It had only been one and a half weeks since InuTaisho had been banished, yet, already he could witness her hatred. His mate was a damned angel compared to this mortal woman. Izayoi complained wearily as the two finally exited the western domains, "Where in the HELL are we going!?" Releasing a breath, the great dog demon had never felt so humiliated by his own pups before and this mortal was even worse. Turning his head, InuTaisho gave a smile, "We are out of the western domain now. Now, we are in the north."

He now had to wonder as to whom took over his rule and stature. Were his lands still prospering peacefully? Were the villages receiving enough medicine and food? Was all of his work within his office being completed? Were visits of well-fare still being made to mortal and demon villages? He couldn't answer any of these questions as he came to a stop.

Izayoi could only think now. InuTaisho had a one moon cycle banishment. If she played her cards correctly, then the castle would become her home and she would become the new lady of the west. Her child, however, would most definitely become the true heir to the western domain. Smiling lovingly, Izayoi had to ask, "So, where shall we build our home, my love?" Lifting a single dainty silver brow, Inutaisho then hummed, "I figured by the beach would be the best. In fact, we are almost there."

Clasping her hands together happily, she then smiled brightly, "Wonderful!" 'His bewitching potion seems to be wearing off and I had no time to collect any of my things before we were kicked out by that celestial BITCH! Soon, he will not be infatuated by me any longer and that will just not do! He cannot have eyes for that wife... or did he call them mates...? No matter, the point is that he will only have eyes for me.'

Roughly six months pregnant, Izayoi looked like she was about to pop. From what InuTaisho had told her, full blooded demonic and celestial children were born within five moon cycles. Half breed children were born within seven moon cycles. While a full blooded human child took a rough nine moon cycles before being born into this world. Suddenly, Izayoi's head popped up the moment InuTaisho's voice rang out, "Here we are." The scenery was beautiful and she could only appreciate the venue at this point in time.

Remembering that she had seen some of the items that she had needed a short while back for her bewitching potion, she internally swore. The rest of the items were ironically on the beach. InuTaisho then nodded, "I am going to start getting wood for our home." Nodding at him, Izayoi then walked onto the beach and sifted through all of the shells until finding one that was pure black. Nodding her head, she then found a leech and internally grossed out before making her way back to the area that she needed to go.

Reaching the area, she picked some dandelions and ripped off a small portion of bark from a dead tree before heading back. On her way back, the banished princess found a pumice stone that she could use to grind all of her materials up with to make them either fine powder, or in the leech's case... a squished mess. Finding a finely sharpened stone, she then made her way back and hid all of the items.

While walking, she chanced by an old and long deserted home, yet called out if anyone was inside before entering. Everything she absolutely needed was here. There were knives, a cauldron, lots of kitchen ware, a bed, blankets, and even clothing. Walking back to where she had hidden her items, she grabbed all before making her way back to the abandoned home. There, she began her witchcraft. Not many people knew this about her and she rarely shared it, but Izayoi was a dark priestess and fully capable of using magic of her own.

Making what she needed, she found two cups and hastily made tea before pouring two cups and finding dried rose petals encased within a jar. That's when she figured it out... this had once been a home to another dark priestess. Opening the jar, she sprinkled the rose petals within the heated drink. She had to continuously remind herself that his drink was in her left hand so that she did not drink it instead.

By the time she returned, a home had already been made. It was small, but doable for the one month exile the two shared. InuTaisho then stood up from the roof wearing no kimono before wiping his brow and glancing down as Izayoi called out to him, "My love, I made some tea for you!" Smiling, the great dog demon nodded and jumped down from the roof as she then handed him the left cup of tea, "Drink up! I don't want the father of my child to feel too exhausted!" She chimed in a chipper tone, causing him to raise his delicate silver brow.

Simply shrugging at this point, InuTaisho then drank it all and froze in his place for a grand total of ten minutes straight before shaking his head abruptly and shuddering, "Whoa, where did you get THAT tea!? That was some GROSS stuff!" Izayoi chuckled softly, "I am so sorry, I am used to the servants at the mansion making it for me. Now we know I am pretty useless without any help around!"

Smiling at her gently, InuTaisho was now under the full effects of her potion once again. The best part... his mate, nor his children, would ever be able to sense that she had used a magical dark potion to gain the great and mighty dog demon's love and affection for five months once again.

"You must be tired, love," InuTaisho smiled lovingly towards Izayoi as she nodded gently. Lifting her into his strong arms, he then carried her inside the home and laid her very pregnant body down onto the bed that he had made. It was not an ideal bed in her opinion, but she supposed that it was better than nothing. Izayoi stared at the ceiling of her temporary home with a gentle frown crossing her face and the bewitched InuTaisho noticed this almost instantly before asking in a worried tone, "What ails you, my love?"

Shifting her gaze to InuTaisho, Izayoi shook her head slightly, "Oh, nothing... I was just thinking about how I finally got to meet your children and they instantly disapproved of me because I am a mortal. I had been so excited the moment you had told me that a celestial was living in your care and the moment I met her, yes, she was beautiful... but she had a very ominous aura around her that even I could sense." This news slightly troubled InuTaisho as he frowned deeply, "Kagome has been through a lot within her life... her biological father and step-mother abused her horribly, yet to make things worse... I had unintentionally harmed her once."

InuTaisho shifted so that he now sat down with his legs crossed, "I have betrayed her trust far too many times to count... yet, each and every time... she forgives me. I don't understand her, but at the same time I completely understand her logic. She doesn't want to be like her biological father and step-mother, so she taught herself to forgive rather quickly. I love her as if she were my very own pup. My best friend, Midoriko, had once told me of her child and after her mother passed, I could not find her child anywhere. However, one day, I happened upon her by chance and took her under my wing as her father." Izayoi nodded that she had heard him and sighed. Kagome was going to be her biggest obstacle by far.

Sango stood guard outside of the study and instantly stiffened up the moment she heard the supreme deity yelling, "ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME!?" Kagome roared as she sat behind InuTaisho's desk. Ikari and her had now formally mated, with the guidance of Sesshomaru as he watched, and she now held two mates. She absolutely hated feeling both of their desires at the same time and it was becoming rather tiresome. Suddenly, a fully grown Inuyasha ran through the door and sweat dropped the moment he witnessed the celestial throwing a few papers down, only thinking, 'Man, she definitely inherited father's bad temper whenever it comes to work related issues...'

Heaving like a madman, she then shifted her duo colored gaze towards Inuyasha, "Yes, Inuyasha?" - 'She's quick to reel in her temper too, just like father. Sheesh...' - "You okay there sis?" Blowing her bangs up, again, just like InuTaisho, had Inuyasha on the brink of a hysterical laughing fit. The celestial queen nodded and huffed heavily, "It's YOU!"

The comment had Inuyasha blinking rapidly, "Huh? What about me?" The ruling angel then motioned for him to come near her and he did so without complaint. Kagome then allowed her index finger to begin glowing before pressing it to Inuyasha's crescent moon, causing his crest to gain a silver lining. 'Oh good, I was right... this time...' Kagome thought almost nervously before nodding, "Use all of the celestial force I have just given you in one shot."

Inuyasha had felt her celestial force before and had also watched his brothers using it as well when needed, so he knew what the feeling was like. His full potential awakened at that point, he swiftly used all of the celestial force within his body before she pressed her finger to his crest once again. A flash of bright blue ran over his orbs, "Ah... the water deity..." The angel muttered loud enough for him to hear as she watched his crescent moon change to a soft blue faded into an extremely bright blue.

Turning him around, she then pressed a single palm between his soft blue faded into a bright blue angel wing tattoos across his shoulder blades, only for the same coloration of wings to appear before they opened up by themselves and without warning took off, only to slam into a bookcase. The leader of the deities was now hysterically laughing on the ground as Inuyasha pulled his face from the shelf, "Sis, what do you mean the Water Deity?"

Nodding her head at his question, the angel of light then replied, "You are now, Inuyasha of Water. Not only are you now my personal guard, but you now have your own task. I only noticed because of the fact that you are constantly trying to pacify your older twin brothers when they are at each others throats. You've done the same for me before as well. Just like the oceans are calming, they can also have a violent property. You are the peace keeper that we have been waiting for. To keep the peace, you speak only the truth... yet lie when you must. However, when push comes to shove and a compromise cannot be made... putting my life in danger, your inner ocean will become a violent hurricane."

Inuyasha then gained a dry look as he spoke, "So, what you are telling me is that Inuyasha of Water's job is to attempt to make COMPROMISES!? I merely am there to see if a mind can be swayed into a different path?" Kagome then shook her head, "Not entirely. You see, people can be incredibly stubborn, yet your bonus attribute is what makes you a little more than dangerous. An ocean's tide is consistently changing."

Taking a gentle breath, the angel of light continued, "Just like how no one can ever lie to me within my presence without me being able to tell instantly and I am the best at healing all wounds, Sesshomaru can pass a verdict without him even having to think of one in the first place and can interrogate by suffocating others within his shadows, and Ikari can take that verdict and decide whether that person should live or die and can also burn people alive. Your attribute is slightly nerve wrecking."

Not understanding his sister at all, Inuyasha tilted his head slightly in curiosity as she gained a furrowed expression, "You, my brother and protector, are the one who can actually change a person's soul just by looking at it and changing its color, but the soul that you are attempting to change must be weaker than your own. If you witness a good person, you could turn them evil just because you wanted to. One catch though, you are incapable of changing any of the other supreme deities no matter how much you want to and when you are using this attribute with us, you must follow the correct order. The only one who can overrule that law and give you free reign... is me, but the price is hefty."

Snapping his head towards his sister, Inuyasha then threw his arms in the air, "SIS, I AM A SUPREME DEITY!" Chuckling softly, Kagome nodded only to look at a calendar she had made, "Yes, indeed you are. Now, your duty as a supreme begins right now. I must make my rounds to the villages within the west and you are to accompany me." Inuyasha then halted, "Hang on a sec, is this why Sesshomaru's and Ikari's true form look so different now? When I saw Sesshomaru turn into his true form the other day, I was shocked because he was not pure white anymore!"

Lifting a delicate brow, she then sighed heavily, "All of our true forms take on all of the attributes and abilities that we hold as a deity. I shimmer and sparkle like a diamond, Sesshomaru becomes surrounded by a black shadow aura and can even alter his fur color to black if he wanted, and Ikari becomes engulfed with the flames of hell and can turn his body red if he so desires. While I am only taking a guess, I will say that you will probably have corrosive acid-like water surrounding your body and if you wish not to harm, you will be able to absorb it so that your fur turns completely blue."

Inuyasha then nodded abruptly before Kagome shot out of her seat, "LET'S GO! NOW!" Jumping out of the window, her shimmering and sparkling wings then appeared as Inuyasha looked like a nervous wreck to jump from such a high position that would most definitely hurt should he hit the ground. The celestial then looked panicked, "Look at my wings and imagine them on your back. NOW JUMP OR I AM LEAVING YOU BEHIND!"

All of a sudden, a powerful surge to protect the angel of light washed over the water deity and he jumped out of the window, only for his oceanic colored wings to appear. Cracking a single orb open, he was shocked that he had his own set of angel wings and began to follow his leader. Catching up to her rather quickly, he then had to ask, "Kagome? Why were you in such a hurry to leave?" The only thing the angel did was motion her head back towards the window that they had jumped out of to notice Sesshomaru and Ikari not far behind.

"The first village is approaching quickly! Supreme deities, begin descending now!" All four began to lower until they had landed entirely and almost instantly, praise were being shot her way, "All pray to our supreme deity, Lady Kagome of Light!" All bowed their heads and clasped their hands together for prayer, making the light angel sweat drop slightly before clearing her throat, "All, please raise your heads, for I am unworthy of such praise."

The children of the mortal village all began to rush up to the light angel while giggling, "Lady Kagome, welcome back! You brought the fourth new supreme for us to meet!?" Kagome laughed tenderly and knelt down, knowing the children... especially the girls... loved her shimmering and sparkling wings as she replied, "But of course my darlings! Meet Inuyasha of Water!" The children all noticed his multi-shaded blue coloration of his wings and laughed, "Awesome!" One of the little girls' then ran up to Sesshomaru happily before bowing respectfully, "Welcome Lord Sesshomaru of Shadow!"

He didn't know why, but this little girl was adorable. Kneeling down, he smiled softly, "Hello Rin, it's wonderful to see you again. I hope you have been well." Rin then gave a giggle, "All of the western domains prosper due to the efforts of the supreme deities! We would be lost without you or Lady Kagome of Light! OH, and you as well Lord Ikari of Flames!"

Ikari was well aware that he was the most feared and hated amongst the normal folk who just wanted to live their lives within peace. He was also aware that he also was the main focus for most cult activity, thinking that if they were to sacrifice enough pups and beautiful women that they would live for all eternity within his good graces. He quickly put a stop to a cult each and every time, but that did not stop new ones popping up like stubborn weeds. Hell, there was even a cult BOOK written about him that his mate had forced him to read.

"Lady Kagome of Light, I do have troubling news for you... a cult has been terrorizing this village, stealing all of the newborn children and beautiful young lasses that we have," the village elder spoke out in unease, peaking her interest instantly, "A cult?" The village elder then nodded timidly, "Yes milady. Unfortunately, they are worshiping the supreme deity Ikari of Flames." Wrath instantly bubbled up inside of Ikari before hearing his mates voice, 'Calm yourself, mate...'

