Chapter 4 - War On The Horizon

(Celestine's Tower)

"Wait so you and Olga-san are at war, simply because forces on both sides killed important loved ones from either side, among other atrocities being murder, killing, rape, enslavement and all of the above?!" Naruto bit his tongue restraining himself from downright shouting at the elvish incarnation of Kami. Celestine flinched at the way he worded everything, Alicia grimaced, as did Prim and Ruu Ruu, the knights frowned at the youth basically slapping both sides problems in their faces.

"Uzumaki-san there is simply no ot-" The redhead's eyes narrowed silently with the creeping sea of red on the edges of his vision making the guards tense, hands drifting to their swords. "No other way...is it? that's because neither of you have even thought of finding a solution all the while ignoring forces that are more then likely waiting for you two to wear each other out before pouncing!" Naruto blinked holding his right eye wondering where that came from.

'What is truth!? a promise kept?! words said to the mass's by a leader of a village?! a politician answering the cries of the weak, downtrodden and enslaved. You know what i think?! i think the truth is simply tearing away all the layers, exposing what a person truly feels!' Naruto winced as his sharingan slowly came to life swirling into a jagged six pointed shuriken star, a black background and a red symbol. 'This is Shinjitsu No Me!'Gazing upon Celestine Naruto gasped at the visions assaulting his brain.

'W-what is this?! why can't i turn this off!?' The insidious laughter, the images of Celestine being used by this, this Volt! it was disgusting!

'No Naruto! you must see this! it's time to stop being that light champion, fixing everything peacefully! nothing cannot be comprehended by those eyes of yours! now experience TRUTH!' He could practically taste and feel the emotions and feelings from these visions, on his tongue and skin, this was just torture!

'You know what you have to do King...Stop being your lighthearted self and return to that icy ruthless person i respected!' The visions finally stopped as Naruto fell to his knees with a crash. "Demons...Goblins...Hell beings, Volt, Black Dogs...they're all waiting..." Naruto felt his face as a coppery liquid dripped from his sharingan, tears of blood making everyone gasp in concern and shock. "Such depravity...Cele-chan, Ruu-Ruu-hime, Prim, Kyuu-chan, everyone..." He felt as if he was going to go into shock as his heart pounded loudly in his ears as he held his head, red chakra leaked out of the frost prison around his heart.

He was upset...

No not upset he was angry, furious, enraged!

He wanted to drop everything and go kill!

"NGHhhhhh!" His teeth elongated as he clamped them together trying to restrain his emotions, as Naruto breathed heavily and sharply. Killing these monsters would make it all go away, spilling a river of red would make the pain from the scars go away for now, 'Shit it's happening again!' He looked up at Celestine and clamped his eyes shut. 'I-i'm not weak i have to be strong, c'mon Uzumaki on your feet!' With a shaky effort he slowly pushed himself up even though his heart felt like it was going to break from the sudden stress.

Celestine gulped seeing him sigh and wipe his eyes with the back of his hands, that armor of his fading to reveal a chainmail and leather uniform with a black cloak on his form, (Picture Geralt's outfit from The Witcher.) "...I decided Celestine...you and Discordia are going to meet, you both will cease this dumb feud and resolve to correct both your mistakes." When others tried to protest this he gave them tired yet slightly angered look. "Do not try and take the high ground, you all know your kinds are not the only beings in this realm, so drop the damn act and work together! or would you like to eventually fall prey to a sharp betrayal from the Black Dogs you hired?! Tell me right now if possibly being subjected to this is worth you or Olga destroying each other over?!" His hands suddenly shot chakra strings to the princess's and Celestine, the images playing before their minds, Alicia, Prim and Claudia having tears in their eyes at who betrayed them. 'The minister! that rotten snake!' Alicia raged in anger and disgust at the man throwing in his lot without shame with Volt!

Claudia was distraught, now she knew the truth of who killed her beloved! her own blood nontheless?! 'F-father why?! is your own lusy of me really all you care about.' Celestine's head bowed as shame filled her very being. 'I-i have condemned us all, w-why was i so blind?!' Naruto wanted to apologize and comfort them, but this wasn't the time for soothing their ruffled feathers. 'if they can't learn from their mistakes, they'll never learn...' The cynical cool voice reminded him and Naruto nodded quietly to himself, running his hands through his hair. 'You are not weak, we are not weak, this Volt and his army will be never before us if we take just that right step, we'll show him what true power is all about!' The eagerness to commit murder, death, and slaying was strong in his mind. 'We'll get them in time...but for now the city and the innocent inhabitants come first...understood kyouki (Insanity)" The feminine eager giggle vibrated in his mindscape before disappearing.

