A/N: I'm not actually going to apologize for being late in updating... Because the main reason is I lost my grandfather early in October. Also, My P.C quit on me and I had to get a new one. Got weather from Hurricane Matthew that caused my internet to act up as well.

But I am updating all of my stories so I can just explain all of this just once.

Chapter XXIX: Cruise Control.

Last Time.

Sabertooth slid into Colossus before Pyro and Gambit ran out. "Well, we got us some X-Men." Gambit said holding two cards. Naruto cracked his neck as Jean and Phoenix floated down. "And we got us some insects to squash." Phoenix said before throwing fire at them.

As they fought, the others joined up to help fighting. The X-Men held the others off before a large green spider dashed through the room to the outside.

"Well shit, we're boned." Naruto said before Magento flew out. Acolytes, stop that spider!" They ran out as Charles wheeled up to them. "Erik, no! You don't know what-!" Charles stopped as Magneto flew past him, following after the spider. The X-Men ran out to Charles who spoke up.

"We need to protect that spider! It has answers we need!" The nodded before running after Magneato. Later, after trying to stop the spider, the X-Men and the Acolytes saw Magneto standing in front of the spider and touch it, having it disappear leaving only the statue left. "Erik, what have you done?"

Charles asked as Magneto panted. "I stopped the key." Charles shook his head at that. "No, it was to stop the second door from opening, Mesmero played you from the start. He wanted you to destroy it." Naruto looked back as they made a plan to find out where the spider was heading and to stop the third door from opening.

"I hope we can find it in time." He said looking at the sun rise.

Now.

Caribbean; Nighttime, Cruise Ship.

Most of the X-Men decided on taking a cruise to the Caribbean minus Charles, Logan, and Hank to keep an eye on Rogue who's still recuperating from her ordeal.

Tabitha was limboing in shorts, boots, and a purple two-tone tank top.

Naruto and the other males of the group wore shorts and Hawaiian button-up shirts as the girls wore their bikinis with skirts and a tank top over them.

Ororo, wearing a sky blue dress with clouds on it, walked to an ill-looking Amara leaning on the railing.

"Tabitha sure knows how to have a good time. I'm glad she came along." Amara turned to her before looking at Tabitha. "Me too... But maybe I should have stayed home like Rogue." Ororo looked down at her. "Still not feeling well?" She asked getting Amara to shake her head. "Not really."

"I can get the ship's doctor to give you something." Amara looked up to her before speaking. "No, I'll be fine, don't worry." Amara replied just as Tabitha walked over and pulled her to the deck. "Come on, landlubber! Let's cruise the deck and get you feeling better!"

On the next deck down, Naruto was walking with Rachel and Jean. They passed by Lorna sitting on a lounge chair with Ashura drinking punch together before Jean spoke up. "Isn't it beautiful, Naruto? I've never seen so many stars." Naruto nodded at that. "Yeah, one problem with living near a big city, there's too many lights to see them."

"We could always move to the country." Rachel said leaning against Naruto. They suddenly heard chuckling and looked back to see Kurt and Kitty watching them from a lifeboat. They used their powers to disappear before Naruto saw large ice sculptures pass them. "Bobby."

Naruto walked towards the front of the ship passing Scott and Emma holding hands before walking to the top deck and saw Bobby create a large Iceberg before jumping onto the railing. "BOBBY!" Bobby fell, having Naruto run over as Scott ran up to the deck. Seeing the iceberg, he shot it with his optic blast before Naruto pulled Bobby up.

"Want to explain what the hell you were doing?" Naruto asked as Bobby chuckled nervously. "Trying to impress the girls? Not only would you have outed us as mutants as no one on this ship knows that we are. But you put an iceberg in front of the ship, just several feet away!"

"You could have killed hundreds if not up to a thousand people! We are nowhere near another ship or island. You need to start thinking!" Naruto finished walking off.

Seven A.M.