Sighing heavily, she then erected her body, "That is troubling indeed. However, Ikari is probably the sweetest one between all four of us! Not to mention he is my beta mate... whomever dares to sully his name shall feel the wrath of my light! ALL LINE UP AND DO NOT EVEN DARE ATTEMPT TO DECEIVE ME, BECAUSE IT IS NOT POSSIBLE!" One by one, cult members were caught red handed as they bowed down to Ikari and begged, "Lord of Flames, forgive us for not doing a better job in giving you more sacrifices!"

Ikari instantly stiffened and then lightly scowled, "Do you MORONS actually think that I need sacrifices to keep my celestial force or my demonic power strong!? If you are doing this to satisfy some DARK LORD, THEN THAT LORD IS NOT ME!" Kagome instantly rushed towards Ikari and placed a hand on his chest, "Mate... do not lead them to believe that you are evil incarnate..."

Sesshomaru then snickered softly due to the fact that HE was more evil than his twin brother and probably wouldn't give a damn if cults had been made to honor his presence before slaughtering them all. The light angel then turned her head and scowled at her alpha mate due to hearing his disturbing thoughts. A pulse then ran through Sesshomaru and Ikari alike, switching their roles before the light deity smirked, "Your wish has been granted then." Sesshomaru instantly scowled at his mate, "MATE! WHY IN THE HELL WOULD YOU CHANGE OUR STATUS!? THAT MAKES IKARI THE ALPHA MALE!"

Ignoring his outbursts, she then looked to Inuyasha, "It's showtime little brother." Inuyasha lifted his silver brows before completely understanding what she meant. Looking at all of the cult members, he witnessed the putrid colors of their black souls before remarking, "Ack! So gross! Their souls are as black as Sesshomaru's!" This made Kagome slap her hand over her mouth so that she did not laugh at her mate in public. One by one, the souls of each cult member were then changed to a peaceful state before they were then released.

Nodding at his handy work, Inuyasha smirked, "How'd I do there sis!?" Kagome then applauded her "younger" brother before rushing up to him and hugging him, "Marvelously done! Now, we need to rid the western territories of any and all cult activities. You up for the challenge?" The water deity then smirked, "Oh, you know it!" With that little tease done to her alpha and beta, she then switched their roles back to normal, "Don't worry Ikari, we plan to rid the west of any cults that reside within our boundaries. Besides, you have compassion and that is a rare and admirable trait within the deity of flames."

Nodding his head while a gentle smile, they then made sure all medicines and herbs were completely restocked and also made sure that there was enough food for the village to continue to live and prosper. Looking towards her alpha, beta, and little brother, she then nodded before turning her focus towards the boundless skies above her, "True forms everyone! If we want to be home by dinner, let's get this done fast!" All then nodded before all four took their true forms and left the prospering village.

The supreme deity of light now paced back and forth anxiously within the former ruler of the western domain's study. Today was the day that InuTaisho would be returning back to the castle and that made her a little more than paranoid. All too suddenly... she froze in place as she looked out of the window to see InuTaisho, Izayoi... and a half breed.

She didn't care so much that the child was a half breed because of the fact that he couldn't help as to how he came to be within this world. It was the fact that this woman... held dark sacred powers that made all of her feathers and hairs stand on high alert. Turning her head to the side, Kagome proceeded to silently call both of her mates and her little brother to her side. All appeared within the blink of an eye before approaching the light deity to see what she was witnessing. Inuyasha's eyes then widened, "K...Kagome...?" Turning her head to look at her distressed brother when he gulped harshly, he then proceeded, "I-I've never witnessed a soul as evil as this and there is fowl dark magic coming from father..."

Snapping her head back forward, Kagome then proceeded to jump out of the window before transforming right in front of the new family. Snarling, growling, and barking furiously at the scent she now picked up from InuTaisho. Her white fur shimmered and sparkled brilliantly as InuTaisho then proceeded to draw So'unga before yelling at her, "STAND DOWN, MAIDEN OF LIGHT!"

He hadn't even addressed Kagome by her name and that alarmed Sesshomaru, Ikari, and Inuyasha to no ends as they too then dropped from the windows to take on their true forms. InuTaisho snarled protectively as Izayoi sheltered the little boy that she now held within her arms. The great dog demon then yelled out something that they would never forget, "LORD OF THE SHADOWS, LORD OF THE FLAMES, LORD OF THE WATERS... STAND DOWN! NOW!" All four of the transformed deities snarled with a clear protest.

Sutekina was once again trying to find her four pups. They were NEVER where they should actually be! All of a sudden a massive surge pulsed through her mating mark and just as she turned around, the mother of the four pups then felt the incredible amounts of immense power and pressure within the air. Her pups... instantly darting towards the castle entrance, she then witnessed her four pups within their true form.

Just as Kagome had thought, Inuyasha's true form carried corrosive acid-like water that floated around his massive form. Yet what she did not expect was that the same water could be used offensively or defensively and could actually surround the entire group from impending danger if the need ever arose. Sutekina watched them with awe momentarily as they all snarled, growled, and barked viciously at, what she thought, was only one person. Narrowing her orbs, she then witnessed as to whom it was. It was her mate.

Rushing in front of InuTaisho, she then held her arms up, "KAGOME, SESSHOMARU, IKARI, INUYASHA; WHAT DO YOU FOUR THINK YOU ARE DOING!?" All four whined softly and nuzzled their mother tenderly before hearing InuTaisho speak clearly, "I would like to present the NEW Lady of the West and my son, InuWarui... the new heir to the Crescent Moon Clan." Inuyasha instantly internally sweat dropped, 'He's not very creative with names, is he... Bad dog... seriously?' Sesshomaru, Ikari, and Kagome all agreed at the same time, 'Agreed...'

Sutekina paled almost instantly and rushed to her mate before crying out, "What do you mean, mate!? Sesshomaru and Ikari are your heirs! While you've been gone, KAGOME has been filling your position within your office and the western lands have NEVER been so peaceful!"

InuTaisho narrowed his orbs dangerously before raising So'unga within the air and twisting it around within circles as the darkened mist like dragon appeared before them until Izayoi placed her hand against the great dog demon's arm and proclaimed, "My love, if you use that right here then our home will be completely destroyed..." Kagome then narrowed her duo colored orbs towards the dark priestess, "What is the move he is about to use named...?" Izayoi then looked at the leader of the deities in shock, "Excuse me? The Lady of the West does not need to answer to filth such as you!"

Sutekina then glared spitefully, "What have you done to my mate!?" All of the deities then flattened their ears to their skull as if they were the ones being yelled at as they whined softly. Izayoi then scowled and clenched her fists tightly, "He is no longer your MATE! He is now my HUSBAND!"

Growling softly, the true lady of the west then narrowed her golden orbs, "And what will you do the moment you die and leave MY true mate to live the rest of his life in solitude!?" Smirking at the demoness's words and saying nothing more, Sutekina then came to the conclusion that her and her darling pups would be much happier at her home that she usually went to when her and InuTaisho had an epic fight that had her children hiding within their rooms for a couple of days for the safety of their lives.

Snapping away, Sutekina then released a grumble, "Come on pups... let's go..." Kagome, Sesshomaru, Ikari, and Inuyasha then released a rather loud whine. As they all walked passed InuTaisho, Izayoi and InuWarui; Kagome, Sesshomaru, Ikari, and Inuyasha then snapped viciously towards the new lady of west along with the newborn pup. Transforming back into their humanoid forms, they instantly released an angered growl, "Just you wait..."

It was announced rather abruptly that their was a new Lady of the West, causing all three of the other lords of the north, east, and south to become rather shocked and angered. All servants and guards within the castle held a deep hatred for Izayoi and her half breed pup that honestly held NO rights to be the true heir to the west. All of the staff within the castle avoided her and her rapidly growing pup. One day, InuWarui entered the library and Zalta instantly scowled hatefully at the child before growling out, "What do YOU want!?"

InuWarui was a very timid and loving child, but he had never done anyone any wrong before, so he could not understand as to why they treated him in this manner. Nervously looking at the bookkeeper, Zalta, the half breed pup then looked down, "I-I was just wondering if I could have a book to read..." Zalta then scoffed, "A half breed child such as yourself will gain NOTHING from becoming as smart as Lord Sesshomaru, Lord Ikari, Lord Inuyasha, OR mostly, LADY KAGOME!" InuWarui then tilted his head as the puppy ears then twitched with interest, "Lord Sesshomaru, Lord Ikari, Lord Inuyasha, and Lady Kagome? Who are they?"

'IGNORANT FOOL!' Zalta mentally screamed, yet then devised a plan and smirked, "The Lord's are your half brothers and Lady Kagome is your half sister." InuWarui's golden orbs widened immensely and excitedly exclaimed, "I have brothers AND a sister!? Where are they!?" Just as Zalta was about to answer, Izayoi walked in to glare hatefully at the bookkeeper, "They died, InuWarui."

Zalta then watched as Izayoi picked her son up and began to walk away before the half breed heard his words, "Liar..." InuWarui then looked up at his mother with a questioning look, "Mother? Zalta said you were lying and HE doesn't lie! Where are my half brothers and sister!?" Izayoi then sighed heavily before setting her child down on the floor, "Go and ask your father where they are." Nodding his head, InuWarui then bolted towards his father's study before bursting through without knocking, "Father! I want to meet my half brothers and sister!"

InuTaisho had no idea in HELL how Kagome had kept things so damn peaceful while he had been away. Now that he was once again holding the title of ruler of the west, his prospering lands had gone straight to hell somehow. Letters upon letters were stacked up on his desk, begging for help. How had the maiden of light kept his lands so immaculate while he could not!?

The moment his son that appeared the age of ten rammed through his door, InuTaisho sighed heavily until hearing his child's demand. Looking down at his son that seemed so adamant about meeting his half brothers and sister, the ruler of the west sighed heavily, "Must you meet them, son?" InuWarui firmly nodded his head at his father, causing him to chuckle softly before standing. The exercise would do him some good, so he knelt down, "All right, then we had better get a move on." InuTaisho knew exactly where they were. They were at his former mate's castle for when she needed to get away.

Standing, InuTaisho then motioned with his head for his son to follow. Complying, the child then ran after his father to keep up with his long and graceful strides. As they walked, InuWarui talked about anything and everything he could think about. This did make the trip go a bit faster, yet, what alarmed him to no ends was that his child had aged progressively to now appeared as if he were a teenager. In InuTaisho's eyes, he looked to be about Inuyasha's age.

Daily life within Sutekina's castle was no different than it had been at the castle. As of now, Kagome stood outside wearing one of her workout outfits that were black with dark purple stripes with the bottoms secured at her knees. The sports bra matched perfectly with the sweatpants that she wore as she faced not just Sesshomaru, but Ikari and Inuyasha as well.

Sesshomaru bolted towards Kagome holding a smirk on his face, making her blush softly before jumping up onto his shoulder while blocking Ikari and Inuyasha's advance. 'BEHIND YOU, KAGOME!' A dark and sinister voice called out and she swiftly grasped her second blade that had called out to her and swiftly held it behind her to block Sesshomaru's attack on her. Upon arrival at Sutekina's castle, the celestial then asked for one of Sesshomaru's and Ikari's fangs, which they happily gave to their mate.

With both of their fangs, she then forged them together, instantly realizing that this was not nearly enough power to hold the spirit she was going to house inside its very chambers. She then received a fang from Inuyasha and allowed her own fangs to grow before she had Sesshomaru yank it out. With all four fangs, she would now be able to conceal this spirit that was actually more evil than the spirit that was confined to So'unga. The hilt was made from Inuyasha's and Ikari's fang, while the blade itself was made from Sesshomaru's fang. Her fang, however, transformed into the sparkling white jewel that would house the spirit.

All four fangs together kept the spirit confined to the blade as she then etched into the blade "Satsuriku"... or, "Slaughter". The demon of pure evil found the engraved words to be perfect for him as he spoke his praises for the angel. He had asked her as to why she had confined his spirit to the blade in the first place... the answer she gave was not the one he had thought she would have given.

She explained about InuTaisho's blade, So'unga, and that made him laugh darkly. 'Well now... that's not a name I have heard uttered for many moons now.' He explained with a wicked tongue and internally smirked, 'Very well, Kagome, I will grant you my power. By doing so, the inner beast you house within your body will become much more potent and boost all of your demonic attributes without tarnishing your pure light. Do make sure that I get to see So'unga though.' However, within the time spent with the sassy angel, the evil spirit found that he quite enjoyed her company.

Back-flipping off of Sesshomaru's shoulder, she then held both of her blades in front of her as sweat lightly dripped from her forehead. All were about to charge again, before all simply froze where they stood. They could sense HIM... InuTaisho. Satsuriku began to cackle immensely, 'It seems So'unga has come out to play!'

All snapped around to see not only InuTaisho, but a teenager with him that adorned puppy ears on the top of his head. Sheathing her swords, Kagome then held her hand up to pause the training session and all nodded before the angel snapped around and began to approach InuTaisho and the teenager that resembled that pup she had seen not only two years ago. Coming to a halt in front of him, Satsuriku instantly began to glow as it spoke to So'unga, 'Well, well, well... if it isn't So'unga. Would you like to tell your master how you once served under my command and are WEAKER than me!?'

So'unga instantly began to glow, 'HOW DID A CELESTIAL TAME THE LIKES OF YOU!?' Just as Satsuriku was about to reply, Kagome shot her hand back and grasped the hilt, effectively silencing the demonic spirit before she lowered her hand by her side gracefully. All she could do was stare at InuTaisho before giving a heavy sigh, "Is there something that the Supreme Deities or mother can help you with?"

