Barry was walking behind the two rebels, and had been for the last two hours. To pass the time, he decided to scour through Acnologia's memories a bit, and hopefully try to build on his persona a bit more convincingly. Claiming a split personality wasn't exactly bullshit (it was completely true) but it certainly sounded like bullshit coming out of his mouth. He never really forgot whose body he was in, how could he? He just forgot that it was unconvincing to sound so casual in the body of the strongest person in the world.
'I have to remember, I'm not Barry from Earth anymore. I'm...not Acnologia, I'm Bahamut now, and in-between from myself and Acnologia. It certainly sounds way better then fucking Barry, that's for sure. I'm not the flash for god sake, I'm the worst murderer and war torn monster in the world, and I think I'm starting to remember that more and more lately.'
'That's the smartest thing I've ever heard you think.'
'Oh, great, you're back, I was hoping you floated down to hell already.'
'You're stuck with me until we merge. Then we'll be a fused version of our minds, I shudder at the thought.'
'YOU shudder!? You're not the one being forced to mentally coexist with an apocalyptic monster!"
'You're not the one whose title went from the king of all dragons to the king of all cowards. At least with Bahamut I'll have a good in-between. I approve of the name, just not the being I've been reduced to pairing with.'
'I never asked for this either you know!'
'Oh, I am quite aware BARRY, I've seen your sad excuse of a life. You are a failure even amongst common humans, a disgrace that runs from every challenge and obstacle rather than overcoming them. You disgust me.'
'...You...You saw my memories?...then...did you see-'
'I refuse to believe my entire life is due to some writer in a basement somewhere in your world. It can't be true, it ISN'T true.'
'Then why is everything identical!?'
'I refuse to discuss this with you, human!'
'You were just as much of a human as I am!'
'Don't go there, you have no idea what I am capable of, even in this state. Your home was not ravaged by beings you couldn't hope to overcome in your wildest dreams, you were not betrayed and left to rot by the very creature you once knew as family, and you have never seen the face of battle. You shied away at every obstacle in your life, and I overcame every obstacle thrown at me. We are nothing alike.'
'Where did that get you though!? What did killing off the dragons actually do besides end the war!? You were beaten by a bunch of mages that were alive through sheer dumb luck and bullshit!'
'I still fought for my ideals! You've never fought for anything in your entire life! You simply wallowed in self-pity after a few measly failures, and disconnected from everyone you ever loved. How childish.'
'I couldn't see them again, not after the things I said. Besides what would you know of loved one's!? Last I checked, the kingdom labelled you the worst monster to ever exist!'
'DON'T SPEAK TO ME OF LOVED ONE'S WHEN YOU HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED TRUE DESPAIR ONCE IN YOUR PATHETIC LIFETIME HUMAN! I HAD A FAMILY, AND IT WAS TORN AWAY FROM ME! YOU ABANDONED YOURS, WHEREAS I HAD TO WATCH THEM BURN ALIVE IN DRAGONFIRE!'
"Mister, Bahamut? If that's who I'm even talking to right now, are you the other guy right now or?" Tieb began asking. Bahamut silenced his inner monologue between his two halves, and looked down at the diamond mage.
"That was just an excuse to get you off my back human, I am Bahamut, I told that to the guard to inspire fear in the great Father. For my name does not have meaning yet, but my old one does."
"Old one? What the hell are you talking about!?"
"Acnologia died a year ago, technically, I am what remains of him. I am what came of his body recovering, but his soul and mind not recovering fully. I've physically recovered fully now, but my mind has changed. Address me as Bahamut, and we'll have no issues." Bahamut said. His eyes widened in slight surprise.
'I sounded like Acnologia just there.'
'Our mental states are beginning to merge.'
'When will it fully happen?'
'I'm uncertain. Perhaps when we both come to terms with each other fully, and understand each other. It may never happen, as I refuse to connect with a lower being such as yourself.'
'The feelings are mutual.'
Bahamut walked towards a rather large building that was built into the side of a mountain. More than likely for secrecy purposes. The doors were made of steel, and they had a slot in the middle for someone on the inside to peek out from. Ninzi banged on the door, and the slot opened up. The man inside looked ready to let them in before looking towards Bahamut. His eyes bulged out of their sockets nearly, and he fell back from the doorway. No one dared to break the silence (especially since Bahamut was having an inner argument between his two halves) before the man came back up to the door.
"N-Ninzi, Tieb? W-who is that?" The man asked timidly.
