Tutoring Chapter 23
Percy leaned against the wall next to Luke, watching as Annabeth, Thalia, and Piper danced in the middle of the hotel hallway. The Stolls managed to pull it off and throw a party, the coach decided to go to dinner with the other teams female head coach, giving the Stolls enough time to throw a kick ass party in the hotel hallway on their floor.
The hotel was filled with kids from other schools, including people from this town, so Percy made sure to keep an eye an on Thalia and Piper, and especially Annabeth whenever Luke or Jason were gone even for a second. Which is why when some blonde dumbass came up behind Annabeth grabbing her hips and dancing with her Percy immediately set his cup down, his eyes never leaving Annabeth's figure as she tried to wiggle out of the guys hold, but he wasn't releasing her. Big mistake.
Percy set his hand on the guys shoulder "Either you let go of her, I'll break your nose" Percy said harshly.
The guy turned around but he kept his hands on Annabeth's waist making her turn around with him. Percy could see the panic, and anger in her eyes, which only infuriated Percy more. "She's not arguing, she likes my hands on her, don't ya Blondie. So you should just back off".
"She's not enjoying it anyone can see that. Now if you don't get your hands off of my girlfriend I'm going to break your nose" Percy said through clenched teeth.
"Percy you don't have to hit him, its fine I can take care of it" Annabeth said, but her words fell on deaf ears as Percy glared at the guy.
The guy set his chin on Annabeth's shoulder making Annabeth cringe. "I warned you" Percy said as he stepped forward pulling his fist back and making contact with the guys nose. Percy could hear the crunch of bones as the guy staggered backwards, grabbing his nose.
"Shit, you broke my nose you ass whole" the guy mumbled through the blood.
Percy shook his hand out before grabbing Annabeth's hand and pulling her into him "I told you to get your hands off my girlfriend maybe next time you'll learn to listen the first time".
The guy glared at Percy letting his hands fall to his sides as he took a step towards him, Percy pushed Annabeth behind him "Percy come on let it go" Annabeth pleaded but once again it fell on deaf ears. Before the guy could even move his arm back Travis grabbed it twisting it towards the guys back as Connor stepped between him and Percy.
"I don't think so buddy, you got what you deserved. You touch another guys girl and don't listen you get punched. Now I think it's time for you to leave, we will personally escort you out" Connor said as Travis pushed him towards the exit.
"I swear I'll get you back you ass whole" the guy yelled as the Stoll's pushed him towards the elevator.
"Yeah I'd like to see you try" Percy mumbled.
"What the hell was that?" Annabeth yelled as she pushed Percy from behind making him stumble forward.
"He had his hands on you, even after I told him to back off" Percy said turning around to face with a look of confusion on her face.
"That doesn't mean you punch him, and break his nose Percy" Annabeth said.
"What was I supposed to do, I told him twice to get his hands off of you. Everyone could tell you were uncomfortable, and then he freaking put his head on you, if I didn't punch him when I did he probably would have to tried to start kissing you" Percy said starting to get angry that Annabeth didn't understand he was only defending her.
Annabeth threw her hands in the air a sign that meant she was getting really frustrated "What are you going to do break every guy's nose that touch's me?"
"If they make you uncomfortable and don't back off when their told, then yes I am" Percy said honestly.
"God I can't even talk to you right now Percy" Annabeth said turning around and pushing her way through the crowd.
"Damn it" Percy said running his hand through his hair. Turning around when he felt someone's hand on his shoulder, to see Thalia and Luke.
"Go after her kelp head, she's just not sure how to respond to a guy acting like that because of her, she's never had that happen before" Thalia said shaking her head at him.
"I just tried to explain it to her, and she didn't get it. What makes you think she'll understand it now?" Percy asked.
"If you go and talk with her calmly where complete strangers aren't watching you're every move she'll be able to think clearly and not be completely embarrassed. Just go after her dumb ass" Luke said turning Percy around and pushing him towards the area where Annabeth walked off earlier. Percy shook his head as he pushed through the crowd towards his and Jason's hotel room. He knew Annabeth would be in there since Jason and Piper went into theirs right before the fight brook out. Stopping in front of the door Percy ran his hand through his hair making it stick up even more than it already was. When Percy stepped into the room Annabeth sat with her back up against the headboard and her legs stretched out in front of her, with her hands in her lap as she looked down at the chipped finger nail polish.
"Hey" Percy said softly closing the door behind him.
"Hey" Annabeth said looking up to meet his eyes. Percy didn't say anything as he moved towards the bed, sitting down on the edge in front of her.
"I'm sorry that I upset you, that wasn't what I was trying to do. I just wanted to protect you, I didn't like that he was touching you like that. I'll admit I felt jealous and probably a little insecure or whatever but I was mostly pissed that he wasn't listening to you. If a girl says no or to stop you listen you don't keep pushing it. I just, I don't know I've never felt this protective over a girl before" Percy said looking her straight in the eye the entire time.
Annabeth just stared at him, not knowing what to say. So she did the only thing she could think of. Flinging herself at him she wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him hard on the mouth. Percy's arm immediately wrapped around her waist as he kissed her back with just as much force.
Breathing hard Annabeth pulled away slightly so she could see into his eyes "I'm sorry I over reacted I'm just not used to a guy fighting for me like that. But I'm glad that you did" Annabeth said softly.
Percy lightly pushed her bangs behind her ears "I think your changing me Annabeth Chase".
Annabeth smiled "Is that a good or bad thing?"
