Guys, sorry for not updating for a long time! Writers block -.-. I hope this chapter wouldn't appear to be hurried. And guys, I just realized that we're nearing to the end. Ah, I don't want it to end but it still has to :( Thankyou for the timeless support that you guys have given me, for the encouragements and reviews, for the favorites and alerts, thank you everybody. I wouldn't forget the way you guys made me feel so glad :).

Guys, our 3rd final exams are next week, and then, we would probably start practicing for our Junior and Senior Prom (which sucks cause in our school, if you're a junior, you have to have a senior partner, and our partners would be based on by height so -.- I hope my partner wouldn't view me as a super fat and ugly girl cause I am -.-) That would make me update much more slower than before :(

CHAPTER 40 Escape part 1

"Dobby" Draco pronounced the elf's name, feeling bitter as his pleasant childhood memories came bursting inside his thoughts. The elf fidgets but turned his small head to look at Draco. "Dobby must not have orders from the Malfoy's. Dobby is a free elf!" the elf squeaked, lowering his green eyes as Draco taps his fingers with annoyance. "You are not here to obey any kind of order. It's for your new master, Harry Potter. It's for his friend" he said Harry's name bitterly with hate obvious in his eyes. With his annoyance, the elf's ears wiggle slightly;upon hearing the good man's name. Dobby looked right at Draco's eyes, his disgust from his old master clearly forgotten.

"A friend of Harry Potter is a friend of mine sir" Draco rolled his eyes with a trademark sneer on his lips. He was certainly annoyed with how his used to be only-friend-in-the-world was taken yet again by Harry saint Potter, but as he thinks about it, he asks himself bitterly: What's new?

Yet, it's not about him right now, it's not about his own pride, this is all about Luna and Clementine. He can set aside every pride that runs inside his body, just for them. Just for their safety.

"I need you follow Potter around, make sure that he would be going here. There are prisoners inside the cellar. They need to be rescued" he taps his fingers to the arm of his green and silver colored sofa, concentrating to his fingers as he feels the elf's eyes roaming the surroundings. "It might take a while Mr. Draco sir, but Dobby will surely help Harry Potter's friends!" the elf's voice was rushed, making Draco know that he was excited. "Just don't let Potter see you" Draco interrupted his excitement with a bored tone. To tell anyone the truth, he was nervous for what may happen. Sure, Harry Potter might be the hero of their world, but he was not sure if that title can help him make Luna safe. Draco just needs her to be alive, to be warm, to be safe.

"You have my word Mr. Draco sir"

"Oh and Dobby, thankyou"

It has been three months since that strange meeting, and now, Draco was starting to lose his hope. The dark lord was planning to attack Hogwarts, and in any seconds the thought of Luna or Clementine having the highest chance of getting killed was making his heart jump. It was all too much for him.

Luna's father had made a smart move; gone back to his old theories again. And the dark lord was pleased, he was happy enough that he leave Luna alone. But then, every second that he would spend is filled with unplanned surprises, and that thought made him even more nervous.

"Draco" he heard his father's voice echoing through the thick walls of his chamber. With a frown on his face, he stood up from his bed and walked out from his room. His throat clenched right inside his body, below him, just a staircase away stood Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, and no doubt, Harry Potter- who is wearing some enchantment to hide his true self.

Sooner that he meant it to be, he was next to his father. Lucius leaned closer to his ear, raising his hand and rested it to the back of Draco's neck. He almost cringed from the sudden touch, but eventually calmed himself and stared right at the captured duo.

Hermione's eyes darted to his and he felt 'almost' guilty. He knows what will happen to her, and especially to Harry. In the eyes of the dark lord, muggles are animals.

"Is this the famous Harry Potter?" his father's voice was gentle and questioning but nothing can stop the rising panic that was building in. He turned his eyes again to Harry Potter, feeling the hateful vibe right from the pores of the green-eyed boy's skin.

He thought about giving them up, to actually act heartless and cold. In truth, he really was a coward. He would just give them up and all is done. They would win. His skin would be safe, and so is his Mum's and his father's.