"His name's...Bahamut...he wanted to help the rebellion."
"A-and you guys just let him follow you?"
"Does it feel like we could've stopped him Pree!?" Ninzi tried to whisper, Bahamut heard her say it regardless due to his enhanced senses.
"F-fair enough I guess, I'll let the master know-"
"Don't bother Pree, I'm already here." A female voice said from behind the door. The door swung open suddenly, which kicked up some dust in the process. An older woman stepped out from the mountain base and stared straight towards Bahamut. She resembled a type of ranger from a fantasy story through and through, equipped with a brown cloak, a fur coat and weapons dressed all over her attire. Her hair was done up in a long braid as well. She began examining him with her eyes alone, almost as if sizing up a potential threat.
Without a second to spare, Bahamut watched as she slowly reached for a knife, and to his surprise, she threw it straight at him. The world seemed to slow down for a moment, and Bahamut easily sidestepped the attack, and allowed the knife to fly harmlessly past him. He looked at her with confusion, and felt something. It was like a sixth sense, he could feel her doing something, but he wasn't sure what, until a knife struck him in the back of the head.
'How, wait, that was the knife she threw earlier wasn't it?'
'You're a fool for not dodging that with all your body's innate speed. If that was one of the God dragons attacking us, that might've caused us an injury that would in turn cost us the fight.'
'She's just a normal mage though, I saw no reason to take her too seriously.'
'I understand you know how powerful your body is, but there is a difference between testing prowess and arrogance. You witnessed my fight with Irene Belserion did you not? I tested her despite thinking she wasn't all too impressive at first, and she proved me wrong. I defended against her attacks, not allowing them to hit my body like an immature child testing their durability.'
'Then what about the fights with the dragon slayers!? You sat there and let them hit you.'
'I needed them alive! I needed to break their spirits! I couldn't afford to kill them off, lest my soul and body would've broken apart from the sheer amount of magic I possessed!'
'Fine, so how are we fine now!? Why is my soul and body not split into two separate dimensions!?'
'...I do not know.'
"You are fast, and incredibly durable, but you lack a fighter's true instinct. Do you truly wish to aid us? Do you know of the sacrifices we have made thus far? The people that have died so that we may have a fighting chance?"
"...no...so why don't you show me." Bahamut said. She narrowed her eyes, before snapping her fingers.
"Not yet, I wish to test your resolve. Your magic is too high for us to force you into anything, so you must allow us to do this to you, are you ready?" She asked.
"I suppose. What am I even doing?"
"My associate here can use his magic to help you overcome mental struggles, and obstacles, all while revealing your true nature."
'True nature? I don't like that, not with you in my head.'
'Are you backing away again, coward?'
'No, I'm just stating facts. You're the worst killer in the world, if she sees my true nature, she'll see yours as well. Which will make them lose trust in us.'
'...I shall leave this decision to you.'
'What? Why?'
'You are a coward, and you are weak. However, you also possess an inkling of knowledge I forgot long ago. What it feels like to be vulnerable, and weak. That kind of fear may have saved my life in the Alvarez war, as I threw caution to the wind centuries ago.'
'...'
"Is there any other test I may perform instead? I only seek to aid your rebellion, not join up with it. Once this is over, I am leaving Seven for good." Bahamut explained.
"Once this is over? This rebellion has lasted for almost a century now, and you believe it will fade away soon just because YOU showed up on our doorstep!?"
"...Yes, I do. Who's your most powerful member?" Bahamut asked.
"No, I am no fool. I know you are powerful, what I am looking for is trust, trust that you are not another spy, trust that you won't betray us when given a better opportunity by the great Father. Trust that these two rebellious ingrates, who went against direct orders and traveled too close to the main city didn't bring a secret spy back to our camp!"
"Then allow me to prove it some other way, woman. I have enough magic power inside of my body, to level an...entire town. How are the Great Father's territories managed? His forces spread out? How many rebel factions and camps are there? Let me give you an advantage, send me alone if need be." Bahamut asked. Barry was just going off of random guesses in his mind, but he was noticing the changes in the way he spoke all too well.
She seemed conflicted.
"Fine then, have it your way. I'll leave Seven, and-"
"Wait...I suppose it can't hurt to have you do this...the Great Father keeps control of various villages around Seven using large military bases structured in between a number of villages. If you can take even one of these bases out, then I'll reconsider." She said.
"Where's the nearest one?"
