Tutoring Chapter 24
Somehow Percy and Annabeth managed to make it downstairs to the lobby before everyone else and were just in time to check out.
"I'm going to punch Jason making sure to remind us to be on time but he and Piper are late" Percy said as he sat down on one of the couches in the lobby after he had successfully checked out.
Annabeth smiled "Yeah but we still had a pretty amazing morning".
Percy smiled wrapping his arms around her waist and pulling her down to sit in his lap "Yes we most diffidently did. So I know were both going to be busy this week at school with practices and what not. But do you want to hang out on Saturday, go to dinner, go on an actual date?"
"I would love to Percy, but I can't stay out to late I'm leaving Sunday to visit UCLA and U of O remember?" Annabeth said playing with the hair on the back of his neck.
Percy frowned "Right that's this weekend; I remembered I just got the week's mixed up. Do you know when you'll hear anything about their offers?"
Annabeth shook her head "My guess is Monday or Tuesday, they both know I'm visiting the other school in the same week".
"Hey guys sorry were late coach just wanted to double check my note from my parents saying I could ride home with you guys" Piper said as she and Jason walked into the lobby.
"It's alright, have you seen Thalia or Luke?" Annabeth asked.
"Were right here, someone fell asleep in the shower and almost drowned" Luke said pointing at Thalia.
Thalia shrugged "It's not my fault Jason decided to wake me up at the ungodly hour of ten a.m." Thalia said walking over to Jason and hitting him in the arm as hard as she could "That's for waking me up".
"Oww, damn it Thalia that hurt" Jason cried holding his now sore arm.
Thalia just smirked flopping on the couch next to Percy and Annabeth while Luke went to checkout "It's what you deserve little brother".
Jason pouted mumbling things under his breath "Alright let's get going I'm starving" Luke said once he was done.
"Finally I've been dying since Jason woke us up" Percy said standing up after Annabeth. Annabeth rolled her eyes knowing perfectly well that Percy was anything but hungry this morning.
Jason just smirked "Yeah I'm sure you're hungry after your night".
Percy glared at him as everyone else gave them questioning looks and Annabeth tried not to blush.
"Whatever, Annabeth is your mom letting us use her fly miles and fly first class?" Thalia asked.
"I don't know yet, she said she'd tell me this week when I go over for dinner" Annabeth said.
"Alright I'll follow you over to the café Perce sound good?" Luke asked.
Percy nodded "Yeah sounds good to me" Percy said as he opened the trunk putting his and Annabeth's bags in.
At the café they sat at the same table they did the day before and all ordered breakfast, of course the guys all ordered double orders and somehow managed to eat all of their own food along with their girlfriend's leftovers.
"I can't believe you guys ate all that food" Piper said once they were back in Percy's car and heading back home.
"Were growing men, we need food" Jason said with a shrug.
Piper rolled her eyes "So Annabeth are you excited for you trip to UCLA and U of O?"
"Yeah I am especially since neither mine or Thalia's parents are going with us" Annabeth said.
"Dad already told me when I start visiting college's he's diffidently going with me to make sure I behave unlike Thalia" Jason said rolling his eyes.
"That's because your Zeus's precious little baby boy, the day you were born you immediately inherited Zeus' company" Percy said teasingly.
"Yeah, yeah I get, no need to rub it in my face over and over" Jason said.
Percy laughed "At least you've got Nico who's in the same boat as you".
"True. Anyways what are you gonna do when Annabeth's gone. Oh I got it we should totally have a guy's night" Jason said enthusiastically.
"What do you think babe?" Percy asked Annabeth.
Annabeth shrugged "I don't care as long as no one gets in trouble and you behave yourself I'm fine with it. Besides its only fair you know Thalia's going to drag me to college parties".
"Since when has Percy ever behaved?" Jason asked.
"Probably never, but if he knows what's good for him he will" Annabeth said.
Percy smiled "You don't have anything to worry about wise girl".
"Can we pull over I seriously need to pee" Piper said.
"Yeah plus I need a snack, we forgot to re-stock the car" Jason said.
"Alright, alright I'll pull over at the next exit" Percy said.
As Jason ran inside to get food, and Piper went to the bathroom Percy leaned against the car holding Annabeth against his chest.
"I really don't want to go home, things are getting crazy with graduation getting closer and I still don't know what college I'm going to choose. I wish we could have just stayed at the hotel for a little longer" Annabeth said.
"I wish we could do that to, I really, really do but we have to go back to reality at some point. But a couple weeks after graduation we'll be going to Crete and we'll have plenty of relaxation time together" Percy said smiling.
