#RenaissanceFair

The finals of the semester were getting closer and after a week of intense training and hero work, the Titans had decided that they needed a quiet Saturday.

"Alright, we have this Saturday free from anything that could get in our way. So what would you girls like to do?" Izuku asked.

"Rock concert!" Kara and Galatea exclaimed, casting their votes.

"I'd go for a spa day, if I'm honest." Barbi said.

"I'd like to go to the observatory." Karen somewhat nervously suggested.

"Maybe we could have a picnic." Jessica suggested. "I know a great spot in the forest."

"I suggest we train if that is alright with you all." Tatsu said. "I am open to other suggestions if you have them, though."

"All of those sound like quite lovely experiences." Diana said.

"Actually, there's a fair coming this Saturday! A Renaissance Fair!" Barbara pointed out, taking out a brochure from her backpack and showing her friends. "They'll have ye olde time tales, knights, and all manner of songs of heroism!"

"A fair? In which we can dress up?! Like princesses?!" Zee asked, snatching the brochure from Barbara's hand. "We must go! I have the perfect dress for this occasion!"

"A chance to show off our more regal dresses? Color me intrigued." Barbi said, imagining what she could do.

"That could be fun." Jessica spoke up, looking over Zee's shoulder at the event's brochure.

"But I was hoping to go to the observatory." Karen said, somewhat defeated.

"But our rock concert." Kara whined.

"I am so not putting on a dumb dress." Galatea added.

"It would seem that we are at a stalemate here. We shall let democracy decide." Diana said before turning to Izuku. "Izuku, what is your position in this? What would you like to do?"

Izuku looked down in thought. He didn't want to make anyone sad, but he would have to take a vote.

"Well, I've never been to a Renaissance Fair, plus the next rock concert isn't until two weeks and we can always go to the observatory some other time." Izuku rationalized. "I think the fair will be fun."

"YAY!" Zee, Barbara, and Barbi exclaimed in happiness.

"Oh man." Kara and Galatea groaned.

"Then it is decided. To the Fair of Renaissance!" Diana claimed.

"We will need a few costumes for the fair. And I've got the perfect one in mind for you, darling~." Zee said, looking at Izuku.

"Oh, this I've got to see." Barbi added with a slight giggle.

The next morning, the Teen Titans had gathered at the entrance of the Renaissance Fair. Each of them wore a different costume to fit in at this medieval event.

Barbara wore a purple tunic that covered her to her waist, a pair of yellow pants and boots with long white sleeves, with a purple hat with a yellow feather coming out from it. She carried a lute in her hands and was humming a song, like a bard preparing herself for a spectacle.

Karen had decided to wear a short dress with yellow and black stripes, similar to the look of her usual sweater. On her back was a pair of fairy wings that matched her dress. She wore black leggings and pointy elven shoes and a crown of flowers on her head. And in her hands was a small fairy wand.

Jessica wore a much simpler outfit. She wore a plain green sleeveless dress that reached past her hips. Her skirt was short and looked like it was made of brown leaves. On top of her dress she wore a brown cloak that was tied with a leaf brooch. She had brown boots and a pair of brown gloves that reached halfway to her elbow.

Kara and Galatea were forced to dress up as well.

Kara wore a furred barbarian tank top that showed off her impressive midriff and a skirt with a belt made out of plastic bones that allowed her muscular legs to stand proud. She wore a furry cloak on her back, leather boots with forearm protectors. And on top of her head was a helmet with a pair of bull horns.

Galatea had a chainmail bikini on top of a black shirt, which hid her large breasts, but showed her toned abs. Her bottoms were a gladiatorial skirt which allowed her legs to breathe. She had a pair of gladiator sandals, a pair of leather forearm guards, and on her head was a viking helmet with wings sprouting from the sides.

"I feel ridiculous wearing this stuff." Kara groaned.

"Oh, come on my fair ladies, Kara and Galatea. These olden drapes are vital to this fantastic quest." Barbara said, picking at the strings of her lute.

"At least you don't look like a fantasy nerd's wet dream." Galatea grunted. "There's only one guy I'd ever be caught wearing this with."

"I must admit that your costumes are very impressive." Tatsu said, arriving at the entrance. "I commend your style, my friends."

The other Titans turned to see Tatsu.