"The main road is just a kilometer North from here, follow it and you'll come across one of the villages, and from there you'll find the base." She said while also pointing North. Bahamut grinned, and for a split second, everyone nearby felt an ominous aura come from his body before leaping into the sky. It was higher then he meant to go.
"Shit! Not again!" Bahamut yelled, luckily he didn't flip over a million times over like he did the first time he jumped in Magnolia. Bahamut saw the villages down below, and he could also see the military camp clearly. As it was larger then all the other villages. Bahamut landed in the town square of one of the villages, and his impact caused rubble to fly into the air. Civilians screamed in terror and ran off to their homes.
'Whoops, I guess that would be pretty terrifying to see.'
Bahamut stood up, and lightly brushed himself off before recalling where the military base was. Before he could leave, he heard voices.
"Freeze! In the name of the empire of Seven!" A guard shouted while pointing a staff at him. Bahamut looked at him.
'Let's go over combat basics, human. First few rules, one: If the enemy is in range, so are you. Two:Never stick to one pattern, it makes you predictable. People who develop a certain fighting style can be planned against, it's actually the amateurs backed into a corner that are often the most dangerous. Use that to your advantage, the more you fight the more you'll develop a sense for it.'
'I thought professionals were more experienced and trained to fight, also stronger.'
'They are, but only when they can switch up their fighting techniques when they have to. You have the advantage of not being limited to a single element.'
'I can't use magic though.'
'Which is perfect for honing your skills early on. There are now forty guards around you by the way.'
Bahamut broke out of his trance, and realized that yes, there were in fact forty guards around him.
'Let's make this more challenging. If your cloak is hit even once, you fail this test, and I won't let you move for an hour, now go!'
Bahamut groaned slightly in annoyance upon hearing that. He eyed the guards quickly, and found that all but five seemed normal. The other five were most likely captains, just like the one from the Golden lion knights.
"State your name and business intruder!"
"My name is Bahamut, and I've come to rid this country of the empire's scourge." Bahamut claimed before jogging forward (which seemed like a blur to the soldiers) and barreling through a small battalion with ease, sending them all flying into the air.
"He's with one of the rebel factions! Fire at will!" A captain shouted out. Purple blasts of energy begun to soar towards Bahamut, so he leapt up and landed on a nearby roof before leaping over to another roof just above another battalion of ten plus a captain. He stopped for a moment, as he moved so fast that they stopped shooting.
"Where did he go!?"
"I can't see him!"
'Are they stupid?'
'Don't stop moving! Shock and awe is key when dealing with large groups of enemies. For as long as you stop to catch your breath, so do they. Don't give them any time to think, especially when you don't have to think much to win this!'
Without further hesitation, Bahamut dropped down behind another battalion. The captain saw him, and he swung a large axe down on Bahamut. Bahamut caught the large axe with his hand, and the ground beneath him cracked upon feeling the force of the captains swing.
"What!? That's impossi-" The captain began to say before Bahamut clenched his hand and bent the blade of the axe.
'Decent intimidation. Now finish it.'
Bahamut yanked his arm back, pulling the axe and the captain towards him before kicking the captain in the chest and sending him flying through his battalion and the town square ahead. The captain crashed into a nearby house, and that shattered windows and also broke the wall. Bahamut thought of the home he just destroyed, and the families life he just made harder. As he was thinking, a few guards came around the corner and all charged at him with their spears raised high.
'Now is not the time for sentimentality.'
Bahamut placed one foot ahead of himself, and looked forward.
'Now is the time for action.'
The stone cracked underneath his foot, and two more captains appeared from behind the battalion racing towards him.
'Show them, why you, are the dragon king.'
Bahamut pushed off the ground.
The guards barely knew what happened, they heard no sound at first. Then, a shockwave loud enough to shatter glass rang through their ears. As they began regaining their bearings, they all realized something.
They were all in the air, Above the town, and Bahamut had somehow destroyed most of the town square, the cobblestone road was in pieces and windows were shattered, before vanishing into thin air. They didn't think much more, as they all fell back to the Earth and were knocked out, and given serious brain damage.
Meanwhile, Bahamut was having a Barry moment.
'I WENT WAY TOO FAST! HOLY FUCK!'
'I'd say this was surprising, but I've come to expect this sort of thing.'
Bahamut flew through the air, really just a few meters off the ground but just high enough that his feet couldn't touch the ground. He was also moving so fast that he wasn't coming down anytime soon. He decided to angle himself downwards, and his feet finally touched the ground. His feet tore through the ground like it was made of paper, and he finally slowed to a halt before swinging around and looking back towards the town.
