Chapter16: Three Factions II

Human World
Japan: Fuyuki
Homurahara Academy

Ravel Phenex walked briskly through the front gates of the school that she attended with Shirou, passing through the numerous Bounded Fields that had been set up to make the mundane humans stay away from it. It was night and the streets had been empty as she'd made her way here with her peerage following close behind her. Of course once she'd entered the school grounds and passed through the Bounded Field, she took note of the various races scattered around everywhere.

Angels, Fallen Angels and Devils were all floating around the academy, keeping guard over the building. Uncaring of the eyes of all three races on her and her peerage, she continued on across the courtyard towards the front entrance. They made their way through the corridor beyond and walked up the stairs to the roof. Once there they stepped out onto the roof and saw the four Maou already there sitting at a large table opposite the other faction leaders. Idly they noted Rias, Sona and their peerages standing off to the side behind the Maou while Irina and Vali were standing behind Michael and Azazel respectively.

"Lady Phenex," Sirzechs Lucifer greeted. "I'm glad you could make it."

"It is my pleasure, Lord Lucifer," Ravel bowed her head slightly.

"I have read the reports of Kokabiel's attack," Michael spoke up. "You have my thanks for stopping him."

Ravel nodded in response…

"I believe I should apologize," Azazel sighed as he leaned back in his chair. "I should have kept a closer eye on Kokabiel, maybe then none of this would have happened."

Again Ravel nodded, though this time far colder than before. Her experience with the other factions wasn't exactly stellar, after all, from what Shirou had told her, Kirei was a monster in human form that had nearly brought about the end of the world. On top of that was the news of God's death and the lies that were being told, lies which had driven Issei, Caren, Asia and Xenovia into becoming devils. Then there was the battle with Kokabiel and the incident with the White Dragon Emperor.

Needless to say that she didn't have a very good opinion of either set of Angels…

"Now that everyone has arrived, I'll say the preconditions for the meeting. The people present here acknowledge the most important and forbidden subject. The death of God," Sirzechs began and everyone nodded in confirmation. "Then, acknowledging that, let's begin."

"I would like to start off by saying that the Excalibur fragments have been move to a secure location," Michael said clearly. "We have also doubled out security so that they cannot be stolen again."

"Good," Azazel grunted in amusement. "We wouldn't want them to be stolen for a second time."

"What of you, Lord Azazel?" Sirzechs asked him. "What have you done to ensure that nothing like this happens again?"

"Regarding the incident with Kokabiel, a leader of our Central Organisation, Grigori, kept quiet to the other leaders, as well as to me, the Governor, and acted independently. I have already discussed this with the other leaders," Azazel answered. "Any Fallen Angel acting in such a manner again will be brought to trial and sentenced to eternal freezing in the Cochytes from which there is no escape."

"…You really don't want to start another war, do you?" Michael inquired.

"Aah, I don't have any interest in wars. I'm interested in more important things," Azazel replied with a shrug.

"Azazel, I want to ask you something. Why have you been gathering owners of Sacred Gears for the past decades? At first I thought you were gathering humans, and attempting to augment your battle potential. I even anticipated you waging war against heaven or us but…" Sirzechs trailed off unsure what else to say.

"Yes, I too wonder the same thing. No matter how much time passed, you didn't wage a war against us. When I heard you got hold of the Vanishing Dragon, I thought for sure that you would start another war," Michael added.

"It's for the sake of Sacred Gear research," Azazel smiled bitterly at the two of them. "If that's the case, should I send a part of the research materials to you as well? Even if I did research, I wouldn't wage a war against you or anything. I don't have any interest in war at this point. I am perfectly satisfied with the world as it is right now, the world that Emiya Kiritsugu created ten years ago. I have ordered my subordinates to not interfere with human politics, you know? I have no intention of intervening in religion either, nor to influence the business of the devils. I simply don't care for such things, nor do I care about you all."

"You are the least trustworthy of the three faction leaders," Michael spoke clearly.

"Yeah," Sirzechs agreed. "How do we know that you aren't planning something?"

"Che, I thought you were better than God or the last generation's Lucifer but you guys are troublesome guys yourselves," Azazel mused before grinning at the two of them. "Sneakily researching doesn't get along well with you, huh? Ah, I got it then, let's make peace."

The whole rooftop froze at his words, unable to believe what the Grigori leader had just said as if it was the most unimportant thing in the world. None of them could seem to comprehend what Azazel had just suggested, though it didn't take long before the Maou and Angels present got over their shock. Rias, Sona and their peerages were the most surprised by this turn of events. Ravel herself was surprised but that surprise gave way to possibilities, possibilities that she hadn't considered before.

