Oh, you all are about ready to kill me, aren't you? xD

Don't worry, there is much more planned.

And for my best reviewer in the entire world: Dixxy; I really thank you for all the constructive critisim, and for understanding that I am human! :3 However, for the parts of my plot that are currently 'missing'; you aren't wrong, they aren't there, but I have a plan. ;)

I hope that MOST things will be answered here soon.

Thank you all for keeping with this story. I'm at 200 reviews: unreal.

-The Goddess of Mischief

Jinx slipped into the building easily, with Beast Boy and Cyborg right behind her. They were silent as night, keeping as close to Jinx as they could without being attached to her. She kept her back to the wall, creeping to the sides and peering her head around the corner. The concrete hallway was empty. There wasn't a Slade guard in sight.

She smiled to herself, before looking at the two little Titans. They looked back up at her, small smiles flitted on their faces.

"We readys." Cyborg said quietly, his little robotic hands fiddling with one another. The little mechanic parts on his shoulders hinged and unhinged, popping upwards before gleaming back down again. He looked at Beast Boy, confirming his sentence.

Jinx grinned. "Good." She whispered. She looked at Beast Boy, who had flattened himself against the wall. "Beast Boy, you're up. I need you to change into a little mouse and run up the hallway. Make sure there aren't any enemies around the corner."

Beast Boy looked down at the floor and then nodded slowly. The little changeling's body changed from a human toddler to a tiny mouse, squeaking softly at their feet. The mouse ran around the short dark corner and then disappeared, the sound of little feet running on the concrete echoing quietly down the hall. Jinx stayed against the wall with Cyborg clutched in her arms, keeping her breath held.

Truth be told- she was utterly terrified. And not for her life. But for the Titans'. Starfire and Robin weren't even there with her, which only made her even more paranoid. But at least she knew that Robin and Starfire could protect themselves when they needed to. She could see it. And Beast Boy had capabilities with his own powers. But she had never seen Cyborg shoot at anything in the entire time they were together.

The dark boy was sweet, and had a bit of an idiotic streak. It was nothing like a strong Cyborg that Jinx had known from the Teen Titans. Jinx had remembered when he had come into the HIVE academy, pretending to be one of the students. He had been disguised then; his robotic arms and eye changed with a computer simulation, giving him the impression of a very strong man.

And oh, she had fallen for him so hard.

Truth be told, she still kinda liked him. But there wasn't anything she could do about it, especially now that Cyborg was a drooling toddler who didn't really remember her. Cyborg was curled into her arms, trembling a bit, as they waited. He looked at Jinx as though she was some kind of hero.

She wasn't. She was a criminal taking care of children for God knows what reason.

Before she could get further in her thoughts, she heard a small squeak at her feet. And then a tug on her shirt. Jinx saw the face of Beast Boy, beaming brightly.

"Hall iz clears." he whispered, giggling quietly as though it was a secret.

Jinx grabbed their hands and moved seamlessly through the hall, like a shadow on water. She had to give them credit; they took this stuff seriously. Beast Boy had changed back into a small little mouse, perched on Cyborg's shoulder so that he wouldn't fall off, nuzzled underneath the kid's ear. Cyborg's hand was firmly clenched in hers, not letting go.

He had a strong grip for a five year old.

She stopped at the corner and looked around. Beast Boy was right- it was all clear.

A rusty sign hung on the walls, looking as though it had been made in the ancient times before civilization. It read the name Surface. Jinx followed the direction of the arrow that was sloppily painted onto the metal. It aimed left, towards the darker part of the hallway with no light-bulbs to light the way. As they ventured deeper into the abyss, Jinx strained to see ahead.

"Cyborg." She whispered under her breath. "Turn on your light."

"Light." Cyborg repeated quietly, like an echo. But a clicking sound was heard, and a tiny stream of bright light emitted from a flashlight in Cyborg's shoulder. Beast Boy was perched on top of it, squeaking ferociously as he clamored to the other shoulder.

They could see now, at least. The hall was rusty and full of mechanical supplies, nearly stacking up to the ceiling. Cobwebs and dust thickly laid on the metal bindings, clouding the air as they moved through the hall. Jinx heard a little whimper escape from Cyborg, but nothing more.

