Tutoring Chapter 30

Three Months after the Crash

"Perseus Jackson you better be down her in five minutes, we can't be late for your graduation" Sally called up the stairs.

"I'm right here mom" Percy said coming down the stairs "I can't figure out this stupid tie" he said pulling on it in frustration.

Sally smiled "You do realize that eventually you'll have to figure this out on your own right, in three months you'll be clear across the country and I won't be able to do this for you anymore" Sally said starting to get teary eyed as she fixed Percy's tie.

Percy smiled softly "Mom please don't start crying again, you know I'll come home for every break, and I'll have Annabeth there. We both know she's ten times smarter than me and can do my ties for me" he said making Sally laugh.

Sally smiled as she straightened his tie "Annabeth is the only reason I'm comfortable letting you go all the way to California. I'm so proud of you Percy" she said.

Percy smiled as he pulled his mom into a hug "I love you mom" he said softly.

"I love you to Percy" Sally said tears breaking free and running down her face.

"Alright guys we really need to get going" Paul said coming into the room.

Percy pulled away from his mom as he kissed her cheek, following his parents out of the apartment. In the car on the way to Goode Percy couldn't help but reflect on how the past year had drastically changed from what he originally planned. At the beginning of the year Percy was still dating Rachel which now made him cringe at just the thought, and his grades were awful. But now he had a full ride swimming scholarship to UCLA, and his grades were the best they've ever been in his life. And the only person to thank for that was Annabeth, she was the reason he was actually graduating today, and most definitely the only reason he was able to secure the scholarship to UCLA.

Even though they hadn't been dating that long, Percy couldn't imagine his life without Annabeth, she was the reason why he made it through his long recovery after the wreck, and why his dreams were coming true in so many different ways. Percy was excited for their vacation to Crete in a couple weeks and then after that they'd be going to college together with Thalia and Luke right behind them, he never thought he'd be excited for college, but with Annabeth by his side he knew he could accomplish anything.

After arriving at Good Percy told his parents he'd meet with them after the ceremony and went to find his grifriend and cousins, all of which were in a small group behind the stadium stands.

"Hey guys" Percy said with a large smile, high fiving Nico, kissing both Thalia and Bianca's cheeks before wrapping his arm around Annabeth's waist and giving her a small kiss on the lips.

"Eww do you guys really have to do that in front of me" Thalia groaned.

Percy just smirked at his cousin "Now you know how I feel when you and Luke start a full on make out session in front of me" he said.

Thalia just shrugged her shoulders "What my boyfriend's freaking hot, of course I'm going to kiss at every chance I get".

"Yeah and so is my girlfriend but that doesn't mean I'm going to make out with her every chance I get in front of you" Percy said causing Annabeth, Nico and Bianca to roll their eyes, the three of them realizing a fight was about to break out.

"Okay guys calm down, it's not that big of a deal" Annabeth said giving them both a pointed look that caused them to sigh and look at their feet.

"Anyways now that world war 3 is side tracked, Annabeth are you all ready for your Valedictorian speech?" Bianca asked.

"I think so, I worked on it all night trying to make sure it was right, I'm actually pretty nervous about it" Annabeth said with a small smile.

"You'll do fine wise girl, you're the smartest most talented student Goode has ever seen, your speech is going to be amazing" Percy said confidently as he grinned at her.

Annabeth smiled reaching up to lightly peck his lips once again "Thanks Perce" she said softly.

After making gagging motions Thalia spoke up "Kelp Head's right Annie, you'll be perfect just like you always are" she said.

Annabeth glared at her "Don't call ma Annie" she said harshly.

Thalia shook her head "Yeah, yeah we've been over this a thousand times, I'm not going to stop" Thalia said before she was interrupted by their principal yelling for them to get into alphabetical order, like they had practiced earlier that morning.

Kissing Annabeth one more time Percy walked towards his spot, waiting for the ceremony to begin so that he could officially say he had graduated high school and was going to college with the love of his life, the one person who meant just as much to him as his own mother did. Walking towards his seat Percy could see his mom in the stands as tears fell down her face, Paul had a huge proud smile on his face as Percy walked past him shaking his hand, sitting next to his mother was Poseidon who also wore a huge proud smile, next to his father were his two half-brothers Triton and Tyson, who were clapping loudly and cheering for their brother.

Smiling Percy took his seat as the ceremony began, once again his mind wondered to the beautiful blonde who sat a couple rows ahead of him, and once again he couldn't picture his life without Annabeth Chase in it.

The End

I know this is short and not a very good ending but honestly I have completely run out of inspiration for this story, which is why the ending is so horrible. But anyways I hope you guys liked the story, and thank you so much to those of you who read and reviewed, it meant a lot to me!
