecting to that.
"Whoa-what! What are you-? H-hey now! Hey hey! Don't touch that! Hey! Aah!" He cried as she saw his stuff being taking out and holes in walls being created.
"Sorry Stan..." I muttered. McGucket then called a few people to come with him to the mines. They left with multiple equipment and I sighed as Globby gave me a worried look. I patted him on the head and he jumped off my back before heading over to Waddles.
I sighed heavily and decided I needed some fresh air and headed outside the Shack and leaned against the wall on the outside. I rubbed my hands through my hair and sighed again. This was gonna work, we had Ford with us...this was gonna work...
This HAD to work.
"Hey." I turned to see Nate walking over to me. "Whatcha doing?"
"Nothing, just taking a little break." I replied.
"What a coincidence, me too!" Nate said and we both laughed. My smile then faded and I turned away from him.
"Are you...mad at me? I kinda kept a big secret from...everyone and..."
"Emily, hey..." Nate cut me off and turned my head towards him. "Look, I get it. Things were crazy for you these past few months and you didn't have anyone to talk to. I'm not mad...you mean a lot to me and I may not fully understand what you've been going through, but I'm here for you. Plus, getting mad never solves anything."
"Nate..." I felt tears in my eyes and I gave him a hug. "I really didn't deserve you..."
"Hey, quite stealing my lines!" He joked and I laughed before pulling him in for a kiss. We stood their silently and I felt my necklace pulse softly. For a brief moment, everything was perfect.
"HEY!" Nate and I flinched and pulled away from each other to see Stan glaring at us.
"Uh..." I managed to stutter out as my face grew hot.
"What do you think you're doing!?" Stan demanded crossing his arms.
"Um...taking a break?" Nate offered awkwardly and I facepalmed.
"Oh really?" Stan asked and I facepalmed.
"Stan, we've been dating for weeks...is now really the time?" I asked and Stan glared. Seriously? It was just kissing Stan geez...though it's sweet to show he cares.
"Hey it may have been a while, but I've been a teen once, and I know..."
"Okay! That's enough talk for today! We're leaving!" I said quickly and dragged Nate away as quickly as I could.
"Should I be worried?" Nate asked and I sighed.
"No...he's just trying to put up a tough guy act...probably." I replied and Mabel then rushed over to us.
"Guys! I made these for the campfire! Put them on!" She cried and tossed two very soft items in our face. I held it out and saw it was the seater Mabel knitted me earlier this summer, yellow on the top and green on the bottom with the colors at and angel. I smiled happily and turned to her.
"Thanks Mabel. I love it." I said before putting it on and Nate did the same with his sweater which was dark gray with a skull, similar to his tattoo on it.
"Yeah, these look great!" He added, admiring his and we all joined by the campfire to see the flag 'Take Back the Falls' written on it. Everyone was of course wearing Mabel's sweaters.
"Thanks for these apocalypse sweaters, Mabel. The end of the world has never been so comfortable." Soos said and the others nodded in agreement.
"Yes, I'll admit these are well suited for us." Ford agreed. I then noticed Pacifica was shivering in the wind and Mabel took the last sweater from the bag and held it out for her.
"I didn't forget about you! Now put it on before you freeze!" Mabel teased.
"Uh, thanks." She said and gingerly took it before putting the sweater on and looking down to see the llama symbol. "Cute."
"Yeah you are." Dipper blurted out, probably without thinking and quickly covered his mouth as his face flushed. "I mean…..yeah, it looks cute on you….and…well I mean. I'm gonna shut up before I make this worse."
"T-thanks Dipper." Pacifica blushed slightly and Mabel pulled her and Dipper into a one-armed hug.
"Admit it. This is the best day of the end of the world. I think we actually have a chance to beat Bill and win back our future." Mabel declared.
"Yeah. Getting to actually live to see our 13th birthday party is the only birthday present I want right now." Dipper replied solemnly. Ford looked over with a regretful expression.
"Hey, if we're lucky enough to get there, I guarantee this whole town is gonna throw you the best birthday party you've ever seen." Soos assured them and Ford leaned over to me.
"Do kids still wish on candles that are on their cake?" He whispered.
"Uh….yeah. Why, what they do in other dimensions?" I asked, noticing he flinched when I said 'dimensions' and he shuddered uncomfortably.
"Things I rather not repeat." He muttered.
"Thanks Soos. Hey, has anyone seen Grunkle Stan?" Dipper asked, looking around.
"I think he's out back with one of the gnomes." I replied and the twins got up to go check on him and I roughly pulled Ford.