InuTaisho knew her somehow... but couldn't place his finger on it. The only thing he remembered was his former mate calling the four her pups and that the leader of the Supreme Deities name was Kagome. Nodding his head, he glanced towards his teenaged son, "I have brought InuWarui because he wished to meet all of you." Nodding her head slowly, her eyes then widened immensely, "This is InuWarui!? That is not POSSIBLE!" Growling, her fingernails then grew in length before the corrosive poison began to drip from the tips.

Sniffing the air, that's when she caught the scent, "I see... a spell to speed your son's aging has been placed upon him. If not careful, he will die a QUICK death... my lord..." The moment the angel spoke the final two words, it sounded as if she were spewing them with the same corrosive poison that now dripped from her nails.

InuWarui watched, completely amazed at the leader of the Supreme Deities before leaning into his father and whispering, "Father, I wish to study her power. She may prove to be a valuable mate within the future." InuTaisho nodded slightly, but was quick to noticed that the angel already claimed two mates as her own and could not take on a third. Looking at his son, he then chuckled, "Then you will have to challenge both her alpha and beta mate for the honor, son." Kagome would hear no more of this and turned around, "If you are done scheming then I would like to get back to training."

Without letting either answer, the angel then turned around and quickly noticed that her hair was now being tightly grasped at hip length by the half breed before he scolded, "How dare you turn your back on my father!" Within the blink of the eye, she drew Satsuriku and sliced her hair off so that it now hung to her hips before appearing in front of InuWarui and holding the blade to his throat, "How dare I...? Yes, I definitely DO dare! You are nothing more than an insolent pup who should not even be at the age he is at now! The three other supreme deities fall under my command, as do the celestial, demon, and mortal races! KNOW YOUR PLACE!"

InuTaisho almost instantly drew So'unga, making Kagome grin as she gracefully spun around and slammed her blade against his with such a force that a massive shockwave of air swept through the entire area. InuTaisho gained a look of surprise and shock that she so easily countered his most powerful sword with one that was ALMOST identical to his. Growling at the celestial being as she began to push him back with ease, he then spoke through gritted teeth, "What sword do you carry that is so much stronger than So'unga!?"

Oh, this was a golden opportunity as she told her fellow supreme deities her plan silently, causing them to bow respectfully before taking a seat. Not even Sesshomaru or Ikari dared to touch Satsuriku, for he only answered to one master alone. The angelic being swiftly swiped So'unga and subdued his spirit before placing Satsuriku within InuTaisho's hands.

Instantly, the sword pulsed angrily and began to leak corrosive poison onto InuTaisho's hands. Satsuriku knew that InuTaisho had a resistance to his mistress's corrosive poison, yet what it was doing... was burning the dark priestess's spell out of his body. Finally gone, InuTaisho dropped the blade and groaned before his head snapped up, "DAMMIT KAGOME, THAT HURT!" Lifting a delicate brow, Kagome then shook her head, "Well it's good to have you back too, InuTaisho." Kagome refused to call him father or daddy at that point and figured she might never call him either of the titles ever again.

Turning towards Inuyasha, he then gave two thumbs up as she placed So'unga back within his hands before lifting Satsuriku back within her own and sheathing it. What happened next... made everyone's eyes widen. So'unga, now back in InuTaisho's hands, was then lifted before he rammed the blade through her stomach.

Pure white sparkling blood was instantly coughed up, yet she could not heal the damage inflicted while So'unga was still lodged within her stomach. Pure white shining and sparkling blood began to seep from her wound at an alarming rate. InuWarui then shot his head towards his father and noticed the blood red orbs and instantly began to shake him, "FATHER, STOP!" Inuyasha instantly became furious. He was her protector, yet once he had looked at his father's soul again... he noticed it rapidly change into an angered dark grey color. The color of manipulation.

"SESSHOMARU, IKARI, GET KAGOME AWAY FROM FATHER!" Inuyasha yelled in a panicked fashion, however, they were already furious and appeared in front of their father before both twins swiftly kicked their father away from their mate. Sesshomaru tenderly pulled So'unga out from her stomach as Ikari began healing her with no incantation at all. All of them had learned how to use various spells without the use of an incantation within the two years they had spent away from the castle and all were very proficient at healing now. It was the highest ranking spells that would always need an incantation now.

Sutekina had smelled her pup's blood and figured training had just become a tad too rough. Sitting with Kirara while stroking her fur and mindlessly staring out of the window, the feline's head then popped up, "Lady Sutekina! Lord InuTaisho is here along with... wait who is this...? His scent is almost like that infant's, InuWarui, but it smells far too old for it to be his scent! I implore you to rush to your pup's side!"

Hearing the name of her mate, her eyes widened and she stood before rushing to the castle entrance, only to see InuTaisho run So'unga clean through her pup's stomach. Shaking and feeling a deep sadness overwhelm her body, she then felt something else... life. It had been a full moon last night and her pup had been with Ikari. That life was now slowly fading into the shadow realm as tears now streaked down her face until she sensed Ikari healing that life until it burned brightly once more. Releasing a breath, she opened her golden orbs for them to gain a look of horror before yelling, "SESSHOMARU! IKARI! GET KAGOME OUT OF THERE!"

Ikari snapped his head to the side and smiled sadly, "Big brother... take care of my child as if she were your own... please..." - "WIND SCAR!" InuTaisho yelled furiously as Inuyasha darted towards his mother and got her to safety, yet Sesshomaru huffed and grabbed both Kagome and Ikari before taking to the skies almost instantly.

That only left one in harms way. InuWarui was petrified as he witnessed the attack coming towards him and Ikari wiggled free before dropping to the shield the petrified pup, "I have lived for over nine hundred years... yet here I am, becoming too soft for my own good. Live... little brother..."

Just as he finished speaking, Kagome woke up and her eyes widened in horror, "IKARI, NO! SESSHOMARU LET GO OF ME THIS VERY INSTANT!" Ikari then glanced up at his furious mate as a tear slid down his face miserably. He would never see his own child's face. The furious angel then screamed out, "PUT UP A BARRIER, YOU DUMBASS!" Oh yeah... why hadn't he thought of that?

Grabbing his little brother, Ikari then threw a barrier up around them just before the attack collided. Ikari then scowled at the half breed, "DO YOU HAVE A DEATH WISH!?" Kagome was furious as she heard this, "YEAH, BECAUSE YOU ARE ONE TO TALK!" This made the younger twin chuckle as he rubbed the back of his head, "I suppose you do have a point there, mate." It was far too sudden... InuWarui then smirked deviously as he spoke, "I challenge you for the position of beta." With that only being said, a sword became lodged within Ikari's heart.

Sesshomaru's eyes widened immensely before instantly releasing Kagome and she dropped to the ground and fanned her hand to the side, clearing Ikari's barrier. Her bangs now covered her eyes as she walked forward and InuWarui then spoke, "Will you look at that. I challenged Ikari for the position of beta and won." The closer she got, the more rage that filled her as she slowly reached behind her and grasped the hilt of Satsuriku. Once she was close enough, that blade was drawn and InuWarui's head was now taken from his body without him knowing what happened.

InuTaisho was not done yet. He refused to stop until the maiden of light was dead as he released another attack, only for the angelic lass to raise her index and middle finger together and force the attack to disperse. Kneeling next to Ikari with tears flowing down her face, she pulled the sword out of his chest, "Ikari, don't leave me..."

Ikari weakly smiled, "I never will..." Kagome healed his outer damage, but his heart would not mend no matter how hard she tried. Frustrated now as she felt her beta mate grow weaker, she then heard him speak, "You know, mate... I think my heart broke long ago when I first met you and was told that I had to share you with big brother. You two always seemed so much closer than I could ever be with you and I envied the love that the two of you held. He was always there for you when your fragile heart almost fell to ruin, while I could do nothing but watch..."

The angel of light roughly shook her head, "THAT'S NOT TRUE! I LOVE BOTH OF YOU WITH ALL OF MY HEART! WHAT WILL YOUR DAUGHTER THINK THE MOMENT SHE LEARNS THAT HER FATHER JUST GAVE UP ON LIFE BECAUSE HE FELT UNWORTHY!? WHAT WILL SHE THINK OF HERSELF THEN!? WHAT WILL SHE THINK OF YOU!?"

This made Ikari's eyes widen slightly, "She would feel as if she were the same as me... a weak unlovable coward... but that is why you must tell her that Sesshomaru is her true fa-" - "I CAN'T DO THAT! IF YOU GIVE UP ON ME NOW, THEN I WILL GIVE UP MY LIFE!" Right when she spoke those words, Ikari felt her magic take effect on his heart and mended back together. Chuckling softly as he sat up, Ikari the nuzzled his angel's mating mark, "I don't know who's more stubborn at this point." Hearing Sesshomaru scoff, he gave his reply, "Isn't that obvious? She will always win a battle of stubbornness."

Something then happened that ripped the four pups hearts. Another attack was being delivered, but the moment Kagome went to make this one vanish as well, Sutekina stepped in front of her pups and they heard her last words, "Kagome, I hereby give you my official title of the lady of the west, along with my clothing, jewelry, and anything that will hold meaning to you. Sesshomaru, I give you my first hidden twin blade of shadows... Kagome knows where it is. Ikari, I give you my second twin blade of flames... I had made them for you two anyway. Inuyasha, I give you my blade of water. I love you, my beloved pups..."

Sesshomaru and Inuyasha went to bolt after their mother as Ikari and Kagome attempted to lift a barrier in time, but was futile. Right in front of their eyes, their mother was annihilated... the only thing left was her jewelry and a heart pattern from her kimono. Kagome instantly leaned over and began to release a cry of hysteria... one that broke all of their hearts. Inuyasha slumped to his knees and also released his heart wrecking sob. The twins stood and sat there holding a face of mortification as a single tear rolled down each of their cheeks in silent pain.

The moment Sutekina was gone, InuTaisho snapped out of his delusion to witness his pups in mourning. Walking to his newest pup, he lowered to a single knee and placed a hand on her shoulder before softly speaking, "Kagome...? What ails you...?" Hearing his voice was just sickening to all of the pups, but the maiden of light was the only one to take action. Allowing for her demonic claws to grow, she roughly clawed InuTaisho across the face before screaming, "ALL OF THIS IS YOUR FAULT! ALL OF IT! MOTHER IS DEAD BECAUSE OF YOU!"

InuTaisho's orbs then widened immensely, "K-Kagome, please tell me that this is just some kind of sick prank..." Sesshomaru then walked up to his father before solemnly speaking with a tone that Kagome had never heard come from him, "F-Father... you are under a-arrest due to your v-vile crimes against the l-lady of the w-west..." With a single finger raised to his father's wrists, a pair of celestial force handcuffs appeared around the western lord heavily.

They all now had to make their way back to the castle. They could only hope that they did not see Izayoi when they returned. She would not be granted to give him any type of luxury foods or beverages as a comfort." InuTaisho then looked down without a word to say to his children. Suddenly stopped by InuWarui's corpse, Sesshomaru then spoke using a deadly voice, "I will give you time to say your goodbyes. You have a total of two minutes." InuTaisho then looked at this corpse with confusion, "Might I ask as to whom this is?"

All of their eyes widened, yet found no lies nor trickery within his voice. Ikari then stood up and almost snarled, yet managed to hold it back as he spoke within a deadly tone that matched his elder twin brother's tone, "He is your half breed son. InuWarui." InuTaisho's eyes then widened at the claim and harshly gulped, "I-I had a fourth s-son...? I would never betray your mother though!"

Sesshomaru then snarled and bared his fangs, "Tell me, FATHER! Why is it that you BELIEVE we are at mother's home then!?" InuTaisho's eyes widened further as his lips began to slightly quiver. Right at that moment, his mating mark then vanished from the base of his neck on the right side before tilting his head down, "It appears to be true... I can only tell you as to how sorry I am, my pups... I had never meant for any of this to happen. I swear to you that much." The angel of light was then lifted by Ikari to not wear herself out on the long journey home, yet would never gaze out into the distance... nor towards InuTaisho.

Izayoi had been at the castle the entire time, holding the spell over InuTaisho by using a pitch black crystal ball. She continuously felt the western lord's spirit lashing back out towards the spell with the attempts to break it. The moment his spirit witnessed Sutekina rush in front of her pups to save them, he screamed, "NO! YOU WITCH! I CURSE YOU TO NEVER TO LIVE IN PEACE, NEVER TO BE CARED FOR, NOR BE SHOWN ANY FORGIVENESS! YOU DARE TRY TO HARM MY PUPS!? THEN I HEREBY BRAND YOU WITH THE MARK OF A TRAITOR!"

The black crystal ball then shattered due to his enormous spirit exploding from the ball and rushed towards her before branding her shoulder with a deep gash in the form of InuTaisho's four claw marks before they simply scarred over. She had never thought that her own child would have been cut down, but that didn't matter. She now held the titles to the western lands all on her own.

Pulling a new kimono over her traitors mark, she then smirked. All she had to do now was wait for the supreme deities to bring InuTaisho back home and she would give him the tea once again. Each and every time she gave him this tea, it took some of his life force and placed it within her own body to make her live much longer. She needed Kagome's life force to gain the power of the celestials and the powers of a demon all in one shot. She would live forever and never be bound to time ever again. These lands were for her to rule and she would never give that position up.

