Tutoring Chapter 22
"Oh my god this is like the best hamburger I've ever had" Jason said not even putting the hamburger back on the plate.
"Uhh….ya….www" Luke said with a mouth full of food.
Piper scrunched up her nose in disgust as Thalia smacked his arm "Seriously Luke do you not have any manners".
Luke swallowed his food "What I was just agreeing with Jason" Luke said confused.
"Dude girls don't like it when you talk with your mouth full" Percy said laughing.
"Oh right my bad, sorry babe" Luke said with a smile before leaning over to kiss her cheek.
Thalia rolled her eyes "Seriously no manners what so ever" she mumbled causing everyone to laugh and Luke to smile sheepishly.
"Do you guys really think the Stolls will be able to pull off a party at the hotel tonight?" Ananbeth asked.
"I've never known the Stolls to back down from a challenge, and if they pulled this off, they would be legends. So I know their diffidently going to try and pull off, but I'm not sure how successful their going to be" Percy said.
Jason nodded his head "Yeah but no matter what it's going to be awesome whether they fail or actually manage to throw the party. The Stolls parties are always awesome".
Percy smiled "Remember the start of school party my junior year and Nico got so drunk he did a dance for Drew with no shirt on and ended up falling off the table and breaking his wrist".
Jason and Thalia laughed "Yeah Uncle Hades grounded him for a month, and waited until the next day to scream and yell at him when he had a massive hangover" Thalia said with a large smile.
"How much trouble does Nico get in, Jason is always telling me about him getting grounded?" Piper asked.
"Nico has problems with his dad, and he likes to purposely piss him off" Percy said.
"He's done it ever since he was a baby. When we were five Nico took his dads favorite coat and drew skulls all over it. It was the first time I've ever since Uncle Hades that mad, his whole face turned red, if it wasn't so scary at the time it would have been funny" Thalia said.
"I think it's a genetic trait or something because when my dad gets really mad he does the whole red thing too, and so does Uncle Zeus, it's funny when they start starting" Percy said laughing.
"Do all of you like making your parents mad?" Annabeth asked.
"Well Percy, Nico and I do. Jason and Bianca are the golden children and will inherit the family business" Thalia said.
"But aren't you an only child Percy, who will inherit your fathers business?" Piper asked.
Percy frowned it wasn't something he really talked about much "My brother Triton will inherit it" he said looking down at his food. Annabeth could tell it wasn't something Percy liked talking about so she decided to change the topic.
"So I talked to my mom and she's thinking about letting me go to Greece with you guys over the summer" Annabeth said.
"Oh thank god that'll make this trip ten times better" Thalia said.
Percy smiled "She said you could go".
"She said she'll think about it, so it's like fifty-fifty right now" Annabeth said.
Percy wrapped his arm around her shoulders kissing her cheek "I really hope she says yes wise girl" he whispered in her ear.
Annabeth smiled turning to kiss him full on the lips "I do to" she whispered back.
"Okay seriously you're making queasy" Thalia said.
Percy just grinned "Get over it pinecone face".
Thalia narrowed her eyes "I can and will make your life a living hell kelp head".
Percy just grinned as he kept his arm around Annabeth's shoulder and listened to Jason and Luke talk about football. Jason was already getting scouted by football scouts even though he was just finishing his junior year.
"We should head back to the hotel and go in the hot tub, it sounds amazing right now" Piper said after everyone was done eating.
"That sounds like an amazing idea, we should diffidently do that" Percy said smiling.
Everyone at the table rolled their eyes "Of course it does to you Perce, you would live in water if you could" Annabeth said teasingly.
Percy just grinned "Only if you could be there as well".
Once they were back at the hotel everyone went to their respective rooms to change into swim suits and grab the towels before meeting at the elevator. Jason and Percy were the first ones ready and stood by the elevators in nothing but their swim trunks with a towel over their shoulders.
Two girls walked by from another school, one almost walked into the wall and one did run into the fake plant in the hallway. Percy and Jason just smiled at them, causing both girls to blush a deep red before quickly taking off down the hallway.
"I think our hotness is a dangerous distraction to people" Jason said laughing.
Percy laughed "God your ego just got like ten times bigger".
"You guys ready to go?" Annabeth asked as she and Piper followed by Luke and Thalia walked up to them.
"I am diffidently ready to go swimming" Percy said smiling before taking Annabeth's hand in his and getting in the elevator.
Once at the pool Percy immediately dropped his towel on a chair and dove into the water. When he came up he saw Annabeth standing on the side of the pool in her bikini. She wore a grey and white incredibly tiny bikini something Percy never thought Annabeth would wear but holy shit did she look hot.
"Like what you see seaweed brain" Annabeth said shaking Percy out of his shots.
Percy smiled swimming over to the edge "Oh I diffidently like what I see wise girl. Are you going to get in or what?" Percy asked.
"I was thinking about getting in the hot tub with Piper actually" Annabeth said.
Percy pouted as he effortlessly lifted himself out of the pool "But I want you to swim with me wise girl".
"I will but right now I want to go in the hot tub and relax" Annabeth said her eyes not leaving Percy's stomach.
Percy grinned stepping towards her "You can relax with me in the pool though".
Annabeth blinked looking up at him realizing he had a creepy grin on his face and that he was suddenly really close to her "Percy…." She started with a warning tone.
Percy's smile just widened as he reached his hand out grabbing her hips and pulling her into his body "Percy don't you dare" Annabeth said with a glare.
"Do what exactly wise girl?" Percy asked.
"You know what I'm talking about Percy" Annabeth said sternly.
Percy picked her up "Come on wise girl it won't be that bad" he said before jumping into the pool with Annabeth in his arms.