"We should go too." I said in a stern tone and practically dragged him over to where Stan was venting.
"This whole plan is bonkers. But of course no one asked the chief what he thinks. After all I've done for everyone!" He groaned.
"Shmebulock!" Was the response from his current companion.
"Yeah, exactly, it's a total load of Shmebulock." Stan replied, not realizing that word was all this gnome could currently speak.
"Is something wrong, Grunkle Stan? You're acting grunklier than usual." Mabel asked as she and dipper came up. Stan sighed as he turned to them.
"It's this dark plan to save the town! We're up against a crazy nightmare demon who can do pretty much anything and Ford thinks he can save everyone with some fancy cure or whatever!" He complained and I glanced at Ford, who refused to meet my gaze.
"If you didn't notice, I already saved him once from that portal, and he never thanked me! He causes the end of the world, and somehow it's still always 'Stan's the screw-up, Ford's the hero'." He huffed and Dipper spoke up.
"Well maybe people think he's a hero because he doesn't want to hide in the Mystery Shack!"
"Well maybe if he hid in the Mystery Shack, he wouldn't have been captured, and Emily wouldn't have sacrificed herself for him!" Stan argued and Mabel cut them off before the fight escalated any further.
"Guys! Guys! Trust me, tomorrow's gonna be great! I believe in us." Mabel said sincerely as she brought them in a hug.
"Help! Leader Mabel! I keep accidentally flexing through my sweater." A manotaur, who I believe was Chutzpar, called over and flexed through his sweater. "Argh! It happened again!"
"Those weird cow-monsters are delightful! Coming!" Mabel called before rushing over and it was my turn to approach Stan while dragging his brother behind me.
"Oh great, what do you want?" Stan grumbled and I groaned before forcing Ford to sit down next to Stan.
"I want you both to suck it up!" I yelled and they both flinched at my raised voice.
"Uh, pardon?" Ford asked in confusion.
"We are about to go out and battle a crazy demon with unimaginable power, and if you both don't 'suck it up', our entire plan could go up in smoke!" I exclaimed and turned to Stan.
"We've been through so much this summer, you think we could have saved Waddles, stopped Gideon, defeated the zombies, or anything that happened this summer without supporting one another? No! We worked together, and defeated our challenges together. Yes we disagreed, but we came together in the end!" I explained and looked over to Ford.
"You've dealt with Bill on your own for so long, I get you made it this far, but look where that got you! I mean come on, you nearly went insane before you called Stan to help you. Like it or not, we have to work together to defeat Bill. So either you can let your argument potentially ruin everything we are trying to save, or you can set that aside until it's all over and deal with it then. And maybe a counselor too." I sighed as I finished my speech and clapped my hands.
"Well, that's pretty much all I had to say. No pressure, but if we fail and it's your fighting that caused it, I will haunt you both until the end of time!" I added and gave a playful wink before walking away and leaving the twin brothers alone.
Hopefully my words got to them…..cause I'm worried for what will happen if it didn't.
(Third Person)
Bill was floating in his penthouse of his pyramid. Not caring about the mess he made earlier in his rampage. Ever since Emerald and that dumb kid with the dumb hat got away, he felt empty. Like there was something he should have done….but couldn't somehow.
He hated that. Feeling like something was out of his control. Everything should be in his control! He killed Time Baby for Pete sake! And Pete should know…he was dealt with long ago.
Bill floated back and forth in the form of pacing and his mind, or whatever he had, was plagued with swirling thoughts and he hated every millisecond of it.
"'You'll never win this way.'" Something spoke up. and Bill scoffed as he continued pacing.
"Pfft, what do you know!?" He snapped.
"'A lot of things, specifically about you.'" It replied.
"Yeah right."
"'You're feeling very strange right now, you feel as if there is something missing.'"
"Shut up!" Bill growled.
"'Emerald has done many things that you cannot explain, and that scares you.'" The voice continued.
"Hey, I said shut up!"
"'This isn't the first time you felt upset…'"
"You're clearly deaf, cause I said SHUT UP!" Bill yelled angrily.
"'You're only upset because Emerald reminds you of something. Or, more specifically, someone.'"
"Shut. Up." Bill growled.
"'You still blame yourself for the destruction of something that was precious to you.'"
"Don't you dare!" Bill warned starting to turn red. "Don't you dare say it!"
"'…..your home….and your family.'"
"RAAAAAAAAH!" Bill screamed and started punching the nearest wall, not caring that he was causing cracks in it.
"'You refuse to acknowledge your feelings and that is why you'll loose.'" The voice merely said as if they were shrugging it off.