Sensing InuTaisho and the supreme deities returning to the castle, she figured she needed to get her acting face on as she darted towards the castle entrance only to notice that the western ruler now wore celestial bound chains to bind his hands together. Rushing out with a fake look of worry that would convince anyone she actually was worried, Izayoi then cried out, "DARLING! WHERE IS INUWARUI!?"

Looking up, InuTaisho then released a heavy sigh. Sesshomaru would not stop walking to give him the time to explain the matters at hand. About to speak, he heard Ikari growl in a low rumble... warning him to keep his mouth shut. Izayoi then huffed, "I AM THE LADY OF THE WEST! IF I ASK FOR AN ANSWER, YOU SHALL GIVE IT TO ME!" That is when Ikari stopped walking and handed his mate to Inuyasha for him to continue to the castle as he darkly spoke, "Take my mate into our room to rest and do not leave her side." Inuyasha nodded and tenderly took hold of his pupped sister, along with Sesshomaru leading InuTaisho to the dungeon as they continued their way inside of the palace.

Turning his attention back towards the snake of a woman, Ikari then snarled, "I will only tell you this only ONCE, you fraud! My mother was the only Lady of the West and her dying wish was that my mate take her position! Considering my father was the one that had harmed his mate, he will now be taken into custody and tried for his crimes! You will have NO time alone with him and you will be granted NO time to speak with him! Now that I have explained the matters, I expect for you to silence your wicked tongue!"

Izayoi looked at Ikari with a mortified expression, not knowing what to say... nor do as the younger of the twins turned and made his way into the palace. That's when she thought of it. Smiling softly and sadly, the dark priestess lowered her head and spoke sadly, freezing Ikari in his tracks, "I didn't think he was actually going to attack her. I tried to stop him and thought that I had succeeded. I am truly sorry for all of the hardships you have had to go through. Allow for me to make you some tea to ease your troubled mind from your long journey."

Lifting a single delicate silver brow, Ikari then sighed heavily and agreed to her wishes and demands thanks to his gentle and loving nature, "If you are wishing to speak to me, then I will grant your wish." Izayoi and himself then made their way back into the palace together while she spoke to the point to where he thought his ears might begin bleeding. Her tone was nothing short of agitating to the younger of the twins.

Tea now served, Ikari noticed how Izayoi now sat silently while glazing into her lap sadly and this caused for him to sigh heavily before looking to the side. Swiftly, Izayoi placed the dark spell within Ikari's drink without him even noticing as he turned his head back towards her as she spoke, "You are Sesshomaru, right?" Sighing heavily, he then shook his head, "No, my name is Ikari. If I were my older brother, I wouldn't be here right now." Nodding her head in acknowledgement, she gazed upon his handsome, yet young appearing face. He looked no older than a nineteen year old...

"Might I ask how old you are, Ikari?" Izayoi asked innocently as he picked up his tea. Just as he went for a drink, the question was asked and he placed the fine china teacup back on the plate, "I am over nine hundred years old. Why do ask?" Izayoi then gave a light shrug, "So, are you immortal?" Ikari then shook his head, "No, I am not. However, I will live thousands of years longer than any demon or celestial within this realm due to the fact that I am a supreme deity." He acted just like InuTaisho, yet was not as rough around the edges... he was perfect. He would live for thousands of years without aging.

If this had been Sesshomaru, Izayoi knew she would have had her hands full. Sesshomaru was too hard to read, yet the celestial bitch had no problems reading him like a book. Now a new thought popped within her mind that only Kagome would have been able to hear if she had been close, 'I need to create the soul transfer potion. That way, I can switch Kagome's soul with my own and live for thousands of years without aging.'

Looking back to the younger twin, Izayoi knew she would have to get under the maiden of light's skin first before she could take over her soul. She would allow her to give birth to her child before she took over the celestials body and sped up the aging process on the child so that she did not have to be a mother, but she would also be able to mooch off of the child's lifeforce as well so that she could live for forever. Conclusion found, she then picked up her teacup, "Please, drink!" Izayoi spoke in an all too chipper tone. Unfortunately... Ikari obliged and drank it all before freezing for ten minutes before coming back to his senses and abruptly shaking his head in disgust.

Kagome and Inuyasha now walked down the narrow passage way that lead to the dungeon together. Once InuTaisho had been brought into custody and placed within a cell they all agreed that this was not their father's doing and he was merely at the mercy of dark magic. However, they had to keep him secluded so that all of the dark magic that had been used on him would wear off. It had now been three months since he had been locked up and was almost acting like his goofy old self again.

Nearing the guards with her swollen belly, Inuyasha stopped as the maiden of light then smiled lovingly at the guards as she held InuTaisho's morning meal. Her smile always made their bodies relax as they too, graced her with a smile before bowing, "Lady Kagome, you are looking very well rested and beautiful on this morning. Lord Inuyasha, I see that you have come to guard the lady of the west as usual. Have you two come to see the prisoner again?" It had taken both of them a very long time to even come to terms with the loss of their mother, but each and every day became a little easier and now came to visit InuTaisho every so often.

Nodding her head and smiling brightly, she then gave a reply, "My, you give such high praises to one such as myself... I truly am flattered. Also, yes, I am indeed here to give the morning meal and speak with the prisoner for a few hours." The two nodded as Kagome muttered the high level spell to release the barrier around the cell so that they could unlock the door without being purified. Once opened, she nodded and both parties entered.

"Kagome, look at you! You are becoming HUGE!" InuTaisho gleefully spoke, yet knew not to rush towards her. Stepping in the cell, the maiden of light nodded and the guards closed the door before Kagome lifted the barrier once more before setting InuTaisho's food on the table, "How have you been, InuTaisho?" He wasn't the biggest fan of how his pup no longer called him father or daddy, but he supposed that he also could not blame her for doing so. He, the great dog demon had fallen victim to a dark spell and was controlled for far too long, but his mind was now becoming clear once more.

The lord of water then helped ease his sister down tenderly to a chair while InuTaisho slightly frowned once he glanced towards his youngest son, "Inuyasha..." Inuyasha was not there to speak to this man, but nodded his acknowledgements, "InuTaisho." Now THAT frustrated him to no ends. His own sons no longer addressed him with the honorifics that he deserved as being his father and that was discouraging enough.

Ignoring InuTaisho's frustrations, Inuyasha merely stood behind the angel with a stoic facial expression as Kagome bit her lip gently, "InuTaisho... I-I need your help..." Looking surprised at the angel, he then nodded, "Of course, go ahead. I will help anyway that I possibly can." Nodding her head as she felt her demonic child squirm around within her belly to get more comfortable, she then spoke after wincing, "I-It's Ikari... he's the father to the pup that I carry and he's been ignoring me. He will constantly claim he has to be somewhere else for his duties as one of the supreme deities... but I know that he is lying to me."

Grasping his chin and furrowing his eyebrows, he knew far too well what was going on, "I have an idea of what is going on, but have no proof due to being stuck in here. So instead, I am going to ask you a series of questions and I need you to answer honestly, all right?" The angel of light nodded lightly and the great dog demon continued, "When you go to bed at night, does he stay near to guard the pup and the mother?"

Looking down completely to hide her rapid changes of emotion, she shook her head, "No... he does not." Inuyasha then sighed heavily. All of these questions did not need to be asked so that his sister became so stressed out that she lost her first pup. So, before his father could ask anymore to distress his sister within her pupped state, he then spoke, "The day we brought you back to be cleansed of the dark potion, big brother gave sis to me and instructed that I take her to their room and guard her. I did as instructed and the moment Ikari returned, his eyes were glazed over and glossy. He did not come to bed to further protect his mate while she carries his pup."

Taking a gentle breath, the lord of water then continued, "I saw nothing tainting his soul, so I just found it as strange that he would just allow his mate that was pupped by him to be left without him becoming overprotective as any other dog demon would. After that day, he has been ignoring sis. I have never told sis this... but, Izayoi refused to leave the castle that day and was adamant about staying until she heard what your final judgement was to be. Sesshomaru and I argued to Ikari that she should be no where near our home, but he told us that you two had been "married", so she at least deserved the honor of knowing your demise."

The more his son spoke, the more sure he became about the issue at hand. Peering up, InuTaisho then released a heavy sigh, "You need to collect Ikari and place him within a cell. I fear that he is now under the same influence of the same dark spell that I had been under. Allow Izayoi no contact with him and keep him under strict surveillance, as I am. It has been three months since we have returned and thanks to Kagome, the spell was literally burned out of my system. I knew you had to keep me here just in case though."

Kagome then looked up with her duo colored orbs as tears streamed down her face and Inuyasha instantly helped her up before she quickly waddled to InuTaisho before sitting in his lap while wrapping her arms around his neck before beginning to bawl into his neck. This was so painful for InuTaisho to feel as he wrapped his arms around his pupped pup before she cried out, "DADDY, WHAT AM I GOING TO DO IF I LOSE HIM TOO!?"

InuTaisho's heart clenched tightly before he began to make gentle rumbles within his chest to soothe his pup before looking towards Inuyasha, "I will keep her protected, Inuyasha... I need you to go and get Sesshomaru..." After witnessing his sister freely rushing to his father's lap to cry, he knew she would be safe and bowed respectfully, "Yes, father." With that, Inuyasha raised the barrier before baring his fangs at his father, "If I find that you have harmed sis or her pup, then I WILL kill you myself with no second thoughts!" Nodding at his son, Inuyasha then exited and replaced the barrier before rushing off.

Sesshomaru was so damn agitated. He couldn't find ONE PLACE in this entire castle where he could be in peace without his twin giving all of his love and attention to that mortal woman that had bewitched their father. Hearing giggling coming from not too far from him, he then heard something that drove him to the brink of madness... a moan.

Standing up from the tree he had been slouched against within the gardens, he approached his younger twin before releasing a snarl, "IKARI! WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING!?" Ikari, currently inserted inside of Izayoi, then glanced up before giving off a potent and dark grin, "I am mating her considering that father will be put to death soon. It is such a shame that he did not listen to her words of wisdom when she gave them. Now leave." Sesshomaru's orbs were quickly bleeding red as his shadows swiftly snatched his twin brother, sealing his powers in the process, and pulled him away from the damned monster of a woman before he could meet his release.

The more Ikari struggled to become free, the tighter those shadows became. Inuyasha finally arrived and sweat dropped, "What is happening between the two of you THIS TIME!?" Sesshomaru's blood stained orbs snapped towards his youngest brother before snarling, "HE WAS ABOUT TO MATE THE WITCH!" Motioning for his brother to follow him, the lord of water then turned and began to make his way back to the dungeon.

Just as Sesshomaru was about to release Ikari, Inuyasha then called out, "Oh, and bring Ikari with you." The moment Sesshomaru's shadows weakened, allowing the younger twin's sealed powers to become unsealed, Ikari's body began to burn brightly with the flames of hell. The elder of the two swore under his breath and drew the sword that his mother had made for him by using her own fang, "Ikari! You do not want to do this! Do you honestly wish to harm your mate!? As Alpha within our mating contract, I COMMAND YOU TO LISTEN TO ME!"

As the command was given, Ikari snarled towards his older brother and pulled out his mother's fang of flames blade that she had left for him as Inuyasha sighed heavily as he watched the showdown between the brothers. Darting his golden orbs to the dark priestess, the lord of water's orbs widened immensely the moment he witnessed her smirking while sending Ikari more power so that he could overpower his elder brother.

Just as Inuyasha snapped his head back towards his brothers to tell them to stop, they were already dashing at one another. The clash of the magical blades made from their mother's fangs they both wielded was immense and the pressure sent Inuyasha flying back before slamming into a wall and falling unconscious. The moment he fell unconscious, the mark on his forehead began to send the supreme of light panicked pulses, pleading for his leaders assistance immediately.

Kagome's eyes widened immensely the moment she felt the pulses coming from Inuyasha and quickly dried her tears before standing up and looking at InuTaisho after raising the barrier, "DON'T JUST STARE AT ME! YOUR SONS ARE BATTLING AND I CAN'T GET THERE AS QUICKLY AS YOU THINK I CAN IN THIS STATE!" InuTaisho swiftly stood up and Kagome handed the great dog demon all three of his blades, "TAKE ME TO THEM! NOW!" Lifting the pupped pup within his arms, he then smirked, "Hold on tightly, my pup." Sweat dropping, she wrapped her arms around his neck and shouted to the guard that she would bring InuTaisho back the moment that this was settled.

Sesshomaru being pushed back caused him to grit his teeth angrily before he shifted his hold on the blade he wielded, leaving only his right hand to hold onto his blade as tightly as he possibly could as his left hand began to make the symbol of the cross... he was about to use one of the same spells that Kagome had first used against him before his hand snapped forward to touch his twin's forehead, clearly making him the designated target, "NORTH, SOUTH, EAST, WEST! MAY THE HEAVENLY STARS BRING DIVINE JUDGEMENT UPON YOU!"

The light morning sky shifted into that of night as the stars began to twinkle brightly as Sesshomaru leapt away for safety and then tapped the ground with his shadow blade, "MAY THE SHADOWS THAT ARE BOUND TO THIS EARTH COME TO MY BECK AND CALL! STOP THOSE WHOM WISH TO DO YOUR SUPREME OF SHADOWS ANY HARM!" With that, Ikari was then pulled in by his very own shadow and held still as the stars rained down their divine retribution.