'...I really am insane...i just havent accepted it yet...' He frowned wanting to blame the villagers, hell almost everyone but he couldn't blame his mate, nor his parents as for Sarutobi Jiji.

He gritted his teeth bitterly he should've tried harder, the old kage could've brought the council to a heel but no he had to give the three councils equal power!

Eager to fan the flames of smiting these monsters, Amelia the second-in command of the sword-mage sect, was a much more amazonian robust figure with a very voluptuous dark caramel colored skin color, pink eyes and dark gold hair tied into a complicated braid with a slight x shaped scar under her left eyelid, wielding a sword-staff, she spoke. "Lord Naruto what should we do, i can tell you have an almost fanatical hatred of smiting such scum, so why don't we work together and make sure THAT doesn't happen." Naruto looked at her silently thinking about it. 'hmm with my shadow clones, i could appoint a blood clone with each group to join with these warrioress's and cover a lot more ground if the behavior of this mercenary group is to be spot on, they'll try to commit these acts out of sight so everyone thinks their the honorable straight types...' He thought this over and nodded smiling. "I agree, but first we must work on burying the hatchet between Olga and Lady Celestine's forces, as much as you all don't like it, you all will be picked off one by one should Volt and his army actually take Olga's castle, as much as you hate her Celestine, no woman deserves that fate especially to a chauvinist pig like him." Celestine sighed at the sound logic that overridden her own thoughts on the matter, for a few moments the elven beauty thought over the whisker marked warriors words before nodding. "Ok...as much as the cold part of me wants to argue...we can't afford to be divided but it will be a long time before we can even feel complete untainted trust with one another...i hope you understand Paladin..." The redhead nodded rubbing his chin looking to the others.

"It's understandable i am not demanding you make peace it is merely a suggestion...i don't see myself as invincible, i'd have been killed years ago if i allowed such a poison to change me to something i hate..." He looked at the map of the continent frowning looking at the marked towns and territories. "Milady have the other Paladins fortify Lady Alicia's castle, spread them evenly through each warrior princess's kingdom, knowing demons like imps, goblins and such they'll be using poisons to subdue the women, we need to make sure we have all our bases covered...i do not wish for any of our warriors to fall..." He unsealed what looked like a fox mask with a white porcelain color, and changed to some stealth clothing so he could move more quietly, Celeste and the other princesses swallowed thickly seeing the muscles and build the teen had through the uniform. 'Such sculpted muscles, definitely not just an aggressive diplomat with words but clearly a warrior...a scarred warrior i wonder if h- no bad Celestine!' "Would it be possible for you to give combat instruction to our recruits Sir Naruto...?" Blinking at Prim's question he looked at her, despite not looking to be a warrior he knew not to let such an appearance distract his mind despite his teen hormones disagreeing. "I do not see why not but i do believe certain targets must be silenced to blind Volt's campaign, my clone will take the place of whatever important figure is taken out and feed false information about our defenses and movements...as for the training i do believe i have the time to implement the usage of a special sealing art project i had hoped to keep a secret for now, but it will be used this time for a good cause since we have at most a month before Volt hears of Eostia's 'trouble' with Olga's kingdom, but by then we'll have our trap ready for his army..." Naruto smirked rather evilly which was shared with Ruu Ruu and Alicia.

Celestine however decided to...'Push' things along and speak up. "Um Naruto would you mind if you and your clones do bodyguard work for the princesses and I, we frankly feel extra security will do us better then waiting for the plan to happen." She was being truthful since she felt it would be safer for when Volt would approach her with the offer to take care of Olga's kingdom.

Naruto raised an eyebrow and nodded slowly, he was going to suggest that so he could have a reason to be in public with the princess's. "I can do that, i should be able to reinforce my clones to last for a month at best, give me a few mins or so and i'll be ready." Maia smiled rather pervertedly on the inside making plans to seduce the redhaired stud if only to be his bitch instead of Volt's, her faith in her savior from those years ago was cracked and shattered solely.

'I may not be able to deal with you myself but when you learn neither of us will be yours, i'll relish that look of anger and shock and betrayal on your face before your head comes off!' The pink haired merc woman growled inwardly but didnt let such anger show on her face, the Sword-Mage sect smiled at the redheads back they saw him as a worthy man now Oaths be damned.