"Is this Potter?" his father asked again, he turned to look at him and found himself looking at his father's pair of nervous eyes. He knows he would. He was a coward and so was his father. Yet, as he turned his eyes again to Harry Potter, his eyes weren't looking back at the green pair, instead they were light blue, just like Luna's.

Then he remembered her. Her kindness and her warmth. He longed to feel them. Ever since that day when he promised her that their kiss wouldn't got to be their last, he started avoiding her, only visiting as he was sure that she was already asleep; stroking her cheeks and whispering promises to her ear as if she could hear them. He knows that she understands, she always does. She had already know that he would leave, or she would leave, but as long as Clementine's going to be safe, everything will hopefully be alright.

And here, Harry Potter was standing right infront of him. The chosen one that Luna believes would save their world. He could hear her words, humming things that have the words 'believe' and 'miracles'. He admires how she can be so hopeful. How even if she was inside the dark cellar with a baby inside her tummy, she can still be able to believe that the chosen one would save her, and also, could save him.

"I-I'm not sure"

"Look closer Draco, you can see that he is! Draco, if we are the ones that would hand Potter to the dark lord, all is forgiven-" his father rolls up his left arm sleeve and raised his finger to summon the dark lord.

"Lucius! What are you doing?" his father turned his head to his side, returning his bored and cold expression as he had heard Bellatrix's screeches. "We would all perish if the dark lord comes now!" she explained to her brother-in-law, staring wildly to Lucius as if she wants to convince him.

"Where did you get that?" she whispered, shocked as she saw Gryffindor's sword inside the hands of one of the masked snatchers. Instead of answering her, the snatchers laughed in unison, disbelieved that the powerful Bellatrix LeStrange would ever have any kind of interest to the sword.

"Fools! How dare you disrespect me?" she yelled, raising her wand and muttered a stunning spell under her breath. It all happened so fast that nobody even dared to blink by the event that had just happened.

"Greyback! Put all of these prisoners inside the guest floor, and leave this little muggle to me"

She rests her hand to the nine month belly underneath her chest. She kept on hoping that she wouldn't be going to have her labor soon, but as the days grow old, she knows that it would be soon.

She was startled when she heard the dungeon door open. It woke her senses as she crawled far from the light, wincing as the sudden action caused her lower abdomen to beat in annoyance, but she ignored it, she was too afraid that a death eater could find her there with her obvious pregnant bump.

"Are you alright Luna?" she had almost jumped when she felt a cold finger touch his bare arm. It had been too long since she last had someone to have physical contact to her; and she was kind of hoping that it would be Draco's, but she knows that he wouldn't. Even if he wouldn't say it right to her face, she knows that he was doing something just for them to be kept alive, and besides, it was Dean's. "Yes, she's just surprised with the movement" she answered, reassuring Dean as she can feel that he really was worried.

A few seconds passed by and Luna could hear a woman's screaming voice right at the top of their ceilings. She furrowed her eyebrows and closes her eyes, trying to stop thinking about her friends and their panicked faces.

"Mr. Ollivander? Griphook?" her eyes opened automatically and she raises herself up. The voice was too familiar.

"Harry!" She didn't need any second thoughts, she brisk walked right to the dark haired boy and surprised him with a hug.

"Luna?-" As soon as Harry had released her from him, his eyes went from gentle, to shocked. She tilted her head. At first, she doesn't have a single clue on what was happening, but then as she followed his gaze, she found him staring right at her tummy.

"If it wasn't for your coward of a father, Hermione wouldn't be tortured by that wrecked lady!-" Instead of responding to Harry, she turned her head to face Ron, who was red in anger. She gasped, covering her mouth with her hand at the shock of knowing what was happening to her friend. Harry went right to her side, squeezing her shoulder to comfort her.

"Shut up Ron, can't you see that Luna has her fair share of suffering?-" the redhead turned to look at what Harry is implying. He casted his eyes downwards and stops searching once he was on her tummy "-She is with child. Can you imagine how hard it is to be in here, not knowing if the baby would live or not?" Ron didn't respond, he only stared dumbfounded to at Luna, who has her mind to Hermione.

"Poor Hermione" she said with worry in her tone, closing her eyes as a whimper of pain can be heard

"We will be alright Luna"