InuTaisho then arrived... only to see his sons battling it out. He held no celestial force, so he did not DARE go anywhere near this spell... until Kagome tapped his crescent moon with a glowing finger and a silver lining instantly surrounded it. She now remembered... there were FIVE supreme deities that fell under her command. The only one left was the deity of wind. She remembered that there were technically six... but the sixth had fallen from grace, forever doomed to live as a mortal in a constant never-ending cycle. Their powers would never be awakened again no matter what.

Feeling the celestial force enter his body, he heard his pup yell out, "USE ALL OF IT IN ONE SHOT!" Nodding, InuTaisho then erected a high level barrier over his child as the stars rained down their judgement until the starry sky cleared to become morning once more. His celestial force, now drained, the angel of light pressed her finger against his crescent moon once more, only for the coloration to change almost instantly into a soothing light green that faded into a vibrant green. The angel wing tattoos across his back then appeared in the same colors and the moment she pressed a single palm in-between the marks, his wings then grew in the same manner of colors as the rest.

All deities were currently in the same room and all of their high ranking celestial marks then began to glow brilliantly. Kagome's was a sparkling white, Sesshomaru's was black, Ikari's was a brilliant red, Inuyasha's was a bright blue, and InuTaisho's was a vibrant green.

Inuyasha's eyes suddenly popped open and blinked rapidly, "The last deity has been found." Sesshomaru and Ikari's heads both snapped towards their father's direction with complete disbelief. Glancing towards the lord of shadows, the maiden of light frowned softly before speaking, "Sesshomaru, I must speak with the council." Nodding his head, he placed his blade, Kagekami, back within his sash and walked to the angel before she tapped into their power and fell into his arms. Ikari growled softly as he placed his blade, Honokami, back within his sash as Inuyasha toyed with the hilt of his blade, Mizukami, mindlessly while he waited for his sister to wake.

The moment Kagome's duo colored orbs opened within the celestial realm, the council smiled happily as Midoriko stood, "Welcome my daughter. You have done a marvelous job finding all of the supreme deities." Nodding her head slightly, she then turned slightly to face the deceased lord of wind.

Giving a respectful bow towards the deceased male, whom at the moment, did not look too thrilled as he spoke, "Leading maiden of light. What help can you find among us dead folk?" Midoriko shot the man a slight glare, yet Kagome shook her head, "It matters not whether you are alive, nor dead. I ask you this, former lord of wind... I must gain a clear mental image of your powers so that I may explain them clearly to the current Lord of Wind." This made him scowl slightly until Midoriko cleared her throat in a silent reminder that celestials do not judge as to whom is picked as a Supreme Deity... whether it be celestial, demon, or mortal.

Midoriko finally released a huff, "Former lord of wind, I understand your hatred that a demon was picked as one of the Supreme Deities... but you must not forget, there are not many of our kind left that are still alive. Even if there were enough celestials to fill the roles, none of them met the criteria for becoming one of the Supreme Deities. That was our fault for not passing down our legacies. Now tell my daughter what she wishes to know! Do remember that she IS a celestial and is the leader of the celestials. Do not allow the demons within her court of deities tarnish her name and loving heart."

That was when the lord of wind slammed his hands against the table, "YES! I DO RESPECT HER, FORMER SUPREME OF LIGHT! WHAT TROUBLES ME IS THE FACT THAT SHE IS PUPPED WITH A DEMON LASS RATHER THAN A CELESTIAL! SHE SHOULD BE DOING THE GREATEST HONOR FOR OUR KIND BY REPLENISHING THE CELESTIALS WITHIN THIS WORLD!"

Kagome then released a heavy sigh, "Yes, well, may we speak of this matter at a later date? I am rapidly approaching my time." The former lord of wind gave a huff before grudgingly nodding, "Very well, maiden of light. The Wind Deity is more than what it appears. More times than not, this role is specifically placed within the hands of a kind ruler that places all before himself. His task will to always help the helpless and his special attribute, combined with all others, is fearsome. His special attribute will most definitely be deadly..."

The former lord of wind then released a sigh, "The lord of wind's capabilities lies within the wind itself. He will go mad if not warned too quickly. He will be able to hear everything, including thoughts, that resides within his domain. Once he fully has it under control, he will be able to pinpoint a location to have the wind bring him the information he needs." The maiden of light then rapidly blinked, "So, what you are telling me is that he is a spy?"

A soft chuckle was then released, "I suppose you could put it that way, young maiden of light. However, that information can also be relayed to others as well. He must only speak to the wind and it shall carry his voice for him." Nodding lightly, her shimmering and sparkling angel wings fluttered softly as they began to fade, "I thank you, former lord of wind. I will relay all of this immediately." He gave a smile as she vanished, "Best of luck, maiden of light..."

The moment Kagome opened her duo colored orbs and all senses returned to her, she instantly heard InuTaisho on the ground screaming. How long had she been gone!? Time travels faster within that plain, so there was no way of knowing until she asked. Sesshomaru lifted a delicate silver brow towards her before chuckling, "Finally. You were gone for a month and a half and father has been going insane." Well shit. She only had half of a month to prepare herself for giving birth.

Being placed down, she then waddled to InuTaisho and placed her hands over his ears before they began to softly glow to silence all of the noise he was now going through. Noticing Ikari had, once again, vanished... she sighed and gave up on him before turning her head towards InuTaisho, "As I'm sure you've already surmised, your ability lies within the wind itself. It will bring you anything you wish to know, even thoughts, as long as they lie within your domain of the west, like a spy. However, you will also be able to send replies with your wind. Sesshomaru, go outside of the castle and think of something."

Finding this doable, the first born of the twins darted outside and asked her silently if she was ready for his train of thoughts to begin, yet was told to wait. Looking at InuTaisho, she then began to instruct him as if she knew what she were doing... thanks to her mother, "All right, hold your hand out and focus your wind within your palm." Nodding his head, he closed his eyes and wind gently formed within his palm before opening his eyes that now sparkled with joy that he had done as he had been told.

Chuckling, she now spoke softly, knowing his ears were extremely sensitive at the moment as she silently told Sesshomaru to go ahead, "Now, command the wind within your palm to find Sesshomaru and have it record his thoughts." InuTaisho nodded ever so diligently as he peered at the wind within his palm that was obviously waiting to be directed when he finally spoke, "Find my eldest son, Sesshomaru, and bring me his thoughts." The wind instantly took off in search of whom its master spoke of.

Finding Sesshomaru as he stood there thinking random thoughts, such as... 'Kagome, you need to eat. You are in a weakened state and are only half a moon away from giving birth to your pup.' The breeze instantly pushed through the young man and hurriedly returned before landing within its master's palm once again as Sesshomaru's voice spoke mindlessly about Kagome needing to eat to keep her strength up for birth.

InuTaisho gave a look of excitement to the maiden of light, whom smiled softly, "Now, to silence all of the voices you are hearing, all you must do is command the wind that you are not in need of its service as of now and the voices should cease. Go ahead and reply into the wind you hold now and deliver it to Sesshomaru." InuTaisho felt like a god as he spoke into the wind before commanding, "Now go and deliver this message to my eldest son." With that the wind took off to Sesshomaru before stopping right in front of him and playing his father's voice, "Son, I will take her to eat now. Fret not, she will give birth to a healthy pup."

Sinking into his own shadow, the elder of the twins then appeared within the room before lifting Kagome into his arms, "Good." InuTaisho told them he would be along shortly and then, with the wind in his palm, he spoke, "Find my son, Ikari, and record what he is speaking about, also record his thoughts. I expect to hear them separately, conversation and then thoughts. Split into two if you must."

With the command, the wind was off and found Ikari with Izayoi as they drank tea before getting intimate. The separate wind then recorded his thoughts before the two balls rushed back and hovered within their lord's hand as the conversation was played. InuTaisho only expected to hear one voice, but that was not the case, "My love, you must drink your tea. - But each time you make tea it is always vile. - Come now, do not speak that way to your wife! - And a lovely mate you will be... now let us begin with making a child..." InuTaisho instantly paled due to the fact that Ikari already had a mate. The next wind then began to play and the thoughts were not very decent for any ears to be listening to.

Hearing enough, InuTaisho then looked solemnly at the wind within his palm. He had done the very same thing to his mate... he had put her through so much pain and sadness that she just could not bare feeling all of that agony any longer, deciding that she would be happier taking the damage from the blast, trading her life of misery for the welfare of the life of her children instead. He suddenly heard an unknown voice within his head, "Lord of Wind, I am the former Lord of Wind. I am going to do something for you that I never thought I would do for a demon. Take my spirit to revive the woman you love."

He was more than grateful towards the former lord of wind as he gave his silent thanks before taking out Sutekina's locket that held some of her tail's fur and placing it on the ground. With that, InuTaisho began the transaction of souls spell that would bring his beloved back, "I, the Supreme Deity of Wind call upon the heavens! I give the transaction of the former lord of wind's soul to bring my beloved back to the realm of the living! BEND TO MY WILL AND BRING SUTEKINA, LADY OF THE WEST BACK TO ME!"

The wind now howled around him as he felt the spell nearing completion. Once the wind settled, he opened his eyes... only to see... nothing. Slamming his golden orbs shut, tears slid down his face and dropped onto her locket, only for it to react. Keeping his eyes slammed shut, InuTaisho grit his teeth painfully until he felt delicate bare arms slowly wrap around his neck. Feeling his mating mark return, a gentle breath was then released from his parted lips as he held Sutekina close.

Leaning back, Sutekina noticed it almost instantly, "InuTaisho, you are the supreme of wind!?" Releasing a gentle chuckle, he then lifted her body within his arms as he stood up, "Yes, milady. How about we talk about that after we get you properly dressed for dinner and go see your pups." Tears slid from Sutekina's golden orbs as she nodded, "Yes!"

Kagome sat at the dining table whenever she winced at Ikari's mating mark. In all honesty... she had become accustom to the sharp pains that stabbed her whenever she had taken her month and a half long slumber to speak to the celestial council. A dreaded sigh released her lips as she sat there while the demonic female pup within her belly kicked her mother roughly as if telling her to stop being so mopey. Sharp gasps were then heard and she watched as Sesshomaru and Inuyasha's hands became shaky as they stood before rushing towards the door.

This wasn't fair at all. They could have at least TOLD her who was making them so distressed until she heard the two whimper softly, "M-Mother..." The maiden of light's eyes instantly became flooded as she pushed out hurriedly and stood as fast as she could, which was far too slow for her actual liking. Finally turning, those tears began to flood down her face like a dam that had officially been broken loose, "M-Mommy...!"

Sutekina's head instantly snapped up at her angelic pup's voice and effectively pushed her clingy sons off of her before rushing to her pup. Gently taking her pupped pup within her arms, Kagome broke down as she wrapped her arms around her mother, "MOMMY! I'M SORRY I DIDN'T SAVE YOU THAT DAY! I-I'M S-SO S-SORRY! I HAVE CARRIED THIS GUILT WITH ME FOR SO LONG AND WANTED TO TRADE MY SOUL TO BRING YOURS BACK, BUT NONE WOULD LET ME!" The female pup that Kagome deemed to name, Akina, apparently knew her grandmother's scent very well and instantly decided it was time!

"Kagome, my pup... OH MY GOSH! SESSHOMARU, GET KAGOME TO THE BIRTHING ROOM!" Sutekina yelled in a panicked tone as he rushed to her with a worried facial expression as he lifted her securely into his strong arms. Sutekina's golden orbs searched around frantically before screaming, "WHERE IS MY SON!? IKARI!"

Ikari was having some fun with Izayoi and was about to finish until he froze in place. Izayoi scowled angrily, "Why did you stop!? I could have conceived your child!" Not listening to the dark priestess's rant, his golden orbs filled to the brim with tears as he pulled out and looked towards the door while whispering, "Mother..."

Izayoi knew that, that bitch was not alive any longer, so she huffed, "Ikari, my love, come... let us finish..." Her seductive tone called out, but he was already dressed before bolting from the room. She instantly began to throw a temper tantrum over losing yet ANOTHER man due to this DEMONESS! Cups were being hurled angrily and even the cup that held the tea that was made SPECIALLY for Ikari was hurled in her fit of rage.

Sutekina was pacing back and forth anxiously in front of the birthing room that her angelic pup had allowed Sesshomaru inside of, yet was told that no one else was to enter... no matter what. All too suddenly, the mother of the pups head snapped to the side as Ikari yelled, "MOTHER!?" Lifting her nose and sniffing the air, her eye then twitched furiously. Her son smelled of sex... and that sex was not from his mate. Oh, saying that she was pissed was the understatement of the century. That mortal was STILL here!

Just as the second born twin reached his mother and scooped her up in his arms, she became repulsed... but was a master of not showing it. He held her close, "Mother... I have missed you so much. Come, I wish for you to meet someone!" Ikari tried to tug his mother along, yet she would not budge no matter how hard he tried, confusing him as he spoke an interrupted sentence, "Moth-" - "AUGH!" Kagome screamed in agony, making Ikari lift an eyebrow, "What's wrong with her?"

Beyond furious now, Sutekina roughly slapped her son across the face as tears ran down her face, "SHE'S GIVING BIRTH TO HER PUP! PLEASE IKARI, PLEASE TELL ME THAT YOU HAVE NOT IGNORED KAGOME THIS WHOLE TIME THAT SHE HAS CARRIED YOUR PUP!" - "SON OF A BITCH THIS HURTS!" Kagome screamed indecently, internally amusing Sutekina to no ends. Ikari then scowled at his mother, "I FINALLY MET SOMEONE THAT I ACTUALLY LOVE AND YOU REFUSE TO EVEN MEET HER!?"