With several poofs of smoke Charged Shadow Clones numbering to a group of 12 stood before him looking to their creator to await orders. "You know your orders, so don't forget." He had an amused smirk behind his Fox mask seeing different beast esque masks on his charged shadow clones, these clones had much of his durability, power and mind so them being able to handle more assassins or any of Volts spies would be a cake walk.

"Amazing...such a rare form of magic..." Naruto and his clones shared looks behind their mask amused, they supposed to foreign worlds Chakra could be considered an advanced form of magic. 'Best keep the rest of my abilities close to my chest, can never be too careful.' The clones moved with their numbers to each princess in pairs ready to do what their master made them for.

"We will leave one by one with our guards to return to our own places of staying to talk with our soldiers and prepare them, may the Enlightened watch over you all." Celestine bowed smiling and left with Kemono and Komodo. "We're gonna fuck Volt's plans up! i can't wait!" Sparrow and Tora chuckled under their masks at Ruu-Ruu's excited words.

Many raised eyebrows murmuring to one another seeing the cloaked men standing with the princesses, all of them wearing quite the ominous beast like masks, with the head seeming to be the one with the Fox mask based on how he was standing beside Lady Celestine. A glasses wearing male with brown hair pushed his the specs up while observing this, his beady black eyes looking at the princesses with disguised desire but he had to remember his mission, lest Volt-sama be displeased with him again.

Naruto(Fox) however noticed the sickening pheromones coming from the young youth due to his unique sense of smell and made a hidden hand sign to where his clones saw and they nodded in sync before continuing their trek to the carriages, as Celestine seemingly being relaxed with the cloak wearing men seemed to put her subjects at ease.

'Brown hair, looks quite greased probably from fumes of an apothecary room, beady black eyes quite squinty too, looks suspicious as hell, make more clones and keep an eye on him, if you find any evidence interrogate him thoroughly.' Fox growled in Yoko-Tongue, due to Kyuubi teaching him most of his life teaching him how to speak in ancient yoko was one of his lessons amongst other demon and supernatural languages.

'No problem Leader, we won't allow what's meant to happen come to pass.' Kemono grunted looking around and entered the carriage along with Komodo as did Ruu-Ruu, Fox left with Celestine, Phoenix, and Genbu stepped in with Prim, Sparrow and Taka stayed with Claudia. Seiryu and Byakko went with Alicia for which she was grateful for, she hoped to actually be able to train the priestess's into real warriors with the Sword-Mage Sects help. Behemoth, Hebi and Kuma left with Maia, Kaguya and the remaining Miko's for their temple.

The Minister watched this all with his beady eyes, confused and a bit suspicious he returned to his luxurious office wondering where did these odd foreigners come from, could they be bought? could they be swayed over to his masters way of thinking, so many questions ran through the elderly ministers mind as he decided to wait for Volt's plan to come into play and reveal his true colors, ah yes Alicia would be screaming in ecstasy and pleasure once he broke her in, such thoughts had him hard already and decided to leave and go acquire a whore in the next town a single carriage ride away, as he plotted and schemed he never saw a trio of ravens observing him stoically from the rooftop, one went inside as the man locked his doors and got in through the window, the second followed the man while the last one continued to watch the apothecary assistant.

'Who will die first...this shall be interesting to see.' The raven thought although it harbored a suspicion that Master would deal with the Minister first since he'd be suspicious and bolt if the glasses wearing youth went silent.

Before a dark smile crossed his lips and hundreds of poofs of smoke erupted in the alleyways, revealing Fox's clones unsheathing blades of their own. "Young one you have nothing to fear, everyone that has been enslaved to this place is free to leave and return to Celestine or Lady Olga's care..." Her eyes welled up with tears and hugged the assassin who only rubbed the girls hair soothingly as she cried. "Thank You! Thank You Fox-San!" He only smiled wider. "Just call me Maelstrom little one now go, my men will escort you home." She nodded and bowed in gratitude following his directions, as soon as she was out of sight his smile turned into a grim frown.

"Uhhhh..." The minister moaned in pain trying get off his back only to freeze in terror upon meeting a pair of red eyes with odd bead like symbols spinning around the pupil. "I-i can pay you...?" In response the assassin pulled a serrated looking kukri. "Now then let's have a little talk pig, do squeal all you want, this will be pure ambrosia to my ears to hear scum like you spill their guts..." He stabbed through the mans hand nearly to the hilt and into the floor.

