Barry stood somewhat wide-eyed at the scene before him. These two wizards clearly knew who he was (then again after the war who really didn't know?) The only question was, to introduce himself as Acnologia or Barry?

….

Yeah, Barry is a pretty stupid name for a genocidal dragon slayer. He wasn't Acnologia either, not really. Maybe there was a good in-between somewhere? While he was thinking, it looked more like he was just staring off into space to the other wizards.

"Tieb, we need to go! Especially if this man is who he said he is!"

"I thought Acnologia was a dragon, though."

"Who cares if he's actually Acnologia!? He took out all of the lion knights without help! He's dangerous!"

"He could help us."

"Are you crazy!?"

"Well, he's against the great father like we are, right?"

"I mean sure that's true, but nothing we say will make him follow us! What will the master think!?"

"Uh, that we just brought someone who could help us win is what she'll think!"

As they bickered, Barry thought up a solution. He remembered hearing about another incredibly destructive dragon, and its name started with B!

"My name is...Bahamut."

'That sounds way better!'

"What!? You just said you were Acnologia, though!" Tieb hollered.

"It's complicated. I now have what some people may call...split personalities."

'Really?'

'I'm not telling them the truth; it sounds way more ridiculous!'

"Tieb, maybe it's not a good idea to yell at the strong, mentally unstable man."

Normally Barry, er, Bahamut, or Acnologia? Whatever the fuck his name is now would feel offended, but he had to give her credit where credit was due. He was about as mentally unstable as a person could get. Why? Easy! He had a murderous psychopath living in his head!

"I'm curious...about this little rebellion of yours. I'd like to see your base." Bahamut said (We're sticking with that name then? Okay.)

"Y-you do? Well...I guess we can't really stop him." Ninzi said she was still wary of him, smart, really.

"Alright! Let's head back then!" Tieb shouted. Bahamut groaned a little, Tieb was like a toned-down version of Natsu from what he could tell. They all walked in silence, and Bahamut's blue hair flowed in the wind as they walked, leaving a pile of beaten knights behind them.

"So, what's the plan for whenever mister apocalypse comes back to get us?" Erik asked within the confines of Christina.

"We rally all the forces we can gather. I doubt a plan like before would work again on him, especially now that he has his mind intact. I'll speak with strategists like Lucy and Makarov from Fairy Tail. I'll also contact the council and the royal family, so they're all aware of the threat we face today." Jellal responded.

"Seven is a problem for us, though. The dictator there may not respond nicely to having Acnologia back on his turf, especially since Fiore reported him killed last year. He doesn't like anything too powerful roaming in his lands that he can't control or defeat conventionally." Ichiya mentioned.

"Indeed, which is precisely why I must speak to Queen Hisui about this. Her father, as well, since while not king anymore has more experience in the field of war and other nations."

An orb within the Christina began flashing, and Hoteye answered it.

"Hello? This thing is correct?" An elderly voice spoke out.

"Ah, why yes, it is Makarov! What happened? We tried to contact you, but nothing was coming through!"

"Worry not Hoteye, just tell me what happened."

"Of course. We intercepted Acnologia, but he defeated us, supposedly anyways. The point is, we were unable to prevent him from leaving Fiore, he's in Seven now, and we're dutily preparing for his return! Oh yeah!"

"I see. Well, we're all on the ground a fair number of miles away, I'll send you the location. Perhaps we could all come together and properly discuss a plan of attack?"

"I'll ask Jellal right away!" Hoteye yelled. He missed the odd smile that crept onto Makarov's face when he said that.

Soon Christina was en route to someplace near Mountain Hakobe. They landed down, and yet when the wizards all exited the Christina, none of them saw Fairy Tail anywhere.

Erik was the first to react.

"Everyone get back in Christina, NOW!" Erik roared.

"Erik? What's wrong?" Jellal asked. Erik didn't answer, instead of a pillar of iron connected with the side of his face. Erik flipped in midair and landed on his feet to see that Gajeel had leapt out of the bushes wearing a white robe.