As they moved through the thick metal junk, Jinx could see a little bit of light filtering from the end. It came from a trapdoor, leading up to the surface.

Finally. Jinx thought exasperatingly. She let go of Cyborg's hand to push against the trapdoor, dust and dirt raining down on her as she used her strength to push upwards. It was heavy, and with her weakened arms, it took her a few minutes to get the door open all the way so they could climb through. Beast Boy simply flew up into the opening, and Jinx let Cyborg onto her shoulder as she hoisted him up.

The surface looked a lot different than the underground halls. It was clean, freed of dust and dirt. It looked more like a government bank back in Jump City, when Jinx and her friends decided to rob a few. Two guards stood at the end of the hall, their backs facing them.

They were cornered.

"Fuck." Jinx muttered under her breath. She felt a sharp poke in her stomach, and she looked down to see a scowling Cyborg. He obviously disproved.

The two guards were still standing there, still as day. There was no way to sneak past them without being noticed. And Jinx couldn't afford to have the alarms suddenly go off and have the three of them captured again. The torture would be too much for her to take this time, and live.

She gently pushed Cyborg off to the side and silently slipped down the hall towards the two guards, her hands balled into fists. She didn't have any weapons, or even her powers anymore, but she had the element of surprise.

That was all she needed.

Jinx jumped onto one of the guards backs and turned him around with his body. The guard's accomplice reacted by pulling out his gun to shoot, but accidently shot his partner in the stomach instead. The man underneath Jinx crumbled, and she flipped off the collapsed body with ease. Her foot caught the jaw of the other guard, a loud crack resonating through the metallic hallway. She had broken his jaw. Jinx landed on her feet like a cat, and she rushed forwards and slammed her elbow into his neck. The body fell to the ground, blood pooling from the mouth.

She stood back and admired her work. There was still some skill left in her, at least. They couldn't take away that.

Jinx turned back to look at Cyborg standing at the end of the hallway, Beast Boy whimpering on his shoulder. The little robot looked horrified at what he just witnessed.

She bit her lip and ushered them forwards. "Come on." she mouthed, displaying some urgency. She would apologize to them later, and hopefully explain to them the brutal murder they just witnessed. There was a part of her that felt bad, but she couldn't dwell in that right now.

Cyborg ran forwards, scuttling with all his might. Beast Boy looked as though he was going to fly off with all the momentum.

"We need to go now." Jinx said in a hushed whisper as they ran, her hand latching tightly onto Cyborg's smaller one. Their feet were mismatched, Cyborg's feet flying rapidly as he tried to catch up with Jinx's longer strides. They were nearly flying, moving through the halls with panicked speed now.

They swerved down a hallway, where they met a large set of doors. The other side was darkened, but there was enough light to appear through on the other side. Jinx pushed through the door, and the metallic hinges silently swerved shut.

This wasn't right.

There was something wrong.

Where were the guards? Where were all the soldiers, and all the menacing guards? They were swarming all over the base when she had appeared. She remembered being in her tiny little cell, curled into the corner of that pitiful little cage, watching as all of them walked by. There seemed to be an endless number of them marching through the halls, moving like ants.

So where were they now? They couldn't have just disappeared. There so many of them that it was impossible. Had they just evaporated through the roof?

The thought passed Jinx's mind, though, as soon as she saw the small little jet perched on it's platform. It looked perfect; gleaming shiny metal and newly pressed paint, huge engines and turbines. It would be perfect to get away in. Hopefully the metal was bulletproof, because they would need it.

"Pla-ne." Cyborg muttered, looking at it with wide eyes. He looked at Jinx. "We gos?"

"Yeah." Jinx said softly. "We're going to go. It won't be much longer, you guys. We're going to escape."

It was too good to be true. Escape was right in their reach, right in front of them. They could touch it if they wanted to. They were just waiting for Creep, waiting for that signal.

After so much torture it was finally here.

