A short explanation later.

The scene opens up with a courtroom as several vale councilmen sit in front of a panel. Jaune sat in front of them, learly on trail or a hearing.

"We are here to proceed with the court hearing of Jaune Arc."

"Wait, Why is Jaune at court? What did he do?" Ruby complained, while the villains also wondered that. What did the kid do to end up in court. It sounded like he was a good guy.

"He made the most advanced prosthetic weapon in the known world." Orb responded, flipping through a comic labeled Iron Man

"The court calls upon lieutenant Colonel Lie Ren to the court."

"Ren?" Jaune asked, standing up. The reporters in the room muttered and turned to take pictures.

"Hey Buddy. Didn't expect you to be here."

"Here I am. Deal with it."

Kali leaned over to her daughter, whispering. "Is he always like that?"

"Who? Jaune or Ren?"

"Well… Both, I guess."

"I have no idea, really."

"I have here a complete report on the Iron Man weapon compiled by Colonel Lie, and Colonel, for the record, could you read paragraph 3 from page 74?"

"Are you requesting that I read specific selections from my report, councilman?" Ren asked, clearly annoyed at this

"Yes, I am."

Ironwood grimace, recognizing what the council man was doing. "Slimy bastard." he mumbled

"I was under the impression that i would be testifying in a much more comprehensive and understandable manner with detail." Ren gave a level look at the councilman

"I understand, but a lot of things changed today.-"

"You do understand that reading a single paragraph out of an entire report without context does not reflect the purpose or summary of -"

"I do understand, I do."

"The report and is misleading?"

"Just read it."

Ren sighed, opening the thick document in front of him. "Very well. "As he does not operate within any definable branch of government, Iron Man presents a potential threat to the security of both Vale and to her interests." I did however, go on to summarise that the benefits of Iron Man far outweigh the liabilities and that it would be in our interest to fold-"

"That's enough Colonel. We don't need any more." the councilman attempted to cut him off.

"Jaune Arc into the chain of command." Ren finished, closing his document

Jaune leaned forward into the mic. "I'm not a joiner, but I won't say no to secretary of defence, if you ask nicely." The reporters laughed

"Was Jaune always this… Cocky?" Ruby asked. Pyrrha shook her head. "Not really, no. he can be pretty witty though."

Yang smiled at that, wondering why she never saw him be witty

"We can amend the hours a little." he smirked, leaning back. The counsilman sighed, turning his attention to Lie Ren

"Colonel, could we please see the documentation images associated with your report?"

"Counsilman, with all due respect, I do not believe this to be the time or place to reveal such sensitive imagery-"
"We understand, Colonel Ren. now show the damn pictures."

Ren sighed again, looking at Jaune apologetically. "Here we have confirmed from both central and allied intelligence that several other enemy countries are trying to replicate the Ironman weapon-"

Ruby's eyes light up at the mention of a weapon. Tai just sighed as Raven looked around nervously, clearly uncomfortable being so close to her ex husband.

Jaune just rolled his eyes, tapping on his scroll. "Time for some transparency. Going to borrow your screens. I needs them." the screens froze, running a program window. It completed, reading 'Welcome Mr. Arc'.

"This should be North Menagerie." Jaune said as it showed a robot walking forward, then collapsing, firing rounds everywhere.

"Reminds me of the first attempts at my Robots." Ironwood sighed, face palming.

"It really does, doesn't it?" Ozpin smiled, remembering the times that the robots went wrong.

"Someone shut that off." the counsilman said, standing up

"Here we have Atlas, I think." Jaune said, pointing his scroll at another screen. It showed a rocket propelled suit of armor fly off, out of control before crashing into the ground.

Ironwood winced, remembering similar incidents during testing

The screen cut again to another test, watermarked Watts industry.

"Wait, is that Watts? When did he get into the game?" Jaune smirked as Arthur Watts was desperately trying to turn the screen off.

"Arthur, shape up. You're on TV." Jaune said as the test robot overturned, a loud scream emitting from it. "Yeah, no grave threat here. Most countries, 5, maybe 10 years? Watts industries, 20."

"I would like to point out that that test subject survived." Aurther said, glaring at Jaune. He just smiled back

"I think we've seen enough, Mr. Stark. You've made your point, and I don't see any reason…" the counsilman started

"My point is, your welcome?" Jaune shrugged. The councilman just stared at him. "For what?"

Jaune turned his head, as though he was saying 'Really?'. "I'm your nuclear deterrent. We're safe. Vale is safe. You want my property, YOU CAN'T HAVE IT!'' The last part was louder than everyone else as he slapped the table. "But I did you a big favor." He stood up, turning to the reporters. "I have successfully privatized world peace." he proclaimed, holding up peace signs. He proceeded to walk out of the courtroom, smiling at the cameras and shaking hands with reporters. The scene ended when he went out the door

Ozpin nearly did a spit take. "He did what now?" the headmaster asked, turning towards Orb. "ehh, kind of. If his plan was implemented, it would work. People have issues, however, with his plan because it gives one person a whole lot of power."

General Ironwood hummed. "Understandable, but still… world peace. Wow."

Pyrrha smiled, "He always did have big plans."

Cinder just scoffed, earning a glare from some of the viewers. "Orb, we've seen this Jaune as only a good person so far, correct?"

"Ehh, kind of? Why, would you like to see a version of Jaune that is evil?"

Cinder only smiled widely and nodded. Orb sighed. "Very well."