"I! DON'T! CARE! I will win! I will beat the Pines family and everyone in this stupid town!" Bill cried and with one last punch he made a hole in the wall and he was bright red and he breathed heavily.
"'No, you will loose this battle. Emerald will stop you, it's what you wanted anyway. You want to win another way.'"
"Huh, excuse me!?" Bill cried in confusion, but light chuckling was his only response.
"Uh, Bill?"
"WHAT!?" Bill snapped angrily, turning to see Keyhole flinching.
"Um…..the others are all gathered in the throne room…..for the meeting you called….." He explained, fearing that Bill would just eliminate him right there because of his anger.
"…..tell them I'll be there in a minute." Bill waved him off.
"Yes sir!" Keyhole gave a salute and rushed off without another word. Bill remained floating there and listened for the voice, but only silence was there.
"WELL DON'T MOCK ME! ANSWER ME! WHAT ARE YOU!?" Bill exclaimed, his voice shaking the walls.
"'You already know.'" The voice replied, barely above a whisper and. Bill's eye widened and he looked around as his expecting something to be behind him.
But he was alone.
"I'll show you, I will win! I'll be victorious on my own terms!" Bill declared and went on the throne room.
He doesn't plan on loosing.
(Emily's P.O.V)
Everyone was gathered inside our newest weapon and gathered around McGucket. We all knew what was at stake here, but we were ready to fight for our home!
"Alright, fellas. Let's hope this turns out better than my other inventions." He said and Mabel turned to her brother.
"Everybody ready? Dipper, now!" Mabel cried and Dipper pulled a lever causing wheels to turn and the machine to start up. The Shack started to stand up and we were swayed back and forth as our balance was lost.
"This is gonna be a bumpy ride." Nate commented and the Shack started walking and eventually I saw a few scattered citizens and noticed that Bud was burning some Gideon dolls. Who knew they were so flammable?
"We're approaching the Fearamid!" Ford announced as he looked through a telescope.
"Okay, going over plan one more time, cause it makes me feel better!" I said clapping my hands.
"Yay! I love the plan!" .GIFfany cheered happily.
"Oh my gosh me too!" Mabel cried excitedly and the two squealed.
"Guys, come on." I said and they calmed down. I took a breath and began explain the plan once more.
"Alright, first step is to take out Bill's army, they are powerful, but if we beat them Bill will be forced to exit the Fearamid. Once he does, rescue team will be able to enter no problem. Then we free the townspeople and get them out of there. Finally, Ford will reveal Bill's weakness and we use it, stop Bill, and save the world. Any questions?" I asked after I explained everything and no once said a word.
"Great, then let's; Take Back the Falls!" I cried and everyone cheered with determination.
"Alright McGucket, take the first shot!" I nodded and McGucket pulled on a lever and the T-Rex head crashed through the Fearamid and roared loudly.
"What?! I just fixed that door! And you just interrupted my meeting!" Bill yelled and I held in a laugh, that last part was knew…..oh right we had Ford with us…I have a thumbs up to Soos, who had Wax Larry King's Head on the flag, and he nodded in response and walked outside.
"It's the Shacktron dude!" Soos cried and held up the 'Take Back the Falls' flag proudly.
"They made the house into a robot. Fascinating!" Wax Larry King commented.
"So the mortals are trying to fight back, huh? Adorable! Henchmaniacs, you know what to do! Take them out!" Bill ordered and the henchmaniacs grew in size and jumped out of the hole and faced the Shacktron menacingly.
"This was a bad idea." Stan deadpanned.
"Ssh!" I shushed him and we turned back to the scene as Soos took out a megaphone, that was thankfully still working.
"Uh, hey, dudes. Is this thing on? Test…" Soos flinched at the feedback screeched in his ear. "Heh. Uh, I just wanted you monster dudes to hand over the townspeople you have prisoner, or we'll have to, like, fight and junk."
"Why did we think negotiating would work?" Ford asked.
"Cause we didn't want to get attacked right away!" I replied.
"Heh. Hey, you're a little cutie." Soos pointed over to Paci-Fire and I facepalmed.
"Tell me he didn't just call one of them 'cute'." I muttered, I nearly forgot about that part.
"I have butchered millions on countless moons." Paci-Fire deadpanned in a deep scary voice while his eyes glowed red.
"Whoa. I liked you better before you talked. Real... real bring down, this guy." Soos flinched uncomfortably.
"ATTACK!" Pyronica yelled and the demons charged towards the Shacktron.
"All right dudes!" Soos cried as he rushed back in the Shacktron with the flag in hand.
