I must warn you, this is full of fluff so.. yeah, please be a dear and leave a review?

PS: In the previous chapter, if you have already read it, I changed the "room" to "the balcony" in that part where Luna heard Draco and Clementine's voices.

Also, in the first part, it is in Draco's point of view, we will see what happened before Luna had heard him-courtesy of the last bits in the prev chapter.

Chapter 55- Cosmic Eyes

It was almost morning, four thirty if asked. The peacocks have already craned their graceful necks in the green scenery, but still, the whole manor is still as dark as his suit. He had apparated himself inside, shrugging off the shivers that traveled through his spine. Even without the darkness of the night, the bad memories inked their way deep into the roots of their manor, living with them through whispers and crime scenes.

Since when did a home become such a prison?

The whole manor is deadly quiet, almost appearing abandoned. Where is his parents anyway? Weren't they supposed to be awaiting for his return?

He lighten up a lumos as he faced the hallway. The light pressured against the darkness the walls provided to the manor. From the harsh glow against dark painting, the portraits hanging unto them shivered, hands rearranging up to shield their eyes. He sighed heavily. If he had time, he could just enter from the south ward-where the huge garden is, or from the secret passage he installed in the kitchen, just to avoid this part of the manor. But no, he completely thought they wouldn't annoy him this time. They had already stayed silent during the times their manor became an evacuation center for the death eaters, avoiding anyone as possible, but apparently, they are really experts with withholding information.

"Can you make yourself useful and turn that down?"

"For Merlin's sake, when will I ever have my peace in this family?"

He rolled his eyes, casting his eyes directed to the two pathways at the end of the hall. Why did he ever agree on keeping them to the passage? If he could ever turn back time, he would gladly pinch his five year old self on the cheek, warn him that making father proud would make him have a lifetime full of torment with these obnoxious ancestors.

"About time you showed up Draco!. My goodness! that blonde loony ditz kept me awake! Where did you get that scum from? How could she even have the nerves to answer me- Look at me!" Emilia Malfoy spatted, her gray eyes throwing him her best narrowing and judging glare. The old woman in the portrait is the most annoying of them all. She never fails to make Draco's blood boil dangerously in his head. If she is the master of one thing, it is to criticize a person with just a judging glance from head to toe.

He tightened his grip on his wand. Her statement made him stop.

Although it was remarkably known that she hated her daughter in law, Narcissa, she has never called her a loony bin, or a ditz for that matter. She often stated that she's too shallow, too boring. Lucius once said that she was just jealous that Narcissa was more presentable that she ever was when she married Lucius. But it is quite hard to tell because she's just as 'charming' as that.

"We have a guest?" he asked, his tone deflating at the end.

His ancestors eyed him with their fair brows raised, no doubt, questioning the said visitor's reasoning for entering their lovely home. His insides squirmed in agitation, his heart pumping erratically inside his chest. He feels excited and nervous as his gladness overcome the questioning glares that he is receiving.

"Apparently my dear grandchild, she is with your daughter. No need to take a second look to tell that she is indeed a Malfoy of blood" Abraxas interfered just when Emilia was about to make a scratchy remark. Draco really likes his grandfather, he is a bit more expressive than his father and much more accommodating than any of his ancestors. Merlin knows what it feels like to be a part of the hall with only these dead snotty people as company, it must be really, really tiring. "Thankyou grandfather, good luck with keeping up with them"

"Abraxas, what does that suppose to mean? Draco Lucius Malfoy, come back here and apologize! You ungrateful child! Draco-"

He jogged his way into the east side of the manor, ignoring Emilia's persistent cries- he have something more important to attend to.

The journey to the east tower was faster than how he wished it would be. On the slightly opened Slytherin green door, there was a glint of light between it and the door frame.

He opened the door silently as how his heart thumps loudly inside his chest.

Stepping inside, two figures moved in their sleeping state.

The soft moonlight shines through the transparent door of his balcony, Luna's blonde locks and thick eyelashes illuminate from the glow. Draco moved towards her, his lips quivering as the relief finally registered itself inside. He touches her cheek with his thumb, clearing the moist of cold tears from her soft skin. Seeing her inside his bed with a familiar shirt hugging her frame, his heart ache for what could've happened if he had failed.

He glanced to the figure sleeping soundly next to Luna, giving her a smile of relief. He leaned in towards the infant's forehead, his lips touching her warm skin affectionately. When his lips pressed a peck unto her skin, Clementine frowned her light eyebrows and opened her eyes with just a duration of a blink.

His eyes met the same light blue pair.

The world felt like it had stopped moving. Sounds and soft breathing turned mute.

Clementine raised her tiny arms up to him, soft blabbers came erupting from her chest. Draco stretched his arms outward, and the baby eagerly clutched his thumb. The act alone made a hot tear fall from one of his unblinking eyes, immediately, as if the curse has been lifted, his arms went to a fast rate. His arms brought the infant close to his chest, wrapping one of his arms around Clementine as he cradle her.

"I'm here, love. I'm here"

Luna was left dazed upon the floor, her eyes as wide as saucers. The silhouette behind the transparent balcony door moved, showing the back of a lean man with silvery blond hair. It felt too surreal-well, she already hoped this would happen, but still, it caught her off-guard.