The next morning, Naruto walked down a hall and into Tabitha's and Amara's shared room. He saw Amara laying on the bed groaning before speaking. "You sure you don't want to see the doctor, Amara?" He asked as she groaned louder. "Yes, I'm sure." She replied as Tabitha fixed her hair.

"Okay then. Come on, Spitfire, breakfast is ready. I'll bring back some ginger ale for you, Amara." Naruto said before walking with Tabitha up to the main deck. "Ready for breakfast, you two?" Naruto looked to see Ororo walking to them. "Ready for scarfing duty." Tabitha said giving a mock salute.

"But Amara is going to pass." She finished as Ororo looked to their room. "Oh? I'll check in with her. Then meet you down there with the others. And Tabitha." The duo stopped walking and looked back at Ororo "Low profile, remember?" Tabitha waved her hand as they continued their walk.

"Hey, it's just breakfast." she said as Naruto smirked.

Smack!

Tabitha grinned before looking to see an empty cleaning closet and pulled Naruto in before pulling down her shorts showing she wasn't wearing anything underneath. "I knew you wanted to try it on the sea." She said before jumping up and wrapped her arms and legs around him.

Naruto just grinned as he closed and locked the door before grabbing her ass.

A few doors down, Ashura walked out of his room before hearing a voice. "Oh hey, Ashura!" Ashura blinked as he saw a teen girl with long pink hair walking down to him. She's wearing a black top over a bathing suit with a long yellow shirt and sandals. (1.)

She stopped at a door as she heard something move before shrugging and walked up to Ashura. "Oh, hey, Megan. This is the cruise ship you told me you were going on?" Megan nodded at that. "Yep! I didn't know you decided on going on a cruise as well.

Dining Hall, Eight A.M.

Naruto sat at a table with Wanda, Jean, and Rachel as he heard Kurt and Kitty making fun of Scott giving Emma a rose from the flower vase on their table. Creating a Genjutsu. (Illusion Technique.) Naruto created a clone that went to their table and went under it. Kitty giggled at what Kurt was dong before her lower body was pulled forward.

She gripped the table and started breathing heavily, having the others at the table to look at her. "You okay, Kitty?" Sam asked having her nod. "Y.. Yeah... Like... May... Maybe it was the lobster. It was the first tiiiime I had one." Kitty replied with a small blush on her cheeks. Before anyone could comment, Tabitha threw one of her balls at a woman who was complaining loudly.

This action started a fire which forced Jean to use her power to drench it out. Kitty moved back from the table and fixed her skirt back in place before the X-Men left. She walked beside Naruto and elbowed him in the gut.

"I cannot believe you did that!" she whispered to him. He smiled as he wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her close. "Well, I didn't want you to start thinking I wasn't giving you enough attention on this trip." he whispered in her ear. While Kitty simply looked away with a slight huff, she couldn't help but give him a smile of appreciation.

Later, Naruto walked down the hall with Tabitha who's wearing a red one piece bathing suit with a diamond-shaped hole showing her belly button and jean shorts.

"I'm surprised you never got your belly button pierced." She smiled at him before speaking. "Wanda and I are thinking about it. I think Lorna is, as well. I think she's trying to impress Ashura." Naruto smiled before walking in her room. "Attention Passengers. Looks like we have rough weather ahead."

They heard the captain speaking over speakers. "So we'll be anchoring here on San Sebastian." He finished before Amara spoke up. "No..." They rushed in to she her holding her head. "Amara, what's wrong?" Tabitha asked as Amara explained she needed to get to land or she'll die.

"Shit, we're still a few minutes out, can you hold on until then?" Naruto asked having Amara shake her head. "Okay, let's go." Naruto helped her up before hearing a knock. "It's Bobby. I wanted to see how Amara's doing." Naruto smirked before they had Bobby make a canoe and oars to go to the island.

Tabitha latched onto him as he jumped down. They missed Jean, Rachel, and Emma watch him head toward the island.