All the time they had spent on this goddamned island was finally coming to a close. Jinx could almost taste the fresh air of the world instead of the stale air of the prison, she could almost hear the bustle of cars again instead of eerie noises of unknown animals. The kids could finally get bathed. They could finally sleep in a bed. The kids would finally get some good rest. Jinx could buy them pajamas. She could get a small apartment on the edge of Jump City and take care of them until she could find a way to reverse the spell.

She stared at the jet for a moment longer, tears glistening in her eyes. There would be early morning cartoons, bagels and omelettes for breakfast, and some freshly made orange juice and lemonade for them. Hell, she'd even read to them if they'd want. Some stories of Batman for Robin, superhero comics for Starfire, and some Spongebob picture books for Cyborg and Beast Boy..

They could gather what was left of Raven's stuff from the abandoned Titan Tower and give her a proper funeral.. One complete with all of her books, one of her blue capes, and her private belongings. The kids would give her flowers, and little drawings that they drew just for her. All of them would be hilariously cute but beautiful at the same time. It would read: Rest in Piece Raben.

Jinx would provide everything for these children until she could find a reverse cure. She would do everything to make them happy.

They would give her the family she never got to have..

"Jink..?" Cyborg asked quietly, tugging on her large shirt. "Why you cry?"

Jinx blinked, unaware that she had tears slipping down her cheeks. Both Beast Boy and Cyborg were staring at her with concerned expressions, their mouths drooped open ever so slightly. She shook her head and wiped at her cheeks, forcing a small laugh.

"I'm not really sad. I'm just.. I'm really happy." Jinx explained, pulling Cyborg closer to her. "We're going to be so happy once we leave.."

They were going to be a family.

Jinx reached for the handle of the jet, about to pull the door open and usher Beast Boy and Cyborg inside, ready to start the machine the second she saw Creep flying through the entrance.

Suddenly, the entire metallic room was coated in red light. Blaring noise deafened them, making the three of them twist in pain at how loud the noise was. Before they could make a move, the doors burst open and Slade's men came pouring through, nearly running over one another in their attempt to get into the room.

Jinx let out a scream of utter pain as her arms were jerked backwards, feeling something in her right arm tear painfully as she was yanked off her feet. Forced down onto her knees, Jinx could hear Cyborg and Beast Boy's high pitched shrieks. Rough hands grappled at her face, yanking her chin upwards into the harsh bright light. Her arm was now throbbing dully, as though someone had poured acid on the inside and was slowly making it's way out. Jinx's eyes watered, the tears splashing down onto the marble tile in little puddles. Cyborg was screaming her name, Beast Boy was barking, and the horrible alarm noise never ceased.

Then it all stopped.

Jinx felt her heart thud painfully in her chest at the sudden silence. She couldn't even hear Cyborg or Beast Boy anymore. A rough hand cupped underneath her chin and forced her to look up, her eyes squinting at the light.

"Hello, Lorraine."

"Creep..." Jinx spat, her voice hoarse from the sudden screaming. She was staring into the face of the guy who she had temporarily trusted. Those lifeless eyes were staring at her with absolute glee, filled with sick amusement, grinning with terrible desire. The man was obviously smiling at her, satisfied with himself.

She saw Robin and Starfire being forced to the floor, gags over their little mouths as they were shoved to their knees.

Guns were pointed to their heads.

There was about to be an execution.

"No.." Jinx muttered unconsciously, her tears welling. "No! No! Goddammit! Stop it, stop it! Creep!"

Creep cocked his head at her. "I might have lied to you, Lorraine."

"No!" Jinx screamed, tears streaming down her face. "Please!"

"I am afraid your time is up here, Jinx." A voice said, over an intercom, a bit of static in the voice. It was Slade. The bastard was too smug to even appear personally. "I have been watching you. My spy has noted your betrayal. Why do you think your presence wasn't noticed earlier?"

"You smug bastard!" Jinx cried out, struggling to move once more. The Guards weighed her down. The kids were in the corner of her eyes, gagged. Tearful. Scared. "Kill me then! Spare the kids! Spare the Titans!"

"You haven't learned, foolish girl. Commence the slaughter, Agent 24."

Creep stepped forwards, a machine gun swept over his shoulder. A gleam flashed in his eyes. "My pleasure, Sir."
