Little One, Little Danger
Epilogue
A young girl runs down the main stairs of a massive mountainside house in excitement while trying to pull on the remaining pieces of a white leotard. The house was made out of a dark tinted glass to keep out most sunlight, though each inch of it had a big enough curtain to shut out any light that'd seep in. She ran pass the kitchen and the living room where pictures of a family were situated in nice cherry wood frames across the walls and coffee table. The girl then phased through a wall in her path that seemed to lead into a library where a few books were scattered about on living chairs and end tables. Another wall laid up ahead leading to be the house's back garage. Several motorcycles and vehicles were parked and looked to be in the best condition as though they were just purchased yesterday. The young girl jumped and flew over to the opposite side of the room and landed in a specific spot. She hit a red button on the wall opening up a hatch beneath her where an elevator was waiting. Hopping in, she hit the down arrow and the elevator moved rapidly downward decending down about what seemed to be 20 levels. Once the elevator stopped the girl flew forward down a dim lighted hallway until she came to a cold steel door.
"This is it." She said to herself as she took a deep breath and phased through the door. Inside the room it was brightly lit and there was one bench sitting in the right hand corner, someone was occupying it, "Daddy!"
The man looked up and waved, "Hey sweetheart. I thought we'd be training a little later on today. What are you doing down here?"
The girl smiled, "Well the real training is going to start today."
"What do you mean the real training? You've been training since you were six." he chuckled.
"Yeah but mom will be getting serious today."
The man scoffed, "Yeah, no. You're only twelve and your mother will not go hard on you until you are older and ready."
"You both keep saying that but I know I'm ready. Plus...", the girl chuckled nervously.
"What?" the man looked at her suspiciously, "What did you do?"
"Nothing that bad really." She smiled at him sheepishly.
"Not that bad huh, you have that expression Garfield always has."
She stuck her tongue out at him, "Well it doesn't matter, because we're in this together and we can take whatever she's throws at us."
All of a sudden the room they were in started to shake and the man watched his daughter put on the hood of her leotard, "What did you do?"
His daughter looked at him and nervously chuckled, "I might have...put blonde hair dye in her shampoo bottle."
The man looked at her dumb-founded while one of his eyes twitched, "W-Why...why would you do that?"
All of a sudden the shaking stopped and the wall ahead of them started to glow an eerie dark color while something started to slowly phase through it; a shadow.
A stern voice echoed, "Raiden Arella Grayson..."
The man got in front of the girl, "You are not going over to Garfield's house for a week!"
Two glowing white eyes formed in the middle of the shadow that phased through the wall. Soon after, it morphed into a woman with long curly blonde hair that levitated; she was dressed in a leotard as well but being black in color.
"Honey! Oh my god, is that you? Love the hair!" the man was trying to shoo the young girl along.
"Be quiet Richard.", the woman let out in a monotone voice. Her eyes stopped glowing as she looked over at the girl, "Do you think acting out will give you everything you want?"
Raiden bit her bottom lip, "All I want you to do is to take me more seriously."
"When you're older."
"I'm twelve years old!" she huffed and folded her arms over her shoulders, "Plus, dad said the blonde could do you some good."
The woman slowly turned to look at the girl's father, "Did he now?"
"No! No...Rachel, the girl's making things up. She just wants to fight that's all." He rubbed the back of his head nervously.
"But you did say that. We were sitting on the couch when some shampoo commercial came on and this pretty blonde lady was waving her hair around. You did call her pretty as I recall." Raiden gave her father a smirk as he narrowed his eyes at her.
Rachel sighed, "Is this both what you really want?", she started to levitate higher as her dark aura formed around her and her eyes glowed white.
Richard stood by his daughter, "If this doesn't end well, you are so grounded."
Raiden smirked, "It'll be the most fun I've ever had."
The two readied themselves and Richard put on his mask that completed his Nightwing uniform. Rachel started to release electric waves of her power causing her hair to flow in all directions; she readied herself as well. In an instant the flow of energy stopped and was absorbed by her and she flew straight in their direction. Raiden levitated and flew towards her mother as well while Richard ran with his bostaff.
"I love you both." Raiden used telepathy before clashing they clashed.
"We love you too.", the two parents replied as they started their first day of serious training, with many more to come.