She was wearing a Shrine Maiden's outfit. She had a long white shirt with loose sleeves with red thread on the ends of the sleeves, loose red pants that reached to her feet. She had white socks with a pair of shrine sandals. And on her hip was Soultaker strapped to her like the weapon of a warrior priestess.

"Wow Tatsu, you really look amazing." Barbara said with tiny stars in her eyes.

"Yeah, you look like a traditional Shrine Maiden from Japan." Jessica added. "What made you choose that one?"

"I was going with a priestess outfit to fit the Medieval fair. But the pictures I found of them made me go for this one." Tatsu replied, blushing slightly.

"I must say that you look nice, Tatsu. You'll knock our darling with ease." Barbi remarked as she arrived with Diana, Izuku, and Zee.

Barbi wore a combination of a princess' dress and a rogue's dress that showed off her body. She wore a black tight top dress with a corset that allowed her breasts to have a nice window to breath, black fingerless sleeves that reached up to her elbows, a black hood and cloak on top of her dress. A short poofy skirt on top of a pair of black leggings and high heels. And a heart-shaped eyepatch on her face.

"What are you supposed to be, Barbi?" Karen asked.

"A rogue princess. This is all meant to be fantasy after all." Barbi replied. "I am particularly interested in what Izuku is wearing."

Izuku wore a white shirt under a green vest along with a pair of green traveling pants. He also had a pair of brown boots and white gloves with a brown belt. He had a mock sword strapped to his hip. He resembled a young adventurer that had just gone out on his first adventure.

"Please, there isn't much to what I'm wearing." Izuku sheepishly said. "You girls look like you've put more effort into your costumes. You guys look better than mine."

"Nonsense, darling. You look adorable and quite handsome." Barbi said, winking at Izuku.

"Agreed. Izuku does look good in his costume. But it would be better if you added some armor to your costume, perhaps a real sword and a shield as well." Diana pointed out. "If you need to battle, you would be at a disadvantage."

"But I can handle a fight without the need of all that stuff, Diana." Izuku replied sheepishly.

Diana wore a brown and golden armor, akin to what her sisters wore, showing off her legs and arms as well as her breasts. She also wore a white cloak on top of it with a golden brooch. A simple armor and dress put together for an Amazon.

"I'm sorry Diana, but this isn't supposed to be realistic." Zee said. "This is supposed to be fun."

Zee had gone with a full on princess outfit. She wore a purple poofy dress that looked more at home in an old Disney movie. She had puffy white sleeves with golden threads that flowed in the air like a scene of a fairy tale. Her skirt was long and resembled a flower that had just bloomed. On her head was a princess tiara and on her feet were a couple of high heels for a princess.

"Now, let us go in and have some fun." Zee said, leading the way into the fairgrounds.

The Renaissance fair was a large fairground that had stands of different foods, costumes, toys, and makeshift shops that showed the blacksmithing skills of the time. It was a fun time for the family as they could explore the ways of the olden times and tales of heroism. Many people were wearing costumes, some were knights, others princesses, and others were dressed as peasants, and, oddly enough, one or two pirates. The people ran and walked around the fairground, looking for a good time.

However, amongst all these people, there was one person who was not enjoying their stay. She had red spiky hair, red eyes and was dressed like a barmaid. She had a miserable look on her face as she straightened her name tag which read, Ember.

"Damn it all. I used to be Brother Night's top enforcer, but after those damn heroes destroyed his new nightclub he fired me." Ember growled.

The magical dragon that once served Brother Night was now working in the fair as a last resort. She was not loving the situation that she was in.

"I just need to make enough money and leave this damn cheerful city. Maybe I'll be able to get my hands on some real food." Ember said, preparing a package of turkey legs.

"Hey lady!" Kara called.

"We want some turkey legs for our bellies!" Galatea added.

Ember sighed in annoyance. She turned around and wrapped a couple of turkey legs for the two blondes. She handed them the legs and waited for their payment.

"This fair might be lame and all that." Galatea said, paying for the legs.

"Yeah, but these turkey legs are really good for us barbarians!" Kara added. "Thanks a lot, Amber."

"Its Ember." Ember replied.

"Whatever, we'll see you later." Kara said.

"Keep those legs cooking, we'll be back!" Galatea added as they walked away to join their friends.