"Everyone! Like we planned! Three, two, one. Go!" Dipper ordered as we all got to our positions. Candy and Grenda operated the arms and punched away Paci-Fire and Kryptos. Mabel used Waddles, whose mouth as on a handle of a lever, and pulled him down causing the Shacktron to shoot several demons away.
"Ha ha ha. Good pig." Mabel laughed as Waddles squealed happily.
"We got eye-bats incoming!" Ford called over as the eye-bats started swarming us.
"Get em, Gobblewonker!" McGucket cried and pulled a lever causing the head of his second episode robot grabbed an eye-bat in its mouth. Meanwhile, Rumble, .GIFfany, and Wendy were on the roof.
"Hya! Hya!" Rumble cried, while shooting fireballs at the attackers.
"You leave my friends alone!" .GIFfany cried while shooting electricity at them. The eye-bats then started flying away.
"Oh no you don't!" Wendy cried and jumped onto an eye-bat, pulling its wings, activating his power and turning 8-Ball!s head to stone. She jumped off the eye bat and back into the Shack.
"Everyone! Incoming!" Multi-Bear exclaimed and Stan started to pull at the door labeled 'EXIT' in desperation.
"Does this thing have an escape hatch!?" He asked.
"You want to go outside with those demons!?" I cried angrily.
"…..yeah never mind." Stan sighed right before Zanthar rammed into the Shacktron and everyone screamed as we were pushed back.
"Everybody! Maximum power!" Mabel ordered and Sev'ral Times ran faster on the treadmill they were on.
"And…now!" Dipper cried as he turned a wheel, causing Shacktron to grab Zanthar and threw him over the horizon. We cheered happily and when Teeth ran by screaming, we laughed.
"Bravo!" Ford cheered. Unfortunately, not everyone was happy.
"Guys, seriously? You had, like, one job to do here." Bill groaned while rubbing his eye.
"We gotta get him out here…." I said.
"Yeah, let's anger the flying nacho everyone…" Nate grumbled and I gave him a deadpanned look. "What? I know it's funny, but he can turn us inside out…"
"Yep, that's about sums it up, we just need to motivate him to come…"
"HEY BILL! YOUR FACE SUCKS! AND SO DOES YOUR SINGING!" Grenda yelled on the top of her lungs and Globby flinched at her loud voice.
"EXCUSE ME!?" Bill exclaimed and cracked his knuckles. "Fine, let's get this over with."
"Yep, that did it." I deadpanned as a giant Bill came out and held up a giant fist, adjusted his bow tie, and slammed down in the Shacktron. I smirked as the field activated and. Bill raised his fist again only to see that the Shacktron was very much intact.
"What the? No! No! No! No! No!" Bill cried and spawned ten arms and started pounding on the force field.
"Ah!" Stan flinched.
"The shield is holding!" Ford observed.
"ATTACK!" Mabel cried and Grenda made a punching motions and the T-Rex head lunged over to Bill. It bit his eye and yanked it out of his socket.
"Aah! My eye! Do you have any idea how long it takes to regenerate that?!" He cried in agony.
"Nice shot Grenda!" I cheered.
"We've got him distracted. Now's our chance." Dipper said urgently.
"Agreed, his eye will regenerate eventually." Ford added.
"Rescue team, move out!" Mabel cried and everyone who was heading to the Fearamid gathered their supplies.
Mabel got her famous grappling hook, Soos packed the memory erasing gun…..I really hope we wouldn't need that, Dipper grabbed the height-altering crystal flashlight. Nate took out a baseball bat a with some barbed wire around it, and I felt my necklace glow brightly and smiled with determination. We then rushed over to the exit tubes and yes, there were a little extra this time. Don't ask me how we managed that, I couldn't tell you if I wanted to.
"Okay everyone. We get in, rescue the town, get out, save the world. Piece of cake." Dipper said quickly before we finally went.
"Just so we're clear. If I die, I'm suing all of you." Pacifica said, but the tone was much more joking then it was in the episode. I smiled at that. Stan, however, was not in the mood for jokes.
"Hey, on second thought, maybe we could come up with a plan that doesn't involve us plummeting to our certain death…."
"Now!" Wendy cried and slammed her hand on a button and we were all pulled out of the tubes and shot out from the Gobblewonker's mouth, straight towards the Fearamid.
"Oh man, oh man…." Dipper muttered as we continued falling.
"WOOHOO! HAHAHA!" Mabel laughed as she spun in the air.