This comment instantly made the pup's mother scoff, clearly unhappy at her son at this current point in time as she stated, "Oh, sure, I will meet her once Kagome gives birth. Some beta male you are." - "WHAT IN THE HELL!? WHY WON'T THIS END ALREADY!?" The angel screamed as Sesshomaru's voice chuckled from inside of the room, "Mate... you are apparently carrying twins." - "DAMN YOUR GENETIC LINE TO HELL!" The furious angel of light proclaimed angrily as she heaved.

Sesshomaru was already holding the cleaned Akina within his right arm and could only stare at the pup with so much love and affection the moment she reached out to him. One final push and the next was out. Two healthy baby girls were born on August twenty-sixth. Sesshomaru then glanced at the younger twin before looking towards his mate, "Her name, mate?" The angel of light, still out of breath, panted softly, "Akari..." Leaning down, Sesshomaru placed a tender kiss upon his angel's sweaty forehead, "You blessed not only the Crescent Moon Clan, Kagome... but me as well."

Her eyes began to droop from exhaustion as the bathed and bundled Akari was then handed to Sesshomaru to rest in his left arm. Before he exited the room, the doctor of the castle then looked at him seriously, "Lord Sesshomaru, if you plan to claim these two pups as your own due to your brother's infatuation with the mortal witch, then I advise that YOU give them their crests so that they carry your scent until they are old enough to be mated."

Growling angrily at the castle doctor, he then released a soothing rumble as the twins began to cry within his arms. He had already planned to claim these two as his own. He would love them, treasure them, adore them, and spoil them to death. Leaning down, he opened his mouth and his fangs gently pricked both of their foreheads for their crescent moons to appear and licked the small droplet of blood away to seal the wound before walking to the door. He was pretty sure that his mother was about ready to break down the door to get to them.

Opening the door, Sutekina's orbs instantly began to sparkle as InuTaisho and Inuyasha also appeared for their hearts to just about melt. Ikari instantly noticed that HIS children had already been marked and that sent him into a state of fury. Sutekina and InuTaisho both took a child within their arms as Ikari shoved Sesshomaru to the ground while holding his corrosive poisonous nails that began dripping the substance onto his face that he did not even flinch at.

"YOU MARKED MY CHILDREN, YOU BASTARD!?" Ikari snarled at his older twin brother viciously. Sesshomaru did not even flinch at the snarl, but he did smirk, "Yes, I did claim them as my own due to your fascination with the mortal WITCH! You ignored Kagome her ENTIRE pregnancy and would have left her to fend for herself if I had not been the alpha male! I took over the liberty of making sure that my mate was well protected during her time of vulnerability, while you went off and played with a new toy that would eventually DIE before you could even get close to your impending death!"

Ikari's orbs became bloody red and was ready to slaughter his twin until two cries were heard coming from Akina and Akari, freezing him in place. It was obvious... they wanted their father. Allowing his orbs to return to their normal golden coloration, Ikari then stood up and reached for Akina, only for her to withdraw into her grandmother's hold on her... making him pull his hands slightly back.

The moment Sesshomaru stood and brushed his clothing off, the twin little girls reached out to him happily. Sutekina inspected both children closely until gasping, "Akina is a demon and Akari is a celestial!" Sesshomaru shook his head lightly before lifting Akina within his arms before kissing her crescent moon and placing her into Ikari's arms. Ikari instantly looked at this little girl and his soft heart finally broke as he leaned down to cry on her tiny chest. Akari was then given the same treatment by the man she thought was her true father before placed within Ikari's arms before speaking, "Ikari, it would be wise to relinquish Akina and Akari's care to me. For I shall love them for all eternity."

Ikari released a protective growl, amusing his elder twin to no ends as he spoke dryly, "Oh, now you become protective? How amusing, little brother." Sesshomaru then heard HIS little girls giggle at their father's words and reach out to him at the same time, making him breathe a gentle chuckle. He honestly could not wait to pup his angel himself.

Reluctantly, the younger of the twins handed his twin baby girls over to his elder brother's protective hold and now noticed that his stoic elder brother now held a glow to his ivory skin. 'H-He is proud to be fathering my children...?' Sutekina then turned towards Ikari, "Show me this woman of your dreams. Leave Akina and Akari with their father so that he can effectively protect his pups and mate." That was hard to hear coming from his mother's mouth and it did more damage to his heart than she could have ever believed. Turning, he then lowered his head, "R-Right..."

InuTaisho couldn't watch this any longer as he quickly walked up to Ikari and grasped both of his wrists behind his back with one hand before his free hand slammed his face to the ground, yet turned as he saw Sesshomaru wince at the shared pain and smiled apologetically, "Forgive me, Sesshomaru. Now, Ikari... I am taking you to the same holding cell that was my home for three months."

Right as InuTaisho began slowly walking away, he heard his revived mate's knuckles crack anxiously, "Right... as you do that, I am going witch hunting. Inuyasha, please assist me. Kagome will be well protected with her mate." Inuyasha then gave a devious smirk, "Of course, mother. Let's burn the bitch alive!" Ikari was now struggling within his father's hold as he cried and pleaded to no avail, "NO! DON'T HURT HER! PLEASE, I AM BEGGING YOU! I LOVE HER MORE THAN YOU THINK! SHE MIGHT EVEN BE PUPPED!" Sutekina's face then grew dark as she gave a cold reply that she had picked up from angelic pup, "Sucks to be her..."

Izayoi watched the two darlings, Akina and Akari, being brought out of the birthing room by the more desirable of the twins... Sesshomaru. She scowled angrily at the beauty of these children. The demonic child, Akina, adorned her mother's ebony locks, yet her orbs were that stunning golden coloration that had been graced to her by her father. The celestial child, Akari, held her father's silver locks, but held her mother's beautiful sapphire orbs. These children were a product of perfection, but soon found out that these darlings were not truly Sesshomaru's. They were in fact, Ikari's children.

She was about to approach the family to congratulate Sesshomaru and Kagome for the birth of their children before taking over the angel of light's body until Ikari was slammed to the ground by InuTaisho. She then heard the grotesque sounds of fingers and knuckles cracking before she heard the claims of Sutekina going "witch" hunting.

That was infuriating enough. Izayoi scowled hatefully at the word as it replayed over and over within her mind before she internally screamed, 'I AM NOT A WITCH!' She hadn't known InuTaisho was now in control over the wind as the sounds of her voice flooded into his ears, making him smirk. He knew that she was close due to how loud her thoughts had been as he turned to Sutekina, "My wind will lead and protect you from all harm." She nodded and smiled as she and Inuyasha darted after the gust of air.

Izayoi was terrified now as she ran from the castle with wind following her and telling her where she was going. Turning around to face the wind as split into two, Izayoi then held a hand up as a dark repulsive color radiated from her hand, "Hear me, soul of Kagome, deity of light, answer my souls cry for help." Soon enough she was answered, "What do you need...?" BINGO!

The dark priestess then pleaded to the angelic being, "Please, maiden of light, I request your help! The only way I will survive is if you switch your soul with mine!" There was an excruciatingly long pause until Kagome answered within her unconscious state, "Very well." - "STOP MY DAUGHTER! DO NOT SWITCH YOUR SOUL WITH HER OWN! DO SO AND YOUR LIGHT SHALL FOREVER BE TAINTED!" - "Forgive me... for I must decline your cry of help..." Midoriko released an extremely heavy breath. That had been close... TOO DAMN CLOSE.

The dark priestess softly growled before concealing her body from the wind, causing it to dart around in a highly confused state before Izayoi destroyed both orbs of air and made her escape. She would be back, that much she promised. She would need a more suitable vessel to live in though. One born from a celestial and human... a priestess of light. It would be so easy to take over a body such as that, no matter how much sacred power they held. She then remembered something that Ikari had told her. The Sacred Jewel of the Four Souls was currently inside of the castle. Well damn, she could have made herself so powerful that not even a supreme deity would have been able to stop her.

Roughly an hour later, Kagome's duo colored orbs fluttered open, only to see Sesshomaru asleep beside her with both of his tails and arms wrapped around her tiny form. The twins then woke up and that made the demon heir's golden orbs snap open. Slowly, the angel then turned and pressed her face into his chiseled chest, "Do not worry mate, they are just hungry."

Standing up, Sesshomaru then leaned over and picked both of his little ladies up before handing each to his mate. Considering that she slept with little to no clothing on anyway, all she had to do was take her darlings and they instantly began to suck the milk from her nipples. 'Oh good... I was afraid that my milk would purify Akina, but it would seem as if she grew a tolerance to my purification force...' Hearing Sesshomaru chuckle softly, the angel of light then turned to gaze upon her mate as he spoke, "I was worried about the same thing when I first fed them."

Looking down slightly, she then had to know, "S-Sesshomaru... Ikari didn't even come to see them... did he...?" He knew lying to her was pointless and he did not want to break their bond as he nodded, "He did come to see them, but he tried to kill me for claiming them as my own, yet father finally caught him and he is now in the dungeon. We also seemed to drive off the witch."

Kagome then blinked rapidly, "She was a dark priestess, not a witch." He then nodded to her claims, knowing that she could not tell a lie even if she had wanted to. The maiden of light then blinked rapidly, "Wait... SESSHOMARU! YOU CLAIMED THEM AS YOUR OWN!?" He merely nodded his head before he heard his angel give off a heavy and long drawn out sigh, "You didn't ask me if you could do that mate..." He then turned his gaze to her, "Does this displease you, mate? Do not forget who kept you safe during your time of vulnerability and was by your side as you gave birth."

Frustrated now, Kagome sat up once the twins were asleep again and placed them in their beds before speaking, "It's true that you were there for all of it. I am sorry for doubting your reasons, because I am sure that you did have your reasons that were not only valid, but also honorable." Sesshomaru was highly pleased with his mate's reply while he watched as she healed her body to perfection.

"Next full moon... you will submit to me and bare my pups..." Sesshomaru purred into his mate's ear, causing her to shudder lightly. Blinking softly, she then glanced up at him, "Sesshomaru, how have you been feeding our pups while I was asleep?" This made his face light up like a firework as he dashed his face to the side, "M-Mother came in with cups and milked you. She has been having a field day now that she is a grandmother. Father is no better though. He has been playing with them any chance he gets."

Now it was time for her to ask a slew of questions, "Mate? I have some questions." Sesshomaru had his own, but he would wait for her to speak first, "How long does it take for celestial and demon pups to mature?" He hummed softly before giving an honest reply, "Well, if you are speaking about until they are fully matured appearance wise, then I will have to say about one-hundred and nineteen years. It sounds long, but goes by faster than you would believe."

Turning his gaze to meet her own, he had to ask now before he lost his nerve... yet she knew, "You want to know where I truly originate from..." He hated at how she could read his thoughts sometimes, yet nodded and noticed almost instantly how she took in a shaky breath, "I am not sure you will even believe me..." Sesshomaru then cocked a single one of his dainty brows, "You, who is COMPLETELY incapable of telling a lie. Yes, I find it very likely that I will believe you." Nodding her head, she then glanced into her lap and released a shaky breath, "Sesshomaru... I originated from one-thousand years in the future."

Well, to say the least, he did not expect that reply... yet found her reply extremely believable. He could smell no lies or faulty with her words... not to mention she was unable to tell a lie in the first place. Kagome then lowered her head further, "I have read our story before. The book was called The Legend of the Cursed Lovers. An angel fell in love with both twin demon brothers and one met their demise due to the love he had held for the angel. The angel fell into despair and ruin, her heart completely broken at the loss of one of the brothers..." Sesshomaru then frowned slightly, "Did the angel ever open her heart again...?"

Shocked at him, the supreme of light then smiled softly, "You know, I read that book so many times that I began to interpret the story in a different manner all together. I found that they were not cursed lovers... yes she loved both, but the moment she lost one, she still had the other to make her happy. The one she ends up living the rest of her days with was the one she loved the most and that made her happy. The two then went on to govern the world to show that angels and demons, along with mortals... could live together within harmony." This had Sesshomaru thinking while blocking her out of his thoughts. Who did she love the most...?

Six months passed rather quickly and Ikari was back to his loveable self. It was a very conflicting thing for her to see as he played with their twins happily, yet not one complaint was ever uttered about the two calling his brother "father". For Ikari knew far too well... he had not been there for her when she had needed him the most and lost the right to call his daughters his own. The angel of light had not allowed Sesshomaru to pup her as of yet, but he still patiently waited for his turn to gain an heir of his own; hoping and praying that the pup, or pups, he fathered would be twins as well.

Months turned into years and years turned into a short time of twenty years. While they still had not aged physically or mentally, people began to question her as to why she had not given Sesshomaru the honor of becoming a true sire with his own blood to raise, care for, protect, and provide for. The answer was simple... she was scared. When she had told Sesshomaru of The Legend of the Cursed Lovers, she had left a major part out. She would have to face the facts sooner or later, yet she continued to delay the inevitable that was sure to come.

It was now seventy years later in total and she finally gave in and accepted the final outcome of her romance tragedy. Sesshomaru was finally given the honors and asked for nothing but celestials. It puzzled the maiden of light to no end as to why he only wanted celestials, but his reply was a very simple reply indeed. He would sire some demons, but wanted to honor her dying, yet very noble race by filling it with brand new hearts that actually beat like a steady drum.