Many were surprised to say the least, at seeing so many missing dark elves returning to them tears in they're eyes, Cloe at first was outraged soon wore an expression of utter shock and disbelief at what has happened and many could see the burning city of lucretia, it's mocking existence burning slowly. Many in their room watched in awe, amazement and shock at seeing that brothel port of a city up in flames and many were cheering loudly and happy, their relatives and loved ones were returning to them after so long! "Ara, ara~" Prim smiled with a faint blush, a hand on her cheek, the others seem to exhibit almost the same expression, Celestine and Kaguya most of all.

"He is a true warrior with a heart of gold...he has our sects support." Kaguya spoke softly fiddling with the necklace around her neck, her suspicion about his true character was finally put to rest much to her relief. Not to mention a far more suppressed part of the miko was pleased, there was somethng about this man that drew her in, she was always the sharp one and spotted an abused one when she saw it, perhaps his violent emotion could only be from the fact that he still had his own demons to face, but was willing to put them on hold.

"He could've simply not helped us..." The others looked out the window with thoughtful frowns, Celestine however smiled softly. "But he decided to, he could've left us to our fates but he didnt, that shows that he still cherishes that of the innocent...i do wonder what he will ask for as a reward..." Prim smiled softly shaking her head, she knew the man would never demand something of them, she could see he was not someone to demand a reward, nor was he one to accept heaps of praise a shy shadow if one thought about it.

"So what do we do for a reward?" Alicia finally spoke getting her fellow warrior princess's attention. Seeing she had the floor she spoke up clearly, "The man finally did something we had been wanting to do for a long time but would've brought down alot of heat on our kingdoms for genociding a productive relaxation 'resort'" The blonde sneered at the word 'resort' that those noble bastards said all the while looking smug about the coining term, they were lucky they had too much to lose otherwise she would've ran everyone of them through with a blade.

"...Well..." Celestine was at a loss on how to reward him, giving him a title and position wouldn't really fit his good deed well. They discussed multiple options without wanting to offend the young man with any cheap reward.

'Kit you should really think about taking a bath, it's been a week already since you've been hunting and killing.' The voice of his main lover Kyu made him smile under his hood but taking a whiff of himself he grimaced with a pained groan. 'Yeah you're right i just didn't think i'd be into my job so much i was ignoring the smell of old goblin, demon and human blood on my cloak.' Kyu giggled at her lovers ability to ignore most things that many would puke at smelling.

Lighting an explosive seal, Naruto flicked it over his shoulder as he walked out of the nest and behind him a red-orange conflagration erupted collapsing the entire nest in on itself, including destroying the bodies.

"Another nest taken care of, some may consider what i'm doing cruel and harsh but i'd like to believe this is nothing more then pest control." The redhead jinchuuriki dusted his hands off casually walking back to the town but stopped as the world turned grey/blue and black making Kyu snarl violently her hackles raising. 'Kyu-chan what is going on?!' He got his answer when he backflipped onto a tree as an ice blue like scythe carved into the dirt, in the hands of a fleshly skeletal creature wearing a black ragged cloak with two ice colored orbs for eyes snarling at the young man.

'Fucking Dimension Wraiths, these bastards always come out whenever something manages to deviate a timeline from its 'perfect' conclusion, these disgusting vermin try to govern every dimension like its their job to make things in worlds like these occur as they are, to keep mortal humble as they believe, unlucky for them you have several of their weaknesses at your disposal, chakra techniques, your black flames and your mother's Chakra Chains, i have a reason to believe these assholes were the ones who caused the seals at Uzu to fall in your parallel world kit!' His expression dropping into a a cold icy rage, he unsheathed his mother's blade, a crimson colored nodachi with a branching flower design along the metal towards the tip.

The Aka Shi Hana

"Wretched human you will regret not staying on the course planned out for you!" One of them roared in its screeching guttural voice, four others joining him, but the humans lack of fear made them aware this one was different.

"Words are to not be wasted on soon to be dead abominations...LET'S ROCK!" He launched himself with a twirl his anbu styled cloak flaring around him as his sword was raised as the wraiths did.

Unknown to him, another chain to his fate was chinked away...

Crimson - Man what a chapter, sorry it took so long guys, had alot of stuff going on in life and all that, but everythings back on track atleast :D now aside from my great and lovely friend KaedeSenju who helped me with most of it, the one who honestly i met on discord helped me really look over what i type and all that is a recent friend Ryuko Nakamura, i do plan to have a nice surprise for her in a later chapter, but what that is, only time and chapters will tell!