"Your mine poison breath!"

"Gajeel!? Wait, I recognize that robe. Your part of the rebellious cult aren't you."

"You're smarter than you look, heavenly wizard." A woman said. Touka appeared from the bushes, and white energy started seeping off her. Wizards began trying to enter Christina, but a massive lightning bolt blocked their path.

"None of you are getting past me," Laxus said. Soon they were all surrounded by Fairy Tail wizards in white robes. Macbeth sent multiple blasts of greenish, dark magic towards Laxus. A dark blast of magic from the side intercepted his blast and caused a magic explosion, and he saw it was Mirajane in her satan soul form.

"Rumbling, !"

A massive pillar of white, magic energy shot out from the Earth and hit most of the mages directly. By the end of it all, only a couple of mages were left standing. Sting, Rogue, Macbeth, Jellal, Erik, Minerva, and the rest of Crime sorciere minus Sorano.

"Shit! They got Jura too!?" Sting exclaimed. He suddenly gripped his neck as he felt his airway slowly being blocked off by something. There was a pressure in the air around him, and his heart began to ache terribly.

"Sting!?" Rogue exclaimed before falling victim to the technique as well. Minerva attempted to use her territory magic to teleport the two of them out of harm's way before having to defend herself from an attack to her right. It was Elfman, and he resembled a huge, humanoid lion with horns.

"Beast soul: Werelion!" Elfman roared before charging at Minerva again. She utilized her territory spell, and she enclosed her body in a bubble of magic before vanishing from sight. She reappeared in front of Elfman and released a wave of territory magic that blasted him away.

"You should learn more than one method of attack Fairy." Minerva said, clearly annoyed at the situation. She tried using her territory magic again, but a large palm struck her in the face and sent her flying away.

"M'lady…no." Rogue choked out; every second, he grew weaker. So he morphed into a shadow and soared towards Hyberion.

"How very foolish, hiding from the likes of a vampire in the shadows." Hyberion said. A wave of darkness spread around Hyberion, and his eyes began to glow red in the darkness. While Rogue was within the shadows, he saw unnatural darkness coming towards him.

'He's able to affect my shadows!?' Rogue thought. He went back to the surface, and the moment he resurfaced, he felt his airway close up again, but with far more intensity than beforehand. Rogue was about to launch an attack that would hopefully distract Hyberion while he still had energy left, but something beat him to it.

"We need them all alive, Hyberion," Toula said to the vampiric mage. He instantly ceased his attack, and both Sting and Rogue started gasping for air.

"As you wish, White mage Touka." He said elegantly. Sting rubbed his throat and coughed up a storm.

"Geez, no wonder that guy is the number one mage. I actually thought he was a pushover after hearing about what happened with God Serena," Sting commented.

"Agreed, we can't underestimate him. His magic is unlike anything I've ever seen before; I fear what might happen if I try and eat the shadows that he produces." Rogue added. As they fought, Jellal crouched down.

"Meteor!" He chanted. Jellal was engulfed in a golden light, and his body shot towards Laxus. Laxus responded by coating his own body in lightning and shooting towards Jellal.

'He's faster than I assumed!' Jellal realized. The two gave chase to each other, bouncing off trees and the ground in streaks of yellow light, and the two met above the group. They reared their fists back, and their magic collided in a massive flash of lightning and heavenly body magic. The resulting explosion toppled Christina over and sent both of them flying backwards.

"Poison Dragon's roar!" Erik yelled. A stream of dark red mist shot towards Gajeel, who coated himself in Iron to block the attack. Erik smiled as his attack connected, but his smile faltered.

"What? You're resistant to poison!?" Erik yelled.

"Bane particles never worked well on me pal, so why would poison be any different!?" Gajeel yelled. Gajeel leapt up and sent an iron pillar towards Erik that the poison dragon slayer caught with one hand. Erik unleashed a large wave of sound magic that hurt the ears of everyone around them; even Gajeel was dazed. Erik ran up to Gajeel and punched him in his iron-clad throat, Gajeel coughed and tried kicking Erik. Erik leapt backwards.

