Phoebe POV
"And after that I became upset, I drove Finn away. Before I knew it I cannot bring the two of us together again, NOW TELL ME WHY DID FINN HAD THOSE DREAMS!?" I was literally pressuring a cosmic entity to do my bidding, the owl looked superior at first but as I finish the story he became apologetic. "I can't tell you why, I'm in a very delicate position about the matter." "You can't tell me that! THAT IS NOT AN ACCEPTABLE ANSWER!" I began flaming up and the owl was cautious he slowly backed away and as he flew out I blasted towards him, he looked back and flew faster after seeing me chasing him down. Luckily I'm fast.
He tried shaking me off by opening portals to different dreams, I was fast enough to follow through and I saw weird dreams. 'If I see this stuff every day I'll go crazy!' I continued chasing him, I felt that he's not slowing down anytime soon so I began launching fire bombs in front of the owl to slow him down. "Stop chasing me okay, I have other works to do." "Not until you give me an answer!" I replied back. He was repelling it with strong gusts of wind and he was starting to get too fast so I stopped to throw a big one and this time it stopped him dead in his tracks. "Finally, I got you."
I put a fireball close to his face and I said, "Answer me or you'll get it." The owl was persistent it kept silent so I intensified the flames to almost a bright yellow color, I could feel that the owl was about to break so I held it there. "ALRIGHT!" I pulled back and I waited for the owl to catch his breath, *pant* "It's the Pillars,*Pant* they ordered me to give Finn false premonitions. I just take orders please, forgive me." I glared at him but I could see that he was sincere, "Alright, show them to me." The owl was reluctant but he showed me six beings and then at the end I woke up, it was dawn.
"Sister, it's time to strike the enemy." My brother said as I finished fastening my armor, with the death of the rock king we now have significant advantage. After the morning preparations the army was gathered in the battlefield and in front of us were the rock soldiers and their generals. With a sound of a trumpet the assault began, I led the charge; I worked my way in the middle of the enemy's front to maximize damage. I made a flame wall to divide the enemy and our soldiers picked them off one by one, on the other side the enemy troops were backing down which was my signal to break the wall to let my people proceed.
"It's is time to give the enemy kingdoms the war they deserve!" My brother proudly stated, we along with the candy officers pushed to the edge of the outpost of the rock and slime kingdom. When we got there the defenses that were set up were tough, we sent in long range fire shooters to disable most of the turrets and we began attacking the outpost. Once we got there the two armies clashed meanwhile my brother and I were busy handling five rock giants. I was using precise flames to hurt them, it wasn't very effective but after weakening their armors my brother sent out fireballs which were powerful enough to take down the giants. It was the first time I saw my brother, having the time of his life.
Finn POV
'This sucks...' Is what I was thinking while trying to stand, I could feel every inch of my body in pain as I move. "I didn't take you as a torturer Lich." "Enough with the wisecracks, I only changed my mind cause I'm bored and being trapped in this woman's body is just adding to that." The pain intensified as I finished that I almost fell down again, I managed to hold it back but right after I got settled the Lich attacked. I held my sword up to counter his blade but one stabbed me on my shoulder which made me howl. "Since I can't kill you, I'll just break you to pieces." The Lich swings the blades up.
I couldn't move my hands fast enough to block so I braced myself instead. But after not feeling anything I looked up and I saw the Lich knocked back and my body was covered in flames. My wounds healed almost instantaneously which made me more relaxed. "You still have some luck, it's what makes you more annoying." The lich rushed towards me, this time I struck back. I kicked him and I hit him on the gut with the blunt of my sword. "What's with the weak punches Finn!?" I wanted to defeat him but to kill Tia is to make matters much worse. 'Just do her in along with the Lich.' This fucking voice, I'm not listening to him.
I locked the voice away but suddenly I felt a sting on my side, I was cut but the Lich was still where he stood. "I guess your surprised expression just means that you don't know her power yet?" I nodded. I felt another swipe on my shoulder and then the Lich was in front of me. "She can manipulate time, see the past and the future. And the only future I see is you dead." "Impossible!" I tried punching him with my gauntlet but he was gone, I see silhouettes of him but suddenly a smash to the head placed me back in to sleep. "You fucking idiot." "Watch your language; you're just a voice inside of my head."
"Your body is being toyed right now, I'm not for using up energy but if you break I'll fade so I'll strike you a deal." The shadow explained me what he wanted, at this point I had no choice but to agree since I ran out of ideas after my last attack. "Now wake up, I'll take care of the rest." With that his figure faded and I woke up again, then the pain struck back. My hands were held to the ground by blades and there are two swords on my back. 'Now say: in absentia luci, tenebrae vincunt' "in absentia luci, tenebrae vincunt!" I felt like my consciousness is being ripped from my body it was much painful.