Peace between the Three Biblical Factions…

Was it possible?

"Yes, I also planned to propose peace to the Devils and Grigori. Even if we continue to fight like we have done so far, then it will become damaging to the new world we live in today. Of course with God and the original Maou dead, the cause of the last war died with them. There is no point to more fighting," Michael continued.

"Ha! The stubborn Michael has started to speak even though he was all about God before," Azazel chuckled in amusement.

"I have lost a lot of things however there's no help looking for things that aren't here anymore," Michael explained. "It is our duty to guide humans and we, members of the Seraph have the opinion that the most important thing for us is to watch over the children of God from now on as well, and to guide them."

"Hey hey, with your speech just now, you'll 'fall' you know?" Azazel warned him. "I thought that since you took over the system it's been a good world. It's completely different from the time when we 'fell' so don't lose yourself just yet."

"We are the same," Sirzechs spoke up. "Even if the original Maou are dead, in order to continue the species, Devils too have moved forward as well. Even we don't want war because if there is another war between us, the devils as a race will be destroyed."

"Yes. If another war breaks out between us, the three factions will definitely be wiped out. And then, it will affect the human world as well, and the world will end. Do you think a world without God is wrong? Do you think a world without God would decay? I am sorry to say but that isn't the case, we all are healthily living like this. The world moves even without a God…" Azazel trailed off.

"…So it would seem," Sirzechs said with a sighed.

God was dead…

Yet the world still turned and people still went about their lives, day after day. Shirou didn't really care about God being dead, after all the old world he had been born in was no longer in the Age of the Gods. Only Angra Mainyu had remained and that was only due to the Holy Grail. Once the Fourth War ended and the two worlds collapsed, the gods returned. However just because they had returned didn't mean they couldn't die or fade away, after all they had done it before.

Only time would tell…

"Now then, why don't we move on?" Michael asked the other faction leaders.

"Yes," Azazel nodded. "I believe it's time to hear the opinion of those other than ourselves who believe that they can influence the world. What say you, Vali?"

So far the white-haired young man had remained silent, simply leaning back against the wall with his arms crossed and watching as the scene before him progressed. He gave off an aura of not caring about what was going on before him, considering it to be uninteresting. To Issei it was understandable, after all he too wanted nothing more than to fight strong opponents and feel the thrill of overcoming a challenge. Peace was never an option for warriors like them…

"If I can fight strong guys, then its fine," Vali answered simply.

"And you, Issei?" Azazel questioned further.

"I'm the same as him in that regard," Issei smirked back. "I enjoy a challenge."

"I see," Azazel nodded with a sigh. "You two are alike," he said before turning his gaze on the former redhead standing beside his King. "And what of you, Wrought-Iron Devil?"

Shirou stared back at him without blinking, his once golden-brown eyes having taken on a bit of grey. He hadn't been expecting such a question but considering it was Azazel asking it, he shouldn't have been surprised by it. Not only that, but Azazel had also called him the Wrought-Iron Devil, a title that Ravel had told him was making circulation in the supernatural community do to his involvement in the various battles that he had been involved in, especially the Fifth Holy Grail War.

"I care about the people closest to me," Shirou answered truthfully. "As long as they're okay then its fine."

'Shirou…' Ravel trailed off in thought as she looked over at him.

That part of him hadn't changed at least…

"Heh," Azazel grunted in amusement. "Interesting."

A second later the building seemed to shake for a second as the Bounded Fields covering it lit up, bathing the school in red light. Hundreds of magic circles appeared around the school and were soon followed by the appearance of countless figures. Spears of light and demonic magic lashed out from the newcomers, slaughtering the surprised guards from the Three Factions floating around the school. Without a word the newcomers continued their attack as they closed in on the rooftop.

"A terrorist attack?" Ajuka Beelzebub mused.

Terrorists?

"It must be the Khaos Brigade," Azazel sighed.

"Khaos Brigade?" Michael asked the question.

"They're an organization headed by Ophis, the Infinite Dragon God, composed of various races including those from the Three Biblical Factions," Azazel answered causing the others at the table to suddenly narrow their eyes. "They're likely here to kill us all."

'Khaos Brigade,' Shirou thought as he recalled the name.