The town was almost over the horizon. So Bahamut leapt into the air, controlled, and looked down onto the town. The town square was downright destroyed, and the guards were in complete disarray. He smiled at his handiwork, and looked towards the military base.
'This will be easy.' Bahamut thought.
Captain Boeck couldn't believe what had just happened. He was simply stationed to the nearest village, it was supposed to be easy. Enforce magic rules, make sure everyone has appropriate I.D at all times and make sure no Rogue mages were running about. Then this Bahamut guy shows up and takes out the entire force stationed in the village like it was child's play.
Boeck coughed up blood, he got hit hard earlier. To think he thought attacking Bahamut with an axe would work, he knew better after that fight. Slowly, Boeck reached into his pocket and pulled out a communication lacrima. The lacrima flashed twice, and someone picked up.
"Who is using the emergency channel? This had better be worth hearing about, I'm almost finished counting my pay for this month." A male voice responded.
"General Greed! We've just been defeated by a powerful mage that goes by the name of Bahamut! He claims to be an enemy of the Empire (cough!)"
"Oh really? Well then, what is his appearance?" Greed asked politely.
"He has long blue hair, blue tribalistic tattoos over his body, a golden ring around his arm, and is wearing a large black cloak!"
The captain flinched when he heard an unidentifiable noise on the other end of the lacrima.
"Captain?"
"Yes general?"
"Are you stupid?"
"Uh, I would like to think not."
"Well you'd be wrong, because we all received an update roughly four minutes ago regarding an intruder that defeated the Golden lion knights earlier. Apparently, you were too preoccupied to check it, am I right?"
"S-sir?"
"That man's name I'm afraid, is not Bahamut at all, no, he lied to you. He kept his name to himself, his name was Acnologia."
The captain nearly pissed himself after hearing that. The lacrima cracked, and it turned a sickly green colour before exploding in front of the captains eyes. A green mist poured from the remains of the lacrima, and the Captain began to choke horribly, his eyes rolled into the back of his head, and his veins bulged to the point where they looked like they were going to burst before he passed out due to suffocation. The gas dissipated the moment he passed out.
At the base, various guards dressed in dark silver armour with the symbol of Seven on their chest plates patrolled the walls. There were snipers in the watchtowers, and barbed wire on the top of the walls. The gate was made of solid titanium, and it looked more like a prison than a military base. However, if you looked at it closely enough, you would see it was more built to keep things out of it, not keep people from leaving.
Some of these men looked different from the usual soldiers though, they came in various shapes, sizes and colours. All of them had the symbol of Seven tattooed somewhere on their body, these were legal wizards under the jurisdiction of the Great Father. In the center of the base, was a massive tower-like structure with a pointed roof.
A floating, glowing-blue crystal suddenly flashed red and turned towards the Western wall. Its light shined down on a man, a lone man with long-blue hair, a single visible arm, and blue markings all over his body. This man walked up to the walls of the camp without a hint of fear shown upon his face. The light the crystal shone down intensified as he got too close, and the sound of an alarm rang through the camp.
The general, who had just finished talking to one of his incompetent capatins, looked at his security lacrima curiously through the green mist that plagued his room. His eyes widened as he recognized the menacing figure walking up to his base. He slammed down a lever on his desk and spoke.
"Ladies and gentlemen of the Greed division. We have an intruder at our gates, attack to kill, he is an illegal mage in cahoots with one of the rebellion factions. He is powerful, do not underestimate his skill at any cost. Or you, will, die. This is no ordinary mage, he is Acnologia reborn!" Greed said.. Soldiers ran to grab their weapons, and the mages began to release their magic power in a display of strength. Allowing their magic to flow off their bodies in waves, creating an aura of wispy magic that could be felt around for miles. Yet even with all that power, some soldiers shook in fear, The hold on their weapons faltered, and even the all powerful mages were sweating nervously in anticipation.
"Can you feel that power?" One of them asked.
"It's unfathomable."
The threat walked up to the gate, and without a moment of hesitation, he reared his foot back, and kicked the massive doors so hard that they were torn from their locks and they smashed into the stone walls beside them and were torn from their gigantic hinges. He looked at the massive force in front of him and smiled.
"Which one of you fools wants to take on the reborn dragon king today?" Bahamut asked.
Rogue panted as he ran towards the Sabertooth guild hall, as his magic power had been exhausted some time ago from constantly sustaining his dragon form. He burst through the doors, and nearly fell over from exhaustion. When Rogue looked up, he couldn't believe how empty the building he called home was.