As Kara and Galatea walked away, Ember rolled her eyes at them. She was so over the fair and serving dumb tourists that just wanted to play their little medieval fantasy. As a dragon she found it a bit infuriating, just as much as the idea of being fired by her former master. She really wanted to turn into her full dragon form and give them all a reason to run away. But she needed her job to get out of the city.

"Urg, what I wouldn't give for some much needed payback." Ember said, scanning the area for anyone that she could unleash her frustrations.

Just then, her eyes landed on Zee. Ember's eyes widened as she took in the sight of the magician. She saw that Zee looked just like a princess and had not detected her just yet. A sinister smile reached both of her ears. Ember could have vengeance on those that made her life a living irony and she could get a delicious snack.

"Oh yes." Ember hissed as her forked tongue tasted the air.

Back with the Titans, Barbi and Tatsu were looking at some of the costumes that the other visitors had brought, Jessica and Karen were observing some of the performers who had been joined by Barbara, and Kara and Galatea were chomping down on their turkey legs. Meanwhile, Izuku looked around with Diana and Zee in amazement.

"Wow, this all looks fun. It isn't like other fairs with large rides or games, but it is fun." Izuku said, looking at a few visitors playing in the ball throwing games.

"It is a place of fantasy and wonder. Where fair damsels expect their prince to carry them and save them from any threat." Zee said in a song, grabbing hold of Izuku's arm. "Although, some of us wish to play along more than others." She added, looking at Diana.

Diana looked at Zee with confusion.

"What do you mean? I am wearing the traditional Amazonian princess armor." Diana replied.

"Well, that is to be expected, Zee. Diana comes from a female warrior culture with Greek roots. What would be normal for a medieval princess would be different for her." Izuku explained, being the peacekeeper of the group.

Zee seemed to have understood the situation that Diana was in. The magician of the Titans decided to not pay much mind to the situation since she was going to be able to spend the day with her darling. She really wanted to have him give her a rose or get in some battle for her honor. But that was just her own imagination.

"Alright, I think that we can get on with our day." Zee said.

"Agreed, let us find merriment in this fair." Diana added in agreement.

"Oh, let's see what else they have here." Barbi said.

"But first, we need more turkey legs!" Kara added.

"Turkey legs!" Galatea said in agreement.

The other Titans could only observe as the two blondes raced off after more turkey legs.

"I don't mean to overstep my boundaries, but where do they put all that stuff they eat?" Tatsu asked.

"I think all that food becomes muscle for those two." Jessica replied.

"If that were the case, then shouldn't their boobs be bigger?" Barbara asked.

"Barbara!" Karen snapped, much to Barbi's entertainment.

Barbi giggled as Karen and Jessica scolded Barbara. She was having fun with the interactions between the Titans, making her joining the group a good idea. Barbi was actually feeling much better than when she was being the queen bee of the school.

Tatsu rolled her eyes with the idea of how much food the two Kryptonians could eat. She decided that it was probably for the best to keep an eye on them. Having them running around eating everything in sight was not what Tatsu would call a good time.

Diana, Izuku and Zee tried to find a way to calm down their friends and keep the peace. However, they did not notice the figure of Ember sneaking up behind them.

Ember could feel her mouth fill with saliva. She was going to enjoy devouring the sorceress that cost her her job and the fact that she was dressed as a princess made her taste the irony. She tiptoed towards Zee as her tongue traced her sharpened teeth. She was going over all the different ways she wanted to eat her. Ember wanted to bake Zee into a pie, boil her into a stew, roast her over an open fire. The options that ran through Ember's head were limitless. She reached out to grab the magician.

"Hey Amber! Where you go, girl?" Kara called out.

"We want some more turkey legs in our bellies!" Galatea added.

Ember's left eye twitched in annoyance. She looked at the two Kryptonians as she gritted her teeth. She didn't want to deal with the cavewomen dressed as Conan the Barbarian. She turned back to Zee, only to find that she had already moved away with the rest of the Titans. Ember growled at her missing dinner.

"Amber, are you gonna ring us up, or what?" Galatea asked.

"It's Ember." Ember growled as she went back to her post.

The rest of the Titans walked around the fair looking at the different games and attractions that were being shown. They were enjoying their time, looking at some of the performers doing their acts and playing some of the games.