He'd heard the name before, in passing from the mouth of Julian Ainsworth so long ago. Julian had said that he and his comrade in the Khaos Brigade would save the world from all supernatural beings. Since then Shirou had heard nothing about them, until now at least, and if they were as dangerous as everyone seemed to think they were, then he needed to do something. He looked over at Ravel who was looking back at him and nodded.

This was their city…

It was their job to deal with this intrusion…

"If you'll excuse us, Lord Lucifer," Ravel bowed her head regally at the Maou. "We will take care of this nuisance."

"…You are excused, Lady Phenex," Sirzechs nodded slowly.

Without another word Ravel turned away and looked up at the large number of terrorists bearing down on them. The guards were either dead or dying having been taken completely by surprise despite being prepared for such an attack taking place. That didn't matter now though; all that mattered was dealing with this nuisance before it interrupted the meeting. The faction leaders could continue the meeting without them while they dealt with this 'Khaos Brigade.'

"Shirou," Ravel spoke clearly.

The redhead nodded at the command and stepped forward as the last of the Bounded Fields protecting the building fell. The agents of the Khaos Brigade—Angels, Fallen Angels and Devils alike—descended upon them with spears of light and demonic magic. The hurled attacks down at the rooftop intent on blanketing the entire building and killing the faction leaders where they stood. Of course Ravel was under no delusions; it would take more than that to even harm the monsters behind her.

Still...

She didn't want them to be interrupted...

"Trace on," Shirou incanted as he brought his left hand up. "Rho Aias!"

Rho Aias: The Seven Rings that cover the Fiery Heavens was projected into the area between the attackers and the faction leaders. It was originally the shield used by Aias the Great which was capable to stopping Durindana wielded by the Great Hero Hector. Originally it was a bronze shield covered in seven layers of oxide and was capable of stopping the javelin. As a Noble Phantasm it was a conceptional weapon that took the form of a flower with seven pink petals with each petal representing a layer which Archer could reproduce.

However even with EMIYA's knowledge from both the Archer card and the Artificial Phantasm, Shirou could only manage to project four petals instead of the full set of seven. Still, it was more than capable of doing what he intended it to. The volley of light spears and demonic magic hammered at it only for a single petal to fall. The enemy army—the Khaos Brigade—paused as they saw their attacks neutralized and stared in shock that it had been one lone devil who had done so.

Good…

They hadn't been expecting much resistance from the guards…

That included Ravel's peerage…

Shirou had never faced an army before, all of his opponents up this point had been inhumanly strong but they were small in number. The largest number of enemies he'd faced at one time was back during the Ainsworth crisis when he blitzed the fake Heroic Spirits unleashed by the Mud-Cube. Since then every battle he'd faced was against one opponent at a time with the exception of the battle to rescue Illya and Chloe in the Einzbern Forest on the edge of the city.

He needed a weapon that could defeat an army…

And he had one…

"Trace on," Shirou incanted once more as a single sword formed in his hands.

"That's…" Michael trailed off behind him.

"Holy Sword of the stars swing once again," Shirou spoke clearly. "Galatine!"

Excalibur Galatine: The Reborn Sword of Victory was an A-Rank Anti-Army Noble Phantasm originally wielded by Sir Gwain, one of the Knights of the Round Table. Regarded as a sister-sword to Excalibur, it was a Fae-made blade that contained a pseudo-sun within its hilt where it draws its power from. Shirou first tossed the sword into the air where it then released the pseudo-sun within it before he caught the blade once more. He swung the blade from left to right with one hand and released the energy from the pseudo-sun upwards at the attacking army.

The radiation-wave washed over the attacking army in a matter of seconds and melted them into nothing. Had the enemy decided to land and attack from the ground then he would have had to limit the output of the weapon so that he didn't destroy everything else along with them. However since the enemy was airborne he didn't have to hold back and released the sword's full might. Even if he couldn't replicate it fully much like Excalibur, it was still capable of doing what he intended it to.

The Khaos Brigade army was gone…

Just then five demonic magic circles appeared on the rooftop near them and shone brightly as they emerged. The air grew thick as five figures appeared from the magic circles and stepped out onto the rooftop. Judging by the twelve wings they had each, they were incredibly powerful, easily Ultimate-class. As one the Maou stood up from their seats, the maid at Sirzechs side stiffening at the sight of the newcomers and the other faction leaders suddenly grew tense.

"Brother…" Grayfia trailed off.

"Those magic circles," Falbium mused. "There can be no doubt, you are descendants of the previous Maou."

