Chapter XXXII: Impact.

Last Time.

Upstairs, Naruto ran in and crashed through the door. Logan went to Mesmero with his claws before slashing at him. Only to reel back as Mesmero's staff shocked him. Naruto dropped down with a Rasengan (Spiraling Sphere.) and hit Mesmero in the chest, sending him flying back into a wall and through it.

"That was for Rogue, you bald son of a bitch!" he growled out at Mesmero's unconscious form. Logan dashed to the stairs and down towards Rogue. Rogue was lying unconscious as Apocalypse was floating up and glowing a bright white.

Logan dashed to him, only for Apocolypse to clench his fist and had Logan fly back to his coffin. Naruto walked down the stairs and saw Apocalypse before speaking. "Where. Is. Rogue?" He asked as Apocalypse just stared at him before Naruto was sent to the ceiling and sent down to the floor hard.

Naruto groaned in pain before getting up and picked up Rogue, bridal style. He heard the others as well as the group who went to Giza getting beaten before walking up the stairs. "Our greatest battle has yet to begin." Charles said laying on the ground before they felt immense power.

A golden glow covered the area before they looked to see Naruto walk out of the chamber.

He's covered in yellow chakra, which emanates from him reminiscent of flickering flames. He has two horns on his head, six magatama markings around his neck, a swirl over his stomach and various other lines extending along his body. They saw that his eyes were orange.

"Yeah, but he made the mistake of using my loved ones for his plans. That's not going to fly with me." Naruto said walking up to them as Logan followed.

Now.

Xavier's School For The Gifted, A Week Later.

Naruto sighed as he sat at his desk writing down all the names of Mutants he's met over the years to help for the upcoming battle. It's been a week since Apocalypse was awoken by Mesmero. And during that time Naruto's spent the week getting ready for facing him and helping Charles to try to free Mystique from her imprisonment.

'Half the names on here would probably join Apocalypse. Only reason Magneto would want to help us is because he wants to be the one to rule.' Naruto thought tapping his pen on the desk and rests his head on his left hand. He looked to the glass doors leading to his balcony and frowned as he thought of Rogue.

Over the week, she's refused to talk to anyone, moved into one of the empty rooms and eats her meals in her room. 'She must still blame herself.' Naruto thought before going back to work. Suddenly, a puff of smoke covered the desk before revealing a blue toad that's several feet tall wearing goggles.

"Hiya!" The toad greeted with a salute. "Oh, hey. What can I do for ya?" Naruto asked before the toad answered. "Tsunade wanted to know if you needed any help in dealing with this Apocalypse fellow." Naruto hummed for a moment before looking back towards the toad. "Maybe. Have her get the best ninjas ready."

"But I'll have to try and make seals that'll protect both their minds and bodies from anything he could throw at us." Naruto said as the toad looked confused. "(Sigh) He took powers from a lot of mutants in order to come back... I don't know the full extent of his powers, plus there are several mind controlling powers that he may have absorbed."

"I've already come across two who can use that power. If I can't get anything ready by the time he makes his first moves, it'll be safer for all of us if Apocalypse doesn't get his hands on our people, or their powers if he can still absorb them." The toad nodded before poofing away in a cloud of smoke.

Naruto sat back down and opened his drawer. He picked up his modern kerambit, and put the tip on the desk and put his palm on the handle before he started to spin the blade. 'I can see why Shikamaru does that weird hand sign while thinking.' He thought as spinning the blade always helped him think.

Later, Naruto fixed his shirt over his karambit holder before hearing the doorbell ring. Jumping over the railing, Naruto walked to the door and opened it. "How can I help yo-Betsy?" Naruto asked seeing a young Asian woman wearing blue jeans and a purple shirt and knee high boots.

She also has purple hair that comes down to her shoulders with a red tattoo over her left eye. (1.)

"Hey, Naruto. Word on the street is you're looking for a team." Naruto blinked at that before sighing. "I suppose Fury has put the word out, right? Because last I checked, you were training with his people over at SHIELD." Betsy nodded at that. "Yeah, my roommate Ava couldn't come, but she says hi."

"So, I hear there's some super mutant out and about?" Betsy asked as she walked inside. "That's one way to put it. Come on, I'll take you to the Professor, he can explain everything." Naruto said as he lead her farther into the mansion.

A Week Later, Xavier's School For The Gifted.

Naruto saw Rogue wearing her purple top and black jeans sitting on the fountain.

"I ever tell you girls I love you in tight jeans and not skirts." Rogue kept quiet as Naruto sat beside her. "No really, those jeans show off your well-toned ass." She kept quiet, causing Naruto to sigh. "OK Rogue, in all seriousness, I know you've gone through a lot with this whole Apocalypse deal. But don't let what happened get to you." She glanced to him before finally speaking.

"Nothing gets to me anymore." Naruto clasped his hands together on his knees before speaking. "What Mesmero and Mystique did to you. It was beyond messed up. But it wasn't your fault." She sighed at that and looked to him. "I know it's not, Naruto." Naruto nodded before leaning over and giving her a chaste kiss.

"Alright then." He got up to leave before she dropped one leg to the ground. "Why is the Professor keeping her here?" Naruto sighed before turning to her. "He was going to get rid of her. But I said she should stay." Rogue glared at him having Naruto lift a photo with tear stains.

"Before Asteroid M, she truly loved Kurt and tried to be in his life, but Magneto kept interfering. Once she went into that machine that messed up Scott and Alex, she stopped trying to contact him. I found this picture after we picked up Scott." He threw her the picture, reveling it to be the one he made for Mystique last year.

"And I don't want her to fall into Apocalypse's hands if he can reverse what happened."