"Iron dragon sword!" Gajeel chanted before transforming his arm into a sword. While they fought, Macbeth was busy dealing with Mirajane. Racer was actually dealing with Jet, Droy and Max all at once with Hoteye helping him. Racer kicked Jet in the back.

"You think you're fast punk? You're nothing compared to me!" Racer exclaimed.

"Solid script, Ice!" Levy chanted from the side. The ground turned to ice, and Racer slipped. Plants shot out of the ground due to Droy, and they shot towards Racer before Hoteye intervened with the liquid ground. Levy, Jet, Droy and Max were all trapped in the liquid ground before Hoteye slammed them into the ground.

"No hard feelings! Oh yeah!" Hoteye exclaimed. He and Racer were stuck dealing with all the other Fairy Tail wizards, though. While not particularly strong, altogether, they were proving somewhat formidable.

"Animal soul: Fox soul!" Lianna chanted. In a puff of smoke, her body morphed into that of a girl with pointed ears, nine long tails and furry, clawed hands. She slammed her tails into the ground, and it pushed back Racer, Hoteye protected himself using his liquid ground technique.

Meanwhile, Macbeth used his reflected magic to defend against Mirajane's soul extinction spell. She dodged the attack and landed on the ground.

"Satan Soul: Halphas!" She chanted. Her body morphed, and she had blue, spiked wings sprouting out from her forearms along with blue scales around her face. She looked forward and vanished from Macbeth's point of view. She reappeared behind him and kicked him so hard he spat up blood and was sent flying away.

Jellal slowly got back up and shook his head. He looked ahead to see the massive battle taking place before him, and the white wizard calmly watching from the sidelines with a smile on her face.

'We're outnumbered, and I'd like to say pretty outgunned. I need an Ace in the hole to have a shot at getting back at her.' Jellal thought. He saw Laxus start walking towards him. So he did something he hadn't done in a while, he created a thought projection with half his power.

"May the seven stars judge you! Grand Chariot!" Siegrain cried out. Laxus was engulfed in a yellow explosion of magic, but it wasn't nearly strong enough to stop him due to it being half as strong as normal. Jellal used meteor and shot past Laxus towards Sting and Rogue, who was still fighting Hyberion.

"Rogue! Get out of here!" Jellal yelled before undoing his thought projection right before delivering a good blow to Hyberion that sent him flying away and making him spit up blood. Hyberion growled in anger and vanished in a puff of smoke. Jellal was confused before sensing a presence behind him. Hyberion punched him in the back, so hard Jellal keeled over.

"What are you saying!?" Rogue yelled as Sting assisted Jellal by kicking Hyberion in the Jaw, Sting went flying a moment later.

"You have the best shot of escaping with Gajeel focused on Erik! If I try to escape, Laxus will catch me! We don't have very good odds of winning here! Contact team Natsu by any means necessary! If anyone can help us right now, it's them!"

"But-"

"Rogue, he's right! If you don't leave right now, we'll all be controlled!" Sting yelled before Hyberion punched him again. Stung let out a Holy Nova ray that Hyberion dodged by transforming into a large swarm of bat's.

"Oh, come on already! What the fuck were you doing during the Alvarez war!?" Sting screamed.

"Mostly recovering from the beating God Serena had given me before he was promptly torn apart in the blink of an eye by Acnologia!" Hyberion answered. Rogue looked to the ground, conflicted, but he knew deep down they were right. Rogue looked to Frisch and Lector, lying unconscious on the ground. He vanished into the ground and sped towards the two cats before bringing them into the shadows with him and fleeing the scene.

"Thank you, Rogue," Jellal yelled. Hyberion looked ready to give chase.

"Leave him Hyberion. One rat won't make a huge difference."

"What if he does? They plan on calling the brother of Zeref to aid."

"Not even the brother of Zeref will be able to do anything once I have Acnologia's power in my grasp," Touka said. Jellal's eyes widened in surprise.