Percy smiled rolling them over so that Annabeth was on her back with Percy hovering over her "It's diffidently a good thing" he said before kissing her again. Annabeth's hands moved down Percy's stomach stopping at the edge of his shirt and the top of jeans. Realizing that she's seen him shirtless already and pushing aside her nerves that they were completely alone for the night Annabeth grabbed the bottom of his shirt pulling it over his arms. Percy broke the kiss so Annabeth could pull of the shirt and throw it onto the floor. Once the shirt was out of the way Percy moved to her neck, immediately finding the sensitive spot behind her ear, making Annabeth let out a small moan. As Percy kissed her neck his hands roamed down her body. One groping her thigh as the other moved underneath her shirt. It seemed that everywhere Percy touched and kissed left a tingling sensation.
Tired of fighting Annabeth's shirt Percy finally just grabbed the bottom and pulled it over her head. Holding himself up Percy's eyes looked over her nearly naked body "Your beautiful Annabeth" he said looking her straight in the eye.
Annabeth didn't say anything as she grabbed the back of his neck and pulled him down for a kiss. After some very intense kissing Percy finally pulled away breathing heavily his eyes full of lust and his lips swollen.
"We should probably stop" Percy breathed as he tried to move to the side. But Annabeth grabbed his shoulders stopping him.
"I want this Percy" Annabeth said just a breathlessly.
"Are you sure, we've both been drinking maybe we ….. I mean" Percy stuttered trying to find the right words. Percy wanted this, he was teenage boy of course he wanted this but he didn't want to pressure Annabeth, he cared about her too much to do that. And even though this made him sound like a complete girl he wanted their first time together to be a little more romantic and not the result of an argument.
Annabeth smiled setting her hand on Percy's cheek "I'm one hundred percent sure Percy. I want this, with you in this moment".
Percy searched her eyes for any fear but he didn't find any so bent his head down kissing her. "If you wanna stop at any time just tell me, I don't want to push you Annabeth" Percy said breaking the kiss.
"You're not pushing me Perce, I want this. Now shut up and kiss me" Annnabeth said grinning,
Percy laughed "Yes ma'am" he said kissing her again.
Knock….Knock….Knock
Groaning Percy opened his eyes only to see hair that diffidently wasn't his covering his face. Using the arm that wasn't under Annabeth's head Percy gently pushed her hair away. Looking down to see Annabeth soundly asleep on his chest Percy smiled. He'd never slept like this in the same bed as a girl before, he usually left in the middle of the night or told them to leave before his mom woke up. But with Annabeth he liked it, he liked her being in his arms.
Knock…Knock someone pounded on the door interrupting Percy's thoughts.
Careful not to wake Annabeth up Percy got out of the bed slipping on his boxers before sulking towards the door. Whoever was pounding on the door better have a good reason.
Percy jerked the door open to see Jason standing in the hallway with his hands in his pockets "It's about time I've been out here for like five minutes" Jason said.
"What do you want Jace, I was sleeping?" Percy asked.
"We have to check out by eleven if you want breakfast you might want to get a move in, it's already ten" Jason said.
"We can just get breakfast at the café by the high school, it'll probably be better anyways" Percy said moving to lean against the door frame, not even a bit ashamed he was standing in the doorway in nothing but his boxers.
Jason nodded his head "Your right, but if we want to check out in time you'd better start getting ready. I know you and Thalia move incredibly slow. By the way you think you could get Annabeth to wake her and Luke up. I don't feel like getting punched in the gut again for waking her up".
Percy shook his head "Annabeth's still asleep just call Thalia's phone and tell her, that way she won't hit you".
"That's actually a good idea. You do realize you're standing with the door wide open in your boxer's right?" Jason asked.
Percy shrugged "So everything good is covered up".
Jason's eyes widened as a huge grin started covering his face "You and Annabeth had sex last night" Jason stated.
"No we didn't, I always sleep in my boxers" Percy said keeping his face passive.
"No I know that look, that's your I got laid last night look" Jason said his smile getting even bigger.
"Whatever man, just go back to Piper get ready and call Thalia. We'll meet you guys in the lobby at eleven" Percy said stepping back into the room to shut the door.
Jason just laughed as he walked away. Percy rolled his eyes cursing himself that his cousin was his best friend and could read him like an open book. Percy silently climbed back into the bed hoping to get a little more sleep before checkout.
"Who was at the door?" Annabeth mumbled as she rested her head on his chest again.
"It was just Jason, reminding me that we had to checkout by eleven. We're going to breakfast at that café by the high school for breakfast" Percy said as he kissed her forehead.
"Mmhm sounds good. What time is it anyway?" Annabeth asked.
Percy turned his head to look at the alarm clock on the nightstand "10:15, which is really early. They really should make checkout time at like three or something".
Annabeth rolled her eyes moving her head so she could look up at him "Only because you wake up at one in the afternoon on the weekends, doesn't mean everyone else does".
"Thalia does to, actually Jason has to wake her up as well which we all know isn't going to be pretty even if he does it over the phone" Percy said running his hand up and down her back.
"Waking Thalia is never pretty for anyone. I should probably start getting ready so we can be on time" Annabeth said moving to get out of the bed. But Percy grabbed her waist pulling her into his lap "Percy what are you doing?" Annabeth laughed.
Percy grinned "We have plenty of time to get ready. Right now I think we should have a repeat of last night".
Annabeth smiled running her hands through his hair as they wrapped around his neck "And why should I do that?"
"Because it was the best night of your life, and I can make this the best morning of your life as well" Percy said cockily.
Annabeth laughed "So sure of yourself aren't you Jackson?"
"I always am Chase" Percy said moving to kiss her neck causing Annabeth to giggle.
