"For this next couple of scenes, I'm going to have to bring in some others, alright? I ask that you don't kill them." he pointed this to mainly the two Xiao-Longs.
"Okay?" Tai started, unsure of what Orb ment until a loud pop could be heard
"What is the world? You! You're the bastard that appeared before I ended up… where the hell am I?" came a seething voice. Tai could only gulp as he looked upon his former wife.
"Raven." Qrow spat, glaring at his sister.
"Qrow. Tai. What in the name of Oum is going on?" Raven hissed, reaching for her sword.
Yang was steaming. Her eyes were red at this point, and was on the verge of flaming hair. "You…. YOU BITCH!" and with a roar, the blonde jumped at Raven. A surprised expression was replaced with a cool smugness. Raven reached for her sword to meet her daughter. Orb sighed, and glowed a bright yellow.
"ENOUGH!" orb boomed, his normally calm voice imploding to many times its volume. "THERE WILL BE NO DAMNED VIOLENCE IN MY THEATER! NOW SIT DOWN!"
Both mother and daughter immediately sat down in their respective chairs, Raven as far away from Ozpin as possible. They sat in a cowed and shocked silence
"Now, without any more interference, There are two more people for me to bring in." another pop teleported in James Ironwood and Winter Schnee.
"Uhh, Sir? What's going on?" Winter said, pulling out her sword
"Not sure. Ozpin?" James asked his friend.
"We are here to watch a particular student of mine in various universes and realities." he said calmly, sipping some coffee. "We have seen him as an archeologist, Knight, Civilian and huntsman in training."
"Ah, and the orb?"
"Not fully sure what he is. But he seems harmless enough."
"Excellent. You all are taking this much better than most people. Anyway, the next viewing is set up."
The scene faded in with a muddy grey flat plane of dirt and ash. The text "The Bastier Frontier Border." faded in and out on the screen as the camera zoomed in on a group of soldiers marching through
"Oh gods no." Ironwood sighed, putting his hand to his face.
"What do you mean by that, General?" Weis asked, noticing his scrunched face.
"Why the hell is Blondie on the frontier?" Qrow asked, wishing his flask to be refilled.
"Oh no." Various members of the crowd said, realization coming on to their face
As the camera waded through the scampering soldiers, it made its way to the head of the group, where a familiar duo stood.
"Alrighty, Cortez, what are we looking at?" Jaune asked his fellow blonde as he scanned the horizon.
"We are looking at the Bastier frontier Amigo. An endless expanse of mud and ash left over from the Sugo bomb test a couple years back." the hat wearing gunslinger responded with a smile
"Hey, I recognize him! He was in the first one we saw!" Ruby said, pointing to him on the screen
"Yes. Sebastian Cortez often ends up with his life intertwining with Jaune arc in one way or another. I'd give it a 60% chance that they know each other in any given universe."
"Huh, does he know this sebastian in our own universe?" Ozpin asked, contemplating the possibilities.
Orb just shrugged as the movie played
"Soo, incredibly radiated?" Jaune sighed, about to turn around
"No. remember, the Sugo bomb used primarily non dust combustables with a dust amplifier and spark base. So not as radiated as you might think. Just an endless expanse of ash." his partner spat. "And to think this used to be fields and fields of wild grass."
Jaune just patted him on the shoulder. "This is the fastest way to reach the Branwen tribe?"
At this, Raven perked up. "My tribe? What do they want with my tribe?" she thought. Qrow was also skeptical, thinking something along the sames lines as his sister
Sebastian nodded. Jaune just looked out to the horizon as the troops marched up behind him. "Good. they will either give us what we want, or they will fall." he said to the setting sun. turning to the troops, "Los Hobos! 42 Infantry division! Break Camp out! Nightfall is upon us! Standard guard!" the soldiers gave a sigh and started to unpack. A dark green Standard was raised, a stylized man with a beard and beanie in black on it. It really was just the beard and the beanie, the space between making up the rest of the face.
"James, is that a division under Atlas? I don't recognize it." Glynda asked, but the general just shook his head. "Not one of mine."
"Hey, remember, we got a mandatory meeting with the captains tonight. Don't be late for that. Remember last time?"