Tatsu and Barbara tested their skills at the knife throwing game. They each landed on the bullseye, earning them their respective prizes. Tatsu got her hands on a beautiful princess tiara while Barbara got a black flute to go along with her bard look.

Jessica and Karen were making their own bracelets like how they were done in the olden times. Jessica made her bracelet in a bright green making it go along with her elf costume. While Karen made hers in a bright yellow with a few flowers, matching with her flower crown on top of her head.

Barbi decided to test her skill with the fair's version of whack-a-mole. In this case it was a large box with green ogre heads popping up every once in a while. She smiled as her enhanced senses helped her find out where the ogre head would pop out. She smacked each one with great ease and managed to win a large stuffed bunny for her skills.

Kara and Galatea were stuffing their faces with turkey legs while all this was going on about.

However, not everything was going well with the remaining members of the Titans.

"What is the meaning of this?" Diana asked, looking at the fairgrounds.

She pointed to some poor fellow that was in the stocks.

"What kind of enforcer would put a criminal so close to a source of food?" Diana pointed out. "And he isn't even properly locked. He could escape at any minute."

"Just ignore him, Diana." Izuku said, pushing her away.

"Why don't you check out the blacksmithing tent? I'm sure that'll be more your style." Zee suggested, aiding Izuku.

Diana stood before the blacksmithing tent. She looked at the work of the blacksmith with a critical eye.

"See, Diana? This place has so many weapons that you can start to appreciate the fair." Zee said. "These weapons should be right up your alley. Now can you play along?"

Diana grabbed hold of one of the swords on display. She observed it like a judge would in the middle of a contest. She spun it around, testing the weapon's balance and the sharpness of the weapon. She frowned in disappointment.

"How could you call this a weapon? It would shatter with a single flick of one's wrist." Diana snapped. "This is just some shoddy workmanship."

Diana entered the tent and stared sternly at the poor fellow that was working as a blacksmith.

"How can you be so careless with your weapons? The warriors won't last in the battlefield with these. There are cracks and it isn't even properly sharpened. This is how it is done!" Diana said, grabbing the hammer and lighting the furnace.

Diana heated up the blade until it was glowing orange. She struck the blade with the hammer with great skill and strength, taking away the imperfections and the cracks that plagued the sword. She picked up the blade and dunked it in water, causing a large cloud of steam.

As the Titans observed Diana's reforging of the blade, Ember slowly snuck up behind them from the shadows.

Diana pulled out her newly forged blade. She sharpened it with ease until it was more than fit for battle.

"There, now this is a proper blade!" Diana claimed, swinging the blade to prove its sharpness.

However, one of Diana's swings sliced one of the cables of the tent. The tent fell down on top of everyone else, save for the Amazon and the other Titans. This caused one of the display weapons, a mace, to be sent flying at where Ember hid. It then fell on her head, bringing her down with a large bump on her head.

"Maybe we should go somewhere where weapons are far from people." Izuku suggested as Zee glared at Diana.

The Titans arrived at a falconeering show. They sat down, hoping to see what the show was about.

The trainer called upon the falcon to take to the skies and complete it's rehearsed act. However, the falcon was tired and unwilling to move like it would've done in any normal time.

"Well this isn't what I pictured." Jessica muttered.

"It must be pretty tired from all the shows it had to do." Karen added.

"So, what? It is just another bird. Much like the ones that had these legs." Kara joked.

"Except these ones have already been cooked." Galatea added.

"Maybe we should've come here when the bird was not sleeping." Barbi said.

"Do not worry! I shall make that bird of prey fulfill its purpose!" Diana said, jumping down to the stage.

"Oh, no." Zee grunted.

"I'll go stop her before she sets the falcon on a crazy flight." Izuku said, going after Diana.

Below the audience steps, Ember tried to get Zee before anyone could notice her.

On the stage, Diana approached the trainer and the falcon.

"Come on sweety, one more show and then a nice treat." the falconeer said, scratching the falcon's chin. "What do you say, Hermes?"

"Falcon master! You cannot speak to this mighty creature like a pet!" Diana stated. "You must make it respect you! This exercise is one of great importance and shows the bond between the creature and its master."

"Um, Diana, I think you should leave this to the man. He is trained to handle dangerous animals." Izuku said, climbing up the stage to get Diana off of it.

"Nonsense, Izuku. I have tamed many mighty beasts such as this one. Come, mighty Hermes!" Diana commanded, holding out her armored forearm.