"The Old Maou Faction?" Ajuka grunted. "I thought we'd eradicated you all by now."

"You thought wrong," spoke a tall man with white hair. "Hello Vali."

"Grandfather," Vali gritted out.

"Still a disappointment I see," the man mused.

"My goals are my own," Vali sneered up at him.

"Heh, then be gone from my sight. Your presence is no longer required as a spy," the man waved him off.

A spy…

"Vali?" Azazel asked over his shoulder.

"Sorry Azazel," Vali said as a magic circle appeared under him. "Thanks for everything but I'm done, I'm not doing this anymore."

He disappeared a moment later…

"Allow us to introduce ourselves," the man spoke up once more. "I am Rizevim Livan Lucifer, this is Euclid Lucifuge, Katerea Leviathan, Creuserey Asmodeus and Shalba Beelzebub. We are here to kill you all and bring chaos to this world."

Lucifer…

Leviathan…

Asmodeus…

Beelzebub…

Four Maou…

"We devils have grown since the Civil War," Sirzechs declared. "We won't go back to what we once were."

In response the air suddenly grew thick with ash and dust, coming from seemingly nowhere. The floor beneath Rizevim's feet started to blacken as the lights illuminating the academy started to dim and go out one by one. Everyone tensed as Rizevim raised his hands out to the side, gesturing at the world around them and smirking widely at those before him. This was it, the moment where everything changed, the moment where he would finally take action in order to accomplish his dream.

"You don't have a choice because you will all die here," Rizevim smirked back. "Devil's Requiem."

Darkness exploded from his body, spreading out and consuming everything it touched. Shirou stepped in front of Miyu as the wave of darkness came closer, washing over him in an instant. He closed his eyes and waited for the end only to suddenly feel nothing but heat. He opened his eyes once again and stared numbly at the scene before him. He recognized it and yet he really wished that he didn't, after all he had already seen such a sight once before.

This was what Hell looked like…

There was nothing but devastation around them, buildings falling down and crumbling into dust. There was fire everywhere, burning everything it touched and leaving nothing but ruin in its wake. The air was filled with nothing but ash and dust, making it difficult to breathe though Shirou barely noticed it. He looked around and saw that the others were here too, including the five Old Maou Faction devils from the Khaos Brigade. Of course he knew what this was, after all he had one too, though his was admittedly a lot different than this.

"What is this place?" Ravel asked as she looked around.

"A Reality Marble," Shirou answered her. "It's his inner world."

A Devil with 'Hell' as a Reality Marble…

He wasn't surprised…

"Welcome to hell," Rizevim smiled at them all. "Now let me show you what a real devil is like."

Ravel had heard the term 'Super-Devil' growing up in the Phenex household, especially when her parents were talking about the current Lucifer. It was a level of strength so far beyond that of any other devil that it was said to be on par with the most powerful of gods. It was later on that she found out that only two devils had reached that level, Sirzechs Lucifer and Ajuka Beelzebub. Even among the Maou, those two stood out as the strongest and most powerful devils in the entire history of their race.

Now there appeared to be a third…

Rizevim's presence changed in an instant, so fast that if she'd blinked then she would have missed it. It was like standing in front of an inferno with no end, a living, breathing hell in physical form. Any sense of 'humanity' disappeared and all that was left was power. Not even a second later both Sirzechs and Ajuka changed as well, becoming something other than the devils they pretended to be. A sonic boom resonated over the burning landscape as Sirzechs and Ajuka crossed the distance between themselves and Rizevim.

The landscape wrenchedas he caught their fists…

"You…" Ajuka trailed off as he glared at the son of Lucifer.

"Were we in the real world then you both would be difficult to handle," Rizevim said as his smile widened. "But in here I am at my most powerful so I have the advantage."

While the three of them clashed, the other two Maou and Grayfia were fighting the four Old Maou Faction members. Despite being outnumbered three to four, Grayfia, Serafall and Flabium were holding their own. Azazel and Michael stood back with the others, waiting for an opening to enter the battle. This went on for several minutes with the two sides clashing again and again, rearranging the landscape with every attack.

This was a Maou-level battle…

To Shirou it reminded him of the Holy Grail War…

He'd seen inhuman entities fight before, leaving nothing but devastation in their wake, and this was just like that. They were all so far beyond humanity that it wasn't even funny, and yet they were not the strongest beings in existence. From EMIYA's memories he knew that the Aristoteles—entities that were the literal embodiments of planets—were the strongest, rivalled only by Sorcerers—those that had mastered True Magic—and from what Ravel had told him, the Dragon Gods.