By the time she once again became pupped, she had to attend the funeral of her sister, Sango. Only one month after her passing, her husband, Miroku, passed as well. They left behind many fine children... a grand total of twelve to be exact. All were trained in the arts of a demon slayer and all held spiritual powers as a monk. Kagome had found that Miroku's father had been a celestial that mated with a mortal woman, only to find out that his father had died by the time he had turned twelve.

Finding surviving celestials became a hobby for her and one day, a clue was given to her the day a powerful priestess was born with the given name Kikyo. For any of the supreme deities, it felt as if time had frozen in place... yet was moving at a very rapid pace at the same time. Telling Sesshomaru that she wanted to meet this extremely powerful priestess, he agreed to accompany her... as did all of the other supreme deities.

All landed within the small village that Kagome knew all too well and folded their wings against their backs as they approached the shrine. Kikyo walked out and her brown orbs instantly widened before quickly kneeling down, "Honorable Supreme Deities, I, Kikyo, welcome thee. To what do we owe the pleasure for your most welcome visit?" Kagome, now four months pregnant, motioned for the priestess to rise and smiled softly, "I have come to visit you, Lady Kikyo." Nodding hastily, she lead the little Supreme Deity gang into the temple before watching as the lord of shadows helped the pregnant maiden of light sit down.

"Kikyo, were you born naturally like this, or did a celestial bring you into this world?" Kagome asked with a soothing tone and smile. Kikyo then looked up at the temple ceiling, "My mother is the leader of this village and she is a celestial maiden, just like you Lady Kagome." Nodding her head excitedly, she then smiled brightly, "Could I have the pleasure of meeting with her?"

Kikyo nodded slightly, "Of course, but I must warn you... she gained word of four demons becoming the Supreme Deities and has become cross. She constantly bickers at how she should have been named the Maiden of Light." Standing up, she then walked to the doors before speaking, "Please wait here."

It was not too long until the temple all but exploded with shining light particles, yet were nullified by Midoriko rather abruptly before they could harm her daughter and her pup. The leader of the village sulked forward with Kikyo looking down as if she didn't even want to be near her mother at all in the first place.

"My name is Lady Enzeru, the celestial maiden that provides divine protection over this village!" Enzeru growled out, completely hateful as she spewed her words like venom. Sesshomaru then stood and helped his pupped mate up to stand, before she spoke, "Lady Enzeru, my name is Kagome, daughter of the previous Supreme Deity of Light. I am the new Supreme Deity of Light. With me are the other Supreme Deities. Sesshomaru, Supreme Deity of Shadows. Ikari, Supreme Deity of Flames. Inuyasha, Supreme Deity of Water. InuTaisho, Supreme Deity of Wind and ruler of the western domain."

Enzeru glared hatefully, "Midoriko never had any children! So how can you, the maiden of light, LIE!?" Midoriko then appeared beside her pupped daughter, "Hello Enzeru, still as sour as ever I can see. This is Kagome, my child and YOUR supreme! You WILL show her the respect she deserves!" Enzeru instantly began to growl spitefully, "Midoriko..."

Kagome then cleared her throat, "As I was saying, I have merely been looking for other members of the celestial race. Take my hand, Lady Enzeru..." Enzeru growled again, showing her displeasure until Kikyo huffed, "Oh, enough mother! I am so tired of your ATTITUDE! You claim to be a celestial, but you act no better than a lowly evil demon that wishes to do harm to all in its path!" Kagome knew how she felt all too well. However, the moment Enzeru turned to harm her daughter, something within the maiden of light snapped as she vanished, only to appear in front of the celestial maiden with Satsuriku drawn and held to her throat.

"You will not HARM your daughter!" Kagome commanded. No matter how much Enzeru wanted to slap her daughter, she could not do so due to the command that had just been dished out by the Supreme Deity of Light. Looking towards Kikyo, Kagome then smiled gently, "Kikyo, I offer you this... come and live at the palace with us as a celestial in training." The maiden of light figured it out long ago that children born from a celestial and human race were STILL celestials that just never tap into their celestial force.

Kikyo stood firm, yet smiled, "Thank you for the offer, maiden of light. I humbly accept your offer." Kagome then smiled and walked behind Kikyo once Satsuriku had been sheathed before placing her hand between the priestess's shoulder blades, awakening her celestial force with a simple small transference of her own celestial force and allowing for her white wings to appear from her back.

Smiling at how much power she felt, Kikyo snapped around - smacking Kagome in the face on accident in the process - to embrace her tightly as tears began to fall from her face, "Thank you so much, maiden of light!" Inuyasha then released a scoff, "Yeah, all of us here just call her Kagome, sis, mate, or pup." This made Kikyo chuckle brightly for the first time in a long time, "Then let me rephrase! Thank you so much, Kagome!" The pupped angel of light smiled tenderly before brushing away Kikyo's tears, "You are more than welcome, sis."

Enzeru instantly gained a mortified facial expression, "Yeah, you didn't think I knew... did you? I COULD FEEL MY TWIN SISTER'S MISERY!" Not knowing what to say, Enzeru chose to say nothing as the maiden of light scoffed, "Go figure..." Kikyo's eyes widened at this before snapping towards Enzeru, "This whole time... you've suppressed my celestial force and kept me from my twin sister!?" Again, Enzeru said nothing... but Midoriko appeared, "My pups, now united. Go and make this world a better place. One where mortals, celestials, and demons can live in peace side by side. Now fly home!"

Returning home took a little over half a month and the two twin sisters now sat outside basking in the warmth of the sunlight. Kikyo could only look around at the beauty she was now surrounded by, "Hey sis?" Kagome turned her head to peer at her twin before answering with a twinge of pain, "FUCK, NOT NOW!"

Almost instantly, Sesshomaru was by her side and lifting her into his arms before taking off to the birthing room. Everyone waited outside for hours and that hours turned into a day. Sesshomaru was right beside his mate and was worried with how much she was sweating and how much pain she was in. The castle doctor checked the dilation and finally nodded, "All right Kagome, push!"

A cry of new found life was soon hear, quickly followed by another set of newborn life. Celestial twins... go figure. The doctor then looked at her, "Congratulations Lady Kagome and Lord Sesshomaru! You have one boy and one girl!" Outside of the room, Akina and Akari were jumping with joy that they finally had gained siblings and did NOT wait for that door to open before they bolted inside, "MOMMY, YOU ARE AWESOME!" Both girls shouted ecstatically as Sesshomaru chuckled at his impatient twin girls.

"Suku... a-and Suki..." Kagome first shakily pointed to her son before pointing towards her daughter. As exhausted as she was, she then chuckled, "Man, I can't catch a break with birthing twin pups..." Akina and Akari instantly giggled at their mother before Akari went up to her mother with her wings folded behind her as her knee length silver locks gently chased after their mistress before she touched her forehead to her mother's to share some of her celestial force.

Sesshomaru lifted a delicate silver brow at his second born daughter, "Akari, that was very sweet, my pup." She then turned and flashed a brilliant smile, "Hey daddy, can we hold Suku and Suki for a while to show them their new homes?" Ikari watched sadly as his daughters begged his brother to take their siblings around the castle. Shaking his head as Akina and Akari exited the room, they both stopped and chuckled, "What's wrong with you, uncle Ikari?" Ikari looked towards his twin, only to see a "don't you fucking dare" look cross his face before smiling at his daughters, "It's nothing!"

The demon and celestial twin then looked at one another at the same time before shrugging, "Oh well, see ya uncle Ikari!" Everyone left Sesshomaru and Kagome alone as she healed her birthing injuries. "Tonight's a full moon, mate..." Sesshomaru growled softly within her ear, making the angel turn bright red, "Fine, fine," she answered in a surrendering tone, fully knowing that she made him wait seventy years before making him a true sire.

By morning, Kagome was beyond sore. She couldn't remember how many positions they had been in throughout the entire night after giving birth. Yet, here she was... pupped again. Laughing softly, which woke Sesshomaru, the angel then spoke, "Sheesh, I better only be having ONE child this time." Nuzzling her neck affectionately, the two then got up, fed Suku and Suki before putting them back to bed and walking down to breakfast.

The moment she and Sesshomaru walked into the dining hall, InuTaisho, Sutekina, Ikari, Inuyasha, Akina, Akari, and Kikyo then snickered before all saying at once, "Pupped again, are ya?" The maiden of light rolled her eyes playfully as her mate pulled out her seat before gently pushing her to the table and gave a snarky reply, "SOMEONE couldn't WAIT until the next cycle of the moon to gain another heir or heiress." All chuckled at the comment as breakfast started and all were eating as a family.

InuTaisho had sent his air to sweep around his lands to make sure everything was prospering, but once the air came back, his eyes widened in horror, "A pack of WOLF demons attacked an innocent mortal village!? Which one!?" The wind then spoke to him as his utensils dropped from his hand before grabbing Tenseiga and threw it to Sesshomaru, only for him to catch it and allow his eyes to widen in horror as InuTaisho yelled, "RIN!"

Kagome hurriedly finished her meal before standing beside her mate and that's when she realized it... Sesshomaru was her true mate. Ikari then finished his meal before looking at Inuyasha, "Don't worry, I will protect her in your place." Lifting an eyebrow at Ikari, Inuyasha then nodded, "Okay man, but if she gets hurt while pupped, I will kill you myself." Ikari sighed, yet agreed as the three then left. Akina and Akari knew better than to ask if they could go and Kikyo needed to be trained further to be of any assistance to her sister.

It didn't take them long to reach the village that now held corpses everywhere. Kagome shakily rose her hands to her face and began to cry whenever a wolf lunged and roughly bit her shoulder, ripping the flesh from her shoulder away. As her skin was ripped away, the maiden of light screamed in pain and Inuyasha was there almost instantly to see the sinister look upon Ikari's face.

Rage overtook the lord of water as he then took on his true form and the corrosive acid-like water formed around his body. Barking angrily at Ikari, he then turned to face Inuyasha, "DO YOU KNOW HOW SICK I AM OF PRETENDING AS IF THOSE GIRLS ARE NOT MINE!? THOSE ARE MY DAUGHTERS AND THEY CALL THAT BASTARD DADDY!" Inuyasha didn't give two flying FUCKS as to what his brother was saying as he snarled ferociously, yet froze the minute he saw Kagome's Satsuriku embedded into Ikari's chest, piercing his heart. Tilting his head, he witnessed Sesshomaru holding the hilt of the blade as tears flooded down his cheeks before muttering, "Goodbye... little brother..."

Satsuriku had allowed Sesshomaru to grab him this once due to his mistress healing herself. The angel of light finally peered up only to witness Satsuriku embedded within Ikari's heart as tears began to flow down her face while she thought, 'Now I understand... The Cursed Lovers had nothing to do about an actual curse. It was made because I showed favoritism to ONE brother, yet showed the other no compassion in return. I took his daughters from him and never said a word to them to show them that Ikari was their true father. ALL OF THIS IS MY FAULT!'

Standing abruptly, she then called, "SATSURIKU, COME TO ME!" The demonic blade then ripped through Ikari's chest to return to its mistress as she opened her wings and fled from this terrible scene. Her heart fell into despair and ruin at that point. She didn't deserve the title of the "Supreme Deity of Light". She flew until she could fly no more and fell to her knees to vomit. As she purged her stomach, she felt the harsh reality as Ikari's mating mark all but vanished from her skin.

Her eyes filled with tears as she began thinking of what she had said about their life... "I have read our story before. The book was called The Legend of the Cursed Lovers. An angel fell in love with both twin demon brothers and one met their demise due to the love he had held for the angel. The angel fell into despair and ruin, her heart completely broken at the loss of one of the brothers..." Sesshomaru then frowned slightly, "Did the angel ever open her heart again...?"

Shocked at him, the supreme of light then smiled softly, "You know, I read that book so many times that I began to interpret the story in a different manner all together. As of now, she could find nothing worth living for, except her children. As of now... the ones that mattered the most were the ones gifted to her from Ikari. She had stolen their father away from them and that right there... was a curse from hell. She felt no different from the parents that she had grown up with that existed far in the future.

She had sworn to never behave as they had towards her and she had just broken that sacred vow that she had made to herself long ago. Where did she go from here...? She had no answers, nor solutions for the question at hand. Maybe her children would be far better off if she were to simply vanish all together. However, she was far too much of a coward to take her own life. Narrowing her orbs, she then sealed her golden eye so that it turned back into its natural sapphire coloration as she completely sealed her celestial force... making her wings vanish from sight as she remembered speaking to Akari about her wings, "Never be ashamed that you are a celestial, Akari. For that is what you are."

"KAGOME!" - "KAGOME!" - "KAGOME!" - "KAGOME!" - "SIS!" - "MOMMY!" - "MOMMY!" All called out in a frantic tone of voice due to not being able to find the maiden of light. Months began to pass with no sign of the celestial until one day, a knock came to the castle doors. Thinking that this was Kagome, all basically tripped over one another until they opened the door, only to look down to see a basket holding an infant... which also included a letter neatly tucked beside the sleeping child.

"Uh... daddy?" Akina and Akari called out in unison, only for him to rush toward his daughters to see them holding a single demonic infant boy that looked just like Ikari and himself. Taking a sharp breath in as his golden orbs began to water for the first time in front of his children, he then picked the note up and read aloud, "I was told by a random woman that this child's name is Ikari, please take very good care of him."