The falcon snapped from its stupor and flew to Diana's forearm.

"Now, mighty Hermes. Live up to your name and take to the skies in search of your prey!" Diana instructed the falcon.

The falcon flew up into the air, letting out a great cry for adventure.

However, the audience and the trainer were left speechless. Not only did the falcon fly off, taking the entertainment of the show away, but it also meant that a wild animal was now on the loose.

"Um, Diana, how do you get the falcon back?" Izuku asked.

"Oh, the mighty beast will return to me once it has captured any worthy prey it finds." Diana replied.

The falcon then flew down from above, flying over the audience in search of something to catch.

The people ducked for cover, only getting their hats and treats taken from them.

The rest of the Titans tried to get out of the way of the falcon, but it managed to snatch the crown from Zee's head.

"My princess crown!" Zee said as the crown fell down on to where Ember was hiding.

The crown struck her head.

"Ow." Ember said, stepping out holding the crown. "What kind of a dits would drop a crown under the seats?"

The cry of a falcon caught Ember's attention. She looked up as the falcon flew down at her and started attacking her for the crown. Ember threw the crown away, hoping to distract the bird from her. However, she didn't have any luck with that.

Zee recovered her crown as the Titans fled the scene.

The Titans hid amongst the crowd of the audience that wanted to watch the joust of the two knights. They were all hoping for a quiet event without any problems and some of them were rightfully trying to keep a certain princess from doing anything else. It wasn't that they didn't understand that Diana had been raised on an island with a similar culture and tradition, but it was that she was getting a little too into the reality of the situation.

"Diana, please, this is one of the last events of the day, do not get up and mess this up." Zee begged the Amazon. "This is all for entertainment. Not real!"

"But the ideas and the things that they do in this fair should be done properly, or not at all. If these were the ancient times, these people would no doubt be defeated and conquered." Diana said in her defense.

"Still Diana, some people like to imagine things were a bit more magical and romantic than what they truly were." Izuku explained.

"Yes, many shows and books and manga have been written portraying samurai as unstoppable warriors and vikings as brutal conquerors." Tatsu explained. "It happens."

"So please, just enjoy the show." Barbi said.

"Let the joust begin~!" Barbara sang with her lute.

Down on the field, the two knights armed themselves with their lances. They charged at each other aiming their lances at their respective shields. They clashed, knocking each other from their horses.

The audience cheered for the knights as they got back up... Well, all except one.

"Why are you cheering for this? Their battle style is far too predictable, and that armor will not allow for proper movement." Diana explained. "Izuku could defeat him with a single punch. Even Zee with a flick of her wrist."

"Diana." Zee sneered.

The two knights continued their battle with swords, giving the audience what they wanted. Their swords clashed causing some sparks, much to the audience's surprise and delight. They were able to knock each other around with their brutish style of combat. However, once their battle was ended they turned around towards the audience, pulling out a couple of flowers. They were to give them to the fairest women amongst the audience. Their eyes quickly landed upon the female Titans. The beauty that the two knights spotted made them howl like wolves from an old cartoon.

"Look alive ladies, looks like the tin cans think we are flower worthy." Kara snickered.

"Too bad that these flowers have already been picked by a real man." Galatea snickered.

"Girls, I don't think you should be saying that so loudly." Izuku said, blushing from the comments.

"Oh, don't feel threatened, my mate. Those fools are clearly all talk and no bite. And if they try anything funny, we'll shred them with ease." Barbi said, showing off her claws.

"That is very true, Barbi. We don't need to take their sympathies of any kind." Diana added.

"Please, ladies. Although we are taken, we can allow some poor fellows to flatter us with a couple of flowers." Zee argued.

The two knights were fighting to see who they were going to give the flowers to. In the end they settled with giving Zee the flowers. They threw the flowers at Zee. She appeared to be the closest they could see as a princess. Something that was not well seen by the other female Titans. But they decided to let it pass as they had the better man on their side.

"Oh, this is very flattering." Zee said with false embarrassment.

Zee felt like an actual princess, being given flowers by valiant knights. The only way that the moment could be better was if it was Izuku as the knight, giving her and the other female Titans the flowers. She reached out to catch them.

However, Diana's warrior instincts took hold of her. She shot out her hand at the flowers, thinking they were weapons.

