Ludwig grew quiet as he checked the wound . Then he led her out to the clown copter , which was parked on the balcony.
"We've known for a while. We just needed to make sure. I'm surprised you didn't notice too. She was acting oddly all evening. For now, we need to get you to father."

Raven clenched her fists, stars spotting her vision.
Good gods she was in a lot of pain right now.

Ludwig supported her as she got into the clown copter.

"Easy Raven..Relax. We'll be there soon and we can get that wound fixed."
When Raven woke , mostly due to pain , She could feel the gentle rocking of the clown copter.

As she looked up, she saw the back of a Koopa shell and a shock of bright blue hair.

"Lud..wig."
Silently he handed her a flask.

"Drink this. It will help."

Raven took the flask and took a swig. She spluttered as the liquid slid down her throat.

''It's Koopale. '' He answered her unspoken question, voice tinged with worry. "But that blade that cut you was poisoned. Try not to move around too much, Alright?"

As Raven mumbled a weak response, she glanced down at the sword sheathed in her lap. The last time she had seen it unsheathed was when her father had wielded it.

"It's a beautiful sword." She muttered.
"We're almost there, Raven. Hang in there and don't fall asleep again. You might not wake up this time."

She clung to the sides of the clown car and waited.

Bowser was on his throne when Ludwig tore into the room.

"We need a medic!" He bellowed. Kamek flew over to him and they exchange words before Kamek flew off.

"What happened? I thought you were staying at Raven's for the night?" Bowser's voice was tinged with curiousity.

Ludwig explained what had happened. By the end, Bowser was gripping his throne arms so hard that they were cracking under the pressure.

"I didn't think they would attack her." He said honestly. "Get some sleep Ludwig. I'll watch over Raven."

Raven awoke feeling very warm. She was pressed against a very familiar chest.

"Bowser." She mumbled sleepily.

There was a soft chuckle.

"Hello Princess."

Raven pressed her lips against his cheek.

"I'm not still bleeding poison, am I?"

He shook his head.

"Not at all. Kamek checked you over thoroughly. Bled you several times. No green goo at all." He cupped her cheek.
"Do you feel sick?"

Raven shook her head slowly.

"Just a little hungry. To be honest, I didn't eat very much at the feast. I was too preoccupied with the scroll."
Bowser nodded and in seconds, the ground lifted away from her.

Raven could feel that they were moving rather fast.

"I can walk y'know ." She said, a bit irritated.

In response, Bowser shifted her in his arms.

He sat her down in one of the chairs in the dining hall.

It was set for breakfast. The Koopalings were eating happily.

All chatter had screeched to a halt by this point.

Ludwig rose from his seat and ran to Raven's side , silently enveloping her in a hug.

Raven wrapped an arm around him silently. She was so relieved to see him alright.

''Mama!" B.J. ran up to her and clung to her tightly. "Ludwig said Peach hurt you!"

Raven visibly flinched.

"What did you call me?"
