Marceline watches the two unknown beings approaching them, the two heroes put their guard up and held on to their weapons. "Do you usually have giants like these?" Finn asked. "Never saw them before." The other Finn answered his question. The Giants drew close and before they go further they stopped and turned their faces towards the two. "What do you want!?" "Surrender the vampire." One answered with a monotone voice. "What!?" Other Finn followed up. The two giants looked at each other and proceed to bring down their hands towards Finn, He pulled out his sword and summoned shadows to protect him from the attack. The hands were deflected and he proceeds to swing, hurting the giant on the left.

It staggered back holding it's damaged hand, Finn looked at Marceline and she was fighting with other Finn against the right giant. Marceline was viciously swinging her axe at the giants feet while other Finn was attacking it with molten rocks. Finn faced his opponent and he saw that the damage he did was gone. "This is going to be tough." He thought to himself. The giant swung two hands this time, Finn puts up another shadow dome to seal himself but this time it shattered into pieces and he flew meters from where he stood. Finn quickly recovered from the massive hit he took and this time he goes on the offense. He bound the giant with shadows.

He puts more power into his blade and readies to slice the opponent in half. He ran and leapt, he attacked it right in the middle and his sword carved into it like a piece of rock. When he was done he landed safely and the top half of the giant fell. The two pieces dissipated like dust, Finn turned to his comrades and he saw that the giant in their side became something else. Its feet became a whirlwind of fire, it's arms became fluid like appendages and it's upper body became crystalline in appearance. Marceline and other Finn were stuck in defense trying to fend off even the weakest of it's attacks. Finn tried to rush in and help.

But he stopped when he sensed something familiar, his power. He turned and he saw the giant he slew grew back but its body was a shadow. "What the hell." He prepared another attack but his sword phased through the giant. It was intangible, he calmed himself down and thought of a solution. An idea popped in his head, he turned and grabbed the other giant instead. The other two fighters stopped seeing how easily Finn pulled the giant away. "He's... Powerful." Other Finn stated. Finn on the other hand didn't waste any time, when the other giant was close to his he placed a boundary and enclosed them inside a dark dome. The two came to his side, "What now?"

"I'll crush them inside." Finn answered. He compressed the dome slowly but suddenly a spike of shadow pierced him in his shoulders. "Finn!" Marceline shouted she tried to cut it but her axe went through. "Physical attacks won't work." Finn said as he tried to back the pain down, he continued compressing the dome but the giant inside retaliated, it released ten spikes from the ground and stitched through his body Finn struggled to keep himself awake but his vision slowly faded and the only thing he can hear is Marceline's cries. The spikes disappeared along with the dome, Marceline caught his body and other Finn was on his guard. The two giants inside turned back to normal and begun walking towards them, Marceline opened a portal to the nightosphere and they escaped.

Meanwhile in Ethan's domain, Althea watch in shock as she saw what happened. She turned to her old friend and said, "What the hell are you doing? he's not the enemy!" "Those are not my regulators." Ethan answered. She went mad and slapped him across his face, she was about to do it again but this time he caught her hand. "Listen, those things are rouge creations of Primus and I." Althea crossed her arms and he continues, "We created it six months after you left." He explained how the two were supposed to erase anomalies in reality but their psyche was sealed and tried to enter the other world portals after it was discovered. "Even with Clay and Primus we struggled to fight."

"Then how did you stop it?" Althea asked. "Another death came through one of the portals as the giants tried to enter, he sealed them and sunk them into the ocean." "Another death?" Althea thought. She remembered how Maxwell hid her presence in the form of death. "We can't rely on that friend of yours now can we?" she asked. Ethan shook his head sideways, "But he talked to me personally and gave me a proposition: 'Work with me in the future.' He said and gave me a small cube." Althea's eyes shot up and she demanded the location of the cube. Before Ethan could answer Primus shows up, "ETHAN I- Whoa, Althea!" "Do you have it!?" She asked bluntly.

Before he could give her an answer she grabbed him and started walking away. "Wait where are we-" "Shut it you're involved in this too." Primus resisted which made her angrier. "I need to check on my regulator units, they disappeared without a trace!" "But only you have the means to stop those rouge giants." Althea gave him a sharp glare, he looked at Ethan for help. "I'll send reconnaissance for the fallen regulators, go to the nightosphere and help that anomaly." After saying that, Ethan threw an artifact towards Primus. He then opened a portal and the two went through. "This is not part of the grand plan; something bad is happening on that other death's side." Ethan thought.

Marceline was fighting back her tears while carrying the unconscious Finn in her arms, other Finn placed his hand on her shoulders and showed her a stern expression in his face. "He took a beating, but he'll be fine." He said trying to assure her. They glided through the Nightosphere as fast as they could, the moment they got to Hunson's, they were greeted by the cheerful devil. "Marceline, how have you been sweetie?" "No time, giants were chasing us and now he's-" Hunson saw Finn and he was surprised to see him as a vampire, "When did you turn him, he's married Marceline what were you thinking!?" Only after saying those word, that he noticed Other Finn standing on her right.