"Everyone, open your parachutes!" Ford cried and we all opened out parachutes that were made out of Mabel's sweaters she made over the summer. We all landed safety inside and everyone who hadn't been in here before gasped in horror at the throne.
"Oh, man. It looks even worse up close." Dipper shuddered and Mabel used her grappling hook to pull herself up to the throne.
"Uh guys, it's not really obvious on how we can free the town people who are statues." Mabel called down and Nate turned to me.
"How are we gonna unfreeze them?" Dipper wondered.
"You got me free from being a statue, could you do the same?" He asked.
"That was one person, this is over half the town." I replied and gasped. "Wait, Mabel do you see…?"
"I-I know!" A voice cried and I saw Gideon dancing in the cage.
"Gideon! What happened to you?" Mabel asked, staring at his predicament.
"Bill captured me. He's been forcing me to do cute dances in this cage for all eternity." Gideon explained as he continued to dance.
"Yeah, I may have forgotten to mention that." I muttered slightly embarrassed.
"Well, a lot was going on." Nate added.
"I'm so tired of being cute!" Gideon sobbed.
"How do we undo this?" Dipper asked.
"Mayor Tyler. He's the load-bearing human. Pull him out, and the whole thing goes down." Gideon explained.
"Alright hang in there Gideon!" I called up as Dipper pulled Mayor Tyler out and he turned back to normal before he was pulled out and everyone around him started to become unfrozen and fell to the ground in a heap. Deputy Durland hit Gideon's cage, causing it to fall into the ground, freeing him as well.
"Wow, that looked cool." Nate nodded as the residents groaned in pain.
"Ugh. My mouth tastes like nightmares." Lazy Susan moaned and Robbie fell down on his head.
"Aah! I think I'm dark and tortured for reals now." He muttered as a can of spray paint fell out of his hoodie pocket. Tad strange then popped up from the crowd.
"This experience will forever scar Tad Strange." He sated simply.
"No more…..SILLY SUIT!" Gideon cried and ripped off the colorful suit and panted heavily.
"Wait, he was wearing two suits at the same time?" Nate asked and I facepalmed.
"Would you rather he not be wearing anything?" I muttered and Nate playfully nudged me.
"Wendy!" Manly Dan cried as he and his sons ran over to her and did a group hug.
"Guys!" She laughed and retuned the hug happily.
"Mom! Dad!" Pacifica cried, but was cut off by Blubs.
"Durland!" He exclaimed and shoved the Northwest's aside as he held his partner close.
"My Blubs!" Durland cried happily, tears in both of their eyes.
"Don't you ever scare me like that again." Blubs pleaded and they hugged each other as everyone else cheered.
"Well, that was definitely uplifting." Ford commented as he clapped.
"Yeah, we needed that." I nodded and turned to see Nate reunite with Lee and his parents.
"Uh, Uncle Ford? I think now would be a good time to reveal Bill's weakness." Dipper urged.
"Yeah, that secret way to defeat him!" Mabel added.
"Right, of course, of course." Ford nodded and put on some gloves. "Now, does anyone have a pen? Pencil? Anything?" He asked and noticed the spray paint. "Ah, perfect."
"Okay, let's hope the Shacktron can keep Bill occupied long enough." Dipper said as he turned to see the battle still going on while Ford continued to draw on the floor.
"Yes, yes. Good, good." Ford replied, focused on his work.
"Drawing a circle on the floor. Well, he's lost his mind." Stan deadpanned and I groaned.
"My mind is fine. And there is a way to beat him. With this." Ford said as he gestured to the ground and I smiled at a familiar site.
The Cipher Wheel.
"The world's most confusing game of hopscotch?" Pacifica asked in confusion.
"No, a prophecy. Although it would be a pretty fun game of hopscotch." Ford then begun to explain. "Many years ago I found ten symbols in a cave. Some I recognized then, some I only recognize now. The native people of Gravity Falls prophesied that these symbols could create a force strong enough to vanquish Bill. With Bill defeated, his weirdness would be reversed and the town could be saved."
Everyone listen carefully and Ford turned to everyone and gestured to everyone around us.
"This whole time I thought it was just superstition. But seeing you all here now, I finally understand that it's destiny. Dipper, the pine tree. Mabel, the shooting star." Ford said and the twins stood on their respective spots.
"The question mark. This one's unsolvable." Soos said thoughtfully and I nudged him playfully.
"It's you silly!" I said and he stepped in his spot. Wendy then shifted Robbie on the stitched heart symbol.
"That one's easy. You've been rockin' that dumb hoodie since the seventh grade." She laughed.
"Whoa, destiny hoodie." Robbie gasped, wide-eyed.