Right away, Sesshomaru could tell that this handwriting belonged to Kagome, but he was not the only one who figured this out as Akari began to sob as she proclaimed, "T-This is m-mommy's handwriting! D-Daddy, I want m-mommy back!" Frowning, he merely took his daughter into his arms and held her close to his heart as he ran his fingers through her hair. Akina scowled softly before grasping her fists tightly, "Why would she abandon us!? Grandma has been more of a mother than SHE has!" Sesshomaru then growled softly, "Your mother raised you better than that Akina! Never speak about her in that way EVER again!"

Far away within a small village, Kagome stood as a priestess as she looked up at the sky. After she had given birth to the new Ikari, she had moved into the village and altered her appearance so that none would come looking for her. She needed the time to sort things out all on her own until she heard one of the villagers scramble up to her, "LADY HIKARI! I BRING NEWS! The Supreme Deities are scheduled for their visit today."

Nodding her head gently, she then stared out almost sadly as she gave a soft reply with her altered tone, "Right, you have my thanks. Please prepare the village and have them clean up before their arrival. We do not wish to disappoint the maiden of light." Her altered knee length platinum blonde locks fluttered softly within the wind softly as her gentle light green orbs peered down. Her skin held no markings on her forehead any longer, for she had concealed them entirely so that no one knew as to whom she was. She had lost the fire within her soul, making her appear obedient as a well trained priestess.

The thing that hurt to conceal was her mating mark to Sesshomaru. She had been very careful to not reactivate her celestial force because the moment she did so, it was alert her mate to come and find her with ease. She reverted back to only holding her sacred power, yet not her celestial force. Everything about her would tell the other supreme deities that she was not Kagome. Her face was different, her body was different, and she had hidden and sealed both of her swords away so that her mother could not tell the others as to where she was located, nor could they sense the power even if they scented the air.

She now just used a regular bow, as there was a quiver of arrows hanging from her shoulder. Noticing a demon that wished to do harm, Hikari then drew an arrow to her bow before releasing it and her sacred powers flared as she purified the beast where it stood. Looking back at the shrine that held the sacred jewel that she protected, she already had a cover story for this one before looking in the sky to see that the supreme deities were approaching rapidly. Had they always appeared this way, she wondered?

Walking down the steps of the stairs, she then went to the front of the village and knelt down as the supreme deities... and her children... landed. She kept her emotions in check as she gave a tender smile, "Supreme Deities of Shadow, Water, and Wind, I bid thee welcome to our small... but humble village." Her platinum blonde locks fluttered behind her softly before smiling tenderly. Acting as if she were confused she then looked up at the Supreme Deities, "Pardon me, Supreme Deities, but where might the maiden of light and lord of flames be? Were they ill?"

They all looked at this woman and frowned, yet the lord of shadows replied, "The maiden of light has gone missing and the lord of flames fell in combat." Hikari nodded at this, "Please let us know as to how we might be of service to you, milord." He then glanced around at the immaculate village... nothing was out of place and it did not wreak havoc upon his nose. All villagers were clean and the cherry blossoms that surrounded the town kept a pleasant scent that masked all impure scents.

Akina and Akari then rushed up to the priestess of the village before they spoke in unison, "Oh, you are so PRETTY! Might we ask your name!?" Her girls were just as curious as ever, causing her to release a chuckle once her hands were grasped by each child. Nodding and smiling, she then spoke, "Yes, of course, young demon and celestial lasses. I am the high priestess of not only this village, but the Sacred Jewel of Four Souls that was left within our care. My name is Hikari." She had just lied... but since she now believed her name was Hikari and she had locked away any celestial force that she had... she was fully capable of telling a lie without her light becoming tainted.

Akari then released an overly excited squeal of pure joy, "Your name has the same meaning as mine! My name is Akari!" Smiling, her eyes then softened as she shut off any link to her thoughts, 'My daughters have become so beautiful...' - "I see, what a beautiful name you have!" That's when Akari looked down slightly, "T-Thank you... my mother named me..."

Sesshomaru instantly noticed the moment she had said that the Sacred Jewel had been placed within her care and immediately narrowed his golden orbs at the priestess, "Might I ask as to whom left the Sacred Jewel within your care?" Hikari then nodded, "But of course, lord of shadows. It was brought here by a young woman with black hair and blue eyes. She then asked for shelter for the night, but was simply gone once we woke. I just pray that she is all right."

That had not been a lie, for the fact that when she first asked this village to take the Sacred Jewel, she had told them that she had a very experienced priestess that was a short ways behind her and was willing to take over the care of the village. She had made a clone of the person she would be transforming into that had her own name, task, mind, and heart. The moment she gained a home for the night, she then merged the two together and for months... had forgotten who she even was in the first place. Her heart and mind had been so fragile and weak at the time that the clone's overshadowed her own and took dominance of everything.

InuTaisho then stepped forward as he spoke, "Young priestess, Hikari, you are sure that you do not remember as to where she had went?" Kagome then allowed her clone's spirit to take over so if InuTaisho were to read her mind and thoughts, she would not be lying, nor would she be punished for such actions. Hikari then shook her head, "No, milord. Unfortunately, I do not have any idea as to where she went."

Right as she answered, a gust of wind brushed through her entire being and the only thing that the wind whispered to InuTaisho that this indeed was not Kagome. Hikari then smiled tenderly, "We have prepared rooms for you all if you wish to stay the night to rest up your celestial force." She could tell that they were all exhausted, especially Akina and Akari whom had not awakened their full potential. Akari then turned towards her father with a pleading expression, "Please, daddy? Akina and I are so tired. Besides, if you are worried about Ikari, then remember that grandma is taking care of him."

Sesshomaru had a very hard time telling his girls no... and one could definitely tell that he was already losing this battle as he released a heavy sigh, "Very well." It was no secret that the poor man was exhausted from looking for his mate for months on end. Hikari gave a soft chuckle, "Right this way." She then took them towards the shrine that held the symbols for light, shadow, flames, water, and wind at the top and sides.

Opening the door, the platinum blonde priestess then stepped to the side, "Please, make yourself comfortable milords. I will bring all of you dinner shortly." Kagome had to allow Hikari to stay in charge for as long as the supreme deities stayed, yet silently watched everything. Akina and Akari instantly rushed to the priestess as both spoke at the same time, "Can we help you prepare the meal!? Mommy used to make dinner and allowed us to help once we were old enough!" Hikari blinked rapidly, yet smiled, "It would be a joy to have you help me."

The girls then giggled before rushing away with the priestess to make the evening meal. Sesshomaru sat against the wall adorning a frown as InuTaisho mumbled, "I know, son. These times have been trying for us all... do remember that you are not the only one that misses Kagome." Tears instantly filled the stoic males golden orbs before placing a hand over such a shameful display of weakness while clenching his teeth tightly. Right at that moment, Inuyasha moved to sit beside his hurting older brother and held him close, "I know Sesshomaru... it hurts..."

Hikari finished the evening meal rather quickly thanks to the twin polar opposites, Akina and Akari. They all talked as Hikari then questioned to the twins, "So, tell me, Akina and Akari; what is your mother like?" Both girls looks down before Akina then mumbled, "Heartless..." Akari then snapped her head towards her polar opposite before scowling, "Mama is NOT heartless! Maybe there's a good reason she can't come home! S-She's just... not like that..."

Akina then snarled angrily, "HOW WOULD I KNOW, AKARI!? I AM NOT A CELESTIAL LIKE YOU OR MAMA!" Akari then scowled, "IT'S CALLED HAVING COMPASSION, AKINA! MAYBE YOU SHOULD TRY IT SOME TIME!" Hikari then gave a scolding tone, "Girls! That is quite enough of your bickering!" Both twins froze at not only the statement, but the voice that had changed as well. Slowly turning their heads towards the platinum blonde priestess, they then realized... she was no longer there. In the priestess's place was their mother. Both instantly dropped what they were holding before rushing to their mother, whom caught them both with ease.

"MAMA!" Akina and Akari hollered as they began to sob against their mother's chest. Kagome frowned heavily, but knew it had to be said, "Girls... I need you to keep this a secret from your father..." Both then gazed up from their mother's chest, "B-But why mama!? Did he do something terrible!?" Kagome then pulled the girls back to the kitchen as she looked down. It was time for the truth to be revealed. Taking a deep breath, she then allowed her duo colored orbs to look at her girls, "Akina... Akari... the lord of shadows is not your true father. He was the one who protected me during my time of vulnerability because your father became obsessed with another woman."

The twin girls soaked in every word that their mother spoke, allowing for her to continue, "You see, your true father was the lord of flames. When we went to that village that had been attacked by wolves, your real father planned an ambush by letting the wolves go straight for me. He played the part of the fun and loving uncle for so long that his heart broke. Each and every time he witnessed you two calling his twin your father, the more he fell into despair."

Akina and Akari then both asked in unison, "So... why are you so hurt then mama...?" Kagome's eyes filled with tears as a clear flashback of that day ran through her head as she spoke, "Even though I knew he was behind the ambush, I held no hatred against him. I knew that this story of misery, pain, and suffering was one of my creation. I gave Sesshomaru all of my love and gifted him with three children. Suku, Suki, and Ikari. While I only gifted him with you two... only to take you two away from him and had Sesshomaru mark you as his own due to my fear that he would take both of you away from me to live with his mistress."

The polar opposite twins continued to listen as their mother spoke, "On that fateful day that I was ambushed, Sesshomaru... being the alpha male, witnessed his brother basically giving the wolves the order to attack me... rage overcame him and he ended up piercing his twin's heart. It was preordained to turn out this way, yet I never took full responsibility for any of my actions leading up to that point that could have changed the course of history. Sesshomaru cried once he stabbed his twin's heart... yet... that damage could have been easily healed. It was my foolishness that took his life."

The twins didn't know whether to be shocked or angry at this, so they just continued to listen as their mother now shed her tears of mourning and misery, "Sesshomaru had used my demonic blade... Satsuriku, who normally allows for no one to touch him except me, to pierce his twin's heart. I had been so mortified that I called Satsuriku back to me... and it ripped right through his body. Giving no chance to heal him... and like a child who did not want to face reality, I ran away."

Akina and Akari now had a good understanding of the entire story, but they were not angry as Akina spoke softly, "Mama... none of this is your fault. Even though you took us from him, you had very good reasons to do so. Daddy will always be daddy. It's just that simple. I would have fought tooth and nail to stay with you and daddy if Uncle Ikari had tried to take us away." Akari then nodded, "You have a light within you that shows everyone love. If he did not accept that love, then who is really to blame...? You...? Or his blatant disregard for the love that you had already given him...? Believe me, we know that daddy is selfish. He wanted to be the only one to love you and you needed his love within your life, mama..."

The maiden of light was so blind. Right in front of her, were her pups... trying to make her come to terms that she was not to blame and the simple fact was that she was NOT the one at fault. Finally... she felt her heart begin to mend as she unsealed her celestial force, only for her sparkling wings to appear and her attire shifted into her shimmering white dress that hung off of her shoulders. Opening her arms to her twins, they then ran into their mother's tempting arms to fill the empty void that had been missing within their lives.

InuTaisho, Inuyasha, and Sesshomaru had all been sitting within an empty space of silence until all of their golden orbs snapped into focus and widened the moment that they felt that massive pressure of love and warmth being forced within each and every fiber of their entire being. By the time InuTaisho and Inuyasha snapped their head in Sesshomaru's direction, he was already gone.

Rushing to the kitchen that Hikari was cooking at with his daughters, the lord of shadows then slammed the door open. The only thing he witnessed was a lot of sparkles and a lot of white launching itself towards him until the all-too familiar soft pair of arms gently laced themselves around his neck, causing for him to instantly wrap his arms around the loving maiden of light's back before nuzzling his face within her hair to take in her scent. Leaning back, he then captured his mate's lips hungrily and possessively.

Almost instantly, the two parents heard both of their daughters gross out at the same time, "EW! Daddy, that is SO GROSS!" Leaning back, Sesshomaru then lifted a dainty silver brow towards the two twin girls, "Then give me time with your mother... ALONE." Both girls then gave a loud huff, "Well, you're welcome that we forced her to take her true form!"

They got him good. Holding his angel tightly to his body, he then muttered, "Thank you so much, Akina... Akari." A shocked facial expression then crossed both of their faces. Their father NEVER thanked anyone for ANYTHING. Just how much did their mother mean to him? Apparently enough to actually THANK someone. They stood there with confused facial expression until Kagome turned her head to notice their faces and began laughing, "Pups, come here."

Once they were told to approach, Sesshomaru slightly tightened his grip and released a threatening growl until the maiden of light whacked his muscular shoulder, "Don't you EVER growl at my pups!" Her scolding expression was enough to silence him before he nuzzled her neck and released a soft whine as a form of an apology. Akina and Akari then ran to both of their parents and held them tightly before whimpering softly into their forms, "Love you mama and daddy..." Kagome and Sesshomaru's eyes then softened as they leaned down to plant a kiss on the top of each girl's head. Sesshomaru then smiled into Akina's hair, "I love you too, my pups..."

Releasing their mother and father, the two girls then exited as Akina then huffed, "I SWEAR, HELL MUST BE FREEZING OVER!" Akari nodded in agreement as she spoke as gently as her mother, "Daddy never says thank you and rarely says I love you. Akina... I think daddy really loves mama and doesn't just see her as some form of trophy to possess." Their father's voice then echoed from behind them, making both freeze, "I HEARD THAT, YOU TWO!" Both girls instantly began to giggle before dashing off towards their uncle and grandfather.