At that moment Hunson remembered the last meeting he and the others had, it was this Finn that the other death said to keep away from this reality. "What do we do!?" Marceline asked. "Leave him here, and never turn back." Hunson said with all the seriousness in his face. "That's ridiculous, there are powerful giants chasing him, they're the ones who did this." She pleaded to stay again and again by then Hunson finally accepted her request. "I'll make some calls, for now watch out for those giants. The two nodded and they laid Finn's body at the center of the room just a meter away from the balcony. They surveyed the immediate vicinity but they were alerted by a flash of blinding light from behind. They guarded up but eased when they saw althea and Primus were the ones who arrived.

Back to the other world, Flame Princess and her army has pushed the enemy's efforts to take the outpost back. Still while the enemy was retreating she rushed in to help with the wounded and she saw that even though they achieved this victory their situation was still dire. Many were fatally wounded and the body count was increasing, "The rock kingdom and its allies are stepping it up, we need to do something." She thought as she continued helping around, assigning guards to help with carrying those who still can be saved and setting up a proper meeting room inside one of the Intel offices abandoned when they drove out the opposition. After the preparations she called all the officials with her when they arrived.

"Listen Princess I know that we are winning the fights but it's becoming costly to us, not only in terms of supplies but in man power as well." A candy major exclaimed. "I know how it feels, I have my own men deployed there but we can't attack at full force yet. We need more information." She answered back. While they continue debating a fire soldier came in and gave the Princess a piece of paper. She read it silently and when done she placed her hand on her mouth. "What is it?" her brother asked. She looked at all of them and said, "three hundred and seventy-eight died. One hundred and twenty-six from the candy kingdom, Sixty-seven are lumpy space men and one hundred and eighty-five from my people.

The room fell silent, the casualty was more than they expected. The flame prince gritted his teeth and slammed his closed fist into the table. "Scour this place, find every single Intel that they left in a hurry and decrypt them all. Documents, blueprints and schematics do not let anything slip past your eyes!" Everybody moved and went to work on the place. The filing cabinets were emptied out, interfaces were turned into banana man and his tech team and important signed documents were given to Flame princess to investigate. Anyone who was available was asked to search the other buildings for supplies that they can use, and with that the outpost was as busy as before again, no one had time to mourn.

By the time the sun was setting all of the information they've gathered so far was in the presence of Flame Princess and the other officers, they reviewed it all individually and only one report shows made them concerned for their position in the war. "They still have a stockpile of those damned missiles?" "Unfortunately it's inside the rock kingdom itself." Flame princess added. "We have their schematics for the slime kingdom's tanks, I've commissioned the engineer in yellow to start gathering materials and I've pooled some of the men to help producing the tanks itself." The prince reported. This gave some of the officers a comforting feeling. "How long does it take to make?" One of them asked.

"With all of the supplies and materials we have, I can safely say that it can be made at least once per six days. In the meantime we are waiting for reinforcements and daily rations and supplies to arrive." Everyone in the room was satisfied with the pace of their recovery from the latest assault and now it's time to plan an advance, to take the battle into the enemy. Once the matter was brought up Flame Princess was the only one to oppose as it wasn't the right time as it is and their proposal, which was to annihilate the kingdom, was against the kingdom's treaties. She knew that she can't win against the majority if she tackles this now so she needs to stall it and figure something out.

Moments after she adjourned the meeting, Phoebe the Princess of flames is resting on her quarters. It was the most tiring day of her life, with all the urgent needs of the army, constant watch for another enemy attack and now the possible insubordination of the officers. "If only Finn was here, I doubt my brother will be listening to him anyway, they might even go at it if worse comes to worse." She snickered at the idea of Finn and her brother bickering like children but it quickly faded into sadness as she remembers that even after all of this, the two of them can never go back. Tears started flowing from her eyes which she quickly wiped away.

"Sister, are you free?" Flame princess sat down on her bed and she let her brother in, she had her arms crossed along with a face that asks: 'What the hell are you up to!?' "Look I know that you have qualms with this plan, but I assure you, if we don't act now we won't have any other chance." "What makes you think that way?" she asked worriedly, the fact that her brother looked this desperate gives her the impression that what's happening as of this day is more than what she knows. "Time to confess brother." At this moment her brother knew that he couldn't escape this anymore, he cursed under his breath and he prepared for the worst.

"We saw some blueprints from the abandoned intel, and there we saw it. A weapon of mass destruction that is enough to destroy Ooo." "Is it operational?" "No, it will take them three months to complete and another two for it to fully functional." She was shocked, for the enemy to have an arsenal like that. It was worse than she imagined, "Thank you for being honest... I need time to think about this." The flame general excused himself leaving Flame Princess to ponder about the new threat she just learned. "How could they leave such an important detail?" She paced around her room trying to come up with a way to tackle the problem without spilling too much blood.