"The Tent of Telepathy sign! That must be Gideon!" Dipper gasped.
"Whoo! An excuse to stand next to Mabel." Gideon chuckled as he stood on his spot.
"Don't turn this into a big deal." Mabel pleaded.
"Oh, I won't!" He assured her and then whispered. "I will."
My eyes then widened and I turned back to the fight and saw that Bill was being pinned down by the Shacktron, however, he noticed that while he couldn't touch the Shack, he could touch the leg no problem.
"What the…Hey, Achilles! Nice work with the HEEL!" Bill cried and ripped the leg off.
"FORE!" He hit the Shack with the leg and it rolled away.
"Oh no! Guys, we gotta hurry it up!" I urged and Globby growled.
"Right right." Ford nodded. "Hold hands, everyone. This is a mystical human energy circuit."
"Ice?" Dipper asked as he looked at a symbol next to him. "Who's ice?"
"The symbols needn't all be literal, Dipper. It just has to be someone cool in the face of danger." Ford explained as he grabbed Robbie's hand.
"Wendy! Wendy!" I cheered along with Nate, Lee, Tambry and Thompson.
"Heheh, shut up you guys." Wendy laughed and stood in the ice bag symbol and held her hand it to Dipper.
"Much like the spectacles need to be someone scholarly." Ford explained gesturing to the glasses and McGucket stood in his symbol.
"Heeheh!" He laughed and Pacifica stepped on the Llama symbol and looked at her new sweater.
"This is….freaky." She muttered.
"Now hold hands, everyone." Ford urged and McGucket held out his hand for Pacifica. She smiled and grabbed his hand with little hesitation.
"What is she doing?!" Her mother gasped as Preston looked on with a stern expression.
"Doing what no one in our family has ever done…touch the hillbilly." He said and the circle started to glow and outside thunder roared with clouds appearing around the Fearamid. I then ran over to Nate and handed him Globby.
"Emily, what are you…..?" I quickly cut him off.
"Take Globby and get everyone else out! I'll be right behind you!" I said
"Great Uncle Ford! I think it's working!" Dipper cried.
"Hoohoo! Heehahahaha!" McGucket cheered and Ford grinned.
"Yes! This is it!" He said and turned to everyone else. "The rest of you get out. It's too dangerous!"
"Emily?" Nate looked at me with worry and I quickly gave him a kiss and my necklace began to glow softly.
"I'll be fine, just get everyone to safety." I pleaded and he nodded and rushed off with Globby on his back and I turned to the last person of the wheel.
"We just need one more person...Stanley! Stanley, get over here. You're the only one left." Ford called over to his brother and I rushed over to him.
"You realize this is a bunch of hogwash, right? You really think some caveman graffiti is gonna stop that monster?" Stan asked and I then dragged him over to the wheel.
"Dang it, old man! Now's not the time!" Gideon cried as I got closer.
"Come on!" Wendy added angrily.
"What are you doing? You're gonna ruin this!" Pacifica spat.
"I've never held hands this long and I am very uncomfortable." Robbie commented and I finally pulled Stan onto his spot and before he could make any comment, I spoke up.
"Both of you look around! We are all here to stop something that's bigger than all of us, and if you just realize that you both care about each other we can fix this!" I begged as the wind started to pick up and it blowed through my hair. They didn't stay anything and I turned to Ford.
"Stan may have hurt you, but he also cares about you, he spent all that time trying to get you back because he wanted you to come home! Even after being apart for so long, he sacrificed so much to save you! And I know that you care about him too, out of everyone, he was the only one you trusted to help you! So please, can't you find it in yourself to forgive each other!?" I pleaded and no one said anything for a moment and Ford then turned to his brother.
"She's right Stanly, you spent 30 years trying to bring me home. I owe you everything for that. And I should have been grateful from the start." Ford said, looking down in shame briefly and then back up to Stan, who looked back in shock, and everyone around me was shocked too.
"Thank you for saving me Stanly…" Ford said and held up his hand. "High six?"
Stan looked as if his heart skipped a beat and I'm pretty sure mine did too. Finally, he held up his own hand.
"High six."
And with that the to had their hands together and held them tight and the Cipher Wheel glowed even brighter. I gasped in amazement and smiled happily as I saw my necklace glow brightly. All of the symbols were glowing too and I cheered.
"Wooo! Yeah!" I jumped up slightly.
And then it hit me.
Lighting from the wheel struck and I suddenly collapsed into my knees in pain and everyone gasped.
"Emily!" Mabel cried worriedly.