Shadow POV
"It's my turn old man, time to turn you into a distant memory." "I was wondering when you will surface again." I snickered, the lich haven't changed one bit. I conjured shadow tendrils to pull out the blades on Finn's hands and back. When I freed his body I stood up and immediately captured the Lich. "HOW THE HELL!?" "I guess the dark is faster than light." I approached him slowly and I said, "I'll do you a favor and kill this woman, but before that I'll seal you up first." I lifted Tia's body as I prepare for the extraction. "You'll pay for this, Mary." "I think my payment has been made and you're the merchandise." I said as I slowly protruded Tia's body.
Third Person View
Many soldiers lay waste in the battlefield. Bodies littered the ground from both side, a rock soldier is collecting his fallen comrade's dog tags. He looked at it with a sigh knowing his old friend will be reduced to just a number. As he turns a fire kingdom soldier is in front of him, he looked at his option only to see that he has none so to save himself he raised his hands to surrender. "Thank you." The flame person said as he restrained him. He along with many of the prisoners of war were brought to a facility underground of the candy kingdom, inside was a facility with many types of recreational activities which confused the rock soldier.
When he got in he saw a fellow squad mate and he asked, "What the heck is this place?" "It's cool just relax, the enemy is weird man. They take prisoners here and they just let them rest, most of the guards even interact with us like we are not enemies." "You should still be wary if I were you." The distrusting soldier said. "You know, I don't think we should be even fighting in the first place." Meanwhile up the surface a fierce battle is being fought again, The rock kingdom's outpost has fallen and Flame Princesses' brother was tasked to prevent from it being taken back. The slime kingdom is sending tanks on the outpost but all failed.
The new occupants of the outpost, the fire kingdom, is waiting for reinforcement before staging another assault and since they haven't arrive yet they can only hold down the fort. "Sir, the last of the tank formation that tried to retake the outpost has been subdued." Colonel Candy Corn reported to the flame general. "Thank you, our partnership has been very fruitful." "Yes, still we had many injured soldiers from the takeover." The Prince simply nodded and at that time his mind is still set on most of the casualties and injuries taken by the people under his command. The colonel noticed it and he said, "Take some time off for tonight, you did good young flame." And then walks away.
The next morning, the whole outpost was rattled by an early attack from the enemy. "DO NOT RUSH, PREPARE ACCORDINGLY!" The general announced. Time was on the essence but if his people come to the battle under-gunned it will be suicide. Many of the soldiers got hurt while gathering their gear but those who made it were just enough to hold on until their reinforcements arrive. But the worst came, fighter planes from the slime kingdom loomed over the battlefield. Many of the flame and candy soldiers dove for cover, most took refuge behind the ruined enemy tanks. "FLUSH THEM OUT!" One rock sergeant ordered, and one by one the helpless soldiers in the frontlines were shot to their deaths.
In the distance Flame Princess along with the lumpy space soldiers and wizards came to aid their comrades, they began shutting down the planes which gave the ground troops ample space to regroup. A squad of wizards came down to push the enemy away, to let the medics save whoever they can. Flame Princesses brother soon joined her side and as they look into the horizon another fleet of tanks are coming to try and take back the place, "This is the longest day we will have brother." "I didn't expect myself to get tired this easily." Flame Princess tapped her brother's shoulder and said before attacking, "We will win this, don't stop being the brother I grew up with."
Seph POV
Things got out of hand fairly quickly, as the meeting started I am greeted with a very bad news. "Say that again?" I asked Tyrone. "I said, Tia left us, betrayed us." "Well it wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for your intervention." Tyrone walked towards me. "let's think about this for a moment." Hugo said trying to calm him down, but it wasn't going to stop him, not a chance. "You blame me? I built this, if it wasn't for my 'intervention' you would all be scattered trying to contain the chaos!" he was digging his fingers too much that I had to push him away. "You need to stop, if you hadn't put that damnable thing into her-"
Before I could say all what's in my mind I received a heavy punch which pushed me to the edge. I looked back at him and I returned the favor, a punch of my own crashed into his jaw. "YOU UNGRATEFUL-" "YOU DON'T GE TO SAY THAT! WE HAVE BEEN SUPPORTING YOU FOR FAR TOO LONG, TODAY YOU WILL KNOW YOUR TRUE PLACE!" "TRY THEN!" Both of us crashed at each other, Tyrone grabbed my neck and held me to the wall. The other three tried to interfere but I glared at them and they stopped. With that taken care of I looked at Tyrone, I start punching his face to loosen his grip on me and then a kick to his side.
He staggered back, this was my chance to awaken his senses. I ran towards him, as he gained back his focus I opened a short portal to his back to catch him off guard. I connected on his face with a right hook. I could hear his bones cracking and so was mine, so I leapt back to the portal to distance myself from him. As I did that he released an energy wave which I wasn't prepared for, the others managed to avoid damage but I took most of it which made my arm injury from my attack earlier much worse. Before he could get to me though I opened a portal on the top and bottom of where he was standing.