After almost two hours she's yet to crack the problem open, she had a few good ideas but upon pondering all of those were not viable. It was getting late and her body is starting to take its toll. She tried resisting sleep but in the end the comfortable sheets won her over. Inside the princesses' slumbering mind is a nightmare brewing, the fear of the unknown weapon and the destruction of everything she was entrusted with is slowly taking it's form. She opened her eyes into it, she was right in the middle of the rubble of what appears to be her kingdom, the fire kingdom was destroyed and is slowly sinking into the magma. It was a horrifying sight.

Flame Princess couldn't handle the pain, she closed her eyes and covers her face as she cries. But then she felt a change, she opens her eyes and it was a different place. She had never saw a place like it, it was desolate, the only thing different about it is that it wasn't as sorrowful as the nightmare she just saw. "How's my people Phoebe?" All of the pain was washed away instantly, she turned to see Bonnibel with a happy expression. She was so happy to see her friend that she almost forgot about the problem. "THE WHOLE OF OOO IS IN DANGER-" "I know, and it's time for us to talk and catch up." Bubblegum said as she assured her weary friend and heir.

The two worlds are currently facing threats of their own, back in the other worlds nightosphere Hunson Abadeer walked through a narrow hallway towards a sealed room. On the other side was a small container, an object housing the most horrific item he had come across. He stepped inside and took it; a voice rang through his head. "Only I and another entity from my world can use it." "I can finally get rid of this damned thing." He rushed back towards the main room where Marceline and other Finn was watching out for the giants that was already on the distance. "Dad!" Marceline yelled. Hunson opened his hand to reveal a ring which he made to house the object.

He went towards the unconscious Finn and puts the ring on his finger. "Time to wake up, boy." Finn's eyes opened instantly, startling Marceline and his mirror image. "Can you fight?" Other Finn asked. Finn tries to move but he fell on his knees, Althea rushed to help him and heal the damages on his body. All the while Primus held an orb of light on his hands and pushed it inside Finn's body suspending him in the air. "What was that!?" Marceline asked. "I gave him the same power Finn has. It'll be useful in the future." He answered with a smile. After a few seconds Finn's body descended back down and this time he landed on his feet.

At the exact same moment the rogue giants closed in on them. Finn clashed against both at the same time utilizing the ring's power extending the aura of his sword long enough to stop the enemies right on their spots. Finn was holding it back while the others attack from different directions, "Finish this!" Hunson shouted. Finn noticed the ring glowing white, he points it towards the giants and a blinding light forced everyone, even Finn, back. When it died down the giants returned to their original form and are disabled. The two Finns, Marceline, Hunson, Althea and Primus went towards the rubble. Later they were joined by Ethan who had a stern expression on his face. "What a wreck."

"I'm not going to keep these monsters in here you know." Hunson said angrily. "I do." Ethan said. He looked at Finn and was asked, "Who're you?" "I'm Althea's colleague, Finn you have the fragment inside that ring, do what you must." Finn looked at the ring in his finger which had no light emitting from it. "How do I do this." Finn asked to himself and suddenly a familiar voice came with darkness inside him. "I'll handle this one kid." Finn's body was controlled by the dark being inside him, the ring was engulfed with the power of the shadows and it created a pitch black cube which swallowed the two inactive giants whole leaving no trace of its existence.

Finn regained his senses and saw that everyone was looking towards him. "H-how did you-" "It doesn't matter, It's time for you to return. Althea here will make sure of it." She gladly nodded and places her hand on Finn's shoulder. "Ready?" She asked. "Yeah" "Wait!" Marceline stopped him and gave him a long embrace. "I know it's impossible and all but, please don't forget about me." Finn gave a good look on her face and he kissed her on her forehead and answered, "I won't." the held each other one last time and after that Finn and Althea went back to their world. Other Finn stood beside his friend and asked, "You'll be okay?" Marceline who was looking to where once Finn was standing with a smile said, "He made sure I'll be okay."

Hello it has been a while, I have been busy with life. I might have over extended by too much and I apologize. I don't know how often I can update and I won't give any assurances as my schedule as of late have been a fucked up ride. Again I apologize to all who were waiting for a while, one thing is for sure. However long it takes I will finish this story.

He23t: The story with the other world can be read my past work is all about that, I hope you'll enjoy this one too. Attackme: Help me out, which parts did you find confusing about? Thanks in advance. Miistbroken: It's great to see another reader of my first story reading the current one, apologies if you had been waiting. Pvt. Dom: Here you go dude, I'll work on the next one as soon as I can.

That is all for today, I'd also like to point out the third person only perspective. I felt that switching left and right might be confusing in terms of the reader and I decided to place in transitions instead of abruptly changing the scenes to avoid dissociating in the middle of reading the story. Tell me if this new layout is better or I should go back. All your suggestions can help. One last time, I apologize. I hope you all had a good time reading this chapter, I need to go for now. I'll be back soon...
