I'm so sorry that it took me this long to update, college was just hectic this year and what not. This story will be finished!

Forgotten Memories
Chapter 9: The Fight

Nami felt her blood go cold at the familiarity of the voice. Though she couldn't for the life of her pictured who it belonged to. Against her better judgement Nami turned around slowly to get a better look at the man. Her eyes widened, she remembered him even though she couldn't tell what he looked like since his face was covered by a mask.

He was the one who attacked her. From what memories were coming back to her, the Heart pirates did something to him and he was pissed. She remembered the pain she felt in her head before she passed out.

"Seems like you remember me little one," he said. His voice was deep and heavy.

Nami pulled out her Clima-Tact and took a defense stance.

The man chuckled. "You can't beat me."

"What do you want?" Nami hissed.

"Oh nothing," he started walking towards her. "You're the ones who came after me." The masked man stood before her, "apparently they don't like what I did to you."

It suddenly hit Nami, why Law wanted her to stay on the submarine. He could have said something to her, not that it would have made any difference to the navigator but she would've been more careful.

He puts his hand under her chin and tilts her head up so he's looking into her eyes. "You're such a pretty little thing," he whispered to her.

Nami was about strike back when she felt herself being pulled back "Don't touch her," Law said angrily.

Nami gazed at Law. His arm had wrapped around her waist in a familiar way and she suddenly got an overwhelming feeling that this had happened before. Then suddenly and all at once images of her forgotten memories flashed before her.

Flashback

Law was moving closer to her. She stepped back. "We're from different crews," she said

"And?" His voice sounded unconvinced and that didn't stop him from stepping closer to her.

"Sanji-kun will kill you."

"I can take of myself."

"You're like six years older than me." Nami said and she moved away from him again before her back hit the wall.

Law stopped in front of her. "If it bothered you that much you would believe in your own excuses."

"I-" Law interrupted her by tilting her face towards his and kissing her.

End Flashback

Nami fell to her knees... What the hell was that? Her and Law? Nami found it hard to believe but it did make sense. Nami admitted he was good looking and he knew about her nightmare about Arlong. She wouldn't have told that to just anybody.

"Room." A ring of a light blue aura formed. As Law said that as the man threw what looked like a small grande towards him but instead of exploding it released a powder that made Law stumbled and the 'room' he created disappeared.

The man ran towards Law and attacked him, causing Law to fall backwards. The man went to stab him with his sword but Law blocked him and pushed him back to get some distance between him and his enemy.

Law tried to run out of the cloud of powder but the man came back. Law was still weak and he needed time to regain his strength. The man managed to knock Law over while he was weak and kicked away Kikoku away and out of the doctors reach. He straddled Law keeping him from moving and went to stab him in the neck with his blade.

Law managed to wriggle his arms free just in time and blocked the oncoming attack with his hands. But in his weakened state he wouldn't be able to stop the blade for long. What ever was in the powder made him weak and the mask that the man was wearing prevented it from affecting him.

Nami watched what was happening in front of her and started to panic. Law was on the defensive, barely managing to keep up with the mans attacks and he was weakling. If only the powder would disappear she kept thinking to herself.

'Of course!' she thought and reached into her back pocket and reached for her weapon. She joined together the 'heat pole' and 'cool pole' into an x shape with ease. She attached the x-shape on top of the 'electric pole' and yelled out, "Cyclone Tempo!"

She swung the now staff back like a bat and the x-shape separated from the staff and and spun towards the masked man with tremendous speed. He tired to dodge it but it was to fast and it hit him with force. As soon as it did the hot and cold airs collided and it created a massive wind that not only knocked the masked man over but also blew away the sea stone powder

The cloud of sea stone powder began to blow away and in the confusion Law kicked the man off of him and regained his composure. He could already feel his strength returning to him.

He grabbed his sword and said "room," and the surrounding area was once again filled with a light blue ring. The man tried to throw another sea stone grande but Nami was able to blow the grande away and away from Law before it exploded.

"Shambles," Law says with a slight motion of his finger and the man was disarmed from all his weapons. Law lifted his over-sized blade and cut and cut the man into pieces.

Nami walked up to Law and grinned at Law. "And you said you'd never need my help in a fight."

Law turned towards her and stared blankly at her. "You remember?"