Jumping into a fight like this—especially on this scale—was suicide even by his standards. He watched as Ajuka dropped down on top of Rizevim with a kick which was blocked, but not before the force behind it propelled the son of Lucifer down to the ground. The landscape cracked from the impact as a crater formed, blowing dust and ash everywhere. Sirzechs followed this up by flying up above and then bombarding the entire area where Rizevim fell with his Power of Destruction.

Shirou hadn't seen it in person before but from the reports he had read, it was a portion of the Denial of Nothingness, the First True Magic which could create something from nothing and reduce anything to nothing. The Power of Destruction was the latter, capable of obliterating anything it touched upon impact, effectively erasing it from existence. The only way he could conceivably fight any of them was to fully summon his Reality Marble and hurl Holy Swords at them like Excalibur until they stopped moving.

"Enough," Rizevim snarled angrily up at them.

The world shook as his voice echoed across the hellish landscape with columns of lava shooting up from the cracks in the ground, hitting both Sirzechs and Ajuka head-on. They were stunned long enough for Rizevim to close the distance between them and stab his hand right through their chests where their hearts were. He kicked them away and they crashed down beside a distraught Rias. A second later Grayfia, Serafalll and Flabium pulled back to land beside the two wounded Super-Devils.

"Shit…" Ajuka gritted out.

"That…hurt…" Sirzechs trailed off as he clutched his bleeding chest.

Michael and Azazel shared a look for a moment before turning their gaze back towards the enemy Super-Devil hovering in front of them. They were sure that they could the four normal enemy devils just fine, especially with help from Grayfia, Serafalll and Flabium. However judging by what they had seen so far, Rizevim was beyond them, especially here inside his Reality Marble. They couldn't win, not like this, nor could they retreat while the Reality Marble was still active.

"Do you see how futile it is?" Rizevim asked them. "You are completely outmatched."

He was right…

There was nothing they could do…

This was the end…

"No," a word barely above a whisper.

"What?" Rizevim questioned harshly as he turned his gaze towards the one who spoke.

Who would dare challenge him at this point?

"It's not futile," Miyu shot back as she stepped forward.

"Miyu…" Shirou trailed off as he watched her go.

"Watch me Onii-chan," Miyu said quietly as a single card slid into her hand. "This time I'll be the hero."

It was the 'Saber' card…

"That's her!" Katerea shouted as she pointed at the dark-haired girl. "That's the Holy Grail!"

"Stop her!" Rizevim ordered loudly.

"Install," Miyu incanted clearly.

The card sank into her skin as she ran forward, a set of white and blue armour materializing over her body. The air in her hand compressed and then scattered revealing a beautiful golden sword. She seemed to vanish in a burst of blue speed and reappeared in front of the Old Satan Faction members. She slashed, cutting clean through them, making Euclid, Katerea, Creuserey and Shalba scream as the holy energies burned them, killing them before they even had the chance to defend themselves.

"Accursed child," Rizevim said with no small amount of disgust in his voice. "You call yourself a hero? You're a devil! Listen up, girl. Devils are beings that have to be evil, wicked, brutal, bad, scum, wrong, brute, and vicious. Copying what's done by a hero? Hero? That is something that a "justice" would do. You know, beings like humans and Angels? And what are we? You do know we are "evil" and "bad" existences? Then isn't it obvious what we have to do?"

"I don't care what you say," Miyu sneered back. "Even if I'm a devil, I'm still a hero."

"Miyu…" Shirou trailed off at the sight.

She really was something else…

"She's right," Ravel spoke clearly as she stepped forward. "Rizevim Livan Lucifer, things have changed since the Civil War. We are no longer a race of death and destruction but a race of creation and rebirth. The 'devil' that you proclaim us to be no longer exists because we have evolved beyond it."

"Insolent brat," Rizevim sneered down at her.

"If you desire proof then look no further that those before you," Ravel concluded.

"What proof?" Rizevim asked the question. "You mean that collection of reincarnated trash that you call a peerage? A reckless beast, three useless witches, a hypocritical swordswoman, a faker, and her. If this is the future of the Underworld, then I would love to see it burn. My Sacred Gear Canceller makes the Red Dragon Emperor's power useless against me, magic and Holy Swords aren't enough to stop me, and she can't doesn't have the magical energy needed to use her miracle. What can you possibly do?"