Jaune shuddered at the thought of being late again. "I want the men halfway by tomorrow night, Cortez. We have to get the maiden before whatever godcursed fuck that wants it gets it." He turned and sprinted to the largest tent that was up
"The Maiden?" Ruby asked, "what's that?" Weiss just shrugged. Raven was a pale white.
"Shit. They know about me, and they are coming to the tribe for me. Fucking hell, this Jaune person is dangerous" Ozpin was also having a small panic attack, the words Godcursed Fuck led for him to think that this version of jaune knew about both him and Salem.
Sebastian gave a mock salute. "Godspeed Admiral." the 42 division's anthem, eerily similar to the soviet union's, started to play as the sun set.
The scene cut to Jaune in a large tent with similar standards leaning over a map with several random token objects on it, representing various forces.
"Gentlemen. We have an issue." Jaune addressed the members of the tent. Cortez stood on his right, and Ren stood on his left.
"Renny look! It's you! You're a Hobo!" Nora laughed. Ren just sighed at his partners antics
"With the most recent fall of Beacon, the Enemy has the Fall Maiden. We must act swiftly, for the clocks are against us. Captain Sugovitch, what news do we have from the enemy?"
"Grimm move northwards towards Atlas from the wastes. The grim push from Beacon, but their numbers are diminishing rapidly due to both huntsmen and Atlas forces." an old man with a impressive chin beard stated, pointing to the map
"So while Atlas moves to defend Vale, Salem strikes from the unprotected north." ren nodded, moving some black chess pieces and burnt wood to the north part of the map. Some black pieces were removed from a large grey tube labeled 'Beacon'. Several green chips were moved from the Minstrel grassfields southwards.
"Ambassador Yung, tell me, how goes our international push?"
A large Panda faunus looked up at his Superior. "Very well, High Admiral."
"High Admiral? I've never heard of the position." James said
"High Admiral is not the actual title that Jaune has." Orb explained. "He has a title list three miles long, but the 'title' High Admiral is a combination of two Titles. One being High ArchTemplar of the First Order of the Brotherhood, and the second being Chief Admiral of the 42 division."
"Wait, are we going to ignore the statement "After the fall of Beacon?"" Ruby pointed out. Cinder did her best to hide into her chair as the Villians winced just a little.
"While talks with Minstral to recognize Menagerie as a legitimate kingdom have been difficult and slow, Vaulco is completely on board. Beyond this, the push to incorporate the White Fang into the Chain of Command as a branch of the Military have been going faster than expected, but still slower than ideal." The panda sighed.
"I'm sorry, they want to do what?" Ironwood asked, astounded.
"Like hell the white fang would join the government. We act in the interest of Faunus kind, not for politicians." Sienna snarled, earning a glare from Ironwood.
Ghira blinked owlishly, and then considered it. "Actually, it's genius. With the Fang being part of the government, they are leashed and can't act out on it's own, and be terrorists. And with government backing, it can do more for Faunus kind than it could ever do." he mulled. "This Jaune Arc is a Genius." Sienna pondered the thought, but shook her head at the possibility.
"Slow progress is better than none. Keep it up. And Capitan Ababasterson? How is the home front?" Green pieces where shuffled around the board
"Vale HQ is having a nightmare with the displaced people from Vale, but good news, recruitment is through the roof. As for our current escort to Viradima, it goes well. They're running out of food, but they will have enough to get the frontier town started."
Jaune nodded. "Well, Gentleman, I feel that that wraps it up for tonight. You have your orders, we proceed unaltered. Yung, alert Atlas HQ of the grimm movement if they don't know already. Goodnight." Jaune said, dismissing his subordinates. Ren and Cortez stayed behind. "Soo, game night?" Cortez asked, pulling out a box. The scene faded to black.
"I kind of liked that one. This Jaune kid is a good kid, eh Qrow? I approve of him" Tai said, munching on some chips. Qrow grunted in agreement. Ruby just smiled that they approved of her crush.
"You can view the universes we've already seen and different scenes from them in the Archives. Hall on the left, it's the blue door labeled 'Archives'. You can't miss it." Orb said, "anyway. I'll be starting the next viewing soon. After that, i'm thinking we should have an intermission."