Later, Rogue walked to a gazebo near the cliff and sniffed. "Penny for your thoughts?" Rogue turned to see Rachel standing behind her before speaking. "Look, I know what it's like to not be in control of yourself. I had to live inside people for a couple thousand years, seeing what they saw." Rogue looked out to the sun setting before speaking.

"But you didn't bring someone who'll most likely change the World for the worst." Rachel snorted as she crossed her arms under her bust. "I was that person." She said before walking to Rogue. "Look, you weren't in control of your actions. Don't let what other people did affect you."

Rogue just sighed at that before letting out a squeak.

Smack!

"Also, I can see why Naruto complements your ass so much. When you regain your confidence again, and gain control of your powers, I'd like to go for a round with you." Rogue sighed at that as her face turned red. "Is that all you think about? And not all of us are bi." Rachel rolled her eyes at that. "I know, only I am. And that's because I was in men as well as women."

"Besides, most all of us do is kiss when we're having hot, wild sex with Naruto. I don't know why people think we all have sex with each other rather than just Naruto. And people say I'm the pervert. We're not in some adult movie or raunchy fanfic." Rogue blinked at that. "Fanfic?"

"Yeah, you know, those stories fans write about their favorite TV shows, movies, games, and comic books? But this is real life!" Rachel said puffing out her chest.

Later, Kage walked towards the Blackbird before seeing Ashura, Polaris and Betsy in a purple full body suit that's sleeveless and leaves her sides bare all the way to her calves. And a belt hanging loosely off her hip.

Naruto and the others walked inside the jet as a screen played news coverage of a purple dome covering a Mayan temple. "I see he's made his move." Naruto said before they took off.

Mayan Temple.

The X-Men landed and Charles talked with the Military of finding information out on the dome. Naruto helped fix Kitty up to try and go under the dome as Cyclops fixed a scanner near it. "Be careful, Kitty." Naruto told Shadowcat before kissing her. The others set more scanners around the dome and scanned it before Charles wheeled to Shadowcat.

Suddenly, the scanners blew up before Shadowcat took a drill and tried to push through. Only to fly back into Naruto's arms and had the drill explode. Suddenly, a metal orb flew over the dome and Magneto came out to attack. He threw several metal objects at the dome before Apocalypse came out and held his hand out.

Magneto screamed as he was disintegrated in a bright light. "Good lord." Betsy said as Apocalypse looked down at them, focusing on Naruto before leaving back to the dome.

Xavier's School For The Gifted.

Kurt had the statue of Mystique in the gazebo before an elderly woman walked up to him wearing a cloak. "Finally, I was afraid you wouldn't show." She reached and touched Mystique before speaking. "She can help." Nightcrawler looked to see Rogue walking to them as Agatha explained that if Rogue absorbed Mystique's power for a second, it would give Mystique the strength to break free.

Rogue looked to her hands before tears fell and she pushed Mystique off of the cliff. "NO!" Nightcrawler yeled teleporting to catch Mystique. Only to get to her too late and watched her shatter. Rogue turned to walk back to the mansion, wiping the tears from her eyes.

A Week Later. (2.)

"Alright people... On your toes. This is life or death." Kage said holding a laser tag gun. As well as a vest as Jean, Phoenix, Storm, Wolverine, Shadowcat and Ashura wore the same as a voice counted down.

"7..."

"Naruto, relax! Enjoy yourself." Jean said to him while looking over her shoulder.

"6..."

"Yeah, like take a chill pill." Shadowcat said, agreeing with Jean. But the grin she had said otherwise.

"5..."

"No, dear! Kage is correct. Though I've mastered my ability to control the forces of nature! It is in all of our best interest to hone our Mutant-Born talents!" Storm told her while hovering a little.

"4..."

"Call all the rain and thunder you want, Storm! You don't stand a chance against me!" Phoenix said as her gun glowed red.

"3..."

"Fat Chance!" Ashura said holding his gun up.

"2..."

"Yeah, right. All of you punks better get ready to lose to me!" Wolverine said looking at everyone.

"1..."

"FIGHT!"

The X-Men scrambled before Naruto looked over to Storm and Rachel. "Powers to a minimum ladies. You know the rules. If you're going to fly, stay low. Don't give our position away to the Gold Team!" He said before the women floated up. "Don't worry, hun. We're just scouting." Phoenix said traversing the maze.

Only to get hit with a laser and the X in a circle came up on her chest piece. "What the hell?" Naruto burst out laughing at that before being hit himself. "Ha! Not so high and mighty now!" Phoenix said before the others were hit. "BANG! You're all dead!" Shadowcat said grinning as her gun was glowing.

"Shadowcat wins!"

Kitty's name came up in neon cursive. "Uh, yeah she does! So that's what, Shadowcat 6, X-Men, zero!" Naruto sighed at his girl's gloating before resetting the room. 'Well, at least this is keeping their minds off of Apocalypse.' He thought before switching teams for the next round.

1. ortizale317 brought Psyloke back when the movie was out in theaters as an Easter egg for the movie when getting to Apocalypse in the show.

2. An scene in the X-Men '92 comic by Infinite Comics, I think it was the comic for Secret Wars and of course used the '92 show for it. Not sure of the year for the comics that came out for the Secret Wars storyline. But there is one that has 2016 in the title online and I think it put up a new issue several months ago.

OK I'll be focusing on this story to finish it off . Oh, and spoiler stop reading now if you don't want to be spoiled.

The next Ch. will be an OC chapter as Lorna and Wanda are in the X-Men and can't think of a way for the Brotherhood to stage accidents without at least Wanda.
