TW: GORE,DEAD BODIES, VIOLENCE, SOOOO MUCH GORE.
Thalia was sitting in Tyrion's big swivel chair, poring over maps and sky charts. The clone of her brother had given her the study and Peach's room as her quarters.
From what she understood, these rebels had turned soon after Peach was taken.
The study door creaked open, causing her to look up. She had massive bags under her eyes from lack of sleep.
The Tyrion clone was standing there. His eyes were reddish and he had a steady cough.
"Lina asked to see you."
"Aye, I probably should visit her. Why do you keep her confined in that room?"
T.C. coughed into his hand before continuing.
"There was a lot of traps set in here to keep intruders out. Most of them are lethal." He replied.
"You did tell her you aren't the real Tyrion, right? I heard her call you grandfather earlier." Thalia's grip on her pen tightened.
T.C. nodded.
"She's not understanding totally. She is only two after all."
Thalia's hand slammed against the desk.
"Where is the REAL Tyrion?" She demanded. "Where are my nieces?"
T.C. sat across from her.
"Peach and Daisy are in the capital of the Crystal Kingdom. Tyrion is in a bricked up cell in Sarasaland."
Thalia went white as a sheet.
"Don't they need him? If he dies..won't you die as well?"
The clone nodded grimly.
"Yes. They want him to suffer for what he did. They treated him fairly at first, but when the Queen found out.."
''So. Ariyana IS alive in Sarasaland."
''There is a chance to save Tyrion. But you're in no shape to do anything. You need to worry about getting Lina out of here. We'll talk more when you get back from your visit with her.
As Thalia entered Tyrion's room, Lina let out a squeal and threw herself at Thalia.
"Auntie! I missed you!" She pouted. She took Thalia's hands and began to tug her towards the bed.
"Sit with me!" She cutely demanded.
Thalia obliged the little one and sat on the edge of the bed.
"Lina love?"
The little one looked up at her curiously.
"What?"
She took Lina's little hands in hers.
"How would you like to go on a trip with me?" Her voice was shaking. "You , me , and my men. We're going to go see Auntie Raven. How does that sound?"
Lina's eyes were huge.
"Trip!Trip! I wanna go!" She squealed. "Where is auntie though?"
"Darkland."
EAGLELANDJeff stepped back from the teleporter with a triumphant cry. His hair and clothes were plastered to his body with sweat. He had been working nonstop since dawn.
"It's finally done!"
The group looked up from their various activities.
Tracey and Paula were sitting in front of each other, deeply immersed in their Psi training.
"It's finished?" Poo confirmed.
Jeff nodded exhaustedly.
"Everyone ready to go? Make sure you've got everything because we're not making a second trip!"
Everyone gathered their things quickly. There was no time to waste.
Doctor Andonuts stepped in front of them.
"Jeff..I don't think I need to tell you to be careful..You've grown a lot and I'm so proud of you."
Jeff smiled wearily.
"I'll miss you Dad."
Everyone crowded into the teleporter. It was extremely crowded.
As Jeff began to input the coordinates to Darkland, Paula lost her balance and slammed into him.
The push caused him to slam his hand down on the Go button.
The silver teleporter shimmered and faded out of the Winters laboratory.
As they faded back into Reality, Jeff opened the door.
Instead of the comfortably warm darkness of Darkland's capital, blinding light was what greeted them.
Tracey peeked out. Almost immediately, she began to gag and covered her nose. Her face was going an alarming shade of green.
As they all stepped out into the sand, a horrifying sight greeted them.
A high wall, rusted looking and old, stretched as far as they could see both ways.
Looking closer, they could see that the rust was , in fact both dried and fresh blood.
Looking up near the top, it was evident why the wall was covered in blood.
Bodies had been hung by the thousands from the top of the wall.
The tiny flower beings hanging from the wall, with flowers perched atop their heads much like the toads, were known as Flora.
They were hanging from the wall, decaying and rotting. Birds were gathered at the top, pecking at the bodies. At the bottom of the wall, only bones and decaying flesh remained.
"I don't think this is Darkland.'' Paula's voice was trembling.
Tracey shook her head.
"Those are Flora. Flora only live in one kingdom." She swallowed back a wave of nausea.
"I believe we are in Sarasaland. More specifically, the capital of Solaria."
Jeff turned to Paula, irritation in his eyes.
"This is what happens when you slam into me , Paula."
Paula at least had the decency to blush.
"I lost my balance. I'm sorry."
Poo was staring at the bodies.
"These crystal people are monsters." His voice was shaking. It took a LOT to unnerve the newly crowned King.
Tracey placed her hand on Poo's shoulder.
"Poo?"
The king glanced back at her.
"We need to investigate IMMEDIATELY."
Jeff inputted a series of commands into the teleporter. As he exited the teleporter, it shrank to the size of an apple with a SHWOOM.
Jeff carefully picked it up and placed it in his pocket.
"We cannot let something this important fall into their hands. Otherwise, we're stuck here."
As they moved around the wall attempting to find the front gates, more and more bodies began appearing on the ground. They couldn't really be called bodies anymore as they were basically just bits of muscle and bones.
"THERE!" Tracey called out.
A rusty red gate loomed ahead. Blood was flowing freely down it from the most recent additions to the wall. It was locked up tight, however, with no way inside.
Poo studied the gate. As he walked up to the gate, Psi energy began radiating from his hands.
He curled his right hand into a fist before punching the gate with all his might.
The gate shivered before exploding into pieces. The four had to dodge the large shrapnel quickly.
"Door's open."
The others stared with wide eyes.