"Oh, sorry… Warrior instincts." Diana said, sheepishly.

Zee's lower eyelid twitched. She looked like she was about to blow a gasket at Diana. However, before the magician could banish Diana to another dimension, she took in a deep breath before letting out all the rage and annoyance she had out of her body.

"Don't worry, Diana. It isn't your fault." Zee said, gritting her teeth. "Would you excuse me?"

Zee walked past Diana and the crowd. She may have held a calm face, but one could tell that she was about to blow.

"I'll go see what is going on." Izuku said, going after Zee.

Zee walked past the other visitors to the fair, cursing under her breath. She had hoped to spend the day living the fantasy of being a princess like in all those stories that her father and mother read to her when she was younger. She wanted to feel like she was in a fairy tale, without all the stresses of her normal life. Having her friends and the man she loved was a great bonus to the experience she remembered when she was little. But Zee couldn't believe that Diana would go and try to make things feel realistic. People didn't go to fairs like this one to see realism. She eventually found a wooden crate far from the rest of the fair, where she could sit down.

"Why does she have to be a warrior princess all the time? Is it too much to ask for her to be calm and play along with the fair?" Zee grumbled.

She let out a sigh, hoping that venting like this would be what she needed. She just needed to stay away from her friends for a little bit and then she would return and apologise if she needed to. It was something that people often needed with intense friends.

However, Zee wasn't as alone as she thought.

Ember slowly approached her from behind. The dragoness didn't want to waste her chance. She had been foiled enough times and her hunger for vengeance was at a breaking point. She shed her human disguise, letting her hair turn into large curved horns, her skin turn to red scales, a pair of bat-like wings sprung from her back and her spike tail to come out. Her razor sharp teeth were visible with her vicious and vindictive smile.

"I should probably go back now. The girls must be worried." Zee said, as Ember's shadow covered her.

Zee turned around and saw who was behind her.

Ember grabbed hold of Zee's face, keeping her quiet.

"Hello, princess. My, don't you look delicious?" Ember giggled, pulling out some rope.

"Zee! Where are you?!" Izuku called out.

He had been walking in search of Zee, but he had not been able to spot her. He thought that she had gone to the fountain to get a break from the stress. But he had not been able to spot her. He was starting to get worried.

"AAAAHHHH!"

Izuku's head snapped at the sound of the scream. He recognized it as Zee's voice. He looked up at the source of the scream. He spotted Ember carrying out Zee away to the tower of the princess reenactment.

"Zee!" Izuku called out, activating One For All.

Izuku pulled out his earpiece and called the rest of the Titans.

"Girls, Zee's just been kidnapped by a dragon!" Deku transmitted through the earpiece. "I'm in pursuit of them. It's taken Zee to the princess tower. I don't know why, but I'm on my way there!"

"We receive you, Deku. Titans Together!" Diana replied from the other end of the communicator.

Izuku grabbed hold of a green domino mask from one of the stands and called upon black whip and float to shoot himself to the top of the tower.

At the top of that very same tower, Ember threw a tied up and gagged Zee onto a chair.

Zee struggled against her binds, trying to free herself. However, she was pushed back into the chair by Ember.

"Oh sorry princess. But you're not going anywhere." Ember said. "You have an appointment with my stomach for costing me my job."

Zee glared at Ember.

"Aw, you are so cute thinking that your knight in shining armor will show up to save you." Ember mocked.

"Zee! Get away from her, monster!" Deku called out from the window of the tower.

Zee gave Ember a smug look.

Ember turned around as Green Lantern, Bumblebee, Batgirl, and Supergirl arrived, still wearing their fair costumes.

"Release our friend, dragon!" Green Lantern said, creating a bow construct.

Ember growled at the Titans before she jumped at them to attack.

Deku and Supergirl jumped to meet the dragon, reeling their fists back. They struck Ember, sending her flying out the other window of the tower.

"Man, that was easy!" Supergirl said. "I'm starting to get used to this costume if I'm honest."

"Bumblebee, Batgirl, get Zee out of here." Deku instructed. "We'll handle the dragon."

Just as Deku said that, Ember bursted back into the tower. She grabbed hold of Deku and Supergirl, using them to push out the other Titans. She dropped them all out on the field as the rest of the Titans gathered with their teammates.