There weren't many things that made Ravel really angry but insulting her peerage was definitely one of them. She was about to take a step forward and launch herself at him but stopped when she felt a hand rest on her shoulder. She looked over her shoulder as Shirou stepped forward and walked on passed Miyu. She couldn't speak as she watched him go, Galatine still clutched tightly in his right hand and ready to be swung at a moment's notice.

"Does it matter what race someone is?" Shirou shot back as small shockwaves rippled across the ground with every step he took. "Do you have to be human to be a hero? No, you don't, you just have to be willing to make the sacrifice and believe that what you're doing is right. I'm a hero to my friends—my family—and you can't deny that."

"You? A fake like you dares to call himself a hero?" Rizevim laughed amused. "You're nothing but broken trash!"

"You're wrong," Shirou replied simply. "I am the bone of my sword."

The world rippled as the sky behind them parted and rays of sunlight shone through the blackened clouds above. The ground behind him distorted and morphed, taking the shape of a barren landscape. Shirou didn't say anything else, he simply shot forward, Galatine raised high as he closed the distance between the two. Rizevim snarled and reared his fist back only to be surprised when instead of slashing with the sword, Shirou instead hurled it at him.

Rizevim spun faster than any being he had seen before but even with the god-like speed, he wasn't able to get out of the way in time and was forced to deflect the sword to the side with his wings. He hissed in pain as the holy light from the sword burned his wings, leaving them bloody and smoking. Impossible! A mere reincarnated devil with no Sacred Gear or supernatural bloodline was capable of harming him to such an extent?

This boy would pay dearly for making a mockery of him…

"Install."

He barely heard the word being spoken before he was forced to use his wings to block the three swords that swung at him. Miyu was first to reach him, swinging Excalibur at his head. Xenoiva was second with her Durandal coming in from the side and Sakura struck from behind with Arondight in striking at his back. There was a loud clang as all three blades struck the wings and was soon followed by a hissing sound as they started to burn through.

Arondight: The Unfading Light of the Lake, tainted and radiating a demonic aura that rivalled both Galatine and Excalibur's Holy Aura. It was an A-Rank Anti-Unit Noble Phantasm created by the Fae and originally given to Lancelot of the Lake when he was a Knight of the Round Table. This one was tainted by the blood of his fellow knights whom he had slain in order to save Guinevere from execution and so was still a Demonic Sword. It also granted a boost to its user's abilities, increasing their parameters by one rank.

It wasn't enough…

"Boost," Ddraig's voice rang out over the battlefield. "Transfer."

It was only then that Rizevim realised that the last attack had been nothing but a distraction to keep him occupied long enough for Issei to Boost his energy levels to the breaking point. He pressed his gauntlet-covered hand against Ravel's back and Transferred the accumulated power into her causing her demonic aura and flames to expand outwards. Ravel gritted her teeth as her Magic Circuits burned due to the sudden influx of energy and concentrated on the space between her hands.

One shot…

That's all she had…

"Impossible," Rizevim whispered as she appeared in front of him. "So this is the power of the Red Dragon Emperor and the Phenex Heiress?"

"Solar Fire!" Ravel snarled as she struck.

Rizevim's survival instincts kicked in and he reacted far faster than anyone else thought he could. Even with his Reality Marble being invaded by that reincarnated mongrel, it still granted him the boost in his speed and reflexes to the point that he was able to bring his wings around to defend himself from the sudden surprise attack. Still, the Solar Fire was hot enough to melt through his wings and burn his chest. He gritted his teeth in pain and dispelled his Devil's Requiem as he landed a few feet away.

"Impressive," Rizevim praised as he looked down at the scorch marks on his chest. "True it was done using the Red Dragon Emperor's power but still, to think that you could land a blow on me little bird."

"Hold still and I'll do it again," Ravel shot back but they both knew that it was bravado at this point.

That was her best shot…

She had nothing left…

"I think that I'll pass," Rizevim chuckled before he shot forward once again.

This time however, his target was Miyu. She was unprepared for the sudden rush and found her Excalibur knocked out of her hands before a fist tightened around her neck. She gasped for air as another fist slammed into her gut, knocking her out and causing her Saber card to Uninstall, dropping to the floor beside her. Rizevim smiled as he hoisted her unconscious form and a magic circle appeared under him, his means of escape.

"Miyu!" Shirou shouted as he ran towards them.

It was too late…

"We will meet again," Rizevim laughed as he disappeared with Miyu in his arms. "And next time you will die."

He was gone a moment later…

It was over…