He shook his head in frustration and ran towards Sting's office, where the most powerful communication lacrima was. After rummaging through Sting's dirty and unorganized office for a bit of time, he finally found the sacred blue orb he had been searching for and poured all of the remaining magic power he had into it. The orb flashed twice, and somewhere in the continent of Giltena, a certain Requip mage felt her lacrima going off.
"That's odd, I wonder who could be calling?" Erza wondered out loud. Team Natsu had just met Lord Water God and learned of his shockingly kind ways of living. They were in his palace, and he was about to finish his explanation of how he cared for the people/fish of Erminia. Erza looked to him for permission, and he nodded kindly to let her. She pulled the lacrima out of her Requip space and held it in front of her to see none other than a rather tired and beaten up looking Rogue staring back at her.
"Rogue? Why are you calling us? Has something happened?" Erza asked. The rest of team Natsu leaned in as well.
"Erza! Thank god you picked up! Fairy Tail has fallen! Someone called the White mage took over their minds and now they do everything she says! She took over Jura and Hyberion too! There's...yeah...you weren't here to see him either."
"What!?" Lucy said in shock. Mercuphobia's eyes widened as well as he recognized the name "White Mage".
"Fairy Tail's being mind-controlled by someone!?" Natsu exclaimed.
"...Quiet everyone! It looks like there's more to this story!" Erza yelled.
"I can't believe I have to be the one to tell you guys, but, ACNOLOGIA IS ALIVE! HE'S IN SEVEN RIGHT NOW! THE WHITE MAGE WANTS HIS POWER FOR HERSELF BUT HE CAN CONTROL TIME NOW TOO SOMEHOW! WE NEED YOU GUYS TO COME BACK AND HELP US ASAP!"
The silence was all that greeted Rogue after he said it. Erza nearly dropped her lacrima, Natsu just stared at the ground and began to quiver. Lucy's mouth was hung agape in shock, Happy looked like he was ready to cry, and Gray was just as shocked as everyone else.
"So...the one who Ignia was attracted to, was Acnologia sire!?" Caramille asked.
"It...it appears so. I never thought he would come back. How could this happen!? First she steals my power, and now she's trying to take the Dragon kings power as well? The situation is even worse than I thought. Perhaps that's why Diabolos has been rather quiet lately."
"Wait, what did you just say?" Lucy asked.
"I sensed Acnologia's presence some time ago, I believe all the god dragons did, but I didn't know who it was at the time. Another one of the God dragons, whom I believe to be none other than Ignia, the fire dragon god, sensed him as well, and left Giltena to find him."
"A fire dragon? His name sounds like Igneel." Natsu muttered, still in shock at the fact that he somehow failed to kill the bastard that took his father away from him.
"Ignia is the blood-son of Igneel. He is a power-crazy dragon and likes to destroy entire countries for his own amusement. He should already be in Fiore as we speak." Mercuphobia explained.
"I-Igneel had a son!? A real one!? What about the mother?"
"Father dragons don't take care of their young, only the mothers do, it is a normal thing for Ignia to have never met Igneel. I see you wish to leave Giltena, I would recommend against that, if both Ignia, the White mage, and Acnologia are in your homeland, nothing will remain from that battle once the three of them meet face to face."
Natsu slammed his fist down into the floor of Mercuphobia's temple, veins were popping from his forehead, and flames were flicking off his skin.
"I don't care who it is! Dragon, god or demon! Even Acnologia! If someone threatens my family, I'll burn away anything to keep them safe!" Natsu screamed out, yet he didn't seem nearly as confident as he normally did to the others. Mercuphobia looked down at the fire dragon slayer, and sighed, he knew he wouldn't be able to convince him otherwise.
"Fine then, I have a way for you three to cross the sea quickly then. If you ride some of my servants, they'll be able to find the right ocean currents and take you all the way back to Fiore in no time at all." Mercuphobia explained. With a snap of his fingers, the hall was filled with water, and they were all sitting in an air bubble. They floated out of the hall and into the open ocean, where a couple, massive sea serpents arose from the depths to greet them.
"You should all still be under the effect of Elminia's potion. Now go, I know you need to. I must inform you, that the White mage...stole my power away some time ago, if you find her, be careful. She can steal away anyone's magic power and control it as she sees fit." Mercuphobia said. Natsu looked at him, and nodded his head.
"Thanks. You're a pretty good guy y' know." Natsu said.