"Perseus Jackson you ass" Annabeth yelled at him as she came up from underneath the water.
Percy just smiled as he swam towards her "You know you love my ass wise girl. And you love seeing me in a swim suit all wet".
Annabeth's cheeks tinted a little pink "That has nothing to do with you throwing me in the pool".
Percy wrapped his arms around her waist pulling her into him, Annabeth wrapped her arms around his neck and her legs around his waist "You're not that mad are you wise girl?"
Annabeth rolled her eyes "No seaweed brain I'm not that mad, just annoyed".
Percy grinned at her "Good I don't like it when you're mad".
Annabeth ran her hands through his hair making it stick up "Neither do I, but I do like seeing you apologize and beg".
Percy laughed "Of course you do wise girl".
Annabeth didn't say anything as she pressed her lips to his.
"Annabeth?" A voice said causing the two to break apart.
Annabeth turned around to look behind her without letting go of Percy but the minute she saw the person, someone she hadn't seen in almost two years. Her face paled and she immediately let go of Percy "David?" she asked completely shocked.
Percy's eyes narrowed that name sounded really familiar, and he did not like the way this dude was looking at Annabeth. Or the fact that Annabeth looked like she had seen a ghost wasn't sitting well with him either.
David smiled "It's good to see you again Annabeth".
"David what are you doing here?" Annabeth said moving towards the stairs.
"My cousin was competing and I decided to come watch and visit my family for the weekend. Are you staying at this hotel as well?" David asked his eyes wondering over Annabeth's body as she walked towards him.
Annabeth nodded her head "Yeah our high school is staying here after the meet".
"Wow well I obviously got really lucky running into you again" David said moving towards her for a hug but Percy quickly got out of the pool wrapping his arm around her waist.
"Hey babe who's this?" Percy asked with a fake smile on his face.
"Oh uhh Percy this is David an old friend, David this is my boyfriend Percy" Annabeth said awkwardly.
Percy smiled putting his hand between them for David to shake "It's nice to meet you David".
David shook his hand obviously not happy with Percy breaking up their conversation "It was nice meeting you as well Percy".
"Well I'm going to join everyone in the hot tub before we go back upstairs" Percy said before kissing her on the lips "Don't be long wise girl" he said with a smile before joining everyone else in the hot tub.
"Who is that, that Annabeth's talking to?" Jason asked.
Percy clenched his fist as tightly as he could "Her old boyfriend David" he muttered out.
Thalia's eyes widened "Oh boy".
"Hey come on Perce calm down, Annabeth's into you she isn't going to do anything" Luke said trying to comfort him. Percy nodded his head as he turned around to see Annabeth and David sitting next to each other on one of the benches, which was completely fine, but it diffidently wasn't fine when David tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, and Annabeth blushed.
"I have to get out of here" Percy said getting out of the hot tub and stalking towards his towel completely ignoring Annabeth and David.
"Percy" Annabeth called. But Percy ignored her grabbing his towel and throwing the door open before stomping out.
Jason jumped out of the hot tub quickly following after his cousin as Annabeth tried to do the same but Jason stopped her "I've got this Annabeth, go back to your friend" Jason said with a hint of irritation in his voice.
"Jason…" Annabeth started to say but he had already opened the door and followed after his cousin.
Annabeth closed her eyes taking a deep breath "What's going on?" David asked coming up behind her.
Annabeth shook her head "Nothing Percy just needed to call his mom".
"Oh well, do you want to go get something to eat and catch up?" David asked.
"No I just ate, but uhh we can stay here and talk for a bit. It'd be good to catch up with David" Annabeth said with a small smile.
An hour later Percy stepped out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his waist, he had calmed down a lot since he saw Annabeth and David talking but he was still irritated with the fact that David was openly flirting with her in front of Percy. There was something about the guy that just irriated the hell out of Percy. Jason had gone to Piper's room to hang out so the fact that someone was sitting on his bed almost gave him a heart attack.
"Annabeth what are you doing in here?" Percy asked shocked and slightly embarrassed that he was only in a towel.
"I came to see that we were okay, you seemed pretty upset when you left the pool" Annabeth said ignoring that Percy was in a towel.
Percy sighed running a hand through his hair "I know I have no right to be jealous, but seeing someone from your past who I never expected to see, threw me. I don't like seeing other guys around you, and the fact that he was openly touching you and flirting with you, just didn't sit well with me".
Annabeth stood up from the bed walking towards him "That's exactly what David is, my past. You don't need to worry about David; I got over him a long time ago".
"I know Jason and my mom made that point clear to me. I'm sorry I stormed out like that" Percy said seriously sorry.
Annabeth smiled "You called your mom".
Percy shrugged sheepishly "She's like my go to person I guess you call it. Jason and Nico calm me down and my mom makes me see sense'.
Annabeth laughed "If people saw this side of you more often you wouldn't be have such a rep at school".
"Which is why we're going to keep this between us" Percy said seriously.
Annabeth wrapped her arms around his neck hugging him "You should probably get dressed the Stolls said the parties going to be in an hour".
Percy pulled back from the hug "So you aren't oblivious to the fact I'm completely naked beside my towel".
Annabeth laughed "Of course not seaweed brain I'm just really good at acting. Is it alright if I stay here until the party I don't think I want to go back to my room where Jason and Piper are alone?"
"Yeah that's fine, I'll grab some clothes and change in the bathroom. I really am sorry about earlier wise girl" Percy said before lightly kissing her.
"Don't worry about it seaweed brain, it's over with now" Annabeth said smiling at him.
Percy smiled kissing her again, before grabbing clothes from his bag and changing his clothes. Once he was dressed Percy flopped on the bed next to Annabeth, pulling her into his arms and kissing her hard on the mouth.