"Draco" she whispered, her voice was rusty and silent. She knows too well that it is him, oh Merlin knows how she spends her days thinking about that man and his every detail. He looks like how she last saw him, out there laying still on the grounds of Hogwarts, yet thankfully, standing outside the balcony, he looks pale but alive. Breathing.

She stood up from her spot, her smile finding it's way on her lips. Pure joy and happiness wash over her, the worry that she had was long forgotten.

"I told you I'll be back didn't I, Clementine? Why on earth did you make your mum tired for?" She stepped on the cold marble floor of the balcony, clutching tightly at the arch frame, just a meter away from the father and daughter.

Luna stared contently as she watches Draco's back with his arms wrapped around his daughter. He bounces her from foot to foot, whispering silly stories with an even more silly voice to the happy child, completely unaware of her presence behind them. At this scene, Luna accidentally registered a thought in her mind, and to that, she blushes ever so slightly. What would happen to them?. Knowing that they have survived the battle and got their hopes granted, what would be the standing of their relationship?

She certainly doesn't mind being with Draco until the end of her lifetime, but maybe, without the worry that came from the battle and a freedom that she would certainly give him if he wanted to leave, will he stay with her?

"She's the mother of my great grandchild? Oh Draco, such a poor, poor pathetic boy, must've got his eyes blinded. Merlin knows how strong the love potion this wench must've dripped in his cup!" Luna stopped mid skip, her eyes trailing to the owner of the shrieking voice.

"Oh hullo there, you must be talking about me. Well, I'm Luna. Luna Lovegood. And this one is my daughter, Clementine. I believe we haven't met" she shrugged the insult off, giving the painting her usual smile.

"Unbelievable! A Lovegood? The dimwits? the insane ones? they will taint the Malfoy name! Brand it with scum and dirt! People will laugh about our family thanks to your grandchild Abraxas! Society will paint us with insults and discrimination! Why did Lucius allowed this wench in? Why did he allow this.. this destruction to happen! Our bloodline will soon be a laughingstock once that child will grow!" Luna stared emotionless to Emilia Malfoy's portrait, she watches her as the blonde elder points and prods at her with so much anger inside her eyes and the others, save from the brilliant Abraxas Malfoy, glares at her with their eyebrows raised and lips formed into a sneer. Commonly, she wouldn't mind when people calls her stuff, make fun of her for all she cares! But tonight, there's something inside her words that struck a cord in her strings. She couldn't bare it when people makes fun of her father, mother, daughter, friends, and Draco. Tonight, this blood relative of the one she loves aimed her pressure points.

"Mother, she is pure of blood and is actually beautiful-"

"It is alright if you call me names, I've seemed to be born with that. But you're actually wrong to all of them. Well, we must rest now or else the wrackspurts would land on our heads! Good night everyone!"

"You will never belong in this family child. My great grandchild deserves so much better. Maybe, he's better off dead."

She knows deep down that she doesn't have to think like that. Knowing how many times he had already told her that he loves her, she should ignore Emilia Malfoy's words, but still, even if she has mastered the art of never letting anybody bring her down, she cannot help but to accept and agree.

'And well, maybe..'

She glanced up to him as she shrugged Emilia off of her mind. Might as well focus on her happiness and think about it later.

"Yes, yes you did Draco" Her words floated like melodies played in the night time. He spun round, automatically turning his clutch tighter, which made Clementine snuggle closer to his chest.

"Luna" he called her, his voice echoing the happiness that he feels within. Her eyes interlocked with his in a heartbeat, a small smile plastered on her heart shaped face. She is drawing closer, her feet are light as though she is being carried by wind. He stood hypnotized as his mouth is slightly open, drinking in her sight as it felt like it was such a long time since he saw her being mobile.

The soft light draws upon her figure and she looks so magical in it. He loves how she can make him feel different kinds of surreal emotions that he himself would selfishly fight for until death. His shirt is too big for her, yet it fits her perfectly. Infact, he loves the way she looked when she had snuggled up in it, immobile. And loves the way it looks on her as it shows her collarbones and as it ends above her pale knees, dreamily awake. Her hair was tousled wildly, cascading down her back, showing off her pale neck. Her eyes, her blue warm ones are haunting, they are as blue as how the sky of the night and sun could almost meet. Oh, he loves them, they are the ones that started it all. Those strange and beautiful orbs. They drew him in.

Luna Lovegood is indeed an art, and she is just so peculiarly beautiful.

"Did you missed me?" He leaned in towards her face, his lips curled to a smile that Luna once said reminded her of a cheshire cat from a muggle book. And he had replied that he surely do not resemble a cat.

"I knew you would come back-" Luna pulled Clementine out from his chest, snuggling the baby to her own one. She smiled at him quite brightly, but in her eyes, a small flicker of fear and sadness sprung out without the intention. Turning around to avoid his gaze, Luna knew that she could not possibly hide anything from Draco Malfoy. He has known all of her, she let him read her like an open book.