"So that was your goal all along? To capture Acnologia's power!? I can't believe I'm saying this, but I hope he shows you just how futile that plan will be without some major help."

"Oh, I've dealt with beings of his stature before. The water god dragon is a testament to that."

"Really? A water dragon compares to a man who has surpassed the power of time itself?" Jellal asked. That gave Touka pause.

"...what did you just say?"

"I've nothing else to say to you, White mage Touka!" Jellal yelled out before launching towards her; he was intercepted by Laxus flying up and punching him square in the jaw. Jellal groaned as he fell to the ground, blood seeped from his mouth, and a nasty bruise formed where he was sucker-punched.

This was going to be a long fight.

A large group of people walked only a couple miles away from the battle of Fairy Tail vs Crime sorcière plus Sabertooth. They came across a large group of bandits that were equipped with magical weapons.

"Alright! Give us yer shit now, and maybe I'll let most of you walk away!" A larger man wielding a staff yelled. He grinned as his eyes landed on the woman of the group; she just frowned.

"May I? Skullion?" She asked.

"Oh, please do, Kiria. I imagine it will be satisfying to see." The man wearing death-themed armour answered. Kiria licked her lips in anticipation, before two blades of magic burst from her forearms.

"Shit! They're mages! Open fire!" The lead bandit cried out. They all opened fire, but Kilia somehow cut through their energy blasts, and soon…

All their heads were rolling on the ground.

"Excellent work, Kiria." Skullion praised. He put a palm out, and the corpses all vanished into nothing but ash.

"Let's continue our search for the dragon king Acnologia, for Diabolos," Skullion said. Four menacing figures walked through the brush, unaware of the massive battle taking place just a few miles away.

The town of Hargeon was still evacuated from the massive upset that had alerted the entire kingdom of Fiore. If you were to stand in the ghost town of Hargeon, you would soon see a massive shadow flying overhead. A shadow with large, red, leathery wings and a massive, scaly body. The figure landed onto the port of Hargeon, and it roared into the air. Soon fire engulfed the entire town, houses burnt to the ground, and the dragon smiled at its handiwork.

"Finally, I've arrived at Fiore. The challenger seems to have gone further East. It doesn't matter; he's only delaying the inevitable." Ignia claimed before roaring once more. Every flame in the town intensified upon hearing his cry, and Hargeon was quickly reduced into nothing but smouldering embers before Ignia flapped his wings, and took off into the sky.

Within Magnolia, a lone man was walking by the Fairy Tail guild hall, and he noticed how empty the place was.

'How odd.' He thought. He wasn't a wizard, just a merchant, so he had never actually seen the interior. Making sure no one was watching, he decided to walk inside.

The hall was impressive. With picnic benches and a large bar, there was also a mission board too. (A/N: I don't know why, but I recall the guildhall resembling a castle after the GMG, yet in the Alvarez Arc, it looked almost like it did in the first season, is there a reason for that?) He took it all on as best he could, before noticing something strange. A black mist hung in the air, and it was spreading fast. He watched as the mist caused wood to turn grey, and then turn to nothing but ash. The floorboards were eroding fast, as were the tables, and even the walls of the building.

'Is this some kind of fucked up security magic!? Fuck this; I'm outta here!' The man thought. He ran out of the guild and smashed his way through the main entrance, much to the confusion of many random onlookers. They went by their day, not noticing how the guildhall was slowly eroding.

So, if I missed anyone during the fight between FT and Crime sorciere, I'm sorry, it is shockingly challenging to write about that many characters fighting at once.

Anyways, yes, Barry is now Bahamut. Much better, you actually might've guessed that if you found Barry's wiki page.

Team Natsu will come up. Eventually, I promise, but I will probably end up focusing on Barry, sorry, BAHAMUT next chapter since it technically is his story.

Stay safe!

Don't stay too close to black mist either; I heard it's rather deadly, especially whenever it's around Fairy Tail (cough!) curse (cough!)