Annabeth sighed "Yeah but I still have to convince my mom to let me go".
"Which we will, stop stressing yourself out, and just enjoy everything that's in front of you" Percy said kissing her forehead.
"That's a lot easier said than done Perce" Annabeth said.
"Alright how about this, you relax and don't stress yourself out until Monday morning when we get to school. I'll text my mom and tell her I'm gonna hang out at Thalia's with you and Jason, and you text your dad the same thing. I know Piper and Jason will be up in his room, and who know's about Thalia, we can hang out in their theater room, and just watch movies all night" Percy said.
"That actually sounds pretty good Perce" Annabeth said pulling out of Percy's arms and pulling out her phone to text her dad, as Percy did the same thing. Seconds later Jason came back with two bags full of junk food, with Piper shaking her head at him.
"Now that Jason has enough food for a week, are we all ready to go?" Piper asked.
"Yeah oh by the way Annabeth and I are going to hang out in your theater tonight" Percy said as they all got in the car.
"Okay that's fine" Jason said as he opened one of his many bags of chips.
Percy focused on the road as Annabeth and Piper talked about competing at the state track meet and Jason fell asleep with a chip in his mouth. As Percy drove through Jason's neighborhood he made sure to hit the first speed bump as hard as he could.
Thud "What the hell?" Jason said as he rubbed his head.
Annabeth, Percy and Piper started laughing "That's what you get for falling asleep sparky?" Piper said as they pulled up in front of the house.
"You guys are so rude?" Jason pouted as he got out of the car. Grabbing Jason and Pipers bags from the car the four of them went into the overly large and very empty house.
"Thalia just text me she's going over to Luke's but she'll be home by ten" Annabeth said.
"Okay, well Pipes and I are going to be in my room, so you'll have the theater to yourself" Jason said "You two know where everything is, make yourselves at home".
"Thanks man" Percy said.
"Yeah thanks for letting us hang out here Jason" Annabeth said.
Jason shrugged "My house is your house guys, besides no one's home so it doesn't matter. Just don't stick stuff to the ceiling and pissed off Marie again".
Percy laughed "That was pretty funny she screamed at us in Spanish for an hour, I thought Nico was going to faint from holding in his laughter".
"It was funny but having a pissed off house keeper is not fun" Jason said "Just let me know when you guys leave".
"Okay have fun you two" Percy said teasingly as he and Annabeth headed towards the theater room.
"Ha ha, real funny Percy" Jason yelled.
Percy just smiled as he and Annabeth entered the theater room. Annabeth found a movie for them to both watch while Percy made some popcorn and got a soda for them to share.
"Who do you think is hotter Jennifer Lawrence or Taylor Swift?" Annabeth asked randomly as they watched the movie.
"What?" Percy asked confused, not knowing if it was some kind of trick question.
Annabeth smiled lifting her head off his shoulder to look at him "It's not a trick question seaweed brain, I just wanna see you think is hotter, Jennifer Lawrence or Taylor Swift?"
"And I'm not going to get in trouble when I answer?" Percy asked.
Annabeth shook her head "Nope, you can ask me after you answer".
"Okay well I'm diffidently gonna have to go with JLaw" Percy said smiling.
Annabeth laughed "Alright you ask me now".
"Alright Liam Hemsworth or Chris Hemsworth?" Percy asked.
"What you can't have me choose between two brothers" Annabeth said.
"Yes I can and you have to answer" Percy said smirking.
Annabeth rolled her eyes "Fine, Chris Hemsworth".
"Why exactly are we doing this? I still feel like it's some kind of trick" Percy asked.
"It's not a trick Perce, It's just a way for us to get to know each other more, kind of like twenty questions. Actually let's do that, play twenty questions. I know a lot about you but I want to know every little thing about you, especially after last night" Annabeth said.
Percy smiled "I like that idea, and I really enjoyed last night Annabeth. I've never felt this way with about a girl before, it seriously freaks me out, but I also really like it. I like what you're doing to me Annabeth Chase" Percy said seriously.
Annabeth smiled wrapping her arms around his neck "I like what you're doing to me too Percy Jackson" she said softly before kissing him.
After breaking the kiss the two of them continued playing twenty questions, soon learning every little thing about the other, and just enjoying the alone time they have together before they go back to school.
Hey Guys sorry about the long update and I know I usually don't do these but I wanted to give you guys a warning. I just started school again plus I'm working 40 hours a week, so all of my free time is spent doing homework, which means my updates will be even farther in between, which I really am sorry about.