As expected he fell again and again, and as the momentum builds-up I grabbed him out of it and I slammed his body on one of the tall pillars of the meeting hall. "Don't..." "What is it!?" I asked. "DON'T DO THAT AGAIN!" he slammed his head on mine which made me curl in pain, and he followed it up with a kick to my stomach and an elbow to my back. When he turned me to face him I couldn't fight anymore, Tyrone seems to notice that. "This is for disrespecting me." I received punch to the face. "This is for fighting against me." Another punch came and another, it was non-stop. Hugo was about to stop him but.
"And this is... Is for acting rash and selfish." He got off of me and pulled me up which made us all wonder, but as I get up on my feet I felt an essence engulf my body and then the pain was gone. "What is it you want from this Seph? I know you for a long time, and leadership is what you hate the most." I was surprised, I didn't know what to answer at that moment but for a second only one thing came to me. Tia. "I want to help Tia, my friend, our friend. I can't abandon her." "I still can't do that." Tyrone said. "Then I guess this is goodbye my friend." I said as I shook his hand and then I left the hall for good.
Marceline POV
"I told you over and over again, you can't go Tia is dangerous." "Step aside Thea, if you don't want to go then stay here." Maxwell said as she pushed her away. "Alright, let the fun begins." Dad says as we passed through the portal. On the other side was a room with orbs. "This is where Tia's time spheres are gathered, don't touch them." While inside the room I observed the various scenes playing out inside them, I saw random occurrences on random people but I spotted one in the corner of my eyes. It was when I caught Finn with bubblegum and it even showed what we did after, I quickly hid it on my bag and said to myself. 'That woman must be a pervert.'
Nico waved us over on the door and there we saw Finn with shadow appendages holding Tia and the Lich side by side! And with a creepy voice he said. "I'll have your essence now." Just as that the Lich was absorbed into Finn. "That is not the boy." Dad quickly said, we busted the door down. "Finn drop her!" He held Tia hostage and said. "I'm doing you all a favor. She's your enemy right?" he said with a grin on his face. He pierced Tia's shoulder which awoken her cruelly. He dropped her on the ground as she was screaming in pain. "SHUT UP!" He raised the shadow sword. Nico raced to stop him but it was too late.
Finn, while possessed, impaled Tia in front of all of us. Nico grabbed him away from the sword and puts him to sleep. We rushed to Tia to see if we can save her. she was beginning to run out of breath, Huntress held the sword but she stops her. "N-no d-don't. I won't make it anyway." She coughed up blood. "M-Max..." "Yes?" Maxwell asked. "C-cleanse Finn, don't let the darkness be nurtured inside him." "I will is there anything you need?" Maxwell replied holding back her tears. "Forgive me for lying." "No, I'm sorry for betraying you and our friends." "G-Grayson is..." Tia took one last breath and her eyes closed shut. "NO!" Maxwell yelled. She finally broke down and cried.
Huntress and I came to her and hugged her while dad pulled the sword out and as he did Tia's body lets out a blinding light and in condensed into a small oval gem. It shot towards Finn's gauntlet embedding itself into it. "YOU KILLED HER!" Nico and Dad were thrashed to the walls and a man picked Finn up which prompts Maxwell to stand up and us to surround him. "Seph put him down, it's not him it's the thing inside him." "I forsake my place, Tyrone and the others only for you to kill her. WAKE UP!" Finn opened his eyes and he asked, "What happened?" He threw Finn in anger but I caught him. "Where's the Lich?"
"You killed him, along with Tia. she's now trapped into that gauntlet." Seph answered. Finn looked at his arm and he spots the gem and he said, "I didn't mean to do it, I wasn't myself it was the dark voice." "That doesn't change anything, her blood in now in your hands." He pulled Finn back, this time I assured myself. I dashed towards them, Seph opened a portal and jumped inside along with Finn. The portal closed just at the same time I got through. "You're persistent aren't you? Vampire queen." "You won't get away if you hurt my boyfriend." "I'm not, but I'm not letting him off either." I charged at Seph, I gave him a solid kick.
He dropped Finn and I strangled him. "I meant what I said." "Me too." At that point I was too late. Finn was gone and the portal on the floor disappeared. "I can't let a dangerous man like him to roam around any longer. "Where is he!?" I asked, I transformed into my giant bat form and I slammed his body on the ground. "If I have to break all your bones to tell me I will." "Do it, I don't have the answer anyway, and it's next to impossible for you to get him back or for him to find his way back." It was too much, I repeatedly beat him, with the next punch harder than the last. The only thing that stopped me was my dad holding me back. "I'll do the talking now sweetie, I'll get Finn back for you."
Hunson is now on serious mode, Finn is thrown someplace else and the Pillars are starting to succumb to pressure. The war is getting more and more brutal and with Tia's death begins the fall of all beings into chaos, how will Maxwell, Althea and the others get a hold of the situation now that Finn is sent into the unknown?