Draco sensed what she would want to do and mumbled a spell- in which he made an armchair into a crib. He followed her as she laid Clementine on the center of the makeshift craft, sneaking a glance to the sides of his eyes as she tidied down silently. "-but I still missed you Draco. We both did." She spun and sat on the edge of the bed, her eyes shining with happiness and excitement. Draco kneeled down in front of her, his eyes never leaving hers. He wonders what has been running inside her curious thoughts that she feels the need to cover from him. Luna is not one for those dishonest kinds of women, she is as honest as a small child. Innocent and blunt.

"I must say, you totally pulled that shirt off Luna" He watches her boldly, his eyes never missing a heartbeat. She chuckled, the familiarity tugged her heartstrings as she never truly realized how hard she really craved and missed him until now, as his scent smothered her with delicious caresses.

"Did you-" She brought her eyes to his, her heart tugging erratically as she felt the worry and anxiety well up on her. 'Why did you let him kill you?'

'Do you want to leave?'

'So badly?'

"-missed me?" the last word dropped as it sounded like it was a whisper from the wind, Her eyes left open as they stare unto his, light eyebrows furrowed down as it fought to weep. Why did he made her ache that much, why did she let cruel words haunt her like this?.

He opened his mouth but found it silent. This is the first time he would ever see her so broken, insecure. He cursed himself inwardly, he may not know what he has done but he knows too well he is the reason for this.

"You can go Draco, I will not stop you"

'Do you want to leave?'

'So badly?'

'Shit'

His eyes widen and she shivered from holding her tear back. He tilted her head to his, leaning his lips on hers as he inhaled her sad sobs away. He never really thought about how his death would make her feel, and he hates himself for that.

And basically.. no doubt,

'-that blonde loony ditz kept me awake! Where did you get that scum from?-'

"Did she-" He laid her gently to the mattress behind, her head a few inches from the pillows. "I'm so sorry" He whispered against her lips, his hot breath against her mouth as she bit her lip to prevent herself from a huge sob. "You are so beautiful" He leaned his lips upon hers, quite carefully, as he planted a deep chaste kiss. Her quivering hands snaked at the base of his neck, tracing shapes upon his bare skin and he shivered in response.

"I'm so sorry" he removed himself from his lips as he eyebrows frowned, his eyes meeting hers. Her watery eyes reached unto his, smiling once again to his honest thoughts. "I'm sorry" he whispered to the wind, and the wind brought his words and passed it to her ear.

"Don't be" her soothing voice replied. "Well, don't miss this chance Luna. It's quite rare for a Malfoy to apologize" he buried himself to the base of her neck, his breathing hot against her cold skin.

"I missed you alot" her skin shivered on his sultry voice

"hum"

She brought her fingers to the crown of his head, twirling his silvery blond strands with eyes staring half lidded to the ceiling. She looks peaceful, even more so tonight. Merlin knows how he could've survived throughout sixth and seventh year without her. Damn Emilia Malfoy, she doesn't know how Luna is so much more of a witch than she could ever be.

"When I was in that some sort of dimension, I almost lost it, almost letting it drown me" her twirling stopped for a second, but her breathing continued normally. He sighed and closed his eyes, inhaling her scent. "I thought you're better off without me. The both of you"

"Nonsense Draco-"

"But I'm too selfish and possessive Luna, you know that"

"That's quite right" she chuckled wholeheartedly, and he smiled, his heart letting go of the tight strings of worry "You know, besides from Zabini, I saw you in there for the whole time. You and Clementine are my worst fear to lose and my greatest gain. You got me face my walls and you are also my key. I almost drowned there, let it consume me for all I care but-" he climbed atop of her, caging her inside his arms and she stared, watching silently. "-your mind filled with adventures and wisdom" he laid a kiss on her forehead "your eyes, as wide as the galaxy" then, he leaned unto her eyelids, planting a peck unto them. "your button nose as pointed as mine" next was the tip of her nose "and your lips as beautiful as the rest of you kept me from letting go. What have you done to me Luna Lovegood?"

Her gaze searched inside his eyes, seeing the most true color of light blue in them. She felt his heart tugging against her chest, and it is beating quite fast. Infact, it is as fast as how hers is currently functioning. Then, she came to the realization that they both have something that they've planted on each other, both puzzle pieces that snuggled quite contently into one another. Why should she worry? Why on earth would anyone's opinion ever matter? Draco Malfoy loves her, and it seems certain that he does not care whatever they would think. Infact, fair is fair.

"Merlin knows what have I done to deserve you" He's trying to sweet talk her then. She smiled, wrapping her legs around his waist to bring him closer.

"Merlin knows what have I done to deserve you too"

"You've must've did something drastically wrong then, you've been given a lifetime being stuck with the cockroach that is Draco Malfoy"

"Cockcroaches can be beautiful" Luna felt Draco roll his eyes on her neck and she smirked in response.

"Can you just kiss me Draco?"

"Of course"

Clarification: I end it up having the implication whether they did the deed didn't I? Well, that's up to you, but it's quite weird since there's a baby... but again, it's up to you.

On the lighter note, I do hope they're not out of their characters

Anywho, please leave a review behind, I'm quite desperate for them.

Thankyou so much for the support you guys!