Poo motioned them through the gate.
"Hurry."
As the four headed into the capital city, it was evident that the Flora had put up a fight. It was also very evident that they had lost.
Buildings had been smashed into dust. Debris and dead rotting bodies were everywhere.
"Oh my god.'' Paula was trying so very hard not to cry. ''This-This is horrible!"
As the castle came into view, the four stared in wonder. This castle was more enormous then anything they had seen in their short lives.
The castle appeared to be flying an unusual banner. However, none of the teens could make it out.
The front doors of the castle were thrown open with a loud band, causing the teens to jump.
A woman with long , sandy blonde hair was standing there, looking very unamused. Her blue eyes were like ice as she regarded them from behind her glasses. Her hair was in a braided bun and she appeared to be wearing a lab coat.
"Trespassers.'' She snapped. ''In MY KINGDOM? I don't think so!"
Poo stepped foreward.
"Please, we are warriors from Eagleland. Who are you?" He demanded.
"I am Queen Ariyana Demaria of Sarasaland. And we were forewarned you might be showing up, little Paula." She jabbed her finger in the girls direction.
"Paula Polestar, A psychic master of the abilities known as Psi."
She jabbed her finger at Jeff.
"Jeff Andonuts. Genius inventer. That leaves you, King Poo.'' Her tone was sickly sweet. "I don't give a damn who the other one is. She'll die soon enough."
As guards by the thousands began to swarm them, Poo knew he had time for only one Psi move. One chance to strike.
As Paula caught his eyes, she nodded once and mouthed something.
His entire body began to glow. Vaguely, he heard the Queen yelling for the teens to be seized. Likewise, Paula began to glow as well. He had spent weeks teaching her this move. Now was the time to see if she'd mastered it.
As Poo and Paula's eyes opened, eyes glowing an eerie white, they shouted in unison.
"PK STARSTORM!"
Hyrule
Zelda sat on her throne, listening yet again as Link and Ganondorf argued.
It had been started by Ganondorf mentioning almost casually that the Queen's dress had snagged on a nail, tearing the bottom part of the dress.
Of course Link had to jump to her defense. He had yelled for Impa.
Zelda valued Link's friendship, but sometimes she wanted to shake him into pieces.
IM NOT YOURS she wanted to shout. Im not your property! I don't even LIKE you like that!
As Impa broke up the fight, Zelda made up her mind.
"Link, I want to speak with you ALONE. Impa, please escort Ganondorf to his room.'' She ordered.
"Yes my Queen!" Impa bowed before escorting Ganondorf out.
Zelda stared down at Link. Her sandy blonde hair was in her face, so she brushed it out of the way.
"I believe this conversation has been a long time coming, Link." Zelda began "Ever since you defeated Ganondorf, you've acted differently."
Link looked confused. The former Kokori wasn't the brightest sometimes.
"Different how, Princess?"
''You've acted protective of me. As though I require protecting. As though I am your lady love or something."
She saw Link flinch.
I hit the nail on the head. She thought wryly.
"My Queen, I-"
"Thought that we would get together? That we'd marry?"
Link swallowed hard and nodded, almost shyly.
Zelda stood up and walked down the three steps to reach him.
"Look at me.'' She commanded.
As Link looked up, something akin to fear was evident in his blue eyes.
"I value you as a friend." Her voice was stern. "And I shall never forget how you saved my kingdom. But Im the QUEEN. Im expected to marry another royal to continue the royal bloodline, even though I am loathed to do so. And even if I WAS free to follow my heart, your actions lately make me unwilling to try."
Link felt his heart shattering into a million pieces. His Queen didn't return his affections.
"I-If it's my attitude, I can change." He managed to say.
Zelda shook her head.
"This discussion is over, Link. Please tell Impa to bring in Ganondorf.'' She requested politely.
Link turned without another word and walked out.
Zelda moved back to her throne, pinching the bridge of her nose. That was harder then she thought.
A few moments later, Ganondorf was escorted into the throne room. An evil grin was evident on his face.
"What did you say to the Hero of Time, your Grace?" He teased. "He looks like someone just tried to neuter him like the whipped dog he is."
"Ganondorf, that's enough!" Zelda snapped irritably. ''You and he have been at each other's throats for weeks now! I want this to stop NOW!"
Ganondorf smirked.
"And what's in it for me?"
"Not being killed." She shot back, her patience having ran out. ''I will not have you antagonizing Link. We are ALLIES. So start acting like allies before I banish you again. Because I am DONE with your attitude."
Ganondorf's face was full of surprise. He'd only ever heard her use that tone when she was disguised as Sheik.
"As you wish your grace. '' His voice was calm. "You only had to ask."
Zelda regarded him suspiciously.
"Why are you being so cooperative?" She demanded.
Ganondorf looked at her, a serious expression on his face.
"We three, you, Link, and I, are reborn and reborn and reborn to fight each other. At least this time, I'd like to not die."
He walked up the three steps to the throne.
Zelda visibly tensed up.
"And because I think you can do better than the little Kokori boy. Maybe I think you'd do better with someone like me."
With that, Ganondorf leaned in.
BOOOOOOM
He and Zelda were thrown forward from the force of the blast.
Ganondorf turned his body so Zelda would be shielded from the falling rubble.
"We appear to be under attack, Your Grace." Ganondorf's voice was tinged with pain.
A rather large piece of rubble had landed on him. He shoved it off, looking annoyed. Zelda could see that he was in a lot of pain.
Zelda went white as a sheet. They had sent all their forces to save the Mushroom Kingdom. They had no other troops.
They were doomed.