"We won't forget all you did for us, Lord water god," Lucy added. Without a second thought, they all hopped onto the sea serpents and rode away on them. Mercuphobia looked on as they swam off.
"That was Igneel's heir, wasn't it? Hmph, funny how things work out like that." Mercuphobia muttered to himself.
Roughly two hours later
Team Natsu was flung out of the water by the servants of Mercuphobia, who had for some odd reason skipped the Northern half of Fiore and swam down to the southern shore instead almost as if they were avoiding something. Team Natsu landed on the port of Hargeon and were all stunned into silence.
Hargeon was a burnt up wasteland, with some embers still flying about. There wasn't a single house left untouched, Hargeon had been reduced to embers. Natsu grits his teeth in anger, and he banged his fists together.
"I bet this was Ignia. Let's go find the bastard who did this to Hargeon!" Natsu yelled out. A black and yellow flame shot out of Natsu's hand briefly, and Gray flinched at the sight of it.
'That can't be it, I thought E.N.D died with Zeref!' Gray thought to himself. He didn't have much more time to think about it, as Natsu led the charge out of Hargeon with everyone close behind him.
Touka smiled to herself, as both she and her assembled army of wizards finally made it to the border between Hargeon and Seven.
"Erik dear? Can you hear anything?"
"I wouldn't be able to hear Acnologia if that's what you're thinking. I've never been able to hear his inner voice."
"Anything useful?"
"...I think some people are screaming up North a bit, and some explosions. It's really faint though, it must be more than a hundred kilometres away."
"I see. Jellal, Laxus, Racer? Scout ahead of us and report back if you see anything out of the ordinary."
"As you wish." All three of them responded. Racer blurred out of view, and both Laxus and Jellal engulfed themselves in yellow magic before taking off into the sky.
'Soon you will be mine, Acnologia. Time powers or not, I will find a way.'
Only about a mile behind the group, a massive, fiery red dragon tore through the clouds in a blaze of fire that set the ground far beneath him ablaze. Animals fled in fear of the massive fire's coming from the mountains below the wings of the great, red dragon.
"My time is near, challenger, prepare yourself! For soon you will be nothing more than ashes underneath my talons!" Ignia roared.
The general of Greed sat utterly defeated in his chambers, his base was in complete tatters. His primordial disease had no effect on the man, no, the monster that stood before him. It had only taken two hours because Acnologia had relished every moment to the brink. The base was nothing more than a massive ruin, the ground around them was cracked and barren, and many of his soldiers had lost their lives. Not due to Acnologia, but due to him.
"I will defeat you at any cost Black Dragon! Even if it means the lives of my own men!" Greed exclaimed before releasing his primordial disease. Yellow gas expelled from his body and quickly overtook the entire camp. His men started going crazy, tearing at their own eyeballs and attacking anything in sight. Others simply suffocated, and some even just fell dead the instant they inhaled the sudden gas cloud.
The one it was meant to affect, the worst being in existence, stood unaffected.
"You can't beat a slayer with his own element," Acnologia said to him. That made no sense to him, Acnologia was not the dragon of disease!
"I am the arcane time dragon reborn! You sacrificed these men and women for no fucking reason other then to annoy me! Now, I will show you true power! I am no longer Acnologia, I am Bahamut! The new dragon king!" Bahamut yelled. Then, in a display of pure might, Bahamut let out a roar so intense that it blew away all the gas that Greed had expelled onto his own comrades, and the sound wave actually tore through the base and hit him dead on. Greed was hit by the sheer force of his voice, and blown away. His jaw had cracked from the sheer pressure, and his body was sent hurtling through the air.
"How could he have bested me, a general of the Great Father, with nothing but his own voice?" Greed wondered out loud before falling to the ground.
The Fairy Tail guild hall was being crowded around as people looked on the wreckage. It was unexplainable, the guildhall had randomly crumbled to the ground without warning. As far as anyone knew, no mage was even near the hall at all when it fell. The erosion didn't stop either, the plants around the hall withered away, the water in the pool had evaporated, and any bird that came too close to the black mist that surrounded the hall died mysteriously.
"What do we do!?"
"I don't know. The guild hall is destroyed almost fucking weekly, who does Fairy Tail normally call?"
"No one can get close to that Black mist though, who is anyone supposed to fix it?"
"Do telekinesis construction workers not exist!? Fuck why do we not have that in a world full of telekinesis users! Even titania can do it amazingly, and she's a Requip mage somehow!"
None of them noticed the head of black hair amidst the eroding rubble.
