Santana wore a big smirk as she walked out of the office. Make friends. Brett words rang in her ears. She walked over to Tina's desk and sat down next to her.
"When's your break?" Santana asked Tina. Tina looked at Santana.
"Well in 15 minutes. Why?" Tina asks.
"Because Brett told me to make friends, and I like you." Tina laughs and nods her head.
"Well my breaks soon, and I could bring some of my friends so you could meet them." Santana nods and heads to Quinn's office. She falls into Quinn's chair and it very comfy. Her phone rings and she reaches into her pocket. It's Kurt.
"Hey Hummel."
"Oh my god oh my god. Santana." Kurt says his voice hitting high notes that Santana never thought possible.
"Kurt deep breath. If you get any higher only dogs could understand you." She hears Kurt take a few deep breaths.
"Okay so Blaine took me out for lunch and, you know how today is our anniversary. And he was so excited that he decide to propose to me before his big dinner." Santana couldn't help but smile at this.
"It's about time Anderson made his final move. When's the wedding?" Santana ask as Kurt just sighed in joy.
"I don't know but there is so much planning, and I want you to be one of my Husband mate's. Quinn all like all be a best man, but will you?" Kurt asks.
"Of course I will. I would be an honor Kurt Elizabeth Hummel." Santana says and Tina knocks on the door.
"I got to go Kurt but I'll you tonight." Santana says.
"Bye San." Kurt says and the line goes dead and Santana stands and walks to the door. She sees Fish lips holding hands with Zizes client. Tina is standing next to a skinny Asian.
"Santana I like you to meet my husband Mike Chang. My best friend Mercedes Jones who you have already met, and her fiancé Sam Evans." Tina says and Santana steps forward and shakes there hands.
"Guys this is Quinn's replacement and a person I'm quickly growing fond of Santana Lopez." Mike steps forward and shakes her hand.
"Mercedes can I just say that girl you saw in the board room is not me. It's just Zizes was so rude to Brett." Santana says and women just laughs and nods her head.
"It' okay. And that's the reason Zizes is such a good agent. She can push people buttons, and can stand her ground. She always seems to find me great deals. It's forgotten. Besides Quinn reacted the same way when she first met her." Mercedes says and takes Sam hand.
"Come on let's go eat I'm hungry." Sam says and him and Mike walk in front and talk about video games. Tina is in the middle of Santana and Mercedes. They are talking. But Santana mind is else where like the gorgeous blonde man walking on her left side. He reading his papers as he walks. His hand occasionally bumps against her left one. Her smiles drop as he turns into his office. She can feel someone's eyes on her. Santana turns her eyes to see Mercedes eyes watching her. Tina keeps walking but Mercedes stops and grabs Santana's arm.
"Zizes wasn't joking when she called you Brett's toy was she?" Santana looks at her jaw dropped.
"I don't mean any offenses. I just want you to remember that he has a girlfriend, and I know I just met you and all. But your better then that and I don't want you to end up that sad broken girl because you fell in love with a man with a girl." Santana pulls her arm away roughly and turns to walk away.
"Santana just for your information, I'm rooting for you." Santana is stunned by those words.
"Wait, What do you mean rooting for me?" She asks and looks at the black woman.
"I mean I really like the pairing. It was the same feeling I had when Tina and Mike started to date. It was also the one I felt when me and Sam started to go out. Plus if you need help beating some sense into Brett I gladly help with that." She says as Santana cracks a smile.
"Let's go before they start to wonder where we are." Santana say and they start to walk. When they arrive. Tina is talking to a new blonde girl. And the guys were talking with Artie who Santana had met earlier.
"Santana this is Kitty. Artie girlfriend." The blond smiles and reaches out her hand for Santana to take.
"Hi I'm Santana." Kitty nods her head.
"Nice to meet you." Kitty says and smiles a smile Santana returns.
"Are you coming to eat with us?" Santana asks and Kitty shakes her head.
"No me and Artie are going out when his shift ends." Kitty says and walks over to her boyfriend.
"Food." Sam says and Santana rolls her eyes.
"Okay guppy mouth, we're going." Santana replies to his whine for food. Sam reaches for his lips and touches them. To which Mercedes is kiss them. Tina, Mike, Kitty, and Artie all laugh at her nickname for him.
"Are my lips really that big?" Sam asks Mike who just nod and pats his back.
"Sorry bro." Mike replies as they walk away.
The café and they all ordered there food.
"Mike what do you do?" Mike face lights up when they ask that question.
"Well I choreograph the numbers with Brett for the music video. And I teach dance on the side." Santana just smiles that was the most that he ever talked.
"Sam what do you do?" Sam looks up and takes a sip of his pop.
"I work behind the camera and edit. It's actually really fun." Sam says. Mercedes rubs his back affectionately.
"Santana what's your dream job?" Tina asks.
"Well in high school I used to be in a glee club. I used to be in a glee club with my cousin Rachel, my two best gay friends Kurt and Blaine, and believe it or not Quinn. I moved to New York looking for a singing job, but I never found it I guess." Santana says.
"Well why not ask Brett, to give you a record deal?" Mike says.
"I don't know I haven't sang in years. I probably suck at it." Santana says and looks down at her salad. Mercedes smiles.
"Well why don't we just see." Mercedes stands and walks over to the counter and a blond walks out.
"Santana this is April Rhodes owner of this café." Sam says.
"Well hey cutie. Mercedes over there says you want to sing. So come up on stage and sing." Santana could smell the alcohol pouring out her pores.
"Okay alright. Mercedes hit it." Santana says.
Mercedes: When I was a little girl I had a rag doll Only doll I've ever owned
Mercedes sings stepping off the stage and walking over to Sam.
Santana: Now I love you just the way I loved that rag doll But only now my love has grown
Santana stays on the stage as she begins to sway on her spot.
Mercedes: And it gets stronger, in every way
Tina pulls out her phone and start to record the two as they meet back up on stage back to back.
Santana and Mercedes: And it gets deeper, let me say
Santana steps off the stage and twirls around. Loving to finally sing again.
Mercedes: And it gets higher

Santana twirls and imagines she back in the choir room and she 16 again.

Mercedes walks back to Sam who starts to dance with her.

Mercedes laughs and sings as Sam and her sway.

She pushes off of Sam and walks back to Santana.

As soon as they finish they take a bow and hug.
"Thank you Mercedes that was amazing. I haven't felt like that since my high school days." Santana laughs.
"Oh that's so going to Brett." Tina says and that catches Santana's attention.
"What's going to Brett?" She asks stepping away from the hug to walk over to Tina. Who just smiles and as they head back to the office Santana has no idea what Brett has in plan for her and her video.
