Akko's Pov
"Ugh, what am I going to dooooo!" The Burnett yells into her pillow for the 10th time after hanging up with Amanda.
"There's nothing you can do Akko, you need to relax and enjoy your time with family and when you get back to Luna Nova you can try to find out what's going on." Maybe she just had family things to take care of and that's why she left, and Amanda is blowing it out of proportion. "Yeah, that's probably it! You know you two are closer than that. So don't let what Amanda says get you bent up.
If she did go back home with someone, I'm sure its an old friend. Besides, she's with me always and there's no sign of her having any interest in anyone else!" she says hopping out of bed with a slight bit of confidence more than she had moments ago.
Akko walks to her bedroom door takes a deep breath and tries to compose herself, and thinks my family can't see me like this.
Distraught and on the verge of a break down over a girl. A beautiful smart charming girl with an adorable accent, and eyes you can't help but want to swim in. The girl shakes her head, slaps her cheeks lightly, and starts talking to herself again "Get it together, be strong you can do this!" she inhales, opens her door and struts out. I might not have the confidence that I won't break down over this, but I can pretend in front of my family at least.
Diana's Pov
"My stomach is in knots what to do, I know what I want to do. Yet, I'm still worried I might not be enough to convince her parents. It's hard to say please let your daughter comes back to the school that she got bullied at countless times, and almost killed just as many."
Diana looks at her self in the mirror and clears her throat.
"Don't be silly just bring up all of her good points. She has plenty, and talk about how much she has grown. How bright of a future she'll have given how talented of a witch she is! And how sorely she would be missed if she were forced to leave Luna nova!" I took a deep breath and looked up at myself again nodding in agreement with myself, what would Akko think if he heard me talking to myself like this.
I must sound absurd.
Diana grabs her small purse pulls a few strands of hair from her face, and looks at herself in the full length mirrors one last time. "If I'm going to see Akko's parents, I might as well try to make the best impression.
She checked her makeup for any imperfections, and smoothed out her dress before admiring it one more time.
Pale blue mid length sleeveless dress with a mix of flora all along the bottom. Over it a white shawl with her white rounded heals to match.
"Simple yet elegant." Diana said while smiling at her reflection.
She turned her body and walked on towards the hotel door with a hope that she can bring Akko back. Turned the knob and made her way down to the lobby where her car service was waiting for her.