"Whoa, what's happening!?" Stan asked.
"The Wheel was made to stop Bill, and Emily is feeling the full effects!" Ford gasped.
"Wait what!?" Soos asked.
"Quick, let her out!" Gideon exclaimed and tried to pull his hands away from Mabel, who tried as well, but it wasn't working.
"Why won't it work!?" Mabel cried in fear.
"NO!" I yelled and they turned to me. "Don't you dare stop! We're too close to winning! I'll be fine!"
"Emily, there has to be another way!" Wendy cried and I shook my head as I slowly stood up.
"There is no other way…." I said and turned to where Bill was. "We're finishing this!"
Bill then noticed the storm clouds and his eye widened and it looked as if he was being pulled towards us.
"What!? Nonononono! NO!" He cried and was shrunk down to size as he tried to grip the wall of the Fearamid, but failed and was pulled even closer. Slowly, but surly.
"You idiots! Don't you know Emerald will die if she stays in the center!?" He pleaded desperately in a last ditch effort to escape his predicament.
"What!? No!" Everyone cried, but I ignored them and saw that Bill was just over the Wheel.
"So…..BE IT!" I cried and reached up to pull his leg down to the center with me.
"No! You're making a mistake! I'll give you everything that you want! Just don't do this!" Bill pleaded.
"I have what I want, a family that I love, friends who care about me, and I home where I feel like I belong!" I said with determination and Bill screamed as more lighting from the wheel shot down at us and I felt myself getting pushed down and my hair stood up on its ends and my vision went bright green.
"It ends here, Bill Cipher." I declared (whoa my voice is so echoey now) and glared at him. "And you're the one who made the mistake of messing with us!"
"Emily!" Mabel cried, tears in her eyes. "Please….don't do this!"
I looked around at everyone in the Cipher Wheel, despite the pain I smiled at all of them. I may not have gotten along with all of them, but in the end we all came together for the love of our home. Tears filled my eyes.
"Sorry guys….but this is how my story ends." I said and Bill screamed. We then went back and forth with possibly our last argument.
"Sixty degrees that come in threes. Watches from within birch trees."
"A-X-O-L-O-T-L!"
"Saw his own dimension burn. Misses home and can't return."
"My time has come to burn!"
"Says he's happy. He's a liar. Blame the arson for the fire."
"I invoke the ancient power…."
"If he wants to shirk the blame…He'll have to invoke my name."
"That I may return!"
"One way to absolve his crime. A different form, a different time."
A bright light then encased us both and I noticed bits and pieces of us were starting to fall off and disappear into the light of the Cipher Wheel and I turned to my friends one last time.
"Thanks for an unforgettable summer." I whispered and closed my eyes.
Accepting my fate.

(Third Person)
The ones in the Cipher Wheel only saw a white light engulf Emily and Bill before their eyes. They were then blinded by the light as it then engulfed then and started swirling around the Fearamid.
Outside, the other townsfolk were surrounded by Bill's minions, but Nate gasped as he saw the Fearamid was being destroyed and the monsters turned upwards and panicked. They attempted to run away, but the light started to grab them and they all slowly disappeared and Teeth spat out a famous gnome before disappearing.
A boom was then heard, but a flash followed and the twin was retuned to normal. Every building was fixed, the water tower was normal, the water fall was blue instead of bright red, and everyone's injuries were healed as well as their clothes being restored.
Others that were brought because of Weirdmeggadon were fading away as well, Xyler and Craz disappeared. Rumble turned to .GIFfany, who looked around in awe as her hair flowed. She looked up at him and he suddenly grabbed her before dipping her down.
"Rumble?" She asked sweetly, while blushing and the two leaned in for a kiss as they turned into pixels, with a floating heart that has the number 100 in it appearing briefly before it faded too.
"Whoa…." Nate gasped and the town turned over to the where the Fearamid was and noticed it had faded away and another light flashed and when it faded, the symbols of the Cipher Wheel were holding hands and were standing on the Cipher Wheel that was now engraved into the ground and appeared to be marble.
Everyone cheered for them and clapped loudly, but when each member of them opened their eyes, they didn't look excited. Rather, they started at the center with sorrow and they said nothing. Nate pushed through the crowd along with a few others.
"Guys! That was awesome! You did it!" He cried and his smile faded as he noticed none of them were sharing the towns enthusiasm.
"What's wrong? We won!" He asked and he looked at each of them and his heart dropped with his smile as he realized something.
"….wait….where's Emily?"
That's when it finally fell apart.