"You all will pay for getting in the way of my meal!" Ember roared with fire erupting from her mouth.

"Stand down, foul villain!" Wonder Woman said, aiming her sword at her.

"You better do what she says. She takes this very seriously." Cheetah said, although she did show off her claws. "But release the magician before I turn you into a purse."

Deku saw Ember, remembering who the dragon truly was. He remembered her being right next to Brother Night a few weeks ago.

"I know you! You're Ember, one of Brother Night's lackeys!" Deku said.

"Wait, wait, wait. She's Amber?" Powergirl asked.

"Turkey leg stand, Amber?" Supergirl added. "Wow, you really got an improvement over turkey leg saleswoman." She laughed.

However, those words took Ember over the edge.

"My. Name. Is. EMBER!" Ember roared, letting out a blast of fire from her mouth.

The Titans jumped to the sides, avoiding the flames from the dragon. They didn't have the time to play around with Ember, now that she had gone off the rails. They could feel her wrath as easily as they did the fire. If they didn't stop her, Ember would burn down the whole fair like a turkey leg.

"We must divide and conquer! Deku, Cheetah, Powergirl, Supergirl, with me! We'll take the battle to Ember! Green Lantern, Batgirl, Katana, Bumblebee, free Zatanna and then join us for battle!" Wonder Woman instructed. "Titans Together!"

Deku charged at the dragon using Full Cowling. He ran from one side as Cheetah rushed the dragon from the other side. They reeled back their legs, before unleashing them at Ember's face. Their powerful legs were too much for the villain girl, sending her back with sparks illuminated the field. They didn't stop their attacks, they jumped forward.

Deku called out Black whip and wrapped around Ember's legs. He pulled her back with the power of One For All.

Cheetah then saw her chance to attack. She ran up the black tendrils with her cat-like skill. She brandished her claws and unleashed a powerful swipe at Ember, sending her flying. She then landed next to Deku with a small thud.

"Nice shot, Cheetah." Deku said, pulling back Black Whip.

"We do make a great team, beloved." Cheetah said.

"Less flirting, more fighting!" Supergirl snapped.

"Yeah, we can celebrate later!" Powergirl added.

Ember stopped herself with her wings. She glared at the two Titans that struck her, but before she could do anything to counterattack she was wrapped by the Lasso of Truth.

Wonder Woman pulled Ember down, just for the two Kryptonian Titans to punch her down to the ground.

Ember was buried deep into the ground. She climbed out with rage and murder in her eyes. She blasted fire from her mouth, pushing back the Titans. She channeled her flames into two massive fire claws. She punched Supergirl, sending her into Powergirl. Ember grabbed hold of both blondes, slamming them into the ground with the enhanced power of the fire magic.

"Magic. I hate magic." Supergirl groaned.

"Yeah, it's not fun when it's your one weakness." Powergirl added.

Ember then turned to face the rest of the heroes that had gone to save her meal. She breathed fire at the Titans that were around her, giving her some cover. She then took to the sky once more, going into the tower. She stood before the Titans as they tried to undo Zatanna's binds.

"Get away from my dinner!" Ember roared.

Katana charged at Ember with Soultaker.

Ember used her tail to snatch one of the empty buckets. She flung it at Katana, forcing her to slice it. Ember used this chance to tackle the samurai girl, flinging her to Green Lantern. Ember then moved up to deal with Batgirl and Bumblebee.

Batgirl threw her flutes and maracas at Ember in an attempt to take her out.

Ember erected a wall of fire, burning down all of Batgirl's musical instruments.

"Really thought that was gonna work." Batgirl muttered.

Ember caught Batgirl and Bumblebee and threw them out of the tower. She then turned to Zee with a hungry yet angry look on her face.

"Alright, no more interruptions. I am eating you now!" Ember said, grabbing Zee.

Ember opened her mouth as big as she could, almost big enough to swallow a bucket of turkey legs whole. She wanted to have a large serving of revenge and make good on her desire to put the magician in her place. She lifted Zee up to her mouth, her fangs were ready to take a bite out of the magician.

Zee struggled against her restraints, hoping to loosen her binds. But she was getting closer to Ember's mouth. She closed her eyes, hoping that someone would save her.

"SMASH!"

The eyes of both Zee and Ember went wide as the tower was struck by a powerful shock.