Later, Naruto, Tabitha, Amara, and Bobby walked in a shopping part of the village before Tabitha looked at a price. "Twenty bucks for a straw hat?!" Naruto rolled his eyes before hearing Jean speak up. "What are you doing?" Naruto looked to see her, Rachel, Wanda, Emma, and Scott.

"It was an emergency. Amara needed land or she could have died." He replied before seeing Kitty try to hide with a large hat. "Kitty..." She slumped turning round showing she's wearing glasses. "Oh, hey guys." They turned to see Ashura, Lorna, and Megan walking to them. "I guess you had the idea of getting off the ship as well, huh?" Lorna asked as Megan waved to them.

"Hey, I remember you." Naruto said looking at Megan. "You do?" Wanda asked making him nod. "Yeah, right before we found Ashura, Megan popped up on Cerebro." Megan smiled as pixie wings grew out of her back and quickly hid them. "Look, we're going up to the hot springs. Want to come with?"

Emma, Scott, Ashura, Megan, and Lorna declined having the group go to a trail. Once they all got to the springs, they started changing into their bathing suits with Rachel's and Wanda's being small string bikinis as the others wore one piece bathing suits. Naruto leaned back in the water as all but Bobby, who sat out, played in the water.

"You know~" Naruto opened his eyes to see Rachel staring at him. "I can hold my breath for a long time~" Naruto smiled before reaching around and pulled her to him. "But I wouldn't get to see you, love." He replied not noticing Amara swim down and stay down for several minutes.

He hissed as the water became hotter before getting out with the others. "Everyone alright?" Naruto asked as they nodded. "Where's Amara?" Wanda asked fixing her jean shorts on. Amara came up in her magma form. "We have to get out of here!" She yelled as the ground shook. Bobby created an ice slide, having them go down towards the village.

Once there, they started helping the villagers from the earthquake using their powers before it stopped. A few moments went by before they cheered for them. Getting shocked looks from the X-Men. For the next several hours, they relaxed, or helped the villagers with their powers.

Later, the X-Men ate dinner by the beach before the ground shook from an aftershock. "You alright, Amara?" Scott asked seeing Amara looking a little down. "I think I caused the volcano to act up. At the springs, I got close to the fissure and I awakened it somehow."

"The whole mountain... I feel connected to it somehow, in some weird way." Amara said before hearing thunder. Naruto looked to see a storm cloud forming over the ship just as the volcano erupted. Everyone ran for cover as fireballs fell down on the palm trees. Cracks formed around them as Amara put out the fire from the cracks.

Smoke covered the area as Amara disappeared in it, running towards the volcano. "Get everyone to the water!" Naruto yelled as the others did their best to keep any lava away from the city by creating large trenches or blocking it with debris and their powers. Storm flew over and had it rain hard on the lava, putting it out.

"Amara went up to the volcano!" Tabitha yelled as Storm flew down to them. "I'll get her back!" She yelled flying towards the volcano. After helping the villagers, the X-Men ran up to the volcano and saw it was inactive. "Amara... She fell in." Storm said right before Magma flew up, revealing she's alright.

They went back to the village where the villagers cheered for them. Storm sighed before looking to the group. "Before you start, Storm. I want you to know that the girls forced me to come here." Naruto said getting shocked looks from said girls and a deadpanned one from Storm.

"They're a bad influence on me-mph!" He was stopped as Tabitha covered his mouth and Rachel levitated him up to the ship.

OK I would like to point out since we're nearing the end of this story is that around in June last year (2015.), I got a P.M. from DragonPony022 of doing art for this story. I just wanted to say that now as after the next 2 updates for this story I'll be focusing on this story to finish it out.

DragonPony022 has been busy so nothing is done yet. And I didn't want too forget to tell you all. If DragonPony022 has anything done before this story is done I'll let you know. But if not periodically check this story/my profile for them as I'll leave the URL on my profile and maybe use one for a cover for the story.
