Out on the dance floor, Bowser and Raven rejoined the party. A massive cake was being cut.

Bowser glanced down at the scroll in his coat pocket. He had to give this to Raven before the end of the night. It was rather important.

Everyone was served a slice, and Raven sat by the bar, eating hers contentedly.

''Enjoying yourself, Princess?" Toadsworth Enquired as he hopped onto the barstool beside her.

Raven , having a mouthful of cake, only nodded emphatically. It was the best birthday she had had in a while.

"I hear one of your Esteemed Admirers got you a durable Bungee jumping rope. Your old one broke recently, yes? I saw it in your bag."

Her eyes were huge and she swallowed quickly.

"R-Really? Who sent it to me?"

He consulted a list.

"Darkland's youngest prince. He said you deserved a stronger one.''

Raven looked very excited. She had been shopping around for a new one since hers broke, however, she had been unlucky so far.

She sat up straighter.

"Toadsworth, is the performing troupe of travelling Actors and Actresses still in the Mushroom Kingdom?"

When he nodded, she continued.

"Send them to Darkland...Tell them we will foot the bill. There is not much entertainment in Darkland and it will do the children good."

Toadsworth immediately hopped off the barstool and went to make arrangements. Another sat beside her.

''How are you enjoying yourself ? "

Raven glanced over. It was her sister, Daisy. She had noticed that Daisy had been dancing with an awful lot of people that evening.

As Raven made to speak, Daisy raised her hand.

"Let me speak. I'm.. I'm sorry about Damon. I.. I was wrong for stealing him from you.''

Raven threw her arms around her happily.

''All I wanted from you was an apology. That fire that burned him...His blood is now upon my hands. I shall have to live with that memory and that knowledge until I die. I only hope he is resting in peace.''She said rather solemnly.

Daisy spoke not another word, but pulled her sister out onto the dance floor. The two fell into dance.

The room fell silent save for the band as the entire room watched the two sisters.

Peach chuckled from her chair.

"Looks like they finally made up."

Ludwig watched the two dance as he sipped a Ginger Ale. It was the only drink here he could drink. Everything else was either too alcoholic, or it was too flowery and sweet.

Ludwig despised sweet things almost as much as he despised being touched.

''Father, did you give her the scroll?" He asked his father, who was right beside him drinking what Ludwig considered a very foul smelling drink. Peach kept glaring at the two every ccouple of minutes.

Bowser shook his head.

"I haven't had a 's been told me to give it to her when she was alone and her sisters have prevented it since I gave her the choker."

Ludwig stared at him sternly.

''Her destiny is encapsulated in that scroll. Her father gave it to YOU to give to her because he trusted you.''

Bowser looked very annoyed with his son.

"I know alright? And if she doesn't get it tonight..."

"Then she will be in grave danger.''Ludwig said grimly.