The tower shook, causing Ember to lose her balance and tumble backwards out the window.

In the blink of an eye, Deku snatched Zee from Ember's clutches. He held her tightly with his left arm wrapping around her. He aimed his right arm at Ember, focusing One For All to his fingers.

"Full Cowling Shoot Style: Delaware Air Force Smash!" Deku called out.

He flicked his fingers, releasing a powerful blast of compressed air. His attack travelled directly at his enemy, blasting Ember far into the mud pit.

Deku then used float to levitate himself and Zatanna down to the ground. Once their feet touched the ground, he grabbed the gag that Zee had.

"Hold on, Zee." Deku said, pulling off the gag. "Are you alright?"

Just then, Ember returned, covered in mud. Steam came off of her as she glared at the heroes.

The rest of the Titans gathered around their comrades, ready for another fight.

"You wanna play dragons and princesses? Well, let me show you a real dragon!" Ember roared with fire coming out of her every scale.

Ember's body turned more animalistic as her wings and tail grew larger and more beast-like. Her neck extended as her face and horns soon followed. Her eyes turned yellow as spikes came out of her back. Gone were her womanly curves and her feminine wiles, now she had transformed into the beast that many religions and cultures feared. Ember had transformed into a large dragon.

Zee took a deep breath and looked at Deku with magic light coming from her eyes.

"Oh darling, I've never felt better." Zatanna replied. "Ekam ym sserd nrut otni ym emutsoc!"

In a flash of purple light, Zatanna stood ready for a battle with her friends against the dragon.

"Now, let's give this overgrown purse a realistic experience." Zatanna said before chanting. "Tnarg eht Snatit thgink romra!"

In a flash of purple light, all the costumes that the Titans were wearing had transformed into knight's armor, like those of a classic Arthurian tale. They observed their new look before they smiled at their new armors and weapons. They looked at Ember who snarled at them.

"Titans! Together!" Wonder Woman called before they all charged at the dragon.

The Titans attacked the dragon.

Deku jumped over the claws of the dragon, landing a powerful ax kick from the air. He was then followed up by Supergirl and Powergirl, reeling back their fists for a mighty punch to the dragon's chest.

Ember was sent back with a snarl. She was not going to be defeated by a bunch of heroes pretending to be knights. She blasted fire at the heroes with rage in her eyes.

However, the wall of flames was blocked by a large wall of green will power. Green Lantern had made a powerful shield construct, covering her friends.

Batgirl, Bumblebee, and Katana joined in for their own attack. Batgirl threw a pair of smoke bombs at Ember's face, blinding her with dark smoke. Bumble bee flew through the smoke, shooting at Ember's nostrils forcing her to cry out in pain. Katana took this opportunity and pulled out Soultaker. She sliced off Ember's horns with a single swipe before she slid down Ember's neck, before she kicked the back of Ember's head.

Ember roared in pain as she thrashed around in rage.

Wonder Woman, Cheetah and Zatanna took on the next and final strike. Cheetah rushed under Ember's legs. The former villain sliced at Ember's legs, bringing her down and unable to move around any longer.

Deku jumped in and called upon Black Whip, increasing its power with One For All. He tied up the dragon with his black tendrils, pulling her down and keeping her open for any other attacks.

Zatanna chanted a spell, empowering Wonder Woman's sword.

"Rewopme eht drows fo ecitsuj dna hsinab eht nogard htiw eno ekirts!" Zatanna chanted.

Wonder Woman's sword glowed with bright magic. The Amazon gripped the sword with her hand before she charged at the dragon. She held up the sword over her head, letting out an Amazon's battlecry with all her might. She plunged down the sword with a single strike.

Ember cried in pain as the sword plunged into her chest.

The magic in the sword coursed through Ember's body. Her body began to shrink back down to her original size. She laid down in the ground completely knocked out with the Titans around her.

"It seems these princesses have slain the dragon." Zatanna commented.

"Like a good old story." Diana added.

"You know, I think I'll like this hero thing." Cheetah remarked.

"And as they say, all that begins well, ends well." Deku added.

"Let's sing a song!" Batgirl said in a singing voice.

"No!" Supergirl and Powergirl replied.

At the end of the day, the new team of heroes saved the day and their deeds were written down in a book. To tell future generations like those tales of olden days about their heroic actions and the ideals they inspired.