Mabel let go of everyone and fell to her knees and burst into tears. Dipper rushed over to her and pulled her into a hug. Soos pulled his hat down as he cried, Robbie stuffed his hands in his hoodie pocket while clearly upset, Pacifica and Wendy both just stared at the center in horror, McGucket took off his glasses and wiped away his tears, Gideon looked down at his hands clearly trying not to cry, and Ford and Stan stared down in sadness.
"Guys, what happened?" Thompson asked and Ford sighed before speaking up.
"Emily stayed behind to make sure the Wheel could be completed, but she was trapped in the center. We managed to defeat Bill but…" He trailed off.
"Emily went with him! She's gone!" Wendy cried and wiped her tears away.
"W-what?" Candy asked and the crowd started whispering to themselves.
"No…no…" Nate shook his head in disbelief and Globby whimpered.
"I'm sorry….but she sacrificed herself to save us…..she's saved everyone." Ford said sadly. "This is all my fault….."
"Hey, don't go there…Emily just wanted to save us…anyone of us would have done the same…." Stan insisted.
"It's not fair!" Gideon cried stomped his foot. "She never did anything to anyone! All she wanted was a home! She tried to help me even when I refused it!"
"She….she made me believe I could be better…" Pacifica said solemnly.
"You are better." Dipper argued.
"WHY COULDN'T IT HAVE BEEN ME!?" Soos's exclaimed and fell to his knees.
"…..we killed her….." Mabel muttered, tears streaming down her face.
"Mabel…..we didn't…"
"WE KILLED HER DIPPER! All Emily ever did this summer was help us and make us happy! And now she's gone and it's because of us!" Mabel cried angrily and fell to her knees. She looked down at her symbol and cried even harder.
"We killed her…." She whispered.
"Poor Emily….she was so young." McGucket said as he too his hat off and shook his head with tears down his face. Blubs and Durland did the same with their hats along with several others in town.
Nate felt like he stood alone in a crowd of people and tried to convince himself that it wasn't real and everything was okay…but it wasn't. He still had his last moment with Emily repeating in his brain, but it was only a memory now. He felt tears stream down his face as he fell to his knees, barley feeling Globby hugging his back. He wanted to deny it, say that there was no way Emily could be gone, but he knew the truth.
Emily Jewel was gone.
He then turned to Globby, who appeared to be crying as well.
"It's okay, I'll look after you." He assured him and turned to see Lee, Thompson, Robbie, Tambry, and Wendy walk over to him.
"Hey…" Lee said simply, not knowing what else he could say and Nate stood up.
"Yeah…..hey." He replied and turned to see that Mabel was still crying along with everyone else that Emily was particularly close with.
"…I can't believe she's gone…"
"Yeah…neither can I." Thompson said and burst into tears again. Nate sighed and walked over to Mabel and Dipper. At least he could try and make them feel better.
"…..Emily…." Nate sighed and walked over to the Pines family.
Summer was ending after all.

AUTHOR'S NOTE:
….hey, so…..I realize that this chapter too forever and I'm sorry about that. I do have an explanation and it's pretty long. So buckle up!
It started in early April. I was on Easter Break from school and with my family. But the day I was heading back, my parents told me that my grandpa passed away the night before. I knew he wasn't doing well recently, but the news hit me like a truck. He was the first grandparent I had lost, and I was really close with him. He lived a long happy life and I missed him a lot.
After I got back to school, I put a lot of my focus on my work. Finals were coming up and I wasn't doing well in one of my classes, so I wanted to get a passing grade. So I had little time to write at all, and I was lacking motivation. When I got back home, I only had a few weeks and then went on a trip for scuba so I could get certified and that was a busy week. I had zero time to write, period.
Finally, after all that, I got back home in time for Memorial Day, and got back to working slowly but surely. And here it is! We have one or maybe two more chapter if I feel like the ending is getting too long. I had a hard time deciding where to end this one.
As always, I hope you enjoyed and I cannot believe that we have come this far. You all are the best! So please, read and review, let me know what you guys thought! It means a lot!
Now let's answer some reviews from last chapter!
Milky Boy Blue: Loved your review! You had some neat theories, keep them in mind for future installments! *wink wink* Really hope you liked this chapter!
mew mew 124: You certainly had a lot to say! I'm glad you like the changes made for this chapter. I had 88 faces demise in my head for a while. So I'm glad you liked that too. The necklace is still a mystery…..for now…a lot happened in this chapter and I hope you liked it! Sorry the wait was long!
DaMastah (Guest): Glad you liked this chapter! It means a lot!
LuaMinguante: Awwwwwww, thank you so much! You're so sweet!
